"i just want you to know.... i didn't bring you back because i wanted to. it was just, like... better for the coven." nevermind that half of them had begged her not to try— necromancy was notoriously tricky to get right. "but, since i DID bring you back, it wouldn't hurt you to be a little nicer to me."

Demeter July was on top of the world. She had spent the past ten years starring in a reality show about dancers and their mothers, she had won more national competitions than she could count, and her life was seemingly perfect. But her dance instructor was horrific, her mom’s past mistakes were constantly held against her, and she was crumbling under the weight of the cameras watching her every move. Until one day she breaks, the lowest moment of her life captured on film and aired across the world. Unable to handle the scrutiny any longer, spiralling more and more every day, Cassie July had to look out for her daughter’s best interest — in this case, getting out of the spotlight. One emotional conversation later and Demi finds her life packed up in suitcases on a plane to Lima, Ohio, to recuperate under the care of her beloved honorary uncle, Josh St James.

Dolly Corcoran was living the dream.  She was on top of the world, female lead of Vocal Adrenaline, and dating Jesse St James: golden boy, star of Vocal Adrenaline and the national show choir circuit, and her lifelong friend.  Everything was perfect.  And then her mom tells she and Barbie that they have a sister.  A sister who happens to be the female lead of the New Directions.  A sister that their mother wants to form a relationship with.  A sister that their mother wants to form a relationship with by having Jesse transfer schools and start a relationship with her.  Dolly Corcoran was living the dream, but that dream is quickly turning into a nightmare.  A nightmare starring one Rachel Barbara Berry.

Hillary Holliday’s life had never lacked in adventure.  Stability, yes.  Permanence, yes.  Adventure?  Absolutely not.  Moving from city to city as fast as her mom could pack the car, Hillary’s life was one long string of adventure.  And it was fun, for the most part.  There was definitely something to be said for endless opportunities to start over and reinvent herself.  But it was hard, too.  Never being anywhere long enough to make friends, long enough to have a real home.  Still, she was used to it, and the passenger seat of her mom’s car was as good a home as any.  But when fate lands them in Lima, Ohio, something is different.  She couldn’t say what, exactly, but something had changed and maybe, just maybe, she wanted to see if this one could last.

Jeremy St James had two main reasons for wanting to attend McKinley High over Carmel.  The first reason was easy; he lived with his Uncle Josh more often than with his parents, and Josh lived in the McKinley District.  The second reason was harder to admit, but with Jesse having been Vocal Adrenaline’s star for so long, and Aunt Shelby having been their director for just as long, he wanted to start high school somewhere outside of the shadow of his family.  Unfortunately, as he started his freshman year at McKinley with high hopes of joining their Glee club, he would quickly learn that they were more than familiar with the St James name — and unlike Carmel, they didn’t think highly of it.

But then her dad takes over the glee club and Joy has no choice but to join.  She expected the showtunes, the divas, and even her dad’s white guy rapping.  She didn’t, however, expect to fall in love, and she definitely didn’t expect to find herself caught in the middle of a war between her coach and her dad.

