Well, that didn't take very long, did it? Eve was my 10 year FR anniversary hatch, and I scattered her into a double coral earlier today.

and well, NotN was very kind to me.

An opportunistic scavenger who's called Dragonhome her hunting grounds since her birth, Eve has prowled the tunnels beneath Earth territory for quite some time, mapping ancient ruins and seeking cities previously thought to be simple myth.

Noted loyalist to The Harvestmaster and thus not above swindling and theft for the pursuit of knowledge, Eve's presence near the Wicked Dig is that of a wildcard, a spoiler candidate in it only for herself.

Those with keen eyes will be quick to detect this quirk of personality, however, as the armor coating her single arm and 'skeletal' baubles are all carved and pearlescent- stolen trophies, maps made from the minds of those with knowledge she desired- and parted them with, violently.

“See? That wasn’t so bad!” Jocelyn laughed nervously as she brushed her jacket off, “I told you we’d make it out.”

“It was foolish of you to jump into an altercation like that,” Draxum lightly chastised Jocelyn as he followed behind her, “You need to stop being so careless.”

“I’m not careless! I can handle myself you know, and some foot clan goons don’t scare me,” Jocelyn crossed her arms.

“That’s not the point,” Draxum pinched the bridge of his nose. Why was she so stubborn? He let out a sigh, “You keep jumping head first into danger without thinking about it.”

“I know what I’m doing, Barry. Stop treating me like I don’t. I learned how to fight alongside the turtles too,” she turned around and poked him in the chest, “Lighten up!”

However, what she wasn’t expecting, was Draxum pulling her close to him, and leaning down to be face to face with her.

“Stop getting yourself in trouble. I won’t always be there to get you out of it.”

Jocelyn felt her face go red, and hoped he didn’t notice. The close contact with him made her dizzy, and it would be so easy for one of them to lean in and steal a kiss-

She had to move, now.

“You worry too much,” Jocelyn pushed away, laughing nervously, “We should meet back up with the turtles, before they freak out. You know how they get.”

Draxum only watched as she headed back to the street level, wondering what exactly he was going to do with her. Humans were fragile, and Jocelyn was no exception. He hated how stubborn she was, but he also admired her for it.

But he also wished he could stop worrying so much about her.

Anyways, it seems Draxum cares about Joce a lot more than he lets on, and poor Joce is flustered to high heaven.

She doesn’t really know how to handle this information.

Droids (1985) self insert reference sheet! 💛💜

Some of my old mutuals might remember this screenshot redraw I did last year, my first foray into screenshot faking. Well, I decided it’s time to make actual reference sheets since I’ve made it my mission to draw Kaiyo in the cartoons Threeps has been in. I’ll eventually do one for 2D clone wars as well.

I remember learning that the droids cartoon isn’t considered canon, so I thought that this version of Kaiyo isn’t canon either, and her role in the show does not interfere with her actual role in the saga. The only similarity she has with Canon Kaiyo is that she gets with Threepio.

I don’t have a set backstory or anything like that, but I think she would probably be a podracer or something similar. She would probably be the last “master” the droids meet in the show, and she regards them as friends (well, R2 at least). I just really like the idea of Droids Kaiyo being a lady who podraces. Not the dual wielding rebel spy we know in canon, but just as cool.

my understandig is the reaosn the r-slur is different from say dyke or faggot or tranny or queer or the n-word or whatever is these are all words folks have found in time to be a fun way of empowerment against the abuse they represent. Like yeah I'm mister faggot, what's it to ya? Like some folks in these groups still don't like 'em and that's okay. But there's a sizeable amount of people who do and identify with them and have used them to find community and advocate and be seen and known.

the r-slur isn't like that. there's no real history that I can think of of intellectually disabled people using it....it's a very loaded word. it's loaded with centuries of medical abuse and torture and the systematic mistreatment of people who are often unable to fully understand what is even going on when it's being slapped on them while they're hurt and demeaned and yelled at or worse. I have had that word used against me so much just seeing it makes me tense and makes my eye tears up. That's a word that was used as I was assaulted. There's no friendship or community or belonging to be found in its use. only hurt.

