I wanted something a little heartier to go with the lentil meatballs I made for our first day of autumn dinner, and this salad seemed perfect.
I made the salad part in full but halved the dressing, using 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa and a full lemon for the juice. Trying to multitask this with the meatballs was no easy feat, but it of course all got done in the end.
As I'd just made my quinoa, there really wasn't a need to add it to the skillet with the kale and other veggie, as all it did was fill up my already limited space and stick to the bottom of the pan.
But other than that, not much else. to share for notes here! The dressing was amazing, and the combination of textures here really just perfect. I would definitely make this again just to have on its own!

Candy Thieves
Premise: One bowl of candy, four children. What could go wrong?
Book: Open Heart (post series) Pairing: Ethan Ramsey x F!MC (Cassie Valentine); feat. OC children Rating/Category: Teen. Fluff. Words: 1,620
A/N: This fic is inspired by an old TikTok ask from @potionsprefect. Submission for @choices-november2022 Day 4 “Candy”
Tumblr media
Anyone watching Noah Hudson Valentine would think the little boy was sitting at the kitchen island engrossed in his coloring book. But he was really watching his Aunt Cassie get all the food ready for their movie night and sleepover party.
It was after Thanksgiving. He and his sisters were spending a few days in Boston while their parents enjoyed “grown-up time.” Noah didn’t mind, though, as Aunt Cassie made the best snacks!
He smiled when she started humming along to a song playing on the speaker as she finished plating the brownies they had baked earlier. He watched his aunt set a platter of Mozza sticks—his favorite—on the counter and cover it. Next, she placed a tray of mini pepperoni pizzas into the oven to bake.
Everything smelled so good, and he couldn’t wait to dig in!
Eloise Ramsey should have been focused on the game of I Spy she was playing with her sister and her cousin Belle. But her eyes were locked on her mother and the bag of Halloween candy in her hand. The same bag she and Sophie weren’t allowed to touch because Daddy said they had eaten too much candy already.
She nudged Sophie and nodded towards the kitchen when her sister shot her an annoyed look at being interrupted. At the sight of candy, Sophie’s eyes and mouth went wide and round. The twins shared a calculating glance and then shook their cousin’s arm.
“Belle, look,” Eloise whispered in her ear.
“Wow,” Belle said, mouth open as she followed her cousin’s gaze. “Is that all for us?”
“I hope so!” Sophie placed her hand on her sister’s arm and added in a hushed voice. “Do you think there are any Sour Patch gummies, Eloise?”
“I hope there are pop rocks,” Eloise said wistfully.
“I like Airheads,” Belle sighed. “Especially the pink ones.”
The game was forgotten as three pairs of eyes stayed glued to the happenings in the kitchen. An idea began to form in Eloise’s mind, and she tugged her sister and cousin close.
Ethan Ramsey softly closed the bedroom door behind him and just stood there with a slightly bewildered expression. Given the number of children currently in residence, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, which was unnerving.
He followed the scents to the kitchen, where he found Noah, head down, silently coloring. At the same time, his wife discarded empty wrappers and cleared the counter. The girls were on the other side of the living room, whispering in each other’s ears.
“Is there anything healthy on the menu, Rookie?” He teased. “Kale chips might be a good addition, something green.”
Cassie met Ethan’s eyes across the counter and grinned wickedly.
“We have green, babe. See?” She bit into a green gummy worm and shared a laughing look with Noah, who giggled at her exaggerated chomping sounds.
Well used to her ways, Ethan just shook his head in amused exasperation.
Dressed casually in a black shirt and jeans, his hair slightly messy, Cassie thought he looked good enough to eat. Catching his eye, she winked salaciously and licked her lips, enjoying the blush that spread across his cheekbones.
“Amelia is finally asleep,” he said, sputtering and looking around to ensure the children were still occupied.
“Good to know,” Cassie said all too innocently.
He stretched his arms and awkwardly dropped them when he saw her eyes tracking his every movement. “Do you need any help here?”