What does Madonna's New Tour Strategy Really Mean For The Concert Business?
In this morning’s Wall Street Journal, there was an article about the launch of Madonna’s new tour and her strategy of playing smaller venues and charging higher prices.
At the core of the article is an implication that this is a way to “beat” the brokers.
I’m not sure if I buy that angle, but I do think it is a wise decision for Madonna to change the way she is presenting her show and ensuring that she generous maximum revenue with minimum costs and expenses.
To me, Madonna’s new tour highlights 4 ideas we should pay attention to as they highlight trends that we can all use to increase our business from our experiences:
Know your market
One data point or even two doesn’t make a trend
Making an experience unique is at the heart of “The Experience Economy”
Always question anyone that says they are going to beat “scalpers”
Let me explain each of these a little more completely.
Know your market:
At the heart of Madonna’s strategy for this tour is a recognition of who her target audience is and making decisions based around that.
At 61, Madonna doesn’t really have anything to prove to any of us.
So the fact that she is doing more residencies and no arenas is just a wise business decision.
Why?
She controls costs by not having to travel constantly.
By packaging her show into smaller, intimate, and unique venues for her, she’s creating a unique experience that her fans may never have again, creating a premium experience.
Also, by spreading her shows over a residency in smaller venues, she is taking advantage of the fact that her most hardcore fans are likely to come see her more than once in a city.
At 61, many of her fans may have the desire for a more intimate or more custom experience and have the willingness to pay for it.
If you compare this to other artists that have seen some of their momentum stunted by playing venues that weren’t a good fit for them, or undergoing strategies that might not be wise long-term, you see the wisdom in taking control of the presentation of your shows by clearly recognizing your audience and taking a point of view in how you think they will best recieve your show.
This is what Madonna did by scaling down, creating something more intimate, and charging accordingly. She’s signalling to her audience, “this is for you, it isn’t for everyone.”
One data point or two doesn’t make a trend:
The article points to Taylor Swift and Madonna as highlighting a trend in acts charging higher prices for their tickets and citing this as a way that artists across the board are beating “scalpers”.
Two, or three, artists don’t make a trend.
And, I think that the only trend that all of this highlights is that you and your organization or artists need to know their strengths and plan your tours and your events accordingly.
I say this because you have Taylor Swift and Madonna on one side. On another side you have Ed Sheeran. Somewhere else you have have Garth Brooks.
All of these artists have decided to maximize their revenue, try to win revenue that the secondary market was capturing, and satisfy their fans.
What’s consistent about them is that focus.
How they get there isn’t consistent at all.
That’s the trend. You have to know your audience and come up with a solution that fits your goals because the other trend that is on display is that the one size fits all tour is likely still going to be something that the secondary market actively participates int.
Making an experience unique is at the heart of “The Experience Economy”
I talked with an executive at the Sydney Opera House and one of the challenges that they have faced over the years is keeping the experience unique to people that once they’ve seen something start to view an experience as passe.
This is what Madonna’s tour highlights once again…you have to create unique experiences for your fans to capture the maximum opportunity in “The Experience Economy”.
Just as much as the trend of premium pricing or “slow ticketing” for blockbuster performers doesn’t hold as much water as many people would hope, a trend that does hold up pretty well is the idea that giving your fans something unique or special in their experience does hold a tremendous amount of water and we are seeing that in experiences across the world.
Recently, the Washington Nationals were promoting a first pitch package. The first of its kind in MLB.
Anthony Iannarino wrote a few months back about the incredible experience he had meeting Alice Cooper at the backstage meet and greet during his tour.
The article this morning highlights all the ways that Madonna is offering fans VIP experiences.
This is the core of “The Experience Economy”. Give people something that they are going to shout about because it is so different and so thrilling that they can’t do anything but talk about it.
Always question any article that builds one of its premises on “beating scalpers”
No matter what side of the debate you fall down on, pro-broker or anti-broker, the idea of one strategy eliminating the secondary market is laughable, at best.
The reality is that the secondary market is still healthy and has become the go-to destination for people when they start their event discovery process.
Why is this happening?
A few reasons, not least among them:
Investments in branding, marketing, and digital spending.
A failure of the primary market to have their marketing tactics and efforts keep pace with the best practices from around the world of business.
A simpler, more customer-focused buying process.
I’ll listen to your arguments about pricing and gouging and manipulation. I’d even agree that in some cases I agree with a lot of them.
But the biggest failure on display regularly is how poorly experiences like sports, concerts, and theatre are marketing in most cases.
The outliers that people point to consistently like Pearl Jam, The Dead, or Ed Sheeran, prove this point.
Because of the lack of marketing effectiveness, this provides the entry point that the secondary market needs to create value for buyers and content producers.
Within that there are tons of people that create value and many that the only value they offer is having a credit card with a large credit limit.
While I agree with some of these businesses approaches and I’m a little skeptical of the value others create, the one thing I am certain of is that as long as the concert business and other experience businesses fail to market effectively, the secondary market will still have a place and no one will “beat” them because of that.
What did you think about the article and Madonna’s new tour? Let me know below.