Well. that's an incredibly timely miracle, ain't it?

Meet The Sow. Not truly an entity of her own, The Sow is an organic puppet made by the hand of the Puppeteer in an effort to copy Pig's loyalty to Magda in something loyal to her, instead. But creations made in selfishness rarely flourish, and The Sow has found herself as a Thronebreaker, a dragon with a desire to bring low the lesser gods known as The Host- the pantheon among which Puppeteer and Pig's own charge Magda- reside.

Twisted mirrors of one another, one with the goal to destroy The Host and the other willing to die a thousand times over to preserve at least one part of it, Pig and Sow have very little fondness for one another, Cleavers clashing each time they cross paths, it is rare they part without more wounds in already tattered hides- Pig himself displeased with the idea of being duplicated and The Sow willing to kill to obtain something resembling individuality.

But this rule, like most things, is not without circumstances that see it... bend. Few understand the call of the Cleaver, the draw to cut down those who bring forth it's sweet song, and in the other, there is perhaps a comfort- albeit... temporary- to know they are not alone.

I cannot thank @korozo-fr enough for literally producing the miraculous unrelated swamp/blood/blood female I needed the moment I realized I might have to hunt harder for her, and as soon as she has her weaver gene (Gotta make a loathesome cube and then toss it in the baldypot) She'll be completed and I'll be able to make PIGLETS!

i rlly kinda need fat liberation or body positivity or whatever to be so so so So much better about includong masculine folks in their resources and conversations.

ive rarely been femme even before i knew i wasnt a woman so its not like ive really had a bountiful access to fat resources aimed towards femme folks but god damn i have felt my options shrink even smaller the less comfortable i am with femme aimed resources and how out of place my body seems within so many of those spaces and resources. ESPECIALLY ones that can accomodate my trans body, tits (that i don't hate! and don't foresee going anywhere anytime soon!) and all.

i know how few plus sized clothing brands there are (not even getting into affordable + ethically made etc etc) but if the ones that exist its an OVERWHELMINGLY femme aligned majority that i feel miserable wearing without a lot of extra styling and modification work. or the amount of masc clothes in stock at plus size resale stores vs femme clothes. or if i am looking for style inspiration or folks speaking about fat liberation finding fit insp for fat women is easy! but i have a much smaller pool of fat masculine folks (who i treasure dearly!) that ive found and return to their content regularly because its so valuable to me because its often hidden under content that, while important, has limited usefulness for me

i find this extra prevalent in body positivity spaces, where it often feels like resources and information is shared with the assumption that its been shared to other femme folks and women without specifying that is who its usefulness is aimed towards. what triggered this post right now (although its honestly always lurking around the corner, watch out if you have a single conversation with me about fat liberation) was a post about body positivity where someone shared a resource of a website where you can put in your height, weight, other info and see people who might look like you (and make it easier to appreciate their body where you find it difficult to appreciate your own). and i thought thats a cool resource! i dont get to see people who look like me, hardly ever! lets check it out!

unfortunately what wasnt included was that the subtitle for this site is "what real women look like" so while there wasn't any info stating identities of the people shown on the photos, of the few i clicked through they all were femme and while they looked great, i didnt see anyone who i felt looked like me to get what i hoped out of that site. this would have been fine if the person had posted it had stated its target audience up front, but this isnt the first time, and wont be the last time, that i got excited about a resource only to learn it actually has very little that applies to me.

if you are someone who shares content about fat liberation, PLEASE consider how much content and resources you share that can be utilized by your masculine followers as well - and at the very least, please don't state something as universally beneficially if its not. i understand why there is such a focus on this considering the history of beauty standards applied to femme folks (and more). however im unlearning those too and now also dealing with new ones as i transition that are far less talked about and i just ask we give some space for fat men, masculine people, butches and more to also create space to deal with these struggles within fat liberation spaces. especially especially especially for fellow folks larger than small fats because the need only grows.

anyways! this is marena! i am Very Tired and don't have much to add but i LOVE how this design turned out. love her gay little hat too it's probably my favorite part of the whole damn design.