“No, I’m almost done,” Cassie said. She threw a narrow-eyed look across the room where Eloise, Sophie and Belle were huddled, heads together. “They’re planning something. I can feel it.”
“They’re only four, Cassie,” Ethan scoffed. “Hardly old enough to plan heists.”
“Almost five, and they’re already sneaky,” she countered. “Plus, they’re your daughters, Nighthawk.”
“I seem to recall you and your friends executing a heist or two back in the day,” Ethan grumbled.
“Exactly!” Cassie exclaimed. “Given their genes, I’d be shocked if they don’t grow up as troublemakers.”
She let it go when Ethan shrugged. “Noah, honey, it’s almost time to eat. Why don’t you put away your stuff and wash your hands?”
Unfailingly polite, Noah packed the thick coloring book and box of crayons in his backpack. He jumped off the stool and ran down the hallway to do as she asked.
She finished setting up their meal and turned away to check the pizzas in the oven.
“Ethan, if you’re free now, can you set up the family room for the movie?”
“Sure,” he said, yanking her back to plant a swift kiss on her lips and pat her butt before heading upstairs.
The girls took both movie nights and sleepovers very seriously. Lately, they’d started wanting everything just so. Clearly, they’d inherited Cassie’s stubbornness, he thought.
He was adjusting cushions and sleeping bags when he suddenly grinned. The family room was temporarily a kids-free zone since the little humans were preoccupied downstairs. He smirked at the thought of making out with his wife in the relative privacy upstairs while they had the chance.
Before he could talk himself out of it, he leaned over the railing and called down. “Cassie, can you please come up for a moment? I need your help.”
“Coming!” Cassie called back.
She squinted at the children, with Noah now joining the girls. A considering look entered her eyes as she glanced at the food on the counter and then back at her little troublemakers.
“All right, everyone, listen up.” She waited for the children to pay attention before continuing. “I’m heading upstairs to help set up. Candy is for movie night, so no foraging. You have to wait until I’m back.”
She lifted two fingers, pointing at her eyes and then pointed them at her girls. “That goes especially for you two. I might be upstairs, but remember, Mommy has X-ray vision. So, behave.”
Alone, at last, Eloise impatiently waited just in case her parents came back down or checked in by hanging over the railing. They were sneaky like that, she thought.
When it looked like they were safe, she signaled Sophie and Belle. “Operation Candy Grab is a go!”
Sophie quickly rose from the floor to join her sister, but Belle hesitated. “Are you sure about this, Eloise? What if we get into trouble?”
“What’s going on?” Noah asked, startled at the sudden movement.
“We want candy!” Eloise exclaimed.
“And we’re taking it,” Sophie nodded, folding her arms across her front, mimicking her sister’s pose. “Belle, are you in or out?”
Noah stood up too. “We have to wait,” he said hesitantly, his need for candy warring with an emerging sense of responsibility.
He still remembered feeling like he was on cloud nine the first time his dad told him he was a big brother, the eldest. And that he was responsible for his little sisters and cousins when the grown-ups were busy.
“Aunt Cassie said we’re not allowed to eat candy until she says so,” he said, rushing to stand in front of the kitchen island and spreading his arms wide.
“By the time she finds out, it’ll be too late,” Eloise said defiantly, stalking toward him.
“Come on, Belle,” Sophie insisted, recognizing the signs of her cousin almost ready to give in. “I spy Airheads in the bowl. Pink ones, your favorite.”
“Okay!” Belle said eagerly, her tongue salivating at the thought of biting into the strawberry-flavored taffy.
“Belle, you’re the lookout,” Eloise pointed to the staircase.
When Noah tried to stop her, Eloise tilted her head back with a pleading look. “Come on, Noah. Don’t you like candy? I saw Mommy pour Nerds earlier. The orange ones that you like so much….”
Meanwhile, Sophie sneaked up behind Noah and tried to grab some candy, but the counter was too high and the bowl too far. Determined, she looked around for the stepping stool her mommy used when she and Eloise helped her in the kitchen.