State teams: We name the best of the best
IT’S BEEN 18 years since State of Origin footy last graced the AFL calendar but the concept continues to capture the imagination of fans across the country.
The debates are seemingly endless. Which state boasts the best midfield? Which club would be best represented across all four state teams? And would the Big V still reign supreme, or does one of the rival states have claims to the crown?
Our writers have put their heads together and come up with four State of Origin teams – Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the Allies (NSW/ACT, Queensland, Tasmania, NT) – that could take the field if the games were played this weekend (so injuries were considered).
Under our rules, a state could only claim ownership of a player if he had played his junior football (U15-U18) in that state – the player’s birthplace was considered irrelevant. Overseas players were aligned to the Allies.
ALLIES
B: Jarrod Harbrow, Dane Rampe, Jeremy Howe HB: Callum Mills, Steven May, Zac Williams C: Isaac Smith, Dayne Beams, Nick Riewoldt HF: Steven Motlop, Taylor Walker, Mav Weller F: Jack Riewoldt, Ben Brown, Luke Breust R: Toby Nankervis, Isaac Heeney, Dayne Zorko INT: Sam Gilbert, Zach Tuohy, Jack Steele, Lachie Weller  UNLUCKY: Harris Andrews, Jarrod Witts, Josh Green
A versatile line-up from around the country The Allies line-up is young but stacked full of talent, with the spine as good as any representative team you’ll see. Williams, Howe, and Harbrow give the back half plenty of dash and attack, with Rampe and Howe able to play tall or small depending on the opposition and, along with May and Mills, all six defenders use the footy well by foot. Gilbert and Tuohy are also outstanding options when they get on the ground.
Smith and Nick Riewoldt bring two totally different looks on the wing, while Nankervis is a huge presence in the ruck and has Ben Brown as back-up when he needs a rest. Beams and Heeney add class to the midfield, Zorko brings the pace, and Steele and Lachie Weller the back-up run off the bench.
Mav Weller can be added to the onball mix when he’s not inside 50, along with Motlop and Breust, with Walker and Jack Riewoldt able to be deep threats or play up the ground.
Rampe was a selection headache given he’s only played three games, but he was just too good to leave out, with Andrews stiff to miss the team, along with the injured Cyril Rioli, Grant Birchall and Mitch Robinson.
SELECTORS: Adam Curley (chairman), Michael Whiting, Peter Ryan, Matt Thompson, Nat Edwards
SOUTH AUSTRALIA
B: Rory Laird, Phil Davis, Tom Jonas HB: Shannon Hurn, Heath Grundy, Shaun Burgoyne C: Jared Polec, Bryce Gibbs, Bernie Vince HF: Paul Puopolo, Justin Westhoff, Shane Edwards F: Orazio Fantasia, Daniel Menzel, Brodie Grundy R: Sam Jacobs, Brad Ebert, Lachie Neale INT: Caleb Daniel, Brodie Smith, Ryan Burton, Trent Dumont UNLUCKY: Hamish Hartlett, Andrew Mackie, Jack Hombsch
Small forward lines are the way to go There’s no shortage of quality defenders in the South Australian team. The job Tom Jonas did on shutting down Gold Coast star Tom Lynch got him over the line, Rory Laird is in brilliant form, veteran Hawk Shaun Burgoyne rose to the occasion against the Swans while Heath Grundy (Sydney) and Phil Davis (Greater Western Sydney) have been superb in key defensive posts for their respective sides.
It was tough to leave out Hamish Hartlett and Jack Hombsch, who have both been important contributors for the Power, while Andrew Mackie’s smarts and experience are an essential piece of the Cats’ backline.
The starting midfielders pick themselves. Brad Ebert is in career-best form, Bernie Vince can be employed as a tagger or win his own ball, while Jared Polec’s raking left foot is valuable on the wing.
A lack of key forwards means Daniel Menzel starts at full-forward. The general consensus was to start Collingwood ruckman Brodie Grundy on the bench, but the chairman pulled rank to have a tall target inside the forward 50. Chad Wingard’s calf injury rules him out, while Travis Varcoe also wasn’t considered.
There was quite a bit of debate about the make-up of the bench. Selecting Trent Dumont ahead of Wayne Milera to add another midfielder instead of a winger/forward was another chairman’s call, while the versatility of NAB AFL Rising Star nominee Ryan Burton gives him the edge over several other contenders.
SELECTORS: Lee Gaskin (chairman), Ben Guthrie, Jennifer Phelan, Marc McGowan, Dinny Navaratnam
VICTORIA
B: Heath Shaw, Robbie Tarrant, Dylan Roberton HB: Easton Wood, Michael Hurley, Sam Docherty C: Josh Kelly, Joel Selwood, Zach Merrett HF: Marcus Bontempelli, Joe Daniher, Dustin Martin F: Toby Greene, Jeremy Cameron, Eddie Betts R: Shane Mumford, Patrick Dangerfield, Rory Sloane INT: Ollie Wines, Gary Ablett, Andrew Gaff, Clayton Oliver UNLUCKY: Marc Murphy, Scott Pendlebury, Tom Lynch (Gold Coast), Matthew Kreuzer, Seb Ross
How can you not love this team? It contains a few players who would have been staples of any Victorian team for years such as Patrick Dangerfield, Joel Selwood, Rory Sloane and Gary Ablett, but also recognises those whose stars have risen over the last season or so, such as Marcus Bontempelli, Toby Greene, Dustin Martin and Robbie Tarrant.
We’ve also picked the bolters, those whose form this year has been too good to ignore. So welcome to the Big V Joe Daniher, Dylan Roberton, Josh Kelly, Zach Merrett and Sam Docherty and brace yourself for the firm E.J. Whitten handshake when you are presented with your first jumper. Clayton Oliver gets in based on potential as much as anything. We want him to be committed to the cause for years to come and what better way than to be around these players.
We’ve structured this side so that Daniher would give Shane Mumford a chop-out in the ruck, which leaves Matty Kreuzer, who is having a cracking season for the Blues, as a very unlucky omission. And when Scott Pendlebury cannot get a game, we must be going OK.
Max Gawn is probably the one player who would have been picked if not for injury.
This team won’t let the Big V down and in the words of the late great E.J., will “stick it right up them”.
SELECTORS: Ashley Browne (chairman), Nick Bowen, Ben Collins, Howard Kotton
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
B: Nathan Wilson, Alex Rance, Brad Sheppard HB: Elliot Yeo, Jeremy McGovern, Jason Johannisen C: Bradley Hill, Patrick Cripps, Mitch Duncan HF: Michael Walters, Lance Franklin, Cam McCarthy F: Jeff Garlett, Paddy Ryder, Charlie Cameron Ruck: Aaron Sandilands, Nat Fyfe, Tom Mitchell  INT: Connor Blakely, Matt Priddis, Daniel Wells, Stephen Hill UNLUCKY: Jack Darling, Sam Menegola, Sam Powell-Pepper
How would this team look without so many injuries? Injuries to key players caused the WA selection panel one or two headaches. Traditionally the Sandgropers’ forward line is the envy of every state, but losing dual Coleman medallist Josh Kennedy to a calf hurts, especially with Jesse Hogan on the comeback from testicular cancer and Rory Lobb battling a groin complaint. Jack Darling has booted 19 goals this year and his forward pressure is elite, but there was plenty of debate about his spot in the line-up and he loses out to Cam McCarthy (14 goals).
Paddy Ryder arguably deserves the No.1 ruck spot, but a reshuffle has landed him at full-forward, while Aaron Sandilands has been rushed back from hamstring tightness to lead a midfield dominated by Dockers.
The engine room boasts a nice blend with ball-winners Nat Fyfe, Patrick Cripps and Tom MItchell complemented by the leg-speed and class of Stephen Hill, brother Bradley, Daniel Wells and even Michael Walters pushing up as a high half-forward. Connor Blakely would tag the opposition’s best onballer.
The backline practically picked itself, although Ben Stratton being unavailable due to a knee complaint was a blow. Alex Rance and Jeremy McGovern would have to be the best full-back and centre half-back combo going around, while Nathan Wilson, Elliot Yeo and Jason Johannisen are walk-up starts.

