✨Galaxy Anon ✨ here!
Alright what’s the schedule? Lol
Yes same to that sentiment. Yes like I actually feel bad sometimes when someone gets me something since then I can’t refuse it and also sometimes I’m not crazy about it but the thought counts. It is sometime I wish I can turn it off but nope. I mean ay least we are responsible with money.
Alright. Let me get the list
Helluva Boss
The Owl House
Amphibia
Arcane
Gravity Falls
Sunny Day Jack
My Dear hatchet man
See Thru: Need a Friend
My Hero Academia ( though have lost interest on later seasons and manga)
Tokyo Revengers
Fnaf ( more into lore than games. I love reading fanfiction about it it’s fun seeing theories)
The rest I have to remember but I like more anime and shows but these are the ones I indulge into the most. Hmm what’s wrong on aliexpress? Not trustworthy or selling it for crazy prices? I hope you find it soon viví!
Wow it really was that bad though can’t blame you I don’t think that work environment is good for you especially still in school. Do what I couldn’t do and pass the math. I’m serious I literally think I would’ve failed a grade from it. Ooh what kind of tips if I may ask?
Thanks viví especially you waiting for my replies and sorry again for taking awhile. I do my best to respond the fastest I can but it’s so busy in life sometimes I barely even have to wind down. It’s always great to see your replies and hear from you as well!
Ooh so cute! Any songs in particular you recommend or love to hear while driving?
Seriously it is like that. Your basically in danger for showing basic human decency for being tricked and hurt by horrible people it’s crazy. If your not paranoid you can get easily hurt worse. That’s why I just like staying inside so much. At least you have enough bravery to do that, I hate people hearing my music unless I let them and it’s rare. I mean seriously not even my family hears a lot of my music since it’s so personal to me and also I’m afraid they look at me weird for my taste. My music taste is wild. So yeah I don’t even take chances doing that since I feel self conscious and since I have terrible hearing well unless I want the world to hear I can’t do the same shame.
Honestly yeah. Yeah and on the other side there are people who demand your attention even if you visited there table twenty times and get mad if you don’t visit for four minutes it’s ridiculous and get mad at me for it. Thankfully most are patient. Yeah at least I’m used to it also so I have more patience.
Also to answer the other thing I said about having a break don’t worry viví! Tell your brain to shut up and have a break otherwise you’ll get stressed from the pressure. I mean at least you have a schedule but don’t be afraid to take a break on it. You make these requests for free so people shouldn’t demand you make it right away. Vivi’s brain let them rest!
Lol I'll have to get to you on that one
Oh i know my old friends use to ask how I always seem to keep money. I had to gently explain to them that they don't have to buy everything they see. I was not the favorite that day 👀
All of those I've heard of but never been into the fandom. It's hard for me to get into shows. I really want to cause it'd what everyone is into, but it's hard for me to watch it. My mind wanders and I do other things completely ignoring the show. Don't get me wrong I have shows, but not a lot.
That being said I wouldn't hearing about them! I don't mind spoilers if you don't mind questions. Who knows maybe talking about it with you will make me watch it! Also from what I understand it's like wish and I don't trust clothing that come from wish.
Honestly If it a gets really bad I'm getting a tutor I'm determined to pass and get my degree. Won't lie it scares me a bit but I'll do what I need to. Since it was on semester it was basics such as meditating, Journaling (that one had helped a lot by the way) and finding the little joys. If you point out something positive at the end of the day it helps you see the day as good rather focusing on the negative.
Honestly, that depends on my mood when I'm driving. But I can give you some of the songs that hyper fixated on lately!
Honestly, I think it is just because I have never been able to hide away till recently so anything I listened to everyone heard. The only downside to it is now I have big loud speaker in my house that my neighbors hear on the daily. It hasn't been a complaint yet (cause I usually play it during the day and turn of off the closer to dark it gets) but waiting. The only playlist I keep to myself if my "when the clouds come" type of playlist if you get what I mean.
The people who want your attention the whole time they are there make me upset. I just don't understand where that entitlement comes from. They get upset when people mess up their work day so why do it to others?? Ugh
I know 😭 thank you for worrying about me 🥺🥺💕💕

Can I have some HCs about Venti and Diluc getting jealous when reader, whose single, starts flirting with a stranger
“Jealous Headcanons: Venti and Diluc”
Hii,I’m sorry for the wait but here it is :)
I decided to keep the “stranger” gender neutral too,I hope you don’t mind
Thank you for requesting ☺️💜
Venti
Tumblr media
-Venti has a very devious attitude and can be very brazen, which shown many times in both the manga and the game
-He’s also not frightened of mocking or dismissing those who are considered to be dominant
-Venti is constantly craving your attention like all the time  and he is a very persistent guy
-Clingy is a word that suits him very well
-He is also very touchy,so get used to it :)
-This man absolutely adores you and anything that is about you
-However,he can be rather impulsive
-Even with his naive personality he’s still an Archon and know when to get serious
-So the moment he sees you flirting with another person he just -stops-
-“Why are you flirting with them?” “Why are you letting them rest their arm around your shoulders?”
-He is fully aware that you are free as the wind and can do whatever it is that you want, but you are the only person that kept him close and believed in him after he told you about his real identity
-If both of you were in a relationship,Venti would be completely confident in you turning others down and would love to show off how adorable you guys are together
-But right now,you are single and flirting with another person
-What makes him feel really insecure
-If that person were the one to make you happy then he should be happy too right?
-He’s an immortal Archon and you are human,so it’s obvious that some day you will leave him
-But he doesn't want that to happen, not now at least
-He slowly composes himself and put his usual happy-go-lucky smile on his face while making his way to you and the stranger
- “There you are {name}!!” he says as he jumped right between the both of you and clung to your arm
- “Oh! Hi Venti” you were used to his clingy behavior, but something seems off “is everything okay?”
- “Yeah, acually no-” he eyes drop and he starts to pout “You promised to listen to my new song today, but you are here with-” his “hurt” tone quickly switched to a sassy one when he looked up to the knight in front of him “them”
-This bard can be extremely sassy when he wants to
- “Your new song! You said is about something precious to you right?”  “Yup,a very important song”
-You couldn't say no to him,he was one of your dearest person after all
- “I’m sorry Akihiko, but I need to go” “don’t worry, see you around {name}” the knight was smart enough to get the message that Venti was your person and you were his
- Venti turned his whole body to you before saying in a very cheerful voice “Well then, let’s get going”
-And with that, you spent your day with a bard that loves to sing and tease you.