She glanced at Belle and got the thumbs-up sign that the coast was still clear while Eloise continued to distract Noah. Sophie spied the stool tucked beside the fridge and dragged it across the floor. The scraping sound was loud, and she watched Noah’s head start to turn.
She quickly hopped on the stool and tugged the bowl towards herself. It was heavy, and her small hands lost their grip. The bowl tipped over on the counter, spilling all the candy before it rolled over the edge with a loud crash.
Eloise and Belle groaned as they heard the heavy steps rushing above their heads.
“What’s going on down there?” Daddy sounded angry, while Mommy’s voice was worried as she called out, “Is everyone okay?”
Sophie felt tears prick her eyes and started wailing when she heard her parents calling as they ran down the stairs. Her crying set off Belle and Eloise.
Feeling scared as the grown-ups rushed in, Noah covered his ears with his hands against the noise of all three girls bawling. Tears tracked down his cheeks at the thought of getting into trouble.
Cassie stopped as soon as the kitchen came into view. Sophie was sobbing as if she’d lost her best friend. Gummy bears were sticking to her dress and hair, while the rest of the candy was scattered everywhere. The bowl she’d filled earlier was lying on the floor, cracked and split open like a watermelon.
She glanced at a shocked Ethan, who stood beside her and took in the scene. He silently cursed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
Cassie met his pained look and arched her eyebrow. “What were you saying earlier about them being too young to plan heists?”

Breaking Up is Hard to Do: A Guide on How to Get Over Someone
Breaking up is like trying to fold a fitted sheet - tricky, frustrating, and almost impossible to do gracefully. But, just like the sheet-folding conundrum, getting over someone is a skill worth mastering. In this blog, we're going to take a slightly irreverent approach to guide you through the process of moving on from a past relationship.
Embrace Your Inner Emotional Wreck
Let's face it; you're a beautiful mess right now. So, why not embrace it? Cry over spilled milk, indulge in an entire pint of ice cream, and listen to the cheesiest breakup songs you can find. After all, you're not officially heartbroken until you've belted out a Taylor Swift song in your underwear.
Retail Therapy (With a Twist)
Retail therapy is a classic, but let's upgrade it a bit. Instead of drowning your sorrows in a mountain of shoes, buy something that screams "I'm moving on!" How about that cooking class you've always wanted to take? Or perhaps skydiving because plummeting towards the Earth feels strangely liberating.
Unfriend, Unfollow, Un-everything
In the digital age, getting over someone means hitting that "Unfriend" button harder than Thor's hammer. Unfriend, unfollow, and block if necessary. You're not erasing history; you're creating a clean slate for your future. Plus, now you won't have to see their endless posts about their newfound love for kale smoothies.
Plan a World Domination Strategy
Nothing says "I'm over you" like becoming the next genius billionaire supervillain. Jokes aside, channel your energy into a new hobby or career goal. Be the best version of yourself, and someday, your ex will regret ever letting you go. Muahaha!
Laugh Till You Cry, or Cry Till You Laugh
Laughter is the best medicine, but so are tears sometimes. Call up your funniest friend for a night of stand-up comedy or binge-watch a comedy series that has you laughing so hard you forget why you were sad in the first place. And if you feel like crying, don't hold back. Sometimes a good sob is the ultimate catharsis.
The "Ex Box" Ritual
This one's for the sentimental souls. Collect all the mementos from your past relationship, put them in a box, and then light the box on fire. Symbolic, dramatic, and oh-so-satisfying. Just remember to do it safely and legally!
Make a Rebound Resolution
We've all heard of New Year's resolutions, but how about a Rebound Resolution? Promise yourself that your next relationship will be even better. You've learned, you've grown, and you're now armed with a newfound wisdom about love and life. It's like a romantic superhero origin story!
Getting over someone is no small feat, but with a dash of humor and a sprinkle of resilience, you'll come out on the other side stronger and wiser. Remember, breaking up is just one chapter in your epic life story. So, chin up, darling. Your next adventure awaits, and it's going to be a blockbuster hit!

