elijah knew it that there would be a slim chance if the situation ever actually happened, that he'd be able to save both. but he would do it. he couldn't live without delaney nor his family. but he knew davina wouldn't ever trust him -- not after what he's done to her time and time again. "and if i ever do anything to her to warrant killing me, i'll go peacefully. but i will not hurt her." he presses. the threat she gives isn't missed, but he chooses to ignore it though he knows it'll weigh on him like it always does. elijah also knows that she'll have eyes on him, and that delaney will obviously tell her sister what's going on. "unfortunately, i don't have eyes on the back of my head," the vampire quips. but he raises his hands in defense. "you don't have to believe me, davina. i'm clearly not going to force you."

“a  way  to  save  both.”  davina  repeated  with  a  huff.  there  was  a  bitter  taste  in  her  tongue  the  moment  he  said  that.  the  flashbacks  of  her  dying.  watching  marcel  drop  after  elijah  snapped  his  neck.  nibbling  onto  her  cheek  as  she  looked  up  at  him,  “well  just  like  you,  i  will  kill  whoever  i  need  to  if  that  means  protecting  my  family.”  a  family  she  didn't  have  for  long.  a  family  she  barely  found.  a  family  that  was  barely  a  family  with  satan  himself  being  her  father.  “i  don't  believe  a  word  that's  coming  out  of  your  mouth,  so  i  would  watch  your  back  if  i  were  you.  one  wrong  move  and  i'll  be  there.”

i love all your mikaelson metas and i just wanted to remind you of these little bits in 2x17 where Klaus takes Freya to see Esther. Klaus saying to Esther while Freya's there that "he's happy she gave Freya away so that he could be born, consider me an upgrade", i always felt so bad for freya in that moment. to have your traumatic experience thrown in your face by somebody you've spent years searching for? ouch.

in that same convo, esther says that she made the deal with dahlia because she thought she wouldn't miss the one child she was forced to give up. and my god esther that's awful.

freya and Klaus are such parallels, freya is a parallel to quite a few of the siblings actually (klaus, elijah, rebekah mostly). freya also getting to kill esther just like klaus did.

i have freya thoughts and opinions. two moments that warm my heart though are in 3x9 where she tells elijah that this is the best christmas she's ever had and in 3x13 (Heart Shaped Box) when Klaus saves her because that moment at the end feels like when freya finally feels fully settled into the family.

love those scenes you pointed out. I think klaus sees a lot of himself in freya in s2 and that's what fuels his distrust (aside from the regular paranoia). there's a scene (can't remember the episode) where cami says that klaus of all people should have compassion for freya and he responds that it's because of their similar upbringings that he distrusts her: "I know better than most that whether the parent raising you loves you or loathes you, they still form who you are. After all this time, am I not Mikael's son, and isn't Freya just as dangerous as Dahlia?" klaus is appalled when compared to mikael in earlier seasons but here he's able to admit to it here, which is a nice speck of growth. I don't think he would've done that if he wasn't confronted by freya, who's his mirror at times. they're both ruthless and selfish in their own ways. freya also shares her ruthlessness with elijah, as well as her self-sacrificing nature, and I agree that her wants and struggles are very similar to rebekah, except as the older sister she isn't as suffocated with the brothers authority and overprotectiveness.

it's painful seeing them fight each other in s2 when they all have the same enemies! and really sweet to see them finally come together as a family

Her POV

I was walking down my favorite trail I always go here to escape my parents. My parents always hated me my father was worse. He would always beat me with whatever he could find and today was especially worse. All because I dropped a small bowl of porridge, it wasn’t on purpose my mother “forgot” to mention that it was still too hot so my father decided to take a long thin tree branch and struck my arms until they were bruised and bloody.

Walking towards my secret place by the river I make it there but stop dead in my tracks. In my view there is another person by the river right where I sit he was a young man. Tears streaming down his face he seemed broken, just like me. Not wanting to disturb him I took a step back hoping not to catch his attention but of course I stepped on a small branch and the crack reached his ears. “Hello.” He spoke “who’s there, Elijah?” He called out to someone not wanting to scare him I decided to walk towards him. He was very attractive I could not lie. We lock eyes and the minute we do I feel drawn to him. “Hello.” I softly speak he looks up at me then I realize there are tears in his own eyes as well.