Diluc
Tumblr media
-Diluc is very emotionally detached, bitter and can come off as cold to most people
-He hates wasting time on small talk and quickly becomes impatient
-Diluc is the type to show his affection through actions not words
-A light touch on your shoulder or bringing something for you to eat after a mission when you visit him at the tavern and say “don’t worry about it,just eat it”
-He probably will greet you a good morning/afternoon/night when he sees you and will ask how you are doing
-He doesn't like to meddle in others peoples business and will avoid anything that is going to give him an unnecessary headache
-He has his own business to attend after all the holy darknight hero
-However,when someone interrupts your conversation with him, things can get quite interesting
-Both of you were out cleaning some hilichurl’s camps when one of the travelers appeared
-“{name}? It’s been awhile since I last saw you,how are you doing?” their sentence may seem innocent but their tone was rather sly and flirty
-As everyone already knows, this man hates chit-chat and having a stranger flirt with you like he’s not even there was bad
-But having to watch you flirt back was even worse
-This man’s glares is so intense,it’s like your soul is being closed watched by a hawk poor traveler
-He  will wait “patiently”  until you introduce him to the unknown person in front of him
-He’s only going to nod and turn to you “{name},we still have business to take care”
-Deep voice and serious face, that's how Diluc looks/sounds like when he is jealous
-After spending some time with him,the first thing you learn is to read his expressions so you could easily tell that he was irritated
-“I can help you guys-” the poor traveler tries but Diluc is not having it anymore
-“I don't think we will be needing any help...from you” he answers with a sharp tone
-He turns his back, giving you a little sign with his head for you to follow him
-you said goodbye to your friend, that was still in shock by the man’s powerful aura, and went to catch up with the redhead  unless you like the idea of being burned alive, then you can stay :)
-The rest of your day will be with him answering you with “hm”
-And believe me,he will pout
-To get him in a good mood again, offer to play chess and have some grape juice with him after work
-Showing interest in his hobbies makes him very happy even if he doesn't admit it

Hiii! Can I please have a (male)
Hiii! Can I please have a (male)my hero academia and food wars matchup please 🖤atchup please 🖤
She/her bi.
Personality: I am very empathetic, always trying to keep the people around me happy (even if I'm not in the end) I hate disappointing people so I can over work myself sometimes. Mostly I am kind and polite, but a I get very sassy moments (I can also be very sarcastic). Im also kind of reserved when I first meet someone and it can take me awhile to show my fun, goofy, happy side to them Aquarius, infj I like reading books, writing, listening to music (mostly kpop). I also like to go exploring like in the forest or even abandoned places I also love cooking and baking (more so baking tbh) sometimes I stop in the middle of talking because I think I talk to much (I've been told many times that I do so I just try not to really talk in a way)i play with my hands a lot, I have a really high pitched (idk sorta cute?) sneeze, I can be very clumsy (I literally tripped on air once😂) when I do something scary my hands shaky after I've done the scary thing (if that makes any sense) What I look for in someone: someone who has a good scenes of humor, is kind and friendly, who can match my level of dork also 😂 and who won't judge me ( and also give me food and cuddles)
(I'll only be doing Food Wars, since I already did a My Hero matchup for you. I hope that's ok. ^_^)
I pair you with...
Tumblr media
Soma Yukihira!
You love cooking? He loves cooking? Perfect match!
You and Soma act as each others taste testers.
Soma isn't much of a reader (unless manga counts), but he'll give a book a chance if you recommend one to him.
He (highkey) finds your sneezes adorable!
He likes to kiss your hands when you get scared or startled.
Since you like to bake, he'll give you sweet sounding nicknames like: cupcake, sweetie, sugar, honey, and cinnamon bun.
He'll make you personalized breakfast's and lunches.

Heeyy....Sorry if I'm disturbing you. I know that it's been a month since you posted wip tag, but I really do want to hear about your snippet of Hawks using Edgeshot as a perch! Hawks sensei was my first time reading bnha fic and seriously it was the best experience in my life. I adored the way Hawks interacted with other pro heros such as Jeanist and Edgeshot(+obviously Miruko) so I wish I could see more of their relationships with subtle distance because of Hawks' way of pushing people away.
How could you possibly be disturbing me when you’re so sweet?!
I should be sorry for taking forever to answer this! The Edgeshot perch wip is actually in the works as a gift for a friend so I hadn’t wanted to spoil anything for them, but it’s taking some time so I also don’t want to leave you hanging any longer thinking I might be ignoring your ask (NEVER! I just take forever to check things! Or Tumblr eats them, cause it’s rude like that).
I unfortunately can’t give you some snippets from the Hawks and Edgeshot perching wip, only because it’s gonna be a gift, but I can give you some Pro-hero and Hawks interaction blips from “To Be A Hero” that I couldn’t fit in because they were absolutely sequel things that would make the length of the story ridiculously long!
You mentioned you liked the Jeanist interaction, so I hope you don’t mind that he’s the one in the snippet! Spoilers for the manga!
For anyone that hasn’t read “To be a Hero” Hawks is now living with Shinso (who he’s known and bonded with for awhile), Aizawa, Mic, and Eri. Hawks is, sadly, wingless. He is staying with them while healing.
Hawks was up and against the wall the second he heard the front doorknob start to rattle. A key was clearly being used, but that didn’t mean anything. If he wanted to sneak up on someone paranoid he would pretend to have a key too. Lull them into a false sense of security. No, he had to wait until-
“Hawks,” Shinso called, “I’m not here to kill you.”
Hawks rolled his eyes. His legs were still a little shaky, but he could at least go meet the irritating teen in the hallway as he kicked off his shoes. It was a bit odd he was home before the others but not unheard of-
“Ugh,” Hawks’ already dismal mood soured further.
Jeanist, who was aligning his shoes just right, went from horrifyingly soft to insulted in half a second.
“That is no way to greet a guest, Hawks,” he lectured. The slight breathy quality to his voice only made Hawks even more disgruntled.
“You’re not my guest.”
Jeanist looked a bit wrong footed at the sharp response.
Hawks sighed when Shinso’s brow furrowed, the familiar concern rising to the surface. He pasted on a smile and waved his hand.
“Sorry, Jeanie. Just a little on edge. My pain meds are wearing off. You get it.”
Jeanist stared at him, head tilted just a bit. He was taking up most of the space in the little entryway, but only because of his height. Any of the bulk he’d had before, and he hadn’t had much honestly, was gone.
“I certainly do,” he murmured. It set Hawks back on edge but he really couldn’t keep doing this to the people Shinso kept trying to bring by in some misguided attempt at making him ‘socialize’.
Even if keeping him here was part of their deal, he couldn’t just ignore how hard the kid was trying to help him (real heroes, the good ones, didn’t give up on lost causes. It was a shame Shinso was turning out to be such a good one).
“So are you two just going to hang around there, or are you coming in? Pretty sure Aizawa-san talked to you about hovering, Shinso-kun.”
Shinso’s worry morphed into embarrassment.

congrats on 300 hun💕✨ if you’re interested, would you mind doing some sieglinde/wolfram headcanons? sfw and nsfw are both alright in my book- whatever sparks your interest ig!
I’ll start with the sfw ones and then end with the nsfw. Gotta save the best for last. ;)
Sieglinde and Wolfram continue living in London after things with the Undertaker and Ciel are resolved, though they often travel so Sieglinde can meet with various scientists, such as Marie Curie, who is one of her personal heroes. She also became fast friends with the then young Albert Einstein. Later Sieglinde would be instrumental with the development of his theory of the law of relativity.
Due to the constraints on women at the time, Sieglinde initially began publishing her scientific research under Wolfram’s name. Otherwise it wouldn’t have seen the light of day. She accompanies him as well when he is invited to speak at universities around the world about “his” discoveries. Wolfram goes along with this for awhile, especially while she is still a child. However, once she comes of age, it was the butler who ultimately convinces her to take proper credit for her work.
