i think one of the things that especially annoyed me during the ttpd album rollout was when people took lyrics out of context or took the lyrics way too literally and called them cringe because of that and it made me realize that the general public doesn't really bother with analyzing song lyrics and try to find meaning to the lyrics and how they can mean something else entirely
#taylor's songwriting is so rich because she makes things sound poetic#and it can be the most simple things in hindsight#but it's what makes her songwriting interesting at the end of the day#she creates a story from something as simple as breaking up#or getting over a relationship#the 'universe' she created with this album alone was crafted well tbh#and i don't expect everyone to understand but#i think it's how most don't try to respect her as an artist and songwriter#and it's quite annoying to me#.txt