He turns his face not wanting me to see him cry drying his eyes he looks back and says “hello.” I come closer to him. “What your name?” I ask politely he speaks “My name is Niklaus Mikaelson.” He beckons me to join him I sit next to him and say “my name is Fleur Salvatore.” I extend my hand for him to take “it’s a pleasure to meet you.” He takes it and we shake hands “ I know it’s concerns me not but why were you crying.” His eyes meet mine beautiful hazel green eyes. “My father he…” he hesitates for a bit and looks down “he has hatred for me, I don’t know why he does.” I suddenly get a pang of pity for I know all to well what he feels “my parents hate me too, they beat me almost everyday for the littlest of reasons.” He meets my eyes again but I look into the water instead.

I want to try and make him feel better so I bring up fish “why do fish breathe water?” Looking back him and seeing his now confused face. “Why can’t they breathe air like us humans.” Seeing that I am serious he chuckles and it instantly cheers me up as well. His laughter velvety and rough at the same time.

“Why a peculiar mind you have.” He says with curiosity

“What I am serious?” He shakes his head “They are fish not people.” I shrug

“That doesn’t really answer anything.” I say with a small smile.

I look back at the water and pick up a small rock throwing it into the lake and watching all the little fishy’s disappear away from each-other. He’s still looking at me.

I look back at him “what is it?” I ask “you’re different.” I sigh “I know I’m odd.” “No you’re not.” “You’re a like rare flower.” I look back him blushing I smile being so thankful that he doesn’t see me as odd as my parents and many others do. Our eyes meet again I could get lost in his are faces mere inches from each other I look down at his lips they look soft. He comes closer as our faces close the space between us my breath hitches “FLEUR, WHERE ARE YOU LITTLE GIRL?” I jump back “it’s my mother I must go.” He grabs my arm but i wince “he looks at the blood almost not wanting to let me go “ I’ll be okay.” Reassuring him he lets go “come back tomorrow I’ll be here.” With that I am gone even though I wanted to stay.

The family meeting was loud, as I sat in the main office waiting for Niklaus to finish the bickering about which species have betrayed them now.

Elijah stormed out, angrily his footsteps louder as he walks further and further from the meeting room. Klaus walks out waving his arms in the air "another failed plan?" I ask Klaus who sighs placing his hands on his hips.

"No doubt he'll tell Hayley, confide in her and then come back." Klaus rubs his dome before walking back to the meeting.

I was allowed into the meeting's it was all up to me whether I wanted to join or not and given the fact that they're the most dysfunctional family around, I'd like to not attend their meetings.

Stepping into the meeting room Rebekah sighs "Niklaus tell Y/n your plan, she's your best friend." her british voice said calmly yet annoyed.

Klaus turns to me, his face said it all "Oh Klau-" "It's a very understandable plan, Y/n, just listen." he says trying to reason with me.

"We send Hayley out to the bayou, they will chase her and then Elijah and I will chase after them. They won't suspect it." the words left his mouth and I practically slap myself to see if I was asleep.

"that or you could tell Elijah about your silly little crush before Jackson drops dead and Hayley starts getting with Elijah." Klaus said in a sassy tone and my eyes widen "what has that got to do with anything" I practically yell.

"I don't understand what y/n's crush on our brother has to do with your plan Nik." Rebekah says and I nod, agreeing with the baby of the Mikaelsons.

Klaus reforms his plan, everyone finally agreeing before they all go their separate ways leaving Me, Klaus and a bottle of bourbon.

"I was serious about the whole telling Elijah thing, Y/n." Klaus says running his hands through his hair as he sits down on his high throne. "I was serious about what that had to do with anything, Niklaus." I cross my arms sitting on the sofa.

Niklaus was the first one to know about my feelings for his older brother, he wasn't exactly told more or less he heard me chatting myself up in the mirror.

"look Elijah only has minor feelings for Hayley, you and I don't want them together so if you fancy him more than her, he needs to know." Klaus says tapping his black fancy pen against the desk and I shake my head.

"For all I care, Jackson will remain alive thus meaning she won't act on her feelings for your brother and until I figure things out, it will remain a secret." my voice was mellow, trying not to let the older brother listen in on our conversation since he was still in this very house.

