A/N: hello and welcome to my take on the all about bakugou bnharem collab! this is a potential intense read so please heed all warnings!
this is a continuation of quarantine that i wrote last year for a harem collab. it’s not required to read in order to read this story but feel free to read if you’re interested!

over a year had passed since the last first and last time he had ever brought the knife up. you had asked him plenty, showing him different blades, trying to get him wound up, but he always pushed the thought away, fucked you into submission, or if you were being particularly relentless, let you fuck him. it kept you at bay for awhile but you both knew that things wouldn’t stay quiet forever.

“Katsuki, what’s wrong?” you finally asked, not one to beat around the bush.
“nothing’s wrong babe, just tired, you know i’ve been working a lot,” he brushed off, going to stand up.
you didn’t give him the chance though, yanking his hand so that he was pulled forward, slamming into the table.

he sat down with a sigh, not sure of where to begin or even if he had the strength to say anything to you, but before he could, he heard your voice, unusually meek, ask “was it something i did?”
his hand tightened around your own before he realized he was squeezing harshly, quickly letting go and rubbing his fingers as if he had burned you, which he might as well have with the way you recoiled at his actions.
“Katsuki, please, if there’s something i did, at least tell me. i’m going crazy watching you run away from me without me even knowing what’s going on.”
fists clenching under the table, he huffed, attempting to collect his thoughts once more. he knew now that there was no running from this, no more hiding his feelings or wallowing in his own despair and pity.
“i’m afraid of hurting you. during sex, especially. with the knife kink, ya know?”

quickly, you scrambled into the bedroom, eager to see what Bakugou would think but when you peeked your head inside the room, it was dark. you frowned before realizing he had already sat down at his desk, tolling away at the mounds of papers he had to go through. sighing, you gently placed the blade down on the dresser, forgetting about it as the day went on.
it was only when you were in the shower later that evening, ready for bed, that you remembered you didn’t put it away. you hurried to finish, barely throwing a towel on yourself before whipping the door open only to see he had already spotted the object.
Bakugou was twirling it in his hands, testing the weight, prodding at the tip with his fingers, letting out a sharp hiss when the blade nicked his finger.

The headlines constantly named the Jigsaw Killer, Billy. The somewhat eerie little doll that had a face as white as a Calla Lily with spirals on it’s cheeks as red as the blood that was shed during the tests. Billy was always dressed in a little black suit with a red bowtie and he was (most of the time) situated on a squeaky battered tricycle. Attached was always a tape that read “play me” and when the subjects did, a chilling voice— one that could make even the world's worst predators shiver with terror— would echo around the room.
Everyone knew that a doll clearly wasn’t responsible, yet they gave it the name Billy in hopes to somewhat humanise the face that instilled panic— they did not want to live in fear.
It was the only face behind the killings.
But this time, there was a different subject stuck in the test and Billy had made sure there was no way for them to survive.
“How are you scared of heights? You’re practically a giant yourself!”
“Just because I’m tall doesn’t mean I can’t be scared of heights Y/Nie.”
You had no idea how long had passed since Taehyung had turned up at the garage, you were too busy chatting away squeezed into the kitchen while your Dad, Yoongi and Hobi worked on the cars in the shop. If anyone could hear you both, they would think you’d known eachother since childhood— the playful jokes and light touches exaggerated that.
You’d only known him for a few hours really, if you added the time spent with him on the first day and now. It hadn’t seemed like all those weeks ago that you first met, he had a familiar presence, as though you had known him for years compared to the hours.
“I just wouldn’t imagine you to be scared of anything Taehyung… you seem so confident and fearless.”
You saw the way Taehyung looked at you. His eyes flashed with understanding.
“I did have my fears back then, much like yours.”
“What do you mean?” you had a rough idea on what he meant but you needed him to voice it.
A deep inhale and the words flowed from his lips before he could stop it, “The fear of living. I had been through some stuff you know, growing up. My mum was working a lot and my dad was an alcoholic, he was so fucking possessive and wouldn’t let her go anywhere without kicking off. It was a fucking shitshow and so toxic. This one time though, I’d pretended that I’d gone to school and waited outside the front door. It didn’t take long before I heard shit getting smashed and my dad shouting.” Taehyung was telling the truth only, he left out the part where he was also as possessive, if not more, than his father. Well, let's say… obsessive. “I just ran in the house and saw my dad towering over my mum and I don’t remember what happened but, I do remember my mum crying and my dad disappeared.”
Now Taehyung was lying through his teeth. He remembered clearly, almost like it was yesterday. He smashed the nearest bottle, pulled his mother away from the monster that scared her and stabbed him. Not just once, not twice but thirty-seven times. Hence the thirty seven tattoo on the palm of his right hand (the one he’d actually killed his father with). There was only Taehyung who knew what it meant, he counted every single time the broken glass pierced his father’s body, he counted with a smile on his face and a chuckle in his throat.
You were at a loss for words. Your mouth gaped in shock, eyes wide and your brain scrambled for the right thing to say. You reached over and grabbed his hand, interlacing your fingers. His thumb running back and forth along your hand. “I’m sorry, I can’t imagine what that must’ve been like.” There was no way you could relate, your mother and father were happy and in love. They had the ideal relationship, one you wished for yourself. You could empathise though.
“You don’t need to be sorry baby, it’s in the past and I’ve moved on from it. I was like you though, poisoned by the roots that keep you on the ground even though you wanted nothing more than to break free and be no longer.” A silence fell over you both before Taehyung uttered, “I wasn’t successful with my attempt so now I’m here to help you.”
Warmth spread throughout your body, a smile graced your features as you no longer felt alone.
You had a completely different idea to what those words actually meant.
It was nearing the evening when Taehyung’s car had been fixed. Yoongi popped his head in the kitchen to tell him but stopped himself so as to not interrupt the scene before him. You were laughing along to whatever Taehyung was babbling about with your hand resting on his bicep, with that look in your eyes that he hadn’t seen for years. Yoongi felt himself smile as he saw you hanging onto Taehyung's every word.
For the first time in forever, you looked alive.
Yoongi cleared his throat which drew yours and Taehyung’s attention, “Sorry to interrupt guys. We’ve finished with your car so whenever you’re ready we’ll be outside.” The infamous gummy smile overtook his features, you felt yourself beam in return.
“Thanks man! I’ll be like, five minutes.”
Yoongi nodded his head in reply and swiftly left the room.
You’d taken Tae’s hand into yours, playing with the array of rings that occupied his fingers. Solemn thoughts overtook, am I not gonna see him again? Was this, whatever this is, over before it had even begun? Your eyes stayed on his hand as you turned it over and traced your finger over the inked ‘thirty seven’ on his palm. “What does this mean?”
Taehyung didn’t think twice before he practically beamed out, “It’s my lucky number.”
The difference was, it wasn’t really his lucky number… although he did see it that way. It was the number that had stayed with him. It was something he was proud of, whenever he looked at the hand that killed his father, his chest filled with pride and a joyous feeling overtook his senses. It was his first murder. Something he relished in and thus, created the onslaught of Jigsaw killings. He targeted a certain type— those whose sins would lock them up forever if they were ever found out. Racists, murderers, rapists, drug dealers, con-men. Authoritative figures who abused their power. He even went as far as subjecting suicidal people.
You see, things aren’t sequential. Good doesn’t lead to good, nor bad to bad. People who steal, don’t get caught, they live the good life. Others lie, cheat and get elected.
Some people would call it karma but Taehyung, he called it justice.
He’d started this with one thing on his mind— those that don’t appreciate life do not deserve it.