Wolfram and Sieglinde’s relationship remains that of platonic friendship, Wolfram taking on the roll of caretaker during Sieglinde’s childhood and through early adolescence. He, always the dutiful and attentive butler and she, the kind-hearted mistress. Throughout this time he would carry her whenever they left their London house, would rub soothing ointments on her feet when they ached because of oncoming rain or when the winters would turn cold, and would ensure she continued to eat and drink properly, even when she was consumed in her research (if not, she would go all day without taking in any nourishment and end up confined to bed the next day while she recovered).
Puberty came late for Sieglinde, when she was 15. Though, honestly, no matter when “the great change” occurred, Wolfram would never be prepared. He was scared shitless when Sieglinde came to him, hands bloody and in tears, complaining of a terrible stomach ache. Though Sieglinde knew much about biology, there weren’t many resources on women’s menstruation. That, combined with the lack of feminine influences in her life left her terrified as well. He had called for the doctor immediately, who, upon examining the young woman was kind enough to sit down with the butler and explain that nothing was the matter with his mistress. What was happening was completely natural and the young woman simply needed plenty of rest and an iron-rich diet for the next week or so. Though the next day, Wolfram visited Nina, who happily visited to explain to the both of them how Sieglinde could best cope with this change. After he had the proper knowledge, though, Wolfram was just as attentive to his mistress in this area as any other in her life. Every month when her time came he would dote on her, in his awkward way, and would provide her with heated towels and herbal teas to help with the pain.
However, when puberty came, that was when Wolfram’s problems began. He had first noticed it when her dresses began to grow tight in the bust and hips. Then came the thinning of her face, her appearance less like a child’s and more like a woman’s each day, accentuating the plumpness of her lips and the healthy blush that dusted her cheeks. After a few months, there were times when Wolfram would notice Sieglinde’s gaze tracing his form, a confused hunger in her eyes, as if she was seeing something for the first time. All of these stirred an unbidden hunger of his own, but he did his best to dismiss them, hanging onto the frail thought it was because it had been some time since he had been with a woman. Though the moment when his desire for her became undeniable was when he was assisting her with her leg strengthening exercises. When she pushed against his hand which secured her foot, her skirt slid back, revealing where his hand rested on the side of her thigh, testing the muscle there. He felt his cock stiffen as his gaze followed the soft, milky skin if her leg, the the swell of her thigh and rear. Without thinking, he squeezed her thigh, kneading the supple flesh. She was beautiful, he thought as he gaze continued to travel up her lithe feminine frame, until his eyes met hers. The look he saw in her eyes almost made his knees buckle. He had expected disgust or fear, but instead he saw only desire. His cock twitched at the realization. She wanted this. She wanted him. Shame washed over him when his erection pressed against the bed and he dismissed himself, offering a quick apology, before all but fleeing from the room.
The next two years would be filled with this back and forth, both mutually desiring the other, but not acting on that desire. Occasionally they would share a kiss, but only on special occasions like birthdays and holidays, afraid of what would happen to their relationship if they became more than mistress and butler, more than friends. But that changed on Sieglinde’s 18th birthday. The strong-willed, independent woman initiated things and by then Wolfram could no longer deny himself, nor her, consequences be damned. Their first time together was gentle, sweet, and slow, but no less passionate. Wolfram’s previous experience helped him work Sieglinde through the initial discomfort, until she was a sighing, mewling mess beneath him. She came, and would always come, first, just mere seconds before Wolfram pulled himself out of her just in time to release in his hand instead of inside her.
Wolfram is a fairly simple creature when it comes to sex, changing positions being the most adventurous thing he thinks of. Though he has one condition- he has to be able to see her face. Whether that means she's facing him or a mirror, he wants to see the way her delicate brows crease, her kiss-swollen lips parting, his name reverently dripping from her tongue as her eyes close, her head leaning back as her face reflects nothing but enraptured bliss when he brings her to climax. He is also a huge fan of blow jobs. He had initially been opposed to the idea, believing such an act beneath his lady. Though the moment he looked down to see her on her knees, red, swollen lips around his cock, the warm, wet muscle of her tongue teasing his tip, her hand stroking what she could not take in her mouth, changed his mind immediately. The only time he faltered was when he caught her lusty, half-lidded emerald gaze. It makes him come immediately every time. Generally he's a gentle lover, fully attending to his partner's needs and finding his fulfillment in that. Though nothing makes his blood run hotter than when Sieglinde corners him without warning in a place like a carriage or a private room at a noble's house, wasting no time to unbutton his pants and lift her skirts to ride him mercilessly until they both come, fast and hard, their necks and shoulder littered with scratches and bruises that will be difficult to explain away.
Sieglinde is the more adventurous of the two, often suggesting different things to try. Though most times she is the more dominant one, she enjoys it more when Wolfram is in control. She craves the strength and power she can feel rippling through his muscles as he presses her close and thrusts into her. And she relishes in the trust she shows him then. She wouldn't allow any other partner to dominate her in the ways he does, but she trusts him implicitly. That being said, she is down for literally anything, even enjoying light BDSM and wax play. She enjoys studying her lover and learning what pleases him most. Though, as much as she enjoys things like toys, blindfolds, and the occasional exotic asphyxiation, the thing that makes her weakest, that makes her clench greedily around Wolfram’s cock is when he's so enraptured by her, by them being together, that he slips back into German while he fucks her.
I hope you enjoyed these. I’ve not given much thought to the Sieglinde/Wolfram ship, simply because of Sieglinde’s current age in the manga, but it was interesting and fun to think about how things might develop between the two as Sieglinde grows into a woman.
Thank you so much for this ask and for supporting my work! You’re so kind and sweet and I appreciate what you bring to the fandom. I can’t wait to read your Sieglinde/Wolfram fic! It’s in my (ever growing) “to read” list. <3 <3 <3

Legend of Zelda midnight thoughts post!
This is actually something I’ve been thinking about on and off for awhile, and I’m not sure I’ve discussef it:
Reading the Twilight Princess manga, and knowing its canon that the shade that teaches TP Link is actually OoT Link, it kinda amuses me that even though Ganondorf was threatening OoT Link and Zelda at the end of OoT, OoT Link managed to find a proxy to fight Ganondorf again through. I don’t think the various Links are related but more like reborn in different people, but not even quite that since of course OoT Link wasn’t reborn, he’s just become this undying shade. So its more like the idea of Link is reborn.
I do think its interesting that we see OoT Link go from this boy, suddenly to a man, then back again but still has all his memories, carries the secret of Ganondorf and stuff with him, continues to be a soldier/warrior, presumably lives to become an older man, dies, becomes some kind of Force ghost (its probably shouldnt be a surprise that Akira Himegawa worked on that official Luke Skywalker manga: Zelda has a lot of Star Wars influences), and then is helping the new Link defeat Ganondorf.
I like to contrast Link with Ganondorf and Zelda because the latter two I see as the origin of the Triforce snd subsequent battles over it. Of course, the three goddesses created the triforce, its just that Ganondorf/Demise and Hylia/Zelda fight over Hyrule/Triforce, inadvertently causing their own reincarnations.