"Y/n, I'm the king of the world, it didn't hurt when I told Caroline how I felt about her." he folded his arms over tossing the pen on his desk and I sigh "yes but i'm not exactly the queen of the world though am I?" I question him.

He shrugs "you could do that silly karaoke thing you do, seduce him." Klaus winks and I throw the nearest object at him which was luckily a pillow, he laughs tossing it back.

"I'm holding this to the grave, if I ever die before you, write it on my headstone 'loved elijah but never told him'" I say as Klaus scoffs rolling his eyes at me.

"and with a memory like yours... you won't forget." I smile to him "I honestly think Elijah is quite seriously blind, maybe the age is getting to him." Klaus says getting up to sit next to me.

"and I may not see you as a lover, or a hot one night stand, but you are still very beautiful." Klaus says placing a hand on my thigh "So is Hayley." I say in a worried tone as if Elijah was being stolen from me like he was an object.

"And you can't say otherwise because she is the mother of your beautiful baby girl." my voice sounding more and more disappointed with each word "but Hayley, is married." I say, an idea coming to mind.

"she is married." Elijah walks in, stepping carefully towards the balcony. I turn to Klaus who gives me a wide-eyed look before exiting the room.

"so, you shall speak now, i'll listen otherwise you can forever hold your peace." the elegance in his voice as he opened the balcony doors revealing the bright sunset of New Orleans.

"i'd rather hold my peace... forever" I say before turning around to exit the room as he just appears in front of my confused and slightly flustered face.

"i never noticed it before, the admiration, pure fascination visibly displayed on your face. Of course, my intention was never to listen in on your conversation with my brother but I heard my name and I couldn't help but wonder..." he says raising a hand to my cheek before pushing a few strands of hair out of my vision.

"if this fascination is truly based on your devoted feelings to me, or, if it is just because i am... me." he says cocking an eyebrow waiting for a response out of me.

Stammering on my words failing to get a full word out of my mouth he smirks "hayley may be a distraction to me, to you she may be more than a distraction." he continues .

"I-, no." I finally speak and he shakes his head "this sudden interest in my conversation, no." still stuttering and stammering Elijah steps closer, his hand not leaving my cheek.

Trying to leave once more he stops me.... once more.

"you will not leave, you will not move, the only thing you will do is tell me." he says "i said i'd forever hold my peace..." "that was sarcasm, now, you will tell me because... you care.".

he wasn't wrong, I did care but words couldn't form in my mind to tell him.

"should I help you?" he asks gently "yo-" "i'm in love with you." I cut him off and his face seems shocked, the words coming out of my mouth feeling so surreal. To tell an original that I was in love with him despite not having the guts to ten minutes ago.

"i mean it wasn't a big secret but since you're so obsessed with your brothers baby momma, you haven't been able to open your eyes past her." my mind had finally cleared after saying those five words, it was easier to say when I thought about it.

Removing his hand from my cheek I shove past him, he doesn't stop me instead he moves closer to the balcony before saying anything.

"if i had told you, I loved you a century ago. You wouldn't have felt the same." he responds "because a century ago, Hayley wasn't in the picture." I admit before turning around to see him nod.

"so if Hayley, wasn't here, in this life. You wouldn't have told me." he spins around and I swallow my pride. A century was a long time ago, a confusing time but a long time ago nonetheless.

Yet, even though I had only been alive for half the amount of time the Mikaelsons had been alive I was able to make a profound connection with each and every one of them except for Elijah. I always thought we were destined for more than just friends.

Fate always got in the way of course, Celesté and now Hayley and this time I was jealous, jealous that the only woman other woman in his life was the one who had his devoted attention despite being married.

"Well if it weren't for her, I wouldn't have realised that I have a serious loyalty problem to the Mikaelsons, Klaus included." I jokingly say but the look on Elijah's face remained serious.

"you have a profound connection with her, so I thought I'd let it be, nothing would stem from it given her child with Nik. Then it got serious, the glares, occasional glances to her even though she's married. I got J-" "Jealous, I'm familiar with that feeling." he hummed sitting down, my eyes following him.

"1000 years, I think you're all too familiar with it." I chuckle lightly as he nods pouring himself a scotch "exactly" he says.

"but you won't say anything, nothing will go on from this and i think you agree as much as I." my voice getting quieter "i disagree." he says standing back up "i say we give it a try." he whispers and my jaw immediately drops.