Whenever a serial killer was on the loose, the press did what they always did. They gave them a nickname. While the public had named the doll Billy. The actual killer was named ‘Jigsaw’.
This stemmed from the jigsaw piece that was cut from the victims skin, no one knew why he was doing it or what it even stood for.
It did have a meaning although unknown to the public.
The jigsaw piece that was cut from the subjects was only ever meant to be a symbol that that subject was missing something. A vital piece of the human puzzle. The survival instinct.
After all, until a person is faced with death, it’s impossible to tell whether they have what it takes to survive.
Across town an underground abandoned warehouse, was where the next subject had found themselves.
They were suspended in the air, their feet merely dangling above the ground. The putrid smell of death lingered in every crevice, the sound of rats scurrying along the concrete floor filled their ears just as they began to stir awake.
A pain in their ribs was the overwhelming factor to them finally coming around. When they groggily opened their eyes, they were paralised with fear due to the scene in front of them.
A doll sat a few feet ahead, perched upon a tricycle. Adorned with a black suit and a red bowtie. A slow red light flashed in his eyes.
Billy.
Before the subject could even register how, when or why they found themselves trapped in a test, footsteps echoed behind them. The subject called out, “Help! Please, somebody help! I shouldn’t be here!”
A tsk reached their ears, as a disembodied voice replied, “Trust me, no one can hear you. Scream all you like. You’d just be wasting your breath, you may as well cherish it before it's gone.”
With hairs stood on end, the subject stilled. “What do you want from me?”
“I don’t want anything from you.” The man's footsteps grew louder. “I’m here to serve justice, that’s all.”
The man rounded the subject, settling in their view with only his cloaked back visible while he tended to the little doll. He touched Billy delicately—like he was a little child that he loved dearly. He combed his gloved hand through the doll's black hair and eventually pulled his fingers from the tresses to pat his head gently.
“You fucking psycho! Let me go!”
He couldn’t help but laugh at that which only infuriated the subject more causing them to shake in anger, a movement they soon ceased when they realised something was penetrating their ribs.
“I’d be very careful if I was you, we wouldn’t want you hurting yourself now… would we?” The cloaked figure spun around. An angry glint to his eye.
“What the fuck, you’re fucking crazy. Let me out, this isn’t right!” The subject tried their hardest to swing their legs, to somehow kick the man who’d imprisoned them.
“I think you’ll find it is right. You’re unworthy of the body you possess.” He inched closer, “see, when someone purposely intends to harm others, they lose their right to life.”
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
The man arched a brow as he replied, “Don’t play dumb. You know exactly what I’m talking about.” He felt like it was a game of cat and mouse except, he was a tiger and his subject, was the tiniest prey to mankind. “But, let me remind you! Since you can’t get your thick fucking head to work. You’re a liar, a cheater and an abuser. That ring any bells?”
The subject's face dropped.
“Ah, I see by your expression you know exactly what I’m talking about! Glad to see we’re on the same page.” He shrugged his cloak off placing it to the side of the doll. “I want to play a game.”
“What game? This isn’t a fucking game! You’re sick in the head you fucking cunt!”
The atmosphere shifted, the man remained calm while the subject went ballistic.
“What is this? What fucking game?”
“You feel the machine that’s currently occupying your ribs? Well, in about ten minutes that’s going to rip you apart. I’m proud to say that trap is my baby. I’ve been working on it especially for you! How nice is that?” he reached out to tug at the subject’s legs, tormenting them like a cat would a mouse. “Anyway, as my beautiful angel trap will rip you apart, my darling little friend Billy over here,” the subject followed the direction the man's hand pointed, “is going to match your face with the ugliness of your soul.”
“Fuck, fuck this! How do I stop it? Tell me how I fucking stop it!”
A boxy grin overtook the man's face, laughter poured from his mouth as he leaned over and slapped the subject’s leg. “This is a special game.”
“Who are you? What do you mean by ‘special game’?”
He raised himself so he stood tall and grabbed a knife from his pocket, “I’m the man you call Jigsaw.” He traced the tip of the knife along the subject’s ankle, “and when I say a special game… I mean you can’t get out.” While the subject was screaming in realisation, Taehyung walked back for his cloak, hung it over his shoulder and stalked off back the way he came. He sent one last smile to the subject as he rounded them and within the blink of an eye, he gripped the knife and slashed the subject’s achilles.
A chilling scream pierced the eerie atmosphere, the subject couldn’t string words together. Abundances of anxiety, terror and pure panic took reign of their body. Taehyung grabbed the injured muscles and forced his gloved fingers in as he gripped and twisted them, “That’s for Y/N.”
Taehyung had pressed the timer before he cut the subject’s tendons. He grabbed the tape from his pocket and threw it on the ground and with a chuckle he shouted, “Game over!”
Before he reached the end of the hallway, he heard the gunshots pierce his subjects face followed by the sound of the angel trap, even this far away Taehyung heard every crack of the ribs and the noise of the body being tore apart.
Without looking back, Taehyung rounded the corner and slammed the door shut.
He’d chosen the Angel trap for the irony, the subject that was currently hanging from the ceiling was no angel. They were a fucked up, evil, waste of space. Taehyung had done the world a favour, he’d done you a favour.
That got him thinking, how much blood would you shed in order to stay alive?

Things we deserved to get from the Naruto manga and anime that we never got -
• JONIN NARUTO -
We followed him around as the lovable Genin knucklehead. Now it goes without saying that him being a Jonin is just a rank and honestly doesnt mean much. Rescuing Gaara, going after Kakuzo, Mount Miyaboku were all A & S-rank missions.
But I would liked to have seen him doing missions post war in a slightly more mature yet typically knuckleheaded manner instead of the passing phrase he made tonShikamaru about being too busy doing missions for the next 6 months.
We grew up with Naruto and now that he's older and stronger we dont get to see him in action.
• A Happily Married Kakashi & Shizune-
Hatake Kakashi has led a deeply traumatic life. His mother died when he was very young, his father committed suicide when he was 6 causing him to distance himself from everyone around him. The first person he opened up to and formed a bond with died moments later protecting him, the girl he deeply cared for and probably harbored feelings for which he was too afraid to confront died at his hands as he desperately tried to protect her, a year later his sensei died protecting the village. When he became a sensei to Team 7 he felt he was on a path to finding inner peace by ensuring these children avoid his traumas but his prized pupil went rogue shattering that hope. After all this I’d hoped he would’ve finally found a happy ending.
Why Shizune? Well I considered him and Kurenai getting together and him helping raise Mirai but Shizune has always felt like the only Kunoichi in Konoha who has her shit together. She is perfectly at peace with where she is in life. She is incredibly mature and level headed as she helps run the village with Tsunade. Someone who is at peace with herself and her aspirations is the perfect anchor for a man with a whirpool of trauma brewing in him.
Alas it seems like the showrunners have no intention of a romantic arc for Kakashi and the Hatake name will die with Kakashi.
• The Uzumaki Clan
Within a span of 3 months Naruto meets 3 Uzumaki clan members. Nagato, Karin and his own mother. While speaking with Kushina he finds out about the dark fate of the Uzumaki clan. How they were blessed with unimaginably high chakra reserves and were gifted in Sealing Jutsus, longevity and how it led to them being targeted by those who feared them leading to their village being wiped out and scattered across the shinobi world.
Instead of turning the Naruto saga into the Uchiha Chronicles Id have preferred a deep dive into the Uzumaki clan. Maybe even have a Sasuke-like venegeful figure who wants Konoha to suffer because they failed to provide aid to the village they called their strong allies in their greatest hour of need.
