"darling, have you heard of the wordle?" the word sounds strange in his thick accent, but hades holds up his phone for persephone to see, as visibly excited as he was capable of being. "it's quite fun!"
she could tell him that yes, she knows of wordle and that she's been playing for a week and a half - but why ruin the fun? amusement and delight alit her features instead. don't anyone tell her she isn't the perfect supportive wife.
"did you win the wordle? or do the yellow boxes mean bad things?"
no because in everything Seb has played a romantic character, he’s still fucked up 😭 endings beginnings: frank is a bum druggie, walking red flag who steals his best friends girl. monday: mickey is self absorbed adrenaline junkie with no plan or foresight-he also has a son who he never sees. fresh: steve is a literal cannibal. and now sharper: he’s a con artist/criminal like PLEASE SEB JUST DO A FLUFFY CUTE ROM COM
STOP I'M CRYING 😭🤣 that's so funny to me like i love that he loves playing complex/'questionable' characters but i also just want one really sweet perfect one 😭
Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.
“Monkey Man” was shot and completed in 2021, and Netflix soon after acquired the rights for around $30 million, but it’s been on the shelf for three years and they‘ve all of a sudden decided to get rid of it? What gives?
It turns out, according to an in-the-know source, that it was the portrayal of a fictional right-wing Hindu Nationalist character in the film that worried Netflix about their future dealings in India. And even though they had paid more than twice the production cost, they decided to give the film back to the producers, which is what caused the long delay.
Universal and Peele eventually took a particular liking to the film, so much so that they suggested possible editing changes and delayed the release until what they thought would be the right date.
It’s as simple as that. In the end, it was all about politics and optics for the streaming giant, especially since India has become the current top growth market for Netflix. Co-Founder Reed Hastings has mentioned that a majority of the service's next 100 million subscribers would most likely come from India.
Universal/Jordan Peele's "suggested possible editing changes" in question:
There are so many Dick, Bruce, or Tim kills the Joker fics on AO3, meanwhile Barbara was the one talking about how The Joker should be the exception to the No Kill Rule years before Red Hood Jason even existed.