❝Is there a God?❞ Kale asks in earnest.
Tarot Starters ( Accepting ) || @iinauras feat. Kale
"Well. Not just 'a'."
Oh this is gonna be a doozy of a conversation.
"Gods. Plural. There's all the ones we know...and even ones we don't. Some of them...we could even possibly call extraterrestrial. The one I work with, Origa, she's....honestly I'm not even sure how to explain it. She's an observer of the timelines. Not someone that could physically manifest on this Earth, but you could meet her in your dreams. Or...you could astral project and meet her in her own Dreamscape. There are so many types of deities out there. To the point I wonder how many times humanity's been wiped out and reborn because they weren't happy with us. For the record, I essentially stopped a version of Armageddon and Judgment Day from happening. You're welcome."

A Daily Dose of Green Goodness: My Experience with TonicGreens
Living a busy life often means neglecting our health. Between work, errands, and social commitments, fitting in a perfectly balanced diet can feel like an impossible feat. That's where I found TonicGreens – a daily supplement promising to fill nutritional gaps with a powerful blend of greens and essential nutrients. Skeptical at first, I decided to give it a try, and let me tell you, it's been a surprisingly positive experience.
Tumblr media
Nature's Powerhouse in a Scoop
TonicGreens isn't your average one-ingredient supplement. This powerhouse formula boasts a diverse blend of over 50 superfoods, including leafy greens, fruits, vegetables, and prebiotics. We're talking about things like kale, known for its rich vitamin and mineral content, and spirulina, packed with protein and antioxidants. The inclusion of digestive enzymes and probiotics further piqued my interest, as a healthy gut is crucial for optimal nutrient absorption. Tonic Greens felt like a comprehensive approach to whole-body wellness, addressing more than just my daily fruit and veg intake.
Feeling the Green Goodness from Within
The effects of TonicGreens became apparent within a couple of weeks. The afternoon slump I used to experience was replaced by a sustained energy boost. I found myself needing less coffee and more focused throughout the day. While it's difficult to pinpoint the exact cause, I also noticed an improvement in my digestion. This newfound vitality and overall sense of well-being made me a believer in the power of Tonic Greens.
More Than Just a Supplement: A Lifestyle Shift
Tonic Greens has become more than just a daily supplement; it's a gentle nudge towards a healthier lifestyle. The convenience of a single scoop each morning encourages me to prioritize my health, even on busy days. Plus, the focus on natural ingredients has inspired me to explore healthier food choices to complement the benefits of TonicGreens. It's been a positive shift that's impacting my overall well-being.
Transparency and Quality: Building Trust
TonicGreens prioritizes transparency. The company clearly lists all ingredients on their website, allowing you to make informed decisions. Additionally, their commitment to quality control, with products manufactured in facilities adhering to strict standards, puts my mind at ease.
Is TonicGreens Right for You?
Everyone's body is different, but for me, TonicGreens has been a game-changer. If you're looking for a convenient and effective way to boost your energy levels, support your gut health, and bridge nutritional gaps, then TonicGreens is definitely worth considering. Consulting with your doctor before starting any new supplements is always a good idea. However, for me, TonicGreens has been a safe and effective way to add a daily dose of green goodness to my routine and feel my best from the inside out.

A Daily Dose of Green Goodness: My TonicGreens Experience
Tumblr media
Maintaining a healthy diet can be a constant battle, especially with our busy lifestyles. Fitting in all the recommended fruits and vegetables can feel like an impossible feat. That's why I decided to try TonicGreens, a green superfood powder that promises to deliver a concentrated dose of essential nutrients in a convenient and delicious way. Here's how TonicGreens has become a staple in my daily routine.
Packing a Punch of Powerful Greens
One scoop of TonicGreens boasts a blend of nutrient-rich greens like kale, spinach, spirulina, and chlorella. These powerhouses are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, all vital for optimal health. Since incorporating TonicGreens into my morning smoothie, I feel like I'm giving my body the essential building blocks it needs to thrive.
Enhanced Energy Levels and Gut Health
One of the most noticeable changes I've experienced since taking TonicGreens is a boost in energy levels. The prebiotics and probiotics in the formula seem to have a positive impact on my gut health, which can often be linked to overall energy levels. I no longer experience those afternoon slumps that used to drag me down. I feel energized throughout the day, allowing me to be more productive and engaged in all aspects of my life.
Immune System Support and a Natural Detox
TonicGreens is packed with antioxidants, which are known to support the immune system. While I can't definitively say it's prevented me from getting sick altogether, I do feel like I've been recovering from minor illnesses quicker since taking it. Additionally, the detoxifying properties of the greens in the blend leave me feeling lighter and more revitalized.
Easy to Mix and Surprisingly Delicious
I was initially apprehensive about the taste, fearing a green powder would be difficult to stomach. However, TonicGreens blends surprisingly well into my morning smoothie. I usually mix it with banana, almond milk, and a handful of berries for a delicious and nutritious drink. The slight grassy taste from the greens is easily masked by the sweetness of the fruit and the creaminess of the almond milk.
A Convenient Way to Boost Your Diet
TonicGreens has become an essential part of my daily wellness routine. It's a convenient and delicious way to ensure I'm getting a good dose of greens, even on those busy days when preparing a well-rounded meal feels like a challenge. With its focus on natural ingredients and its commitment to providing a concentrated source of essential nutrients, TonicGreens has become a valuable tool in my journey towards a healthier and more vibrant life. While it's always best to consult with your doctor before starting any new supplement, I highly recommend giving TonicGreens a try if you're looking for a way to easily boost your daily intake of greens.pen_sparktunesharemore_vert
It's important to note that everyone's body reacts differently to supplements. While Prostadine worked wonders for me, it might not produce the same results for everyone. Consulting your doctor before starting any new supplement is always advisable.
However, if you're looking for a natural solution to address prostate-related issues, I highly recommend giving Prostadine a try. It has significantly improved my quality of life, and it might just do the same for you.pen_sparktunesharemore_vert

February Feats 2024
Tumblr media
Above Photo: NYC, February 2024
Welcome to March! You’re well aware of how much I love this month. Will I overdo it and be left a shell of a person come April 1st? Most likely, but there’s nothing that can be done about that! Here’s what went down last month.
The best tweets of the month can be found over here.
I kept up with my weekly Winter Wednesdays series.
I finally finished the Mel Brooks memoir I’ve been reading for months.
If this coat (below) was under $100, then I would’ve had no choice but to buy it.
Tumblr media
Above Photo: Bury me at the Nordstrom flagship
God, I love a small batch cookie recipe.
People won’t shut up about this New York Times marry-me chicken recipe but I absolutely would reject that proposal. I made it and it was FINE at best. And more recently, I made a cauliflower soup of theirs and it was bland as hell! I definitely need to take a step back from their recipes. Maybe the food styling is what’s tricking me? Gorgeous looking food doesn’t always taste amazing. There’s a lesson there??
I made this brioche berry bread pudding that was delicious. Something feels very wrong about using strawberries in February, but the Grand Marnier soak really helped the flavour.
Tumblr media
Above Photo: Brioche berry bread pudding
I can’t stop wearing these Aerie brown stockings.
Found a new coffee shop that I’m loving - Sonbobs in Astoria.
We bought Baby Dog a ramp to get on and off our bed and it’s been a huge help. Sometimes she’ll just leap off into the pillows alongside it, so it may take some time for her to trust this new inanimate object in her life.
Tumblr media
Above Photo: Baby Dog begrudgingly on her new ramp
I tried out a colour corrector from Huda because the internet told me to and it did absolutely nothing different to my face hahah?? Sometimes I seem smart and other times I do stuff like this.
Nathan and I saw the play An Enemy Of The People with Jeremy Strong (from Succession) and Michael Imperioli (from The Sopranos & The White Lotus) and it was great! Absolutely love the Circle in the Square theatre. $40 tickets straight from the box office can’t be beat.
Tumblr media
The winter kale salad at Uva Next Door on the Upper East Side was top tier.
The patty melt at Daily Provisions? Wow. Makes zero sense that a coffee shop has that good a sandwich.
I’ve finally learned my lesson and I’ve stopped using third-party websites for booking travel. Took me decades to learn this lesson.
Also, I’m sure no one but me buys Visa gift cards - but just incase, stay very far away from the brand Vanilla. I’ve had so many issues with money that was loaded improperly and their customer service is nonexistent.
Some things I watched:
Sometimes I Think About Dying: so great! Our friend Dave does such a great job in it.
Two Weeks Notice and The Wedding Date (combining them because they don’t deserve individual billing): WOOF. Why do I do this to myself when I have a list full of actually watchable movies?
If Lucy Fell: an old Sarah Jessica Parker movie? Course I’d watch that. It actually wouldn’t have been so terrible if the main guy wasn’t such an awful actor. He wrote, directed and starred in it, which was the wrong decision.
Waiting To Exhale: such a great rewatch.
Once Upon A Crime: perfect rewatch. It’s baffling that this movie did so bad at the box office.
New season of Curb: ugh. I don’t want to be mean, but I really hate this show now. The storylines are so tired and it really didn’t need to come back at all. (Richard Lewis will remain the best thing about the whole show.)
Some things I’m looking forward to this month: taking Baby Dog to Niagara Falls, I really want to try the vodka chicken parm from Compton’s in Astoria, excited to spend some time with my brother + family visiting from Scotland and there are so many birthday cakes I get to make for other people this month.
If you’ve got any interest in reading last month’s roundup, you can read what went on in January over here.

Alright lets talk about Kale.
So dis man...lets be very accurate and say he's very attractive but because he spends so much time in seclusion with only a corrupted black dragon who mocks him as a friend, he doesn't care much about his apperance. He's a blond bitch, born with green eyes but as he accomplished the shadow they steadily turned a very dark purple, which they are now. Don't let me forget I settled on green eyes ok? He's kind of a slob, very shy, prefers the company of books, but can be absolutely brutal and aggressive when he needs to be. Part of the consequences of being raised by a Black Dragon who enjoys murder and malding.
Kale is exceptional and disembowling, and masters and art of punching throw a man with a shade of a fist. No actual damage but exceptional pain comes from this manuever which amuses him. He's not one for torture, the dude isn't evil, but he can be...sadistic. Around Legion, Kale was captured by the Legion who tore him apart while still alive and put him back together. They planned on killing him, but Kale escaped into the Void (It's a plane of reality that the void inhabits around Azeroth and any planet they infest.) and stayed there for months until he was strong enough to force his way back in the physical plane. This left him EXTREMELY fucked up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Top is Kale's drake form before the Legion...bottom is Kale's drake form AFTEr the Legion.
Around the Rise of Aszhara patch, Kale steals power from N'Zoth by force which gives him a ton of strength and power and takes away his constant agony. (Because of the way they put him back together, he's in near constant pain. but it came with some benefits which I will discuss.) But then Wrathion saunters into his life as more than just an antagonist. The two really hated each other; Wrathion hated him, Kale merely disliked him, until...they both started feeling something more. Kale a rude, near sadistic lust that gradually became love and Wrathion a need for companionship, a deep attraction and need to be close. He was DEEPLY attracted to Kale's power. (Kale is not a mary sue, dude has major consequences for his power and his feats are few and far between, but yes he's powerful.) And his sadism, which only grows stronger. I have a badly written fic on their burgeoning love that I'm rewriting slowly.
Anyways this void power is stolen back by Xanesh during that event where you wander around BWD with Wrathion and Kale is rescued by his future lover and the two manage to escape.
Somehow they end up in the steam pools of Feralas? IDK why I wrote that but I like it as a settling for their romance so I keep it. And Kale, angry, shamed, riddled with absolute agony...is not kind to Wrathion, who despite the pain of the encounter, loved every second of it. It's this double-feeling dynamic the two share at first that intrigues me. Wrathion HATES that he feels this way towards Kale but can't help it. He has a need for companionship, a need to be touched and held and desired that he's NEVER felt. Kale is disturbed by how attracted he is to Wrathion, but also loves the pleasure he gets from the man. (Kale has basically been celibate up until this point, he's never been a sexual man. He has a son and that's all the action he's ever really wanted, but then again, he's a gay man, so his encounter with a woman was just not his thing.)
Worth noting my lore is deeply strung out. So Wrathion is TWENTY-THREE when and Kale sleep together for the first time and Kale is FIFTY-FIVE. Still a major age difference but much better than Wrathion's actual age at the time of SIX. I feel I should point that out.
It's not cuddly mushy wushy, it's not sweet, it's toxic and cruel but they eventually figure it out and become a great power couple and I love it. Kale is the happiest he's ever been with this dragon and Wrathion loves someone who actually...desires, loves and challenges him.
Oh yeah Wrathion gives a portion of his power to Kale every so often. (It comes back.) which results in Kale returning to how he would be withouts the Legion's tampering, free of pain. BUT the oddities of his remaking remain. Which means his wrists pronate in strange ways and allow him to cling to walls upside down, something he uses to his advantage. (As a drake... this old man is not climbing rock faces in his humanoid form.)

Barapullah Bridge: A Modern Marvel Connecting Delhi's Landscape
Barapullah Bridge, a contemporary architectural wonder in the heart of Delhi, is more than just a means of transportation. This elevated structure not only connects two parts of the city but also stands as a testament to modern engineering and urban development. In this article, we will delve into the fascinating history, engineering brilliance, and significance of the Barapullah Bridge in the vibrant city of Delhi.
Historical Roots
Barapullah Bridge derives its name from the Persian term "Bara" meaning twelve and "pul" meaning bridge. The name originates from the 12 piers that support the bridge structure. Its first iteration dates back to the times of Emperor Jahangir in the early 17th century. During his reign, a causeway was constructed across the Yamuna River to connect the new capital city of Shahjahanabad (present-day Old Delhi) with the older city of Jahanpanah.
The Modern Avatar
Fast forward to the 21st century, the present Barapullah Bridge was inaugurated in 2008. It's a modern engineering marvel, aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving connectivity in the city. Pick a Kiss Any Kiss ( Accepting ) || @iinauras feat. Kale 29. A kiss to the back of the hand
Relationships are funny because they make you think about things you normally usually wouldn't. Something as simple as holding someone else's hand ends up bring up the question: what else have these hands done?
She thinks about Kale, and about what she knows about him. Playing video games. Attempting to cook. Completing tasks at his job. Pointing in the air as he sings (horribly) to his favorite songs.
Then she thinks about him and what she doesn't know. What secrets do his hands hold? What things has he done that maybe he's not proud of? Do they sit and wait patiently for what awaits of the future, or do they tremble with uncertainty? Do they clench when he has those nightmares? Reach out for some sort of hope that something reaches back?
She finds her grip on his hand tighten. It doesn't go unnoticed. He brings her hand to his lips and kisses the back of it, giving her that signature Kale grin he usually had plastered on his face.
She can't help but smile back.
Because no matter the story of those hands she's happy it's holding hers in this moment.

Hiii kyuu here, I submitted hoyoung's app earlier today but I would already like to make an amendment & add one line under the "additional info" section (pls don't ask me wtf goes on in maplestory it's a lot). Sorry & thank u guys sm 🙏
-This Hoyoung is NOT The Adversary (the player character's role in the game). He's just another member of the Maple Alliance. Because of this, she's more of a background character in the main story arcs, helping out wherever Alliance troops would be, either witnessing The Adversary's feats or hearing about them secondhand. But I'm gonna say he played a more active role in the Odium and Shangri-la arcs given the fact that Tai Yu, Kaling, and Baekyun play major roles there and they are all characters closely associated with Hoyoung.
hi kyuu! no problem, we'll add that to your app for you! -mod rallentando 🦉