Like Sasuke this villain would’ve witnessed his fellow clansmen cut down, unlike Sasuke however he wouldn’t have had the likes of Naruto, Itachi or Kakashi to anchor him in the light leaving room for redemption.
This could have been the one villain that was so far gone in his pain and hatred that no amount of 'talk no jutsu' could have changed his mind and would've pushed Naruto to the very brink until he finally had to choose between killing his clansman or protecting his village.
Naruto would make the ultimate sacrifice for Konoha and this would all the more set his resolve to pulling Sasuke back from the darkness or dying with him.
An Uzumaki villain gifted in Fuijutsu and the use of the Uzumaki Kekkei Genkai, the Adamantine Chains along with massive chakra reserves would be the perfect power scaled villain for Post Pain Arc Naruto.
Instead we got Uchiha chronicles where everyone did whatever the fuck they thought of doing and chakra limits were all but history. This one really disappointed me. Which brings me to my next disappointment.
• Naruto Killing a Villain
Now I know it seems like an odd hang up. Naruto? Kill? But he is so fixated on redemption. That is exactly why I wanted this to happen. The series has gone out of its way to make sure Naruto hasn’t killed a character. The worst of it was against Kakuzu. The kind of attack unleashed upon Kakuzu SHOULD by all means have killed him. Yet somehow he was left in a ‘dying state’ and Kakashi was the one who did the deed.
Naruto being forced to kill a villain as a last resort and making a choice between saving someone dear to him or tainting his hands with blood was the ultimate moral conundrum for a shinobi whose biggest goal was rescuing his best friend from the dark. It would take him back to Itachi’s words where he asked Naruto what he would if Sasuke decided to destroy the village.
Instead we saw Rasen Shuriken and Rasengan getting scaled down to a point where they always injure and opponent but not kill him. For an S-rank jutsu, Rasen Shuriken happens to be quite lenient.
• Neji beoming the head of the Hyuuga Clan
This pisses me off the most. Neji was supposed to be to the Hyuuga was Naruto was to Konoha. I always expected Neji to overcome all the obstacles and get recognized by Hiashin who would then redeem himself and disband the branch system once and for all. Hiashin as a character was never redeemed. Here was a man who let his brother get executed to avoid punishment (albeit he was against it but it did happen), constantly abused his kind daughter and belittled her for being too soft and put her down to a point her personality was underdeveloped and she had deep seethed confidence issues.
Disbanding the branch system and making Neji the leader would redeem him in the eyes of the readers/ viewers and would clean up the Hyuuga clan.
Instead Neji was scrapped aside to give Naruto and Hinata a bonding moment. They had a bonding moment, it was when she almost died saving his life. Neji didn’t have to die for them to get together ffs. What a wasted potential.
• NaruSaku
Now I’m not a fanatic shipper. In fact when I read and watched the original series I absolutely HATED Sakura. My hatred for her reached it’s peak during the Zabuza arc when Naruto ran at the S-rank villain, got kicked away and got up to show he went in for his forehead protector. “What do you think you’re doing Naruto? Even Sasuke-kun wasn’t a match for him.” I just wanted Naruto to turn around and tell her to stfu in that moment. As the series approached the time skip I was well and truly content with NaruHina.
But Shippuden changed things. The hints towards Sakura’s changed feelings were sprinkled all over the series. One moment that stands out for me was the Clone Training arc where Sai tests her by abusing Naruto and she goes on a rage rant about how great he is. Let’s not forget that in her darkest hour, as she saw a ruined and destroyed village the only person she thought of and cried out to was Naruto. Not because she felt he could save the village (she was as shocked as Shikamaru as she found out he was facing pain alone) but because when things when bad for her the only person who she felt comfort around was indeed Naruto and that is indisputable.
She goes as far as ruining her friendship with Naruto, a bond she truly cherished as it was all she had left after Sasuke abandoned the village, and confessed her feelings to manipulate him. Yes manipulative, scheming and downright a bitch of a thing to do. But it was all she could think of to make Naruto stop chasing after Sasuke. She, more than anyone wanted to see Naruto become a Hokage and realize his dreams and dying while rescuing Sasuke was a risk she couldn’t take and she decided she’d have him hate her than die. Wrong yes. But oddly noble.
This combined with all the blatant attempts to establish her being like Kushina and Kushina saying she wants Naruto to find someone like her changed my mind from NaruHina. I still adore Hinata. She is a wonderful character. But organic plot progression is far more important to me than my ships being canon.
A Naruto-Sakura family would’ve been incredibly entertaining and the dynamics would be perfect. We’d see a Minato-Kushina couple on screen for the next series. Which brings me to my next disappointment.
•HinaShino
I don’t know if that’s the official name for the pairing but I always felt these 2 would make a great couple.They are both people of a few words and are both incredibly intuitive and understanding individuals. Shino would accept Hinata for who she was and vice versa. Being with someone who was happy with the person they were would go miles in helping them come out of their shells.
Altho this isn’t a massive disappointment for me. I’m happy that Hinata ended up with Naruto. But like I said organic plot progression matters to me and if Naruto ended up with Sakura I’d prefer Hinata to end up with Shino.
•Hiraishin No Jutsu
Sadly as the series progressed Naruto had become so OP that not letting him master his father’s improved version of Tobirama’s jutsu was a great decision. It would’ve just made him senselessly OP.
However instead of giving him all those God Tier power ups which he just gains in single training sessions I’d have preferred him working hard to master the Hirashin. Instead of sending him off to an island and treating him like a fucking idiot and asking him to survey animals I’d have preferred if Tsunade gave him an impossible task.
“You can’t fight in the battle. But I will only allow it if you can master your father’s jutsu.”
It was a period of 6 months between Danzo’s death and the start of the shinobi war. Ample time to show him training hard to learn a jutsu that for once required him to study. Hiraishin deals not just in physical acts of speed but also mastering seals. Seeing his friends go off to fight in the war as he was left behind would have only added to his frustration and motivated him more.
Showing Naruto training hard like they showed him training for Rasen Shuriken would’ve only made us cheer all the more harder when he’d make a badass entry on the battle field as Tobi came close to killing Kakashi and a three pronged Kunai swished between the two, an orange flash appeared and Naruto kicked Tobi away.
Sadly this was swapped for Pokemon evolutions where arc after arc Naruto levels up just like that. The show’s entire premise was based on hard work and guts.
Sasuke was the genius who gained his power through natural ability. Sure he trained hard but his strength came to him with ease. Naruto had to slog. He manged to make the Rasengan after nearly 15 episodes of training and even then he had to get stabbed to be able to use it. It wasn’t until another 10 episodes that he properly used it. His training for the Rasenshuriken took an entire season to yield results and even then he didn’t learn to throw it until he trained for another 3 seasons till the Pain arc.
Post pain all this is tossed aside. He sits at the waterfall twice and beats the darkness. He sits in the room once and tames Kurama. Later Kakashi and Guy are in trouble, he has an inner dialogue with Kurama and suddenly he mastered the two man team with no prior training. Rikkodu Sennin touches him once and suddenly he’s learnt how to grow eyes, stop death and fly just like that.
The series stopped being the Naruto series we grew up with post Danzo and it saddens me.
• Naruto Sensei -
And finally my last and greatest disappointment of all. Not seeing Naruto as a sensei. We’ve seen glimpses of his nurturing side in his interactions with Konohamaru but I’d have loved to have seen 40-50 episodes of him leading his own squad of genins. A perfect combination of Kakashi and Guy as he’d wow them with his brilliance and equally embarrass them in day to day interactions with his goofy tomfoolery. His genins would be in awe of him. Naruto Sensei - the hero of the war.