"if a century ago has taught me anything it's that you act on something when you feel it. That's what you're doing." he says "I don't know if i'm impressed by this outcome or if it seems completely forced." folding my arms "oh it's forced but thats the fun of it, we don't tell anyone. We test the ways of the water, if all goes well we'll run off somewhere." he chuckles getting closer.

"if it doesnt?"I ask "then, everything goes back to the way it was before the feelings." he says placing his hand out for me to shake it "so this is forced, like an agreement?" I ask him "sort of" he shrugs and I shake his hand "i'm not disagreeing." I wink "great, a fake sort of relationship." he smiles "yes" I chuckle.

"I swear if you use me to make Hayley jealous, I'll give you hell" "I'd never use you for my own benefit, not only would Niklaus kill me so would Kol, Rebekah and Marcellus" he rolled his eyes.

I'd be eternally screwed if anything in this 'relationship' goes bad.

And even though a part of me wanted something real with him, I guess I'm desperate enough to take any relationship with him whether it's fake or real.

Leaving the room I immediately place my head in my hands, what did I just commit to.

"if only. i'd be far more powerful than i am now." he doesn't care about that though, if he were honest. he's never been like niklaus in that regard, always craving to be stronger, faster -- better than everyone. it's one of his brothers' fatal flaws. "i suppose in some regards. i have less to worry about when it comes to being killed, at least."

tvdu 'they were made heroes because they'd be unstoppable as villains' edition.

warning: writer of this post is suffering from serious post-vaccination delirium.

~ first is stefan salvatore, obviously. he's the ripper. if he was a villain, he'd make a very good one. probably last a few seasons or maybe till the finale and stuff (brought back from the dead). don't see him as the main villain, probably a sidekick of sorts.

~ second is bonnie bennett. don't see her as the villain type because her goodness far outweighs her negative qualities. but she'd make a very good villain if we considered the vendetta she has against vampires in particular (S2, she refused to help Caroline but later conceded)

~ third is klaus mikaelson. obvious choice, he was a wonderful villain and had a fantastic redemption arc. if hope hadn't been conceived, he would've still been causing a lot of chaos.

~ fourth is elijah mikaelson. he's very unpredictable. decapitation is his favourite killing method. has a charming personality and a way with words. very dangerous but we all still love him

~ fifth is damon salvatore. very dangerous. literally assaulted women; caroline, andie the reporter, elena, etc. and that's creepy as hell.

~ sixth is hope mikaelson. tribrid, the most powerful creature. firstborn mikaelson. power could've gone to her head and corrupted her, something like that. right now, she's on a no-humanity spiral which serves as proof.

~ seventh is freya mikaelson. let's be honest — she's the mikaelson firstborn. highly powerful. she was kind of a serious threat to hope in TO S2 and even went to great lengths to subdue dahlia, making elijah wary of her.

~ eighth is josie saltzman. she could've made a slightly annoying, yet highly powerful villain of sorts thanks to her being a gemini witch. if she became a heretic, she'd be even more of a threat.

~ ninth is elena gilbert. this is a conflicting thought of sorts. i can't say she'd make a nice villain, but I sometimes see elena (this is coming from an elena stan) and I analyze both her good and bad sides. sometimes her bad side shines brighter (like how she killed kol) and it kind of leaves an impact that is sometimes frustrating to ignore. maybe the tvd writers could've let her go down to a path where she ends up corrupting herself thanks to vampirism and then become an unstoppable witch-vampire hybrid by tapping into her Petrova heritage (and ruthlessly kills a lot of people) bonnie could've killed her along with the destruction of the other side. elena meets kai in the prison world and it continues on and on (potential kailena?) and then in the future, we could probably see a elena-katherine team up. grey opinion, but very interesting.

~ tenth is alaric saltzman. tvd S3 serves as fantastic proof that alaric is a better antagonist than a protagonist (tbh he's literally a deuteragonist because he protects hope and at the same time, he disses klaus and the entire mikaelson legacy in front of her) as evil!alaric, he literally spiced up the tvd S3 finale and it was just so good.

~ eleventh is rebekah mikaelson. partly, because her antagonistic side was shown only against elena and her banter with caroline didn't feel like a hero-villain convo, more like a rivalry banter that was enjoyable. regardless, she is very ruthless, there's that too.