I consider the origin of the goddess Hylia into Hyrule’s royal bloodline to be canon (Hylia mourns Link and his sacrifice and wishes to be reborn whenever he is, this sealing both their fates). I consider it canon bc it was included in Hyrule Historia. You must remember that Nintendo is really filled with nerds who live this stuff, and Akira Himegawa have worked with Nintendo for over 22 years now. I actually can’t think of any artist contractors who have worked with them longer. At this point, they’ve worked on Zelda for almost two thirds of the time the franchise has existed. I used to argue with people on this point, but let’s use the star wars rule: if it doesnt explicitly contradict the games, its canon.
Anyway, what I’m really trying to get at here is also how much we actually know about Ocarina Link compared to other Links. We may actually have a fuller idea of his life and afterlife than any of the others, which I think also speaks to the enduring popularity of that specific game, but everyone has their favourite games.
What I really liked about BoTW was that the game fleshed out Link and Zelda more. Why is Link so quiet? I enjoy the fan theories, especislly because i appreciate how people have been able to project themselves into Link, which was one of his original purpose. I also appreciate when he is coded in a way that gender is less hard coded. It’s helped that Miyamoto himself has sometimes spoken of Link being played live by a woman. But in BoTW, learning that Link speaks so little due to anxiety, it feels very familiar. It takes Link from mythic hero to very human. I also appreciated that it is one of the few games where Link and Zelda start off more or less as enemies. At least, Zelda is hostile to him, even more so than she wasas Tetra in Wind Waker, probably the only game before BoTW that saw Zelda as less a helper than something of an antagonist.
I hope Nintendo continues to explore these characters through different lenses and situations. There’s so much potential. Also: I miss Ganondorf.

OOC: Hi, it’s been awhile since I drawn Luze actually ... Currently working on finishing a drawing of Luka at the moment. 👀
As for the ask here, this is how I felt in the manga when it comes to introducing a relative of a protagonist. Yes, Luka is the most beautiful of all Opast to ever exist. But then what about his twin that was just introduced at around Chapter 21 of Uraboku Manga? He should have been treated in the same level, yes? I felt as if the author of Uraboku introduced waaay too many characters to keep up to the point where they lost track on who would appear at times and what reason to.
More below.
This is what I think. The author was too focused on the hero side of the story and so they introduced the heroes and their relationship throughout the WHOLE entire story. I felt as if the villains side had no balance at all during their introduction. But I was glad that they introduced them all for just a moment. But after that, the villains felt like they were thrown out completely.
Trust me. Being interested in villain side of the story is my thing. I love to have a good balance between the heroes and the villains to know more about their history. Give me more Opast lore and Infernus lore, and it will be a good balance for sure. But the author ... I would honestly have to say, kind of did not succeed at that point. You may think of me as a hater or a biased, but reading through the manga actually made me disappointed because it dragged on and on and on ... Again, mostly on the heroes side.
Aaand this is where Luze feels excluded because of this.  But also, I would understand that Luze is treated as a “replacement” because that’s just another different story. I guess from this answer here. However, if anyone out there is going to introduce a sibling or relative of a protagonist especially like the infamous Luka Crosszeria, you would assume that their sibling/relative would have the same status or more lore. But the author just kinds of shows him, then completely tosses him out, treating him as a side character instead.
I was so confused at this point. One, he is THE twin of Luka the main traitor of his clan and Duras. Two, Luze is considered as the right hand man of Reiga THE main villain of the series. Three, He and Luka BOTH lived in a family that would have A LOT of history because of their horrible past that could have made the manga more interesting. Isn’t this all spitting out notions that Luze should have been more shown in the spotlight?
It’s completely unfair since the author focuses more of the “slice of life” between the relationship of heroes only in the manga and anime. To tell you the truth, I sometimes skimmed halfway through most of it just to see the villain side only to find myself a little desperate to take a break seeing all the Zweilts and the “questionable relationship” between Luka and Yuki. Luze makes a debut at Chapter 21. Then 34, a major appearance. Then a little at 40 (God forbid me for showing his hair down). But then it takes about 19 whole chapters to introduce him again as if the author was like, “Oh yeah, he exists.”  But the worst part is, which ... I do get from the author’s case of her real life situation, she completely scratches out battle scenes that COULD HAVE been seen from Luka and Luze and just makes Luka say, “Luze was told to retreat after they fought for awhile”. There’s so many things I want to say but Luze definitely feels lesser than Luka. Overall, I really wish the author followed the example from Final Fantasy XII. Basch’s and Gabranth’s story would have made a great example to escalate Luka’s and Luze’s relationship more. Even if it’s permanent resentment. Just pray that one sibling does not die, killing each other. qq
And that’s why I write stories on his perspective in this blog and draw him often. I want him to be equal to Luka as possible and maybe with my canon, hopefully reach to how his personality would be like around those he loves or hate. ... And I hope I don’t go waaay too out of character for him when I do so.
Thank you all so much for dealing with my bullshit!! slk;afdhfh;

so. yugioh vrains is over. the last episode has aired.and with that in mind, with three seasons of this show, i’ve still got a lot of feelings about this show. especially that last episode. so i guess this is sort of the final thoughts and feelings post about yugioh vrains. not the last post in general about yugioh vrains. just the big opinions post, i guess, because there’s a lot.
yugioh vrains was good
yugioh vrains was very good. i liked it a lot. and me liking it a lot is the only criteria here for whether i’ll say it’s good or bad. i liked it! so it’s good.
i’m also very thankful that vrains has broken a curse yugioh has been suffering for awhile now. we’re talking about the dub. and no, i don’t really care that much that the dub censored some bullets, i think it’s funny, but i don’t care otherwise. this is just about general dub quality. zexal’s dub was bad. written bad quite a bit of the time, and a lot of the voice acting was just, not good. arc v, i can’t speak for the writing, because i only have seen like ten episodes of it, which is to be fair more than most people on this website, but the voice acting in arc v is atrocious, it’s worse than zexal. i’ve seen 20 episodes of the vrains dub, and look, i know. i know arc v’s main villain sounded like iago from fucking aladdin, i know that dub yusaku is voiced by someone who did voicework in zexal. but in 20 episodes of vrains, there wasn’t a single voice i didn’t like. the voice acting in vrains is good. and the dub is written well! it’s actually funny! i think i actually laughed more with the vrains dub than the sub for those 20 episodes. you know how the zexal dub tried to be funny every episode but it was just obnoxious? vrains was actually funny. the jokes are actually good. it’s been awhile since yugioh’s been dubbed well, and it was refreshing. the only thing i don’t like about the dub is that it only airs in canada and it’s impossible to watch in like any way online. i’m not done watching the dub btw eventually i’ll be able to watch more and i will watch more and i’ll be back here in this tag. if nothing else, i’m hoping it joins the other yugiohs on hulu or something when the dub’s done in like, two years. and if there’s a vrains manga i’ll definitely read it but like. shrugs on that.
the show’s got big megaman battle network, code lyoko, and the world ends with you vibes. i’m not saying this to knock vrains or anything. i love vrains. but if you like any of those games/shows, and you haven’t given vrains a chance, even if you haven’t watched any other yugioh series, i highly recommend it. the card games in vrains were very secondary to the story itself, and i think that went a long ways here, it worked well.