His students could have an arrogant son/daughter of a feudal lord who insisted he be trained by the war hero, Naruto and Kakashi had to cave in for diplomatic reasons. Naruto refuses to take anyone who doesn’t work hard to get where they are but after the bell test sees potential in the child. A child with no ninja background. His parents were farmers outside of Konoha who were very poor. His sole aim is to be a ninja so strong that he’s always assigned big missions that will help him ease his family’s financial burdens. A genin from the Inuzuka clan (or any other clan, maybe even Hanabi if the show wanted to push more Naruto-Hinata interactions) who thinks he’s better than the other 2 because of his family background but is taught humility by Naruto.
Sadly another development in Naruto’s life we were denied.
Well that’s my rant essay. I know a lot of people won’t agree with what I had to say but I wanted to get it off my best anyway. Why?
Because I wanted to dattebayo!

AU Thursday: As Long As You Love Me -- Still Here
A) Felt bad about saying I’m working on ANOTHER Valice AU but can’t show you anything yet and B) my friend @dont-offend-the-bees is modding good old Kurlish Week in the Dirk Gently fandom, so let’s have an entry in spirit! Last time we saw our heroes, Alice had just slaughtered an entire gang of evil bikers! She and Victor are back on the road again -- or, rather, they were, until Victor convinced her to stop for a night in a hotel for a chance. Alice is better than Bart at figuring out how hotels work, but she’s still out of her element. . .
"You – have stayed in a hotel before, right?"
"Once," Alice said, sitting on the bed and eyeing the walls as if she expected them to start dissolving any second now. "Years and years ago. An overnight trip to the seaside, if I remember correctly." She bounced on the mattress. "Usually we just had day trips into London. Mama and Papa liked sleeping in their own beds after a day out. So did I, honestly."
Victor thought about their first night together in the car – him curled up in the back seat, her in the front. His heart twisted in his chest. How many times had she lived her half of the scene, out in the cold, completely alone except for her imaginary friends? (Who, judging by how often she argued with thin air, weren't even all that friendly. Wonderland might protect her, but he couldn't blame her for wanting another source of conversation.) "When is the last time you slept in a bed?"
"Oh, not that long ago," Alice said, waving a hand carelessly. "I'm not that far out of Rutledge." She bounced again, heedless of the stricken look on Victor's face. "Granted, I am going to have to get used to clean sheets and pillows. And a mattress that doesn't feel stuffed full of rocks."
"Right." Victor dropped their duffel bag of essentials by the TV, then ran his fingers through his hair. "So, um, did you want the shower first, or. . . ?"
Alice froze, sitting bolt-upright. "Shower?"
"Yes. Shower. The thing that sprays water on you," Victor deadpanned. "If you've forgotten what one of those is, I don't know what to do with you."
She gave him one of those looks that was half-annoyance at the teasing, half-pride at the snark. "I know what it is, I just – it has been a while since I had one of those. Rutledge was all about either freezing cold or stiflingly hot baths, and – well, you've seen how much I spend on wet wipes."
He had indeed. Victor opened the bathroom door, revealing rows of blue and white tiles forming a wave pattern, a gleaming white toilet, and a smoked glass shower stall just beyond. "Be my guest. I don't mind waiting."
Alice needed no further invitation. She sprang from the bed, shucking her jacket and dropping it on the floor before heading inside and shutting the door. Victor turned on the TV to give her a bit of extra privacy. "Police are still investigating the mysterious mass murder of the notorious Blackwing gang," a news anchor droned solemnly from behind a desk. "Nine out of the ten members of the gang, including leader Scott Riggins, were found dead on a piece of farmland the gang had purchased as headquarters two years ago. When questioned, neighbors said they'd heard a commotion roughly three days ago, including large amounts of gunfire, but declined to investigate due to Blackwing's hostile reaction toward anyone considered intruders. Indeed, upon examining the barn on the property, police found dozens of bodies, most of them burned–"
Victor switched the channel before they could show any footage of the barn. He'd already lived that particular nightmare – he did not need it on instant replay. Instead, he found a red-headed young lady looking pensively out of the TV screen. "How does she know you love her?" she crooned, over the protests of her dark-haired male companion. "How does she know she's yours?"
Ah – Enchanted. That would do nicely. Victor chuckled as Robert attempted to thwart Giselle's musical number, only to be thwarted in turn by the Jamaican fellow in the park. Poor man – one chance meeting with a girl, and suddenly your whole life is turned upside-down.
His eye fell on Alice's jacket, discarded on the rug. He picked it up and examined it. The heavy leather had seen its share of battles – he poked his finger through an old knife hole. Unwillingly, his mind went back to the news report. Riggins had killed dozens of people in this jacket. Most of them likely people just like himself – innocent bystanders in the wrong place at the wrong time. And judging by his s'mores joke, he hadn't felt squat about ending so many lives. And then Alice had come along, and. . . .
He looked back up at the movie – at everyone singing and dancing with Giselle while Robert watched in a continual state of befuddlement. It suddenly felt very appropriate for this particular flick to be on. Perhaps Alice didn't cause spontaneous musical numbers, but the universe still molded itself to suit her needs. Never any eyewitnesses (except him, now) to her crimes. Never anyone ready to question the red splattered across her clothes. Never anyone giving her a second glance for talking to nothing. It was like – she was on a different wavelength to most people, one they couldn't pick up. So she moved through the world, killing whomever she thought needed it, and no one – no one even noticed her.
Except him. Somehow, he'd become the Robert to her bloody Giselle. But why? What made him special? All he had going for him was a steady hand with a quill pen, a natural talent for the piano, and a father with a booming cannery business. And Alice hadn't known about any of that when she'd rescued him from Hugo and his men. So what on earth had made the Cheshire Cat call him ���
"Ahhh!"
Victor jumped to his feet. "Alice?!"
"It's all right, just – damn, the water's cold!" He could picture her glaring at the shower head. "Do they not have any concept of central heating in this hotel?"
"Just let it run for a minute, I'm sure it'll be fine." Victor fidgeted a moment. "You – you do have everything you need, right?"
"That depends on whether or not there's enough shampoo for one head in these tiny bottles," Alice responded. "And what's – why is the soap wrapped up like a Christmas present?"
"I think it's supposed to show it's fresh," Victor said, unable to help his grin. He went over and plonked himself down against the door so they could hear each other better. "You know, so you know you're not using the same bar as the last person who stayed here."
"I don't expect this soap to last a single wash, let alone two. I could break this by breathing on it." A moment of silence, then, "Another brainteaser for you – why does the shampoo have fruit on the label? Is it edible now?"
"No," Victor said quickly, just in case she was moved to test the universe's protection of her. "'Natural botanicals' is the new trend, that's all. . .honestly, if they were going to make any of it edible, I'd vote the conditioner. It already looks a bit like yogurt."
That adorable snort that signaled Alice laughing reached his ears. "I still don't think I'd like it in a parfait! 'Natural botanicals,' hmm? Next thing you'll know, they'll be having us rub whole strawberries and lemon slices on our heads."
Now it was Victor's turn to snort. "And my mother will be first in line to waste her money on it. She'll buy anything if she thinks it's in." He looked up at the ceiling. "Usually hats."
"Which kind of defeats the point of fancy shampoos. . ." Alice was quiet for a moment. "We haven't heard any more about them looking for you."
"Er – we have been rather busy," Victor said. "Not much time to listen to the radio."
"I suppose." Another brief silence. "Do you miss them?"
Victor's first instinct was to say that of course he did, they were his parents. But then. . .well, there was something about Alice that made him want to be honest. Besides, she'd find a way to cut through his bullshit anyway. "Not as much as I think I ought. We're – they're very into appearances and climbing the social ladder, and I'm – not good at that." He twisted his hands in his lap. "I – I'm sure they love me, but we're – t-there's a distance."