Haylijah. Child. 

     OKAY! Okay. So this started out as a semi-joke, offhand comment in passing to @enduringlystoic​ ‘imagine how cute a Haylijah baby would be’ & that’s all the permission my brain needed apparently to go off. I may or may not have accidentally spoken this child into existence, even if we have no clue about the magic or supernatural circumstances that would ever make this happen. While I still dabble & wonder about whether resurrected Hayley gets brought back as a true hybrid because she technically died as a hybrid with her wolf nature bound. I assume she would be brought back by her ashes as it’s her original body, but would the spell and magic used bring her back as a vampire, a hybrid or would it somehow unbind her wolf nature and gets brought back to life as her werewolf self?

This doesn’t even BEGIN to go into Elijah’s side of the equation, Original vampire and all considering there would absolutely be no quick fix or else Rebekah would’ve already been there & done that with her desire to start her own family. Supernatural fertility issues seems like an incredibly lucrative market right now. But what’s important is all of my shippy fangirl ridiculous soft feelings about how happy Hayley & Elijah would be. This also led to hours of weird baby name lists and lots of terrible options that has left Rhi worrying about both mine & Hayley’s sanity. Hayley was not the best at baby name options, okay? Sorry Zoe, Caitlin, Angela or Katherine. Even with a ‘C’ that’s a solid no from us. While Elijah would want a strong foundational name, my Hayley would hate anything traditional or simple like Thomas or James etc. etc. They can both be extra af and pretentious, and don’t think that we’re still thinking of naming this child Amadeus because we absolutely are. HOWEVER. The name I really fell in love with is still so far out of left field, I don’t think anyone else has been on board but me. Mikolaj. MIKOLAJ. This is where the deep dark web has taken me. It’s a Polish name meaning ‘victory of the people’ but I was super drawn to it because the prefix ‘Mik’ reminds me of Nik/Niklaus and the suffic ‘laj’ reminds me of Elijah. It’s pronounced ‘Meek-o-lie’ & obviously Elijah would pronounce it very similarly to the way he rolls Niklaus and that’s perfection. It makes for an adorable nickname Miko that he would absolutely go by and Hayley also exclusively refers to him as ‘Wolfie’ per her own nickname for him. (Also from the throwback of a time in the convo she wanted to legit just name her child wolf in various languages or name meanings.) Catch me enjoying an entire thread where a heated argument ensues over Hayley & Elijah discussing names and probably not agreeing for days. If you’re even still reading this, honestly bless you because this is just excited & happy rambling J as usual. I don’t deserve you and I’m so sorry you actually follow me or care about my content when I’m actual trash. BUT. This beautiful cherub-faced child would have Hayley’s hazel eyes but Elijah’s lustrous locks. Hayley would never want to cut it, so probably for a majority of his childhood he’d have long beautiful curly hair and with Elijah as a father and Mikaelsons for a blood line this kid would also be impeccably dressed. It would turn lighter in the summer because he’s always playing outside and the sun would give him natural highlights and a darker complexion and I think in combination with our Cottagecore/simpler country life verse their child would love being outdoors all the time. When he’s still young enough, Hayley just loves to read to him with him on her lap in a rocking chair and read him his favorite book about trains over and over again until he falls asleep. Hope would be the most incredible big sister to have even as half-siblings and Hayley getting to be a mother a second time especially with Elijah is just joy. I’m probably never letting this go now, but thank you for coming to my TEDtalk.

El rumor de una fiesta empezó a correr por los pasillos, su ubicación era dicha en secreto así como quienes la organizaban y cuando sería, pues obviamente una fiesta de esta índole nunca sería permitida por el director y mucho menos en la situación actual. Pero sin duda parece ser lo que los alumnos necesitan.

¿De qué trata este evento?

Los alumnos Elijah Gerard, Frederick Mikaelson, Sophie de Martel y Angelo Cassano organizaron una fiesta en la cabaña del bosque y sus alrededores cercanos. Con la intención de relajar un poco las cosas y olvidarse de los problemas que han ocurrido recientemente.

¿Los profesores estarán presentes?

No dado que es una fiesta clandestina por lo que estos pueden rolear fuera del evento si lo desean.

Pueden abrir starters, utilizando el tag #salvatoreschoolstarter .

Pueden abrir los starters que quieran pero tomen en cuenta que más de 40 personajes, por lo que les permitiremos cerrar starters. ¿Qué quiere decir esto? Si ya no quieres más replies a tu starter, enviarás un ask al main pidiendo que se cierre.

La actividad se cuenta a partir de dos starters respondidos por personaje.

Por favor, traten de contestar todos o la mayoría de los starters con todos sus personajes.

Podrán abrir starters privados pero darle prioridad a los starters abiertos generales. Si solo respondes estos no te contará como actividad.

Timeline Season Four-B (Chapters One-Seven)

For Future Reference: Chapters 1-7 are being called Section One or The Willoughby Chapter, in keeping with the TVD-Originals tradition of splitting the Seasons into parts. Not sure if this will come up again, but just in case.

There's been a bit of a timeline shift from the show's canon (or at least what the timeline on the wiki says is canon, though I'm a little skeptical on whether that's all correct), so for those paying attention to this sort of thing, I just want to clarify.

So, for the first section, here are the times I came up with...it all pretty much happens over the course of 12hrs, though, so, here:

5 March 2019:

1400-1430 EST: The Kiss/Humanity (CH1-2)

1515-1600 EST: Elejah talk, Katherine/Rebekah/Salvatores bicker, Kalijah breakup (CH3)

1600-1730 EST: Beklena talk, Delena talk, Beklena discuss Cure (CH4)

1800-1900 EST: Elijah returns, Elejah talk about feelings (CH5)

1900-2330 EST: Elejah blood share, Rebekah thinks about Elejah, last Kalijah convo, Beklijah discus Cure, Mikaelson phone call, starting back to Mystic Falls (CH6)

2330-2359 EST: Klaroline “friends then” convo (CH7)

I'll probably update this in later chapters, just to keep from spoiling anything here and now, so watch out for those changes.

¿De qué se trata este evento?

Es la despedida de soltería de Hayley Marshall y Elijah Mikaelson. La primera organizada por Rebekah y Freya Mikaelson, y la segunda por Klaus y Kol Mikaelson. 

¿Cómo estará dividido el evento?

El evento será realizado en un gran salón ubicado en Garden District, el cual estará dividido en tres: 

Despedida de Hayley, zona este: espuma, brillos, luces y alcohol, acompañados de música de todo tipoy bebidas alcohólicas. Actividades y juegos, y más actividades de la índole.

Zona centro, ubicada entre ambas despedidas: zona neutral en donde podrán interactuar todos los invitados, con música en vivo, comida y bebidas (no todas ellas alcohólicas). 

Despedida de Elijah, zona oeste, espuma, brillos, luces y alcohol, acompañados de música clásica  de todo tipo y otros, y bebidas alcohólicas. Juegos y actividades diversas de la índole.

¿Es un evento simultáneo a Voodo in My Blood?

No, se hacen con un día de diferencia. Primero las despedidas, luego el evento de los linajes. 

Si cuento con más de un personaje, y quiero abrir en los eventos, ¿se podrá?

Warning: I rant with feeling so this probably reads as butthurtness or something I’m not really sure, but I promise this is more of a “questioning writing/theories” type post not a hate (insert character here) post. Nonetheless here’s your warning in case you don’t wanna see ^o^

OKAY so I have a m a j o r issue with Davina’s death number one like, out of eVERY POSSiBLE pERsoN TO kiLL hEr I didn’t expect ELIJAH to have ANY PART OF IT and tbh neither did I expect Freya to and here’s why:

Kol is their brother.

Kol is ONLY ALIVE BECAUSE THIS WITCH LOVED HIM DESPITE YOUR BULLSHIT and BROUGHT HIM BACK TO LIFE

I get it, okay. You needed power to defeat Lucien, I’m not denying that. But even KLAUS said to find another way. KLAUS. AND HE WAS WELL AWARE OF THE DANGER EVERYONE WAS IN BUT HE WAS LIKE “NO DON’T” BECAUSE HE DAMN WELL SAID AND KNEW THAT IF DAVINA WAS HURT KOL WOULD BE LOST TO THEM, AND MARCEL AND WHOOPS!!! GUESS WHAT HAPPENED??? KLAUS WAS RIGHT.

God it just reminds me of that powerpoint slide thingy about Klaus’ plans always being the best plans but no one listens and then people die and they blame Klaus

Not only that but Klaus had just lost Cami too and I can only imagine how much her death destroyed him and opened his eyes too like has anyone else noticed how much more...light is always in him, like in everything he does? He values people more and relationships&stuff and I was watching the first few eps on DVD of S1 the other day and in one of their convos Cami said; “I don’t believe in evil as a diagnosis [...] you have unstable personal relationships, anger issues, stress related paranoia, fear of abandonment...” and just- it makes me think Klaus was trying to spare Marcel from losing his daughter to the Mikaelson feud (again) and his little brother who he just got back and had to watch die TWICE the pain of losing someone so purely precious to him the same way he lost Cami.

And then yanno Klaus is sitting by Hope’s crib and he just looks at Freya and basically says “bitch you didn’t listen df are you talking about there’s not shit to celebrate this is a failure with a capital Fuckyoujustdividedourfamilymorethanit’severbeen.”

AND JUST SO YOU KNOW FREYA IS (WAS?) LIKE MY MOST FAV MIKAELSON BESIDES KOL AT THAT POINT I JUST CAN’T BELIEVE SHE’D STRAIGHT UP MURDER DAVINA IN SUCH A HORRIBLE WAY LIKE YOU WERE STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER AND SHE WAS SCREAMING AND CRYING AND SHE WAS JUST A CHILD OKAY WHEN SHE SCREAMED FOR MARCEL AND THEN ELIJAH HELPED FREYA BY SNAPPING HIS NECK I WANTED TO SET MY TV ON FIRE

SO the fact that she’s dead at all is a major problem for me but then like ????? Marcel ???? WHY did you get SO ANGRY at Klaus like it was his fault she died???? KLAUS WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL MARCEL YOU TOLD FREYA+ELIJAH NOT TO KILL HER?????????????? It WASN’T KLAUS’ FAULT DAVINA DIED and EVERYTHING MARCEL DID IN THE FACE OF HER DEATH TOWARD KLAUS WAS EXTREMELY UNCALLED FOR ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU TIE IT BACK INTO THE EVENTS OF 4x01

Honestly Marcel’s always been a back-and-forth character for me; he can get SO DOUCHEY sometimes and it just always seems like he’s always fighting the war just for power, as opposed to the Mikaelsons who fight for their family’s safety and protection (since I noticed they really don’t start shit until someone threatens them tbqh) and even with Davina it’s like...I don’t know, s1 Marcel was ok (I guess? but even Klaus saw the bs with how Marcel was treating her kinda) but even after she came back he’s just always trying to keep her contained or out of the loop like when he helped shunned her from being regent.....I can see he did it for her by trying to protect her but on the other hand it’s like...do you not even see how much you just destroyed her spirit? It’s like Jeremy Gilbert all over again like, whiny teenage character only sucks when treated like a child but the second you clue them in they turn into super warrior badasses. And do not even get me started on the Strix and how Davina handled that. YES BREAKING KLAUS’ SIRELINE WAS BAD VERY BAD I UNDERSTAND BUT Marcel didn’t even try to discuss anything with her, or explain, or LEVEL WITH HER in a way she’d understand he just directly undermined her after promising to back her up and just I don’t understand the writers sometimes I really don’t.

Also based on 4x08 while the ending implied more Davina I don’t get why she was demonized, so obsessed with killing Klaus (again, why, writers?) especially because I don’t believe she’d just fucking kILL HIM when she has to know how much he means to Hope, and then have Hope shove her back into the Ancestral Plane and basically shoot down any HopexDavina friendship that could ever happen should Davina ever be resurrected.

ALSO ALSO WHERE THE FUCK IS KOL WE WERE PROMISED KOL AS A MAIN CAST MEMBER FOR SEASON 4 WHAT HAPPENED I MISS NATHANIEL BUZOLIC GDI I WANT HIM AND BEKAH SCENES THEY’RE CUTE AND I WANT BEKAH X HOPE + KOL X HOPE SCENES SIGH

P.S: I do not hate any of these characters or their relationships I just don’t understand the fluency in events at moments and I love the show it’s my most favorite show and it’s such an epicly divine story of grey-and-gray morality I love all the Mikaelsons (esp Hope AWW) and all the others this isn’t a hate post kthnx.
