If his anxiety had been a bit higher, Ruairi imagined all of the hustle and bustle of the Pride celebration would have made him want to hide in the nearest corner for the rest of his natural life simply to get a reprieve. Are you busy?” He asked, glancing around in an attempt to gauge whether or not he’d be stealing Jasper away from someone if he tried to get their attention. “I was thinkin’ if you weren’t we could take a break together? If you want to, obviously, I don’t want you to feel obligated.” Christ, why was he so flustered? It wasn’t as if Jasper was going to laugh in his face for even asking and Ruairi forced himself to relax as he waited for the librarian to respond.