"I see. I'm sorry."
Victor shrugged to the wood. "I'm used to it."
Alice hummed. "That does at least explain why you didn't run for it the moment I stepped into the bathroom."
Victor blinked. "Why would I run for it?"
He could almost hear her raising her eyebrow. "Because you were clearly considering doing so for most of our trip together?"
That was true. . .and thinking about it, this would have been the perfect moment, wouldn't it? She never would have heard him slip out over both the TV and the shower, and he had plenty of money for a taxi thanks to the cash she’d accumulated from her kills. He could have been long gone by the time she stepped out of the bathroom. Well on his way back to his normal life.
And yet – the possibility hadn't even crossed his mind. After the bikers, everything had shifted. Alice had stopped being scary and started being – comfortable. The weirdness that followed her had started feeling – normal. His eyes found the TV again. Robert was smiling now, caught up in the magic of the song despite himself. Just like he was caught up in Alice’s universe. It wasn’t strange anymore -- it was -- right.
He wasn’t sure Alice would like the comparison to a Disney movie, though. "It's – different now," he said instead. "Like I said – I get it now. I'm supposed to be with you." He paused, then added, totally on a whim, "I'm still here."
Silence stretched between them – but it was warm, and companionable. "Yes," Alice said at last, and she sounded the happiest he'd ever heard her. "You're still here."

2017.02.20 TOEI HERO NEXT さらば俺たち賞金稼ぎ団 [Review]

STORY
Kinbara is in a writing slump which means Gekidan Bazooka are without scripts and things to perform until then, so they decide to try out being hosts at Club Jewel, but soon they get caught up in an attempted murder, but with no script to guide them, they have to improv. their way to figure out what really happened.
NON SPOILER
This was so fun. I laughter so hard for 2 hours straight. The scripted comedy, the improvised parts, the accidental mistakes and the aftertalk was ALL hilarious. I very much enjoyed myself and it was very refreshing to watch - I expected to be super tired after doing 3 stages and 2 events the week prior - but this was so easy to watch and so easy to be entertained and is a lot of fun! Baba Ryoma is just the king of being over-energetic and funny in an ugly way, Sho-san definitely controlled the AfterTalk and everyone was definitely onboard with whatever crazy requests and daily challenges (higawari) and improvs that came their way. I really hope they do a next install me. And it’s so freaking cool seeing the entire cast and going ‘holy moly they ALL did sentai!’ it’s badass having that realisation in the middle of the play.

The first few parts won’t be spoilerly, so you can read up to the ‘read more’ line without worrying ^_^
When I first walked in, I realised I had an aisle seat... and THEN I realised it was a host set up on the stage... AND THEN I realised there were stairs leading up to the stage, and I was just like ‘oh shit please do not come my way and approach me’ ... my heart was racing anytime they came down the stairs or towards me o_O
The spoiler part of the story is: So Gekidan Bazooka join the host club, with Niina (Moritaka) as a female guest, but then it turns into an incident when Suito (Suzuki) tries to attack the owner of the club and claims that the owner killed his father and that he’s responsible for his father’s death and responsible for why his father and his family have been labeled as murderers. The plan doesn’t go as he hoped so Suito’s only option is to then go on the run so he isn’t attacked or arrested. Thus, Gekidan Bazooka are left to figure out what really happened. I won’t spoil any more about ^_^
Now some random comments about the stage and some scenes itself before I get into the individual character/cast stuff:
Towards the beginning of the stage when they first join the host club, the main Gekidan Bazooka members joked and commented about it being ‘Watashi no Host-chan’ and in all honestly: it really was a parody of it.
I freaked out in the beginning because it went dark and I noticed someone had come in from the left side door in front of me but couldn’t figure out who it was. Then the lights came up and a spot light was on the person, and BAM Shougo is like RIGHT there and immediately he’s all excited and loud like ‘HEY! WELCOME! LETS HAVE SOME FUN!!!’ and I’m like, ‘I cannot handle Shougo being this close to me, being this gorgeous AND being this excited and loud’ my heart was definitely not calming xD
Kuroda Ken (Saito) and Mizuno (Baba) had to play Pocky Chicken which is essentially the game of Chicken but with them putting each end of the Pocky in their mouths and eating it and getting closer until someone freaks out and losses. When Ken first put the Pocky in his mouth he started flicking it up and down, and Baba’s face was gold. Baba (in character) was like ‘stop moving it! stop doing that’ but Kuroda was WAY too excited to get to play Pocky with him. Of course Mizuno losses xD later it almost becomes a Suito vs Mizuno Pocky Chicken but it gets stopped before it even starts because Mizuno is like ‘that’s not a good enough challenge to prove I’m a good host! We must do something that really tests us as Hosts!’ and of course Ken and Niina are totally upset and disappointed by the gaming being stopped - *cough* just like the rest of the audience xD
There was massive shipping all around for Suito x Ken - Shougo and Saito’s character. Everytime Shougo touched Saito there was this pink heart and a ‘kyun’ sound moment from Ken that was hilarious every time xD also Niina was shipping it hard herself xD
To be honest, I do have one little bitty niggle of a negative: I feel it dragged a little towards the end for abou 10-15 minutes but only because we’d been so spoilt with comedy for the first 60-70% or so that for it to suddenly get very realistic and dark, kind of ruined the mood and so that one part drags somewhat before we go back to the comedy again.
There’s two main higawaris and improv parts in this stage that I want to talk about:
First Challenge/Duel: About 20 minutes into the stage, Suito asks his number one guest (played by Miyuki) to decide a challenge for us.
The theme was: Confess Your Love to the Criminal in the Interrogation Room.
Suito: *pretends to smoke cigarette* BANG on the desk! Have you eaten katsudon?! What? You’re on a diet?! I’ll leave you even if you’re round! Lets eat katsudon together again. That’s ALL!
I don’t remember who he was against -- I think it was Baba -- but Shougo obviously won so ^_^
Second Challenge/Duel: Pretty much the finale scene of the stage when the guest of the day comes out and gives them a challenge. So todays guest was Watanabe from Jyuuohger (HyuuohElephant). The higawari at the end and it was between Gekidan Bazooka’s Kinbara and Jewel’s Sho-san.
The theme was: Blouson Lion Jyuurou.
I don’ really remember it much but I remember Kinbara pulling up his pants completely so his white hairy legs were showing and he forced Baba and Kinjyou to help him and he ended by using a Jyuuohger line (because Watanabe was there) ‘このちきゅうになめるなよ!/ Don’t underestimate this world!’ he really was hilarious and tried so hard!
Then it was Sho-san’s turn and again his was super fast and crazy and it made it worse by him asking Miyuki to come back on stage and was like ‘start a beat’ and she did this crazy off beat not good song that added to the hilarity of it all and she REALLY got into it half way through that even Sho-san was losing it a little while trying to perform. I don’t really remember what was said, but he was talking about ‘dont be worried about this... don’t be worried about that’ and every time he finished on a ‘don’t be worried’ which translates to ‘shinpai nai’, Shougo would immediately start yelling “Shinpainaisa~!” WHICH is apparently an iconic scene out of the Japanese Lion King Stage (see here and here) but Shougo does it MUCH better xD and much more hilarious! Every time he did it the audience got worse and worse in terms of how hard they were laughing.
Sho-san’s team ultimately won xD
I really do hope they’ve filmed all the higawari’s too! Especially because not many people were posting the daily challenges on twitter every day so if they weren’t filmed then they’re gone for good and I really want people to at least see this one! xD
Now onto the characters!