so like, how was vrains, how did i feel about it
season one...season one was really good. in hindsight, season one had some good foreshadowing for season three. season one was probably my favorite season, though, but not by much. season one showed yusaku in school the most and i actually loved all the school scenes. revolver’s a really cool and interesting character, and while i’m glad he stopped being a villain after season one and went the sort of anti-hero route, revolver did make a really good villain. uncovering the mystery of the lost incident was fun. a lot of people guessed early on that revolver was both the person yusaku was trying to take down and the person he was trying to save, way before yusaku himself figured it out, but that wasn’t a bad thing at all. i’m pretty sure the show wanted the audience to figure it out before our protagonist, and the reward itself felt pretty rewarding. revolver has cool dragons, yusaku got a cool dragon, ai got insulted a lot, kusanagi was there, definitely a solid season.
season two was easily my least favorite season. bohman and blood shepherd kinda ruined it for me. thoguh, to be fair, blood shepherd didn’t do much. he gave us an excuse to get some takeru flashback, which we could’ve gotten through other means, and he sort of revealed judgement arrows and helped everyone be able to prepare for it, but like, anyone could do that. i hate blood shepherd a lot, but he’s easy for me to forget. i forgot him between episodes a lot, actually, and when he’d show up i’d have to be like, oh that asshole exists. bohman was worse because he was the main antagonist of season two. and he shouldn’t have been. bohman wasn’t a good villain imo! i feel like he wasn’t written super well. i can sort of make him work out in my head, but i don’t like him, and he kept just pulling ideas out that seemingly came from nowhere. he’d make these leaps that were hard for me to follow, and this was after lightning stopped messing with his memories. and since bohman was the main antagonist and because i really didn’t like him, it made it hard for me to enjoy season two. there were other good things in season two. takeru joined the scene in this season, and i love takeru a lot. i require apologies from everyone who didn’t trust my man takeru. lightning was a really good villain (lightning should’ve been the main antagonist imo), was very interesting, and i liked lightning a lot. and hell, haru was alright! i kinda wish they did more with haru. season two wasn’t bad by any means. we also saw the story of how kusanagi and yusaku met in season 2, and those were some of my favorite episodes of the season, along with the yusaku vs kusanagi duel. the story and message was good (though that doesn’t boost it up a ton given season 3 had the same messages) but honestly i just really don’t like bohman.
season 3 is very close to being my favorite season. this is the season of the protagonist having to face against their partner. it happens in like, any yugioh where the protagonist has a partner. vrains didn’t disappoint on that front. this season felt short! season two felt like it dragged on forever and season three felt short. it didn’t necessarily feel like it needed to be longer, when it ended, though. i just wish the show wasn’t over lmao. everyone got baited super hard like episode 1 when everyone thought queen would be the next antagonist after lightning + bohman and then she super wasn’t, which was kinda funny. most of hte time this season i was just yelling at ai to tell me the truth. i loved roboppy and ai this season. and im SO sad about what happened to them!! ai and roboppy were written really well, they made really good villains. i’ll definitely be making more posts about ai in the future. and also, that epilogue though!!! i didn’t get into it when i watched bc i was in a hurry, but!!! jin looks really happy, i love his haircut! and kusanagi is keeping the hot dog truck open so that yusaku still has a place to come home to! im gonna cry!!!! the knights of hanoi are all super good now and i love them. akira’s the ceo of sol!!! it’s what he deserves!!!!! and the whole takeru + kiku scene was really nice. everyone was screaming about that ship being canon now, which i guess it is? i didn’t read it as romantic, i read it as “kiku is a little scared about everything with vrains and takeru is helping her feel safe and secure, like, making sure she doesn’t fall off his hoverboard and shit”. i honestly read it more as takeru still being gay for yusaku while thinking about how cool yusaku is lmao. but i know yusaku + takeru will never be canon, i never thought it would be, and knowing yugioh, takeru + kiku im sure is supposed to be canon so like. it’s not a bad ship. i’m surprised how many people i see like that ship? but it’s just not for me i guess. im happy for yall who wanted this though. and that last scene!!!! we saw ai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i’ll save thoughts on that another time i guess, including yusaku post that time skip.
i liked shima a lot this series. i honestly wish there was more of him lmao. i mostly wanted more yusaku + shima interaction, not in terms of shima finding out yusaku was playmaker, i just wanted the two of them to bond more. i wanted to see more of them being friends (read: shima forcing his friendship on yusaku and yusaku reluctantly goes along with it but actually likes it more as time goes on). and i wish we got to see takeru in the duel club at least once. takeru and yusaku both going to one meeting and yusaku sleeps through it and takeru is pumped and like taking notes and shit and shima is just like how can yusaku sleep through it this is the best!!!
aoi....i have mixed feelings on. i liked her a lot in season one, and i liked her a lot in half of season two. i really don’t like the blue maiden avatar (i did like blue girl!), and i preferred the trickstars over marincesses. i did enjoy her figuring out yusaku was playmaker though, that was a fun scene. i like aoi a lot still, love that girl, but after a point i stopped liking what they were doing with her.
they did ghost gal dirty. ghost gal was GREAT in season one. i loved her. and then they gave her a brother, her brother was shit, and everything about ghost gal got thrown out the window so that her character could revolve only around her shit brother. i feel so bad for her. i mean, i kinda get it? this whole thing’s about bonds, a lot of the bonds focused on were familial bonds (either in the blood family or found family sense, there was both). but ghost gal was already developing a sort of family-ish bond with akira and aoi by that point. i never felt like she needed anything else. she still could’ve done cool things in seasons two and three without having a shitstain forced into her life.
im madly in love with kusanagi and if anyone says a single bad thing about him i will stomp you to death with my hooves
i’m running out of people to talk about here i can’t avoid it anymore i’ll talk about blood shepherd now. i hate him. i hate him. he’s an idiot. i’ve yelled about this before and i’ll do it again. some shit happened to him because of malfunctioning ai or whatever. cool. great. now he has a grudge against all ai. that makes no sense. if im playing basketball and i get hit in the head by a basketball (by accident) am i gonna blame the basketball? no, i’ll either blame the person who threw it or myself for not noticing it and letting myself get hit. if i sprain my wrist playing volleyball am i gonna get mad at the volleyball? no, i’m mad at myself for messing up and playing in a way that caused that injury. if i get in a car accident because my car brake stops working, am i going to blame the car itself? maybe a little, but not as much as either the manufacturer or, if i recently had work done on the brake, the mechanic i visited. see, these things are all inanimate objects with no malicious intent or free will. since vrains is one of those shows, it may sound cruel comparing an AI to a car or a basketball. but the ignis (all generations, we’ll include pandor and bohman and haru in here for simplicitiy’s sake) are a special case. the ignis specifically stand out because they were made with free will. other artificial intelligence does not have that. it cannot have malicious intent. artificial intelligence cannot do anything it is not programmed to be able to do. it cannot hurt or kill someone, unless it is either programmed to have that function, or you’re looking at an ignis. and blood shepherd KNOWS THIS, because he became a hacker, and even REPROGRAMMED AN AI THAT WASNT SUPPOSED TO LIE TO LIE FOR HIM. along the way, he would’ve had to learn that somewhere. an ai malfunctioned and caused blood shepherd and his mom to get in a car accident. the ai itself isn’t to blame for that! that’s the fault of whoever made it!! or if the car was hacked to cause that problem, it’s the car manufacturer’s fault! you blame those people!!! and if blood shepherd went after those groups it’d be fine! instead he goes after artificial intelligences because he’s the biggest fucking idiot the world has ever seen. this does not make sense, even in the vrains universe, because again, the ignis are the only ai with free will and who can make their own decisions. any other ai cannot do something like this on purpose. the solution is to make ai better, not get rid of them. the solution is to improve security. not get rid of ai. at this point ai is so ingrained in society that you’re not gonna accomplish that anyway. oh, and i hate blood shepherd for what he did to ghost gal’s character. other than that, he was cool for two episodes before we learned his bullshit backstory, and he hasn’t done a single thing i liked since except he died twice, and i liked those parts. i fucking HATE blood shepherd. easily one of the worst yugioh characters ever. i could rant on about bohman, too, but im tired.