open to: f/nb ft. sydney taylor (she/her) plot: they've rivals vying for the same guy's attention (syd in her bi era how cute) but sydney's starting to catch herself looking at her more than she ever looks at him and it's throwing off their regularly scheduled programming
Tumblr media
she was beginning to lose sight of the plot, honestly. she'd dropped everything to make it to the bar that evening in an attempt to casually bump into him (could it be considered casual when she knew he went out to the same bar every friday night?), but syd found her eyes scanning the crowd for a face other than his as the bartender mixed her drink. and, unsurprisingly, they were also lurking along the bar. searching. with the straw of her drink tucked between her lips, she sauntered over slowly, watching as they craned to see around crowds of people. "you mean you don't know his exact location? i was under the impression you'd marked him with some kind of gps tag."

to be fair, she let them read the same sentence three times before coming up for air. "sweetheart, you already read that part. are you struggling?? should i stop?" a rhetorical question, of course: they both knew there was no end in sight once syd had set her mind to things.

closed starter for @touchbased ft. sydney taylor
Tumblr media
admittedly, she'd never liked listening to them drone on about their latest tinder conquest, but something in the past few weeks had shifted, making the chore unbearable. "can we, like..... talk about something else? no offense, i think i'm just burned out on stories about your wonderful magic romantic encounter." and she can't even begin to hide how bitter she sounds about it, which she'll agonize over later no doubt.