Suzuki Shougo as Suito: So he is essentially Jewel’s number one host, and as stated he tries to get revenge for his father’s death and for his family being labelled murderer’s BUT turns out that he only wanted to threaten the owner to get the truth rather than actually kill him and he spends his time on the run feeling awful about it and he’s actually a very nice guy who just wants to make other, especially women, smile. His voice when he did his solo song during the singing show down between himself and Baba was SO good!! Seriously, SO GOOD. I could not look away! I was completely absorbed in his singing performance. And a little part of my brain couldn’t not think ‘OMG look at Kazama!’ (he plays Kazama in the HakuMyu series... shh! I’m not using past tense yet okay!). At first I didn’t think I’d like Shougo with short hair but after seeing him in this, I’m okay with it. My comments about his personality are down in the AfterTalk section below. Suito basically matches his name: He’s a sweet and kind guy. And seriously the shipping for him and Ken was GOLD.
Saito Shunsuke as Kuroda Ken: I forgot about Ken’s phobia against women which made it hilarious because he ends up joining the host club BUT then he ends up crossdressing so he could be one of Suito’s guests and not only does he look pretty (Saito always looks freaking pretty!) but he really suits looking like a girl! When Kuroda dresses up as a girl, Suito obviously notices but he doesn’t embarrass Ken by letting him know and allows him to continue being a female guest at their hostclub. The scene between him and Suito where he’s like ‘you realised I was a guy (crossdressing) but you didn’t say anything, you kept treating me like your guest’ and it was such a touching moment <3 There’s a lot of hand and wrist holding moments with them! I don’t know how Saito does it really, he’s always up for pretty much any role and any type of character. He’s never done an uninteresting character I don’t think and he can very easily play both the more feminine role (like in this one) and the more masculine role (for example in BASARA).
Baba Ryoma as Mizuno Satoshi: Baba Ryoma... this man child. Every time he impresses me because he has such energy and he like never runs out of it and everytime I am shocked and astounded by just how... what the right word to describe him... disgusting in a good way! He’s such a hentai. He literally knows no bounds!
Just before his singing showdown, Niina was taunting him like ‘ミュージカル王子だからね / because you’re the prince of musicals right?’ and Baba’s face was just like ‘ah balls now I have to be good’ and I honestly think it was an unexpected remake and his reaction was real at that moment. During his sing-off with Shougo, he was being so over the top and flamboyant and pulling faces and getting real close to the audience and making them feel uncomfortable as he tries to do these sexy moves but they come off really stingy (on purpose). I’m pretty sure Baba completely broke some rules when he went up to a girl in the front row and was kind like leaning into her and rolling his hips and crotch about in front of her like a strip show xD That boy will never not calm down will he xD
He is absolutely hilarious. Just his facial features and expressions alone are enough to make an entire audience lose themselves in laughter. Watching Mizuno drink himself silly on the first night working at the host club was hilarious too! The theatre goes black and then the lights go back up and him, Saito and Nakajima’s characters are just completely passed out from over drinking on their first night at the host club xD another hilarious moment from Baba is towards the end where Gekidan Bazooka reenact the murder and Baba plays the role of Suito’s father, so he’s mainly just playing dead on the floor, and everytime something breaks the scene and he gets up and then they go back into the scene, Baba (everytime) flawlessly rolled back into the dead body position and it was so smoothly done that it was cracking everyone up xD Baba I love you, never not be stupid, loud, hentai-y, and hilarious.
Moritaka Ai as Momose Niina: She's cute! And I definitely could get on board with her personality because she’s a Fujoushi and would just fantasize (as much as I did) every time she saw Suito and Ken together xD and she always put her hands up and made little bunnies out of them and reenacted the Pocky Chicken scene and imagines Ken and Suito kissing so that was enjoyable too. I’m a little upset that she couldn’t join the rest of the gang because (being the only girl) she couldn’t be a host, but it would’ve been fun if they’re done what they did to Saito’s character and made her cross-dress and try to get by as a male host. Now THAT would’ve added hilarity and more interesting scenes to the already great stage that it was.
Nakajima Kaito as Kirijima Reito: This one I was worried about because he is so young and granted he wasn’t the worst out of the Ninninger’s, but he’s definitely got pressure on him for being a decent performer because in this stage he is surrounded by amazing actors like Suzuki, Baba and Saito. Also I think this was his first stage. But, looks like the directors and such agreed with me, because his character is very normal; obsessed with his phone, not really taking anything seriously, not really wanting to try and help, and his stage time was rather small too. So they let him play it safe which I think was the better option. Maybe in the next stage, when he’s had more experience and more work and mattured a little more, he’ll get more character development and stage time but I’m glad me and the showrunners saw eye-to-eye on Nakajima.
Kinjyou Yamato as Aoki Junzou: I don’t really have much to say about this guy; he plays a police officer who really shouldn’t have been allowed or given that job because he’s not good at his job at all and he lets criminal get away and he never arrests people and he’s too soft and nice. He got his limelight moment though when he had to take over Kinbara’s role and it was super cute where he was acting really badly but you could just hear Kinbara going ‘yeah like that! Ooooo you’re doing great!!’ and that was definitely a hilarious scene he was center for.
Maruyama Atsushi as Kinbara Toshiro: Even though the play is about attempted murder in a host club, it actually starts with everyone learning Kinbara is currently in a huge writing slump, and in order to regain it they all decide to just go into a situation unscripted; it ends up being them joining a host club and thus all the craziness ensues. There’s a point half way where Kinbara accidently gets caught up in a stabbing and then everyone thinks he’s dead -- which ends up becoming a hilarious scene and you could tell he wasn’t really going to die just based on what kind of stage this is (comedy if you didn’t get the hint already xD). The part where Kinbara, or should I saw Maruyama, really shined was during the final higawari of the day. The higawari came from the guest of the day which was Watanabe and each person from both teams (Gekidan Bazooku and Gekidan Blues) had to . Maruyama was devastated he lost xD
Soutarou as Hara: I think this one was a shocker for us all! He ends up being an onee-san and he looks completely different in all his makeup and his girlyness! Even up close he looked very convincing! But seeing him in his normal clothes and in a beard and everything, it’s difficult to believe it’s the same person! During the aftertalk, the said ‘if you keep talking like that (in his high, girly voice) people are going to think you really are that way (implying either gay or wants a sex change)’ and he very seriously looked (I think it was Sho-san xD) at him and said ‘I am that way’ oh dear lord xD his combination with Nakajima was so great and added to the comedy.
Matsumoto Hiroya as Mysterious Guy: Hiroya always seems to pull the short end of the stick. He had such a short amount of time on stage again *cries* his character definitely lived up to his name; mysterious. And his character has such a short amount of time << I already said this but I’m upset about this! I really do think Hiroya is an underrated actor, even in Sentai I think he’s underrated. I’m glad he got to be the MC during the aftertalk BUT Sho-san essentially, and very smoothly, took over as MC xD it was hilarious seeing Hiroya trying to control the group and trying to stay in control when Sho-san and Hayashi were just running amuck and completely taking over and handling the topics of discussion and the comedy. Poor Hiroya >.<
Kubodera Akira as Kiseki Yuji: I freaked when this guy came on the stage. I was like ‘OH SHIT IT’S MITSUHIDE!! (from TouStage)’. I realised who he was straight away and of course I was like ‘I automatically love this character’ even though at one point he gets accused of murdering and being the perpetrator to a crime, I was still like ‘yeah but it’s Akira from TouStage! who cares if he’s bad or not!’ xD he did a great job in this just as much as he did in TouStage. He may be an older man (okay he’s barely just turned 40) but you gotta admit he’s very good looking! and he’s always had this playful yet still mature aura about him. He definitely never shies away from comedy, even in this. Always with a smile too ^_^
Hiramaki Jin as Ruri: Hiramaki Jin’s character surprised me. I expected him to be all cool and like ‘yah I’m a host. Look how sexy I am’ because the pamphlet shows him posing cooly, and let’s be honest that’s the type of image and aura Jin gives off (I don’t mean this in a bad way!), but he turned out to be a super cutie and adorable! He was all happy and jumpy and a little stupid but totally adorable!
Hayashi Tsuyoshi as Ran: I don’t really remember his character. The actor himself was more impressive. He was very funny and during the final song he overdid it a little and was just kind stood there out of breath and like ‘I’m too old for this’ xD he has a great dynamic with Sho-san. OH! The point that really killed us all is at the end of the story/play where they’re all having a heart-to-heart and saying all this nice stuff, but he messed up his line and with pure luck and timing it made everyone, including the cast, just break completely into laughter. No one could control themselves. It wasn’t even that funny of a mistake, but just the timing and the fact the audience had already been in fits of giggles for over 2 hours anyway, it was definitely the last straw that even broke the cast and were like collasped on the floor and laughing while facing each other and stuff. Pure gold.
Tomita Sho as Sou: My dear Sho... I was never even supposed to fall for you but the more I see you, the more I fall for you! You’re just.... so sexy and so funny and so energetic and so great and you rally understand how to shape the mood and make everyone smile while also enjoying the moment yourself. Sho-san’s character was great too. He was the number one host and the main leader of the hosts. Also his character was well known for fucking up names which really helped the comedy and hilarity. He’d be yelling and he’d be like: ‘Will you listen to me Ren?!��� ‘It’s Ran’ ‘RAN!’ I’m not doing it justice but every time it was pure gold. I’ve already mentioned his shenanigans in the aftertalk, or it will be listed below. Seriously, his is one handsome devil and he’s great at what he does and he’s so funny and....OH! I only bought his bromides; I almost bought Baba’s but in honesty, his pictures in the pamphlet are better than his shots in the bromides. Whereas Sho-san just looks great in both bromides and pamphlet xD I might try and collect his randoms too... I really liked Sho’s character and he was a very good leader and he was a very nice and forgiving character and just wanted to help everyone out. He treats the other hosts so well. He’s just a very good, decent character. Did I mention Sho-san is very unashamed of embarrassing himself and others? Which makes him all the more amazing and funny! Last thing about his; during one of his entrances from the left side door, he came down and sat on one of the aisle armrests and put his arm over the girl and like winked and her and then went up to the stage xD From the feeling I got from her, I don’t think she appreciated it (she was much older - wow I sound ageist, sorry - than I assume his fans would be, but maybe he’s seen her from his past events sand so knew she was his fan and therefore okay to go to her?) but she damn well should’ve! I had an iasle seat! Come to me!!! xD
The AfterTalk
I’ve probably already spoiled most of the aftertalk when I was talking about the actors individually but anyway, here you go:
During the aftertalk, Nakajima and Watanabe were talking about their time making the new Ninninger and Jyuohger movie and they spoke about how they went for dinner together one time and Sho-san was like ‘what did you eat? How was the food?’ and Hiroya is just like ‘食事グルメ番組になっちゃったな〜!/ This has turned into a Gurume/Food report show hasn’t it!’ xD Hiroya could NOT control Sho-san at all and it was hilarious! At one point Hayashi turned to Sho-san and was like ‘who’s supposed to be the MC here?! You or Hiroya?!’ because he was completely in control of the conversation and the questions xD
They asked the Club Jewel / Gekidan Blues members what it was like being hosts and how they prepared for their role and Hayashi was like ‘well I was a host for like 2 hour but then I quite so I’ve already done it in real life so I didn’t need to prepare’ and then Sho-san was like ‘well I’ve done a lot of host roles so I’m pretty much a professional’ and just the cool way they were like ‘yeah been there, done that, I know what I’m doing’ was soooo good without the being cocky about it and everyone was genuinely interested like ‘when were you a host Hayashi? What other roles were you a host Sho?’ and I was sat there like ‘smoothe buugers’ xD
Suzuki was SUPER quiet during the aftertalk. He didn’t talk at all after he gave his introduction. He just kind of sat there and enjoyed everyone else’s conversation which really surprised me; he’s completely the opposite of his character. I remember being surprised the first time someone told me he usually cries at the end of his stages and I was like ‘nah... Shougo is tough!’ and then I saw him ball at the HakuMyu Live 2 senshuuraku and thinking about it, it it makes sense that he would ultimately be the type of guy who takes a back seat and would be the type to stay quiet and just enjoy everyone else’s conversation rather than butt in (complete opposite to say Sugie Taishi shall we say xD that boy does NOT stop talking. He always loves jumping into conversations! Anyway...) and give his own say in the matter. He only spoke during the greetings, at the very end and when he was directly asked a question. The rest of the time, Hayashi and (especially) Sho-san were running a muck and causing everyone to laugh and controlling the conversation. Poor Hiroya couldn’t wrangle them in xD Sho-san is so funny; I swear to got I fall more for this man every time I see him; he’s just so funny and he really knows how to pull a joke and he knows how to wreak havoc without it going to far or without it becoming annoying and he’s such a great taling; he really should have been the MC for this aftertalk.
The guys doing the sound kindly had Nakajima and Watanabe’s henshin music on standby so they both did their henshin poses and sequences ^_^ but after Nakajima’s he was like ‘I didn’t realise how long mine was!’ because he spent a lot of time just stood there xD
Ise sang the theme song at the end and all the actors (even those from backstage) came out in the sweat wear and Saito went passed me and holy moly he smelt freaking amazing and then cute but shy Nakajima went past me a little. Sho-san was being himself and found an empty aisle seat about 3 rows in and just sat there and getting high fives and waving to everyone during the entire song xD I really wanted him to come over and around the theatre like everyone else but that too was fun to watch - but I was a little disappointed.
Apparently they’ve been filming the aftertalks (or at least they said that they did on this day - so safe to assume they filmed them all?) so hopefully this one is on the DVD too so we can all laugh at Sho-san and co.

Ep. #13- “It Could All Crash Down On Me” - Linus
After Leah was voted out, Ashley and Amanda confronted Tommy about lying to them about the vote. They were told that Leah was seen as a threesome with them and that she must go. The Immunity challenge was endurance and Tommy blew away the competition and won Immunity for the third time. Ashley went to work on trying to get numbers on her side. Sam and Tommy planned to split the vote attempting for a 2-2-2 result with the help of Ting Ting and Linus in case Ashley or Amanda had an idol. Ashley was able to convince Linus to join her and Amanda by promising him a Final 3 deal and Linus decided to flip his vote to Sam. At Tribal Council, Ashley played her Hidden Immunity Idol, cancelling the two votes cast against her, and Sam was sent home in a 3-1-0 vote.
EnDuRaNcE cHaLlEnGe FuCk Me Up!!!!
Okay so I am kinda pissed about this last tribal but I am keeping my head. I am going to admit to Sam I brought his name around and own up to that. But I am not saying I was wrong to. Leah leaving was a strategic move on their end because they though Leah, Amanda and I were some kickass f3. When the truth is that Leah and I barely talked until like last week. And those talks never went farther than It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. So nice going idiots. You didn’t affect me at all. I still have an idol. And I am thought to be one of the least likely people to have an idol? That is what Linus says at least, soooo hopefully I can kick someone’s ass this next vote. Because I am pissed.
I hate having to do this, but I am totally throwing Amanda and I’s relationship into the fire right now. I am telling Tommy I trust him more and telling Linus I still really want to work with him, both are semi true. But Amanda is still my ride or die. But I just cant see myself being able to move on so far with someone who only comes on right before tribal just to hear a vote that people are saying and vote with that. What if one day that vote is me? I just don’t know what to do. I think Tommy is buying and I hope to god Linus is. Because it is true, we need to get rid of Sam, and I know they know it. I may sound like Jay right now, but I do have a feeling that Sam is running things in that small four who voted our Leah. I just hope they understand that He will turn on them the second he has the chance.
well fuck me the only way i can win this is if somebody else drops their tile tower
I’m just frustrated because I feel like I stayed up for nothing. I guess my only shot is top 3 and try to get something from the cave. Other than that, I’m actually fucked.
I just dropped my tower again, and I’m a little upset a lot. I was just watching tv too closely and let it go. I actually got to 18 without messing up this time. The max I can do is 53 now, which will not be enough to win. I can try to see if the cave is a possibility, but I’m losing hope very quickly.
as if it wasn’t clear before, I have no shot at winning this thing. Maybe I’ll rally up one just so I don’t get zero as a final score, but I think I’m done with it. It’s just not worth doing anything challenge-wise. I’m going to have to rely on the same foursome to stick together, which means we need to convince Linus that Amanda and Ashley have no interest in taking him to the end, which sounds very sketchy on my part because then, who will I say they want to take to the end? Some kind of plan needs to be formed so that Linus doesn’t flip.
you know, this is a big test. for this entire game, I’ve been trying to play differently. Before, I was somebody that reveled in chaos and was a rogue kind of player. I liked to look out for me, and that was it. Now, I feel like I’ve gotten as far as I have because I’ve been able to offer things to allies and to others I’m supposed to vote with. I interacted with people that I wanted to vote with me MORE than what was necessary. I didn’t drop them after I heard that I was going to be okay. I changed the way that I played this entire game, and I relied more on social harmony than just creating discourse. If I can get past this next vote, then I really do put myself in a good position to make it to the final three (ideally with Tommy and Ting Ting). If I can do this, I think I can really be satisfied that my social game has come full circle, and that is something to really be proud of.
however, being distraught is an understatement. Like always, it’s time to go to work.
So this tribal is going to be interesting. Tommy is immune because he is the only one of the 6 of us who has no life and could stand to send a message EVERY GODDAMN MINUTE. My tower fell after 30 tiles and I decided that I loved myself and stopped. Apparently Amanda didn’t even attempt it, and Ting Ting was kind of in the same boat as myself. With Tommy having immunity, I am hoping he will feel better about voting with Amanda and I again, where he fucking flipped last tribal. If Sam had an idol he definitely would have played it last tribal, sooo hopefully he finds nothing in the cave when he goes and we are still safe tonight to try and take him out. I am NOT taking a fucking leadership position in the vote again because knowing this idiotic tribe they will just want to target me because the are fucking blind to the fact that Sam has them all wrapped around his finger. If I feel as though I am getting votes tonight I am playing my idol, and Amanda and I will personally vote his ass out of here.
i literally just told tommy that dan gheesling is me cousin-in-law and he’s like believing it so basically we’re too loopy from this game.
Final 6 vote is gonna be huge. there’s no way around it. I certainly don’t feel safe, which is why it’s imperative that the same foursome of myself, tommy, ting ting, and linus all stick together again. If we can manage to split the votes between ashley and amanda, then there will be a 2-2-2 vote, and I’m expecting 2 to be against me, so if one of them plays an idol we can still force a revote. if they both play an idol then i’m royally fucked, but if the split can still go down then I’m willing to play it that way. If only I could get Linus to reply to my pm’s though…
it’d be so dope to be in the final 5, with a decent shot at winning it all. aahhh!
“Would you rather be top three or fourth?” -Hayden Moss So I’m the last fan. Wow.. I’m honestly shocked that this somehow happened. I feel like this could all collapse on me though. I am arguably in the best position I’ve been in all game, but grrrr, I feel like it could all crash down on me with one wrong move. Last vote I was kind of on the outside of two groups and chose the side of tommy, Sam and ting. This round though things could get interesting :) . I feel like Tommy, Sam and Ting have a f3, so in considering making this an iconic 3-2-1 :P
So I just made an f3 with Linus, Amanda, and myself. The plan tonight is to take out Sam. Linus says the plan Tommy wants to do is Ting Ting and him voting me, and Sam and Linus voting Amanda. Not only am I pissed at him but I literally just wanna punch him in the face. So basically I sent Linus a message and told him about the f3 Tommy, Amanda and I had had before the whole Leah shit happened. I told him that Tommy left and stopped talking to us like the second we mentioned wanting Sam out and that I was concerned that they had some kind of an f2 going on. Linus agreed and figures that they would want to take Ting to the end rather than him anyways. So he agreed to an f3 with Amanda and I on the grounds that we promise l not to cut him off and vote with Ting if we got to the f4. Amanda and I are of course okay with this, we just want some stability at a tribal that either one of us could leave at. Although tbh I am playing my idol tonight because just in case Linus is a snake, I at least want to be safe. I think I am trusting him, but just to be sure.
I hate confessionals. They suck ass. I don’t know what to write and they take a while but WHATEVERRRRRRR. Anyways, Tommy came up with a genius plan for tribal that we split the vote 2-2-2, with 2 on ash, 2 on amanda, and then amanda and ashley vote however they want (probs together) so that if they play an idol it’ll go straight to rocks and then we can put the majority on whoever we want. This vote should go as plan but idk it’s ts and who knows what’s going to happen. Also i hate live tribals they give me so much stress. Omg I remember the very first time we tried to get Sam to go. It was before merge and he was supposed to be like first out. And Tommy was like “Eh, I think we should keep him instead of Gaston” and gave these really stupid reasons why but everyone went with it. Ugh THESE TWO HAVE BEEN TOGETHER SINCE LIKE THE VERY BEGINNING AND I AM JUST NOW SEEING IT. WE SHOULD HAVE FUCKING KEPT JAY.
YES THE LEAH BLINDSIDE WORKED! I BEAT MY ORIGINAL PLACEMENT! THEN I JUST WON IMMUNITY RIGHT AFTER! HAHA YES! This is starting to work out perfectly! Final 5 and Finale episode here I come. The only problem with this vote coming up is this vote coming up. I’m getting a weird feeling now that something may be off. We planned on a 2-2-2 vote to tie it up. I suggested Me and Ting Ting vote Ashley and Linus and Sam vote Amanda because just in case last second we feel Linus is going to flip Sam can flip and vote Ashley. Ashley is my target this tribal because she’s super smart, sociable, threat in challenges, and a jury threat. If she goes this round I think it almost guarantees me a seat at FTC which is amazing. I just need to keep pushing I’m almost there but I have to keep fighting all the way until the end to get my spot in the Final 2/3. There’s a fire inside me, and I need it to turn into an inferno.
tommy keeps sussing me out like this is our most important tribal of the WHOLE GAME LIKE DONT SAY ASHLEY HAS A PLAN LIKE THAT MAKES ME SQUIRMY we’re planning to split like i just need things to happen the way they’re supposed to and tommy is like implying i should flip but if it blows up then IM FUCKED i don’t wanna lose because of ASHLEY NOT TALKING TO HIM THATS NOT COOL
I just don’t have good experiences with changing votes at the very last point that you can (s/o to Kauai), so like I would absolutely hate to vote myself out again. I can’t do it.