i don’t have bad things to say about a lot of characters. yusaku, kusanagi, jin, ai, roboppy, revolver, lightning, aqua, akira, earth, go onizuka, windy, i don’t really have bad things to say about them now that the series is over. i liked them a lot!!! they were really good.
i guess the bottom line of this is, i wish yugioh treated its girls and its “joke characters” or “comic relief characters” better. and i wish bohman and blood shepherd didn’t exist, or were executed better. other than that, very solid.
if you were curious about my preferred ships here, yusaku + takeru is the best ship this show has to offer and it’s a shame more people don’t like it, and miyu + aoi is really good. anything else is like, okay, but i don’t love it. the show’s most popular ships are fine but not for me. yusaku + ryoken is okay but doesn’t really work in universe for me, i don’t love it but it’s fine, and it’s aight in a like real au setting. i don’t think there’s any ships i don’t really like, not like, other than the obvious. but these two are the best.
all in all, vrains was really good. this show helped me through some real bad times, and will continue to do so as bad times continue. i love it lots, it holds a special place in my heart, and im glad i was able to watch it. im excited for whatever yugioh has to offer next, especially following this, because vrains is definitely one of my favorite yugioh series over all. it was a lot of fun and made me suffer and cry a lot and it was just...a good time. please watch it if you haven’t. thanks for going on this journey with me. i’ll probably end up talking more about bigger characters like yusaku and ryoken and takeru and kusanagi and ai more in different posts. ive talked enough here already

Favorite Manga/Anime
Kay, so If I'm gonna start posting stuff onto here, guess I gotta do some journaling kinda stuff.(It is a blog after all) Alrightly then, guess I'll start off with something relevant to the original content I will frequently post, Manga/Anime. There will be a lot that I love that aren't on here, but these are my personal favorites.(LONG BLOG I AM SORRY)
Top Anime:
Honorable mention - Amon - The Apocalypse of Devilman OVA - Kay so I'll be the first to admit, I'm a total edgelord.(one of my bands is a death metal band) and this one is GORY!! It's depressing, messed up, dark. It deviates from the Manga storyline but I always go back to it, plus that ending OST is amazing.
10.)Monster Musume - I probably should be extremely embarrassed about liking this one...but I'm not, it's amazing. Perverted? Yes. Weird? very. So much weird T&A action goin on that it's nauseating at times? oh my god yes. That being said, IT'S HILARIOUS!!!
9.) Pop Team Epic - Ever wondered what it's like in hell? This show. This show is literally meme hell, to the point where you lose brain cells if you watch it too long. It's great. I recommend it, after watching a decent chunk I wanted to scoop out my eyeballs and play tennis with them. That may sound like a bad thing, but trust me, it's an amazing feeling.
8.) My Hero Academia - Kay, so I'm not caught up on this one, buuuuut it's motivational as hell. I don't think I've ever rooted for a protagonist to win at something more than I've rooted for Deku. The popularity of the show speaks for itself but, damn, what an awesome underdog show.
7.) Jojo's Bizzare Adventure - SONO CHI NO SADAME!!! JOOOOOOOOOJOOOO!!! I still need to catch up on this one too but I love this wacky, music reference filled, insane show. I doubt I can really say much that hasn't been said already bout it. So on that note ORAORAORAORAORAORAORARARA
6.) Noir - Highly underrated anime. Bout two female assassins, one played by Monica Rial. Refreshingly dark and realistic, this awesome tale is set in France and is haunting, to the point of where I still come back to it after years and years of watching it. Quality anime that has slipped under most people's radar.
5.) Mirai Nikki - I said I was an Edgelord, right? Think this one cements that status. Home of the best Yandere in all of anime, I doubt I need to sing it's praises. Yuno Gasai is a well known character for a reason. Love this insane series.
4.) My Bride is a Mermaid - I'll admit, when I first saw this on Netflix and began watching it out of boredom, I didn't think I would like it. Matter of fact, I was sure I would hate it. I don't typically like cutesy things, edgelord here, I despise things that are cute and cuddly (Cept for cats). But HOOOOLY HELL this one was funny. Best part is? It doesn't rely on pervy imagery to be hilarious, it is humor at its purest. Comedy anime at its finest.
3.) Samurai Champloo - Sa-sa-sa-samurai champloo! Woooo where do I begin? Three misfits, Edo period Japan, Hip-hop related adventures, and badass fight secenes? Count me in! Made by the same people who made Cowboy Bebop, even has Steve Blum voicing Mugen, so you know it's good.
2.) Saikano - Kay so don't judge an anime by its art style. I repeat: NEVER judge an anime by its art style. This one is cheesy, yes, and the English Dub is horrible. THAT BEING SAID, it really does not go where you would expect it to go and one scene in particular had me shedding...manly...tears-It's sad, ok?! That character didn't deserve that death scene!!!
1.) Neon Genesis Evangelion - Ahhhhh yes. The creme de la creme of #toodeepforyou. Highly intellectual and artistic, this DIY amalgamation of a series hits many notes for me and came to me at a time where I needed it most. It's slow but if you allow yourself to be patient and analyze what is at first appearance a confusing, psychedelic nightmare, you'll find yourself in for a treat. Best part of the series for me? The movie End of Evangelion. You watch the series, you have to watch the movie. End of discussion.
Top Manga:
(BEEN AWHILE SINCE I'VE READ MANGA SO IT'S ONLY TOP 3)
3.)Inuyasha - The original Manga that got me into anime/manga. Rumiko Takahashi's work is very near and dear to my heart. I just remember the feeling of reading these for the first time in Middle School, I don't think I knew manga could be this cool when I firt started. The demons were legit terrifying, you couldn't help but root for Inuyasha and Kagome. Mindblowing stuff for an 11 year old.
2.)Berserk - Probably the one manga I still retroactively read. Dear god, it's excellent. The story, the fantastic art, superb writing and character development. There is a reason I want to get the Brand of the Sacrifice Tattooed on my neck. Guts is arguably one of the most sympathetic anti-heroes ever written. This is another series that really entered my life at the right time. No matter what terrible things happen to Guts. He lives on, he fights through his literal demons everyday. Above anything else, he carries on. Will forewarn anybody hoping to check it out though, extreme depictions of violence and sexual violence. Series is not for the faint of heart AT ALL.
