“Oh dear, shall I move a bit closer? You’re shivering quite a bit.”

You say nothing, too busy lamenting over the rain that had halted your tent setup. At least Jade had already built his—if he hadn’t, you two surely would have been soaked and freezing by now. You feel Jade drape a coat over your shoulders, and you grab at the material gratefully.

“My my, it seems the rain is rather nasty. It’s a shame you were out to get firewood and didn’t have the time to set up your own tent.” Jade hums, opening the flap of the tent to look outside.

“Yeah. I hope it clears up soon.” you sigh, slumping over.

“While we’re here, we might as well make the most of it, don’t you think?” he turns to you with a smirk and a glint in his eye that spells trouble.

“What do you want to do then?” you ask, getting on your knees and searching around the tent for a game or something he might want to play.

“Surely you aren’t that dense, yes?” he teases, and before you get out a retort he’s basically on top of you.

His grin is alarming and you flinch back from the sharpened teeth, but it isn’t like he hasn’t done this before.

“You must learn to take a hint, dear Prefect.” Jade coos, cupping your cheek tenderly, “Lest I decide to make my advances far more forward.”

Advances?

“Oh.” you say dumbly, as it's about the only thing you can even think of saying when he’s this close to your face.

His black hair tickles your cheek as he sinks into you, nuzzling your neck.

“So then.” he whispers, “How about a game of cards?”

i used to freehand comics all the time as a child and since the part i liked was the drawing part i would just draw panel after panel because i didn't want to stop drawing to think about icky icky words, plus the story TOTALLY still made perfect sense! to me! and noone else, but 'whoooo caaaaares omgggg its not like comics and sequantial art are a communicative meeediummmm lmaoooooo'. i spent my entire childhood telling myself stuff like "oh pfft I know this story by heart- ill SIMPLY remember the dialogue and write it later" ...and. I can't help but admire baby maiora's (call that a minora ba tm tsk) fucking audacity? hubris? confident wrongness? kid couldn't even remember to finish the comics in the first place? INCREDIBLE levels of unearned self assurance, wish that were me, genuinely- what an icon!!! anyway i think i have forever cursed myself

Sae would turn around in bed. There was an owl plushie (it definitely doesnt look like rin and I definitely didnt add this in bcuz I want their relationship to heal like me and my irl brothers is :3). He was probably gonna punch it or hug it later.