Air Malta and Qatar Airways to Codeshare
Tumblr media
Qatar Airways has signed a comprehensive codeshare agreement with Air Malta. Tickets are already on sale, with the first codeshare flights to operate from 9 March. The codeshare agreement increases Malta’s connectivity with the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia, by enabling Air Malta’s passengers to travel on Qatar Airways’ flights to Doha and onwards to more than 170 destinations. Qatar Airways’ passengers will also benefit from greater access to Malta and to Air Malta’s extensive Mediterranean network. Codeshare destinations include Cagliari, Palermo and Catania.
Tumblr media
Air Malta Chief Executive Officer, Captain Cliff Chetcuti, said, “This agreement is yet another milestone for Air Malta in its growth strategy and widening of its codesharing network. It was a natural step for us after Qatar Airways launched direct scheduled services to our Islands and the successful cooperation on pilot training. Both Air Malta and Qatar Airways share the same quality service commitment towards their customers and through this codeshare agreement we are enhancing our cooperation to the benefit of our mutual customers.” Qatar Airways began flying to Malta on 4 June 2019 with daily flights in the summer and a four-times weekly service during winter. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said, “When we launched services to Malta in June 2019, I stated this was just the beginning of our long term commitment to boosting trade and tourism between our two countries. This agreement with Air Malta will provide significant benefits to both airlines and thousands of passengers, expanding both of our networks and setting the foundation to further enhance cooperation in other fields in the future.” See latest Travel News, Interviews, Podcasts and other news regarding: Qatar Airways, Air Malta, Codeshare. First Pratt & Whitney GTF Engine Produced in Japan Joins Flight Tests
Tumblr media
The first Pratt & Whitney GTF PW1200G engine assembled in Japan has completed its maiden flight. The flight was completed in the United States at the Mitsubishi Aircraft’s Flight Test Center in Moses Lake, WA, and was performed by the company’s Flight Test Aircraft 1 (FTA1). "This is the first flight with an engine completed in Japan, and represents an important milestone for Mitsubishi Aircraft, our SpaceJet family of aircraft, and the further development of the aerospace cluster in Japan,” said Mitsubishi Aircraft President Hisakazu Mizutani.
Tumblr media
The Mitsubishi Aircraft flight test team validated the basic functions of the engine in normal flight. In subsequent flights, the performance of both the engine and the aircraft were confirmed, and the engine has been cleared. It is now scheduled to join the flight test fleet in the coming weeks. Katsuyuki Shimauchi, the President & CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Aero Engines, Ltd., said, "We are very pleased that the first engine we completed has made its first flight. In addition to manufacturing complete aircraft like Mitsubishi Aircraft, the ability to assemble aircraft engines in Japan is very important for the growth of the domestic aircraft industry as well as the development of a reliable supply chain needed to support future aircraft." Bryan Rivard, PW1200G program director at Pratt & Whitney, said, “Congratulations to the team on this important achievement. Qantas and Jetstar Make Major Changes to Networks
Tumblr media
The Qantas Group has reduced and suspended select flights in response to falling demand caused by the ongoing COVID19 outbreak. The actions were unveiled as part of the group’s half year financial results, where the net profit impact of the COVID19 outbreak was estimated at between $100 million to $150 million for FY20 – a figure softened by lower fuel prices. Reductions of around 5 per cent will be made to Qantas and Jetstar’s flying between Australia and New Zealand. There is no change to other key parts of the Qantas International network, such as the US and UK, which the airline says are unaffected.
Tumblr media
Reductions of around 2 per cent of total Group domestic Australian flying in the second half are being made to reflect market demand. Customers with existing bookings who are impacted by the reductions will be contacted directly and offered alternatives. For most domestic bookings, this will involve slight changes to their departure or arrival times. For international bookings, customers can move flights to another date or connect through another Australian city. Below is a summary of the network changes. Qantas International Qantas International will cut 16 per cent of Asia capacity until at least the end of May, impacting flights from Australia to mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Sydney-Shanghai (the airline’s sole route to mainland China) – will remain suspended. Sydney-Hong Kong – reduced from 14 return flights per week to 7. Brisbane-Hong Kong – reduced from 7 return flights per week to 4. Melbourne-Hong Kong – reduced from 7 return flights per week to 5. Melbourne-Singapore – flights to be operated by Boeing 787s instead of larger Airbus 380s (approx. 250 less seats per flight). Qantas will reduce flights across the Tasman by 6 per cent with cancellations on Sydney-Auckland, Melbourne-Auckland and Brisbane-Christchurch. Jetstar will reduce its Tasman flying by 5 per cent. Jetstar Group Jetstar Group will cut its capacity to Asia by 14 per cent until at least the end of May, impacting flights from Australia to Japan and Thailand, and intra-Asia flights. Cairns-Tokyo (Narita), Cairns-Osaka, Gold Coast-Tokyo (Narita) and Melbourne & Sydney-Phuket will each be reduced by up to two return flights per week. Each of the Jetstar airlines in Asia – Jetstar Asia (Singapore), Jetstar Japan and Jetstar Pacific (Vietnam) – have suspended flights to mainland China and are reducing flights across the region. In particular, Jetstar Asia is reducing total seats by 15 per cent. The group is looking at transferring an A320 aircraft from Jetstar to QantasLink to meet increased demand from the resources sector in Western Australia. Domestic Australia Qantas and Jetstar will reduce total domestic capacity by 2.3 per cent for the second half of the financial year to better match demand. Most of these adjustments have already been published with the balance to be made over the coming days. Cancellations are largely focussed on travel between major capital cities at off-peak times to minimise customer impact. Demand for regional services is largely stable, meaning that recently announced routes will start as planned, including Sydney-Ballina (Byron Bay), Sydney-Mildura, Tamworth-Brisbane and Sydney-Orange as well as additional flights from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island and from Sydney to Bendigo. Jetstar’s new Melbourne-Busselton (Margaret River) flights are also unaffected. Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce said the airlines were taking action now to limit exposure to softening markets. “Coronavirus resulted in the suspension of our flights to mainland China and we’re now seeing some secondary impacts with weaker demand on Hong Kong, Singapore and to a lesser extent Japan. Other key routes, like the US and UK, haven’t been impacted. We’ve also seen some domestic demand weakness emerging, so we’re adjusting Qantas and Jetstar’s capacity in the second half. What’s important is that we have flexibility in how we respond to Coronavirus and how we maintain our strategic position more broadly. We can extend how long the cuts are in place, we can deepen them or we can add seats back in if the demand is there. This is an evolving situation that we’re monitoring closely. We know demand into Asia will rebound. And we’ll be ready to ramp back up when it does. These past few months have been extraordinarily difficult for the tourism industry and we’ve tried to minimise the impact of our capacity reductions as much as possible. About half of Qantas’ domestic cancellations are between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and we’re avoiding any route exits. The capacity we’re taking out is the equivalent of grounding 18 aircraft across Qantas and Jetstar until the end of May, which in turn impacts about 700 full time roles. To avoid job losses we’ll be using leave balances across our workforce of 30,000 and freezing recruitment to help ride this out. We’ll also take advantage of having some aircraft on the ground by bringing forward planned maintenance,” said Mr Joyce. AirAsia to Resume Manila - Saigon Flights; Launch Clark
Tumblr media
AirAsia has confirmed plans to resume flights between Manila and Saigon, and will also increase domestic operations within Philippines. The Saigon service, which will commence on 29 March 2020, will be AirAsia’s 16th international destination from Manila. AirAsia Philippines CEO, Ricky Isla, said, “We are pleased to announce our newest services to Ho Chi Minh city after being held over for eight months. As an ASEAN airline, we aim to increase regional connectivity and to provide more business and leisure opportunities in Vietnam to our AirAsia guests.” To celebrate the resumption of its Saigon flights, AirAsia is offering all-in promotional fares from as low as P1,499 for BIG Loyalty Members from 24 to 27 February 2020, for travel between 29 March 2020 and 30 September 2020.
Tumblr media
AirAsia will also launch a new route from Clark to Tagbilaran, and increase the frequency of multiple existing domestic routes from Clark and Cebu in time for the busy summer period. The Clark-Tagbilaran route complements AirAsia Philippine’s existing route to Bohol from Manila. Flights to and from Bohol now operate at the Panglao International Airport, replacing the old Tagbilaran airport. The pristine beaches of Panglao are just 15 minutes away from the new airport. Ricky Isla said, “Our new route from Clark to Tagbilaran and increased flight frequencies to the top summer destinations in Philippines are in support of the Department of Tourism towards stimulating domestic travel and encouraging everyone to explore our beautiful islands.” To celebrate this new route, AirAsia is offering all-in promotional fares from Clark to Tagbilaran from as low as P990 for BIG Loyalty Members and P1,057 for non-members from 24 February to 15 March 2020 for travel between 29 March to 30 September 2020.