1.)Ranma 1/2 - Ahhhh Ranma 1/2. My absolute favorite. Every time I sit down and read this manga, I find myself genuinely laughing from one of the panels. In my opinion, Rumiko Takahashi's best work. It is an absolute comedy masterpiece. Pure craziness and absurdity. 10/10.

FULL METAL PANIC INVISIBLE VICTORY S4
Also after a decade FMP finally got a S4 😭 cause the last season aired back in 2005 and got the original eng dub cast back too consider FMP is pretty popular with the dub and good hearing Chris Patton as our fav Military Manic again and Luci Christian as our fav tsundere Kaname Chidori, Hilary Hagg which would be impossible to come back but she did as Tessa and yes Vic as our fav blonde playboy Kurz I even asked him when I met him as Supanova and yes he was happy to come back as Kurz again.
Also seeing how much Sousuke will grow as a character too at the beginning we knew well since TSR that he has feelings for Chidori so he’s picking up the pace now only till Tessa’s brother Leonard comes and takes Chidori away from him and of course he reveals to his class what his identity is that he had to keep secret and yeah they obviously blame him for Kyoko getting injured but he had to keep quiet but he vows to bring Chidori back to them and yep he is no longer working with Mithril he’s gone solo.
He vows to become stronger therefore he met Nami who works on mechs and hires him seeing he is able to control one unaware of his background at first till he told her what he is doing she refused at first but later decides to help him but only for her to get killed cold blooded by Kurama.
Sousuke eventually makes it to Chidori only for her to be taken again by his former commander also foster father cause yeah Kaname has a power of a whispered but he reunites with Melissa and Kurz and rejoins Mithril and leaves us hanging and lets hope for S5 to finish off the series.
Chris, Luci, Hilary and Vic’s performance was spot on same with the Japanese cast.

MY HERO ACADEMIA S3
I only started watching the full on series this year 😂 my bad I plan to watch it for awhile now but I just kept putting it off so I’ll just put about S3 since that got released this year.
Its mostly about these villains who plan to kidnap Bakugo and recruit him to the villains side since he had that villain instinct so during class 1.A and 1.B’s training camp that's where they strike and manage to take him but some class 1.A students plan to rescue him and that's Momo, Todoroki, Eiijiro, Midoriya and of course Iida who tagged along to keep an eye on Todoroki and Midoriya since the hero killer incident back in S2.
They manage to rescue him as All Might was fighting All For One he was holding back cause he didn't wanna hurt Bakugo but once he escaped he went all out only to be broadcast live on TV and for everyone seeing his weaker form he manage to stop All For One but also led to All Might retiring from hero work now he has to watch over young Midoriya who is his successor at One for All and also with Midoriya he damaged his arms that much cause he went full out on a villain during the training camp just to protect a young boy that the next time he breaks them he won’t be able to use his arms anymore so he decides to use his legs for One For All instead.
Also U.A had to protect its students from ever being target by villains again so they put them in dorms inside the school grounds to protect them and also the hero license exam was on the horizon and everyone except for Bakugo and Todoroki pass the exam and got their licenses but the end part when Bakugo finally realized Midoriya’s quirk and what it is and who he got it from.
He realize he got his quirk from All Might so he decides to challenge Midoriya at night which is yes breaking curfew during their fight he blames himself for All Might retiring cause he let his guard down and got kidnapped but Bakugo won at the end and All Might was there hearing the whole conversation so he told Bakugo on why his chose Midoriya and the origin about the quirk and Bakugo vows to keep a secret so now he only knows.
Both of them ended up getting in trouble cause they break curfew so they were confined to their dorms for 3 days only for 3 upper classman to come which leads upto S4 next year.
yes I also seen the film that was epic too.

THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS S2 REVIVIAL OF THE COMMANDMENTS
In season 2 is where things get serious with the demon clan or the ten commandments have been revived about 2000 years of being sealed and it was because of Meliodas sword that got taken in S1 and Elizabeth’s blood which is goddess blood that revived them and also the reveal of the seventh member of the sins who is more powerful than Meliodas and that's Escanor.
We learn more about Meliodas past and that he was one of the ten commandments which reveal that Meliodas is a demon and part of the demon clan but he turn traitor on them and now they are out for vengeance against him and the fact his 2 younger brothers Zeldris and Estarossa are part of the commandments too and seeing Ban reuniting with Elaine who was resurrected by one of the ten commandments and also seeing Meliodas at his full power he’s pretty much OP.
Also seeing the real relationship between Meliodas and Elizabeth and the fact he became a holy knight at Liones just to be beside and protect Elizabeth as she grows and she is the reincarnation of his former lover Liz or so we thought YEA I READ MANGA.
yes both Bryce Papenbrook and Yuki Kaji share Eren and Meliodas voice and Zeldris voice too and spot on to both of their performances.
Movie hasn’t been released online yet I’m still waiting for that.

Can i ask what (& why) Mina dragon is protecting?
You mean in the pic I posted? That’s just Baku and Kiri haha they’re there more for scale than anything else, really
Anon said:What role do Denki and Sero have in your take on the fantasy AU?
Sero’s a simple normal non-magic herbs merchant and amateur healer, Kaminari’s a lightning mage and a swordsman! They both also stumbled their way into being bards of sort, more for fun than anything else really - they used to travel alone and then they travelled together, till they travelled into the dragons’ territory without even realizing. Somehow, they managed to not die and get on the prince’s good side enough to be allowed to freely roam and maybe stay if they so wished
(they so wished)
Anon said:Ahh are you okay? If everything’s bad and all, feel better soon 🌟
Ahhhh, you’re sweet ;u; thank you!!
Anon said:Hey, I just really wanted to thank you! I only found you a couple months ago but your art has really inspired me. I owe a lot to you on finding an art style that’s comfortable for me. Not to mention, everything you do with Bakugou and Kirishima is the damn cutest thing and I can only love them more~! So thank you for all your lovely work!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh man that makes me super happy to hear!!!!!!!! I’m really really glad my messy art could help you like that haha and thank you so much for the compliments too aaaahhhh!!!!
Anon said:If you ever get around to some more fusions, how about some of the teachers with some students like midnight-bakugou and aizawa-momo?
ngl I have about maybe forty asks in my inbox with fusions suggestions in them, and I’m just letting them pile up cause… that au hasn’t been fun lately, but I think it might be again in the future? Maybe? So I’m leaving those there and waiting for inspiration to strike again - that said, I’m sort of intrigued about these specific combos :O why Midnight and Bakugou specifically? The more I think about this the more I can’t tell if what’d come out would be something sexy or just utterly ridiculous lmao
Anon said:Just imagine Kiri and Baku getting married, and Fatgum is the one to give Kiri away and they couldn’t decide on a best man so there’s like 5 people giving speeches and there are Manly Tears shed.
What do you mean imagine, isn’t this exactly how it’s gonna go hahaha tho I can totally see Bakugou being 100% unaware of the best man situation, at some point after maybe the third speech he’s like is this done can we go now but nope there’s more people - Kirishima has a vague idea of it but as far as he knew it should have been only Denki and Hanta and Mina? Maybe? Most of the oragization of the wedding was left in Mina and Kaminari’s hands after all. But since everyone noticed that Bakugou’s already short patience is disappearing fast and  since 1A is made of a bunch of assholes once Mina’s done Jirou’s like, okay my turn, and then it’s Deku, and then it’s Uraraka, and then Todoroki and Tokoyami and Hagakure and Tsuyu and Iida and Momo too why the hell not - Kirishima’s crying and laughing and Bakugou’s 1% touched and 99% ready to blow up, which, honestly, is exactly how a wedding between these two is supposed to end
Anon said:Hello.-wave- I know this isn’t a question but i love your art work and how you made Baku and his red haired boy friend (i forgot his name :( ) just bounce off each other so perfectly. Now I hope those two actually be a couple in the anime. :)
Ahhhhh I doubt they’ll actually become canon haha it’s a Jump shounen after all - but I’m glad you like the way I portray them!!!!! thank you so much!!
Anon said:TINY DRAGON BAKUGOU IS THE BEST AAAAAA (He’d be like the tiniest, bitchiest cat.)
HAPPY YOU LIKED HIM OMFG!!! and yes, yes that’s exactly how he is haha
Anon said:I wanna tell you how much I love you. Except… there are no words that can express just how much that is. I’ve tried writing to you off-anon before, but, I’m just too shy. (Even using anon, I’m really nervous.) Seeing your artwork always brightens my day. I enjoy reading your tags, comments, replies. I really appreciate your hard work and thank you for sharing it with us. I’m sorry for bothering you and you don’t have to reply. I hope you have a very lovely weekend!! ^^
You’re so sweet orz so damn sweet oh my god, thank you so much for every kind word ;O; I hope you’ll have the best week, anon!!!!
Anon said:Dragon Baku be lookin like a mango, I love him so much. Bless u Fran
A mango!!!!! Amazing, I was thinking about an explosion as far as colors go but a mango incredible I’m never unseeing that ever hahaha thank you, by the way!!! I’m glad you liked himmm!!!!!
Anon said:OOF SO ARE THEY BOTH DRAGON SHIFTERS??????
YES THEY ARE!!!!!
Anon said:How do you think Bakugou and Kirishima would react to finding out their kid was getting bullied in school? What would they say to them?
What a heavy question holy shit, I’m actually not sure? I’m not even sure a kid raised by Bakugou and Kirishima would ever let themselves be bullied, really, so the real question here is why is this kid being bullied? Based on what the answer to that is, they’d probably react in different ways. And what they’d tell the kid would change as well, of course. Well, either way they’d probably go raise hell inside the school, both of them
(then again we’re talking about Bakugou (a former bully himself) and Kirishima (a kid that used to physically fight bullies) and their kid, so maybe the actual conversation - in case the kid were ever to actually admit to it, cause Bakugou and Kirishima’s kid might not even ever do that - would probs go something like, kid: “what if there were someone at school I was having problems with?”baku: “kill them” kiri: “Katsuki! you don’t kill them, you talk to them, and if they try to touch you you punch them as hard as you can right on the chin just like we taught you”)
(When the next day they’re called in because their kid has made a classmate bleed Bakugou fist-bumps them and Kirishima put on his hero face and voice and tells the principal that next time if they don’t want their kid to defend themselves they should make it so that they didn’t need to in the first place)
Anon said:I started reading black clover because of that one sketch you did, and i had such a tough time stopping so I can get school work done 😅 in one day I’ve read 122 chapters and I didn’t want to stop
AHHHHH I’M SO HAPPY YOU LIKED IT!!!!!! It’s such a nice manga oh boy ;O;
Anon said:Imagine Bakugou seeing Kirishima being attacked or hurt by a villain. I imagine he would immediately explode and charge in to kill said villain? I’m not sure if you’ve seen it, but I also think of that scene in RWBY Volume 3 with Blake and Yang.
I haven’t watched it, sorry ;-; but yeah! Bakugou protecting Kirishima is something I’m waiting for the actual manga to deliver, so I try not to think too much about it to keep it fresh in case Horikoshi’ll ever be that nice to me haha but anyway we sort of saw how he reacted to Kiri being in mild “danger” during the license exam, so I guess for him to actually lose his mind and explode/get angry Kiri should be in serious danger. Like, post-Rappa fight type of danger, probably.  Ahhhhhhhh boy, I seriously hope Hori will be kind enough to make something like that happen (………not that I want Kiri hurt, tho ;–;)
Anon said:Fran, Fran!!! New dgm chapter on the 16th October!!!!!!!!!!
I KNOW! And I won’t be here for it, can you believe ;~; I’m sad o
Anon said:what are your thoughts on trans kiri??
More or less the same as my thoughts on trans baku! I don’t share the headcanon myself, but there’s a lot of good art and works out there with that headcanon which I enjoyed a lot, and if that’s how you wanna see the character then go for it! Who’s even got the right to stop you hahaha
Anon said:Ooh, u read erasermic fics?? Got any faves??
Seems like I only got two in my bookmarks :O x x (and the second is an hp au haha) (I’m sure I read and loved more tho, I’ll have to come back on this when I have the time)
Anon said:Another thing about Invisible girl and Aizawa using his quirk on her. They used a tail as an example of erasing quirks and the tail was still there but it was like a dead limb. So if he used it on her she may actually be visible. I was thinking about this for awhile and I think it might work that way.
That might be! But then again, that still depends on why she’s invisible - if that’s just the way her skin is made then I don’t think Aizawa’s quirk would change anything? I dunno tho, it’s hard to headcanon about Tooru since we know so little about her!
Anon said:sorry I asked about eri-chan and I agree I really want her to be able to but what about her completely destroying her entire ability?? like not giving people their quirks back but make it so she can’t erase them anymore?? if you get me??
OH YEAH SORRY I TOTALLY MISREAD YOUR ASK OH MY GOD I’m not sure she can do that tho? Like, assuming destroying quirks is her quirk to begin with, I’d assume her body would be built in such a way that she’d be immune to it? It’s just the way I see it, tho :O

The OTP Game
Pick your 10 top OTPs without reading the questions: 1.  Mimato (Yamato Ishida × Mimi Tachikawa — Digimon Adventure) 2.  Clerith (Cloud Strife × Aerith Gainsborough — Final Fantasy VII) 3.  Zutara (Zuko × Katara — Avatar: The Last Airbender) 4.  VaniHopu (Hope Estheim × Oerba dia Vanille — Final Fantasy XIII) 5.  LuluShir (Lelouch Lamperouge × Shirley Fenette — Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch) 6.  KAIMiku (KAITO × Miku Hatsune — Vocaloid) 7.  MaouEmi (Sadao Maou × Emi Yusa — Hataraku Maou-sama!) 8.  MikoChiyo (Mikoto Mikoshiba × Chiyo Sakura — Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun) 9.  Lancaster (Jaune Arc × Ruby Rose — RWBY) 10. SasuSaku (Sasuke Uchiha × Sakura Haruno — Naruto)
Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 6 (KAIMiku)? In 2011 I got curious about wtf Hatsune Miku was and watched World is Mine then Another: World is Mine and it all went downhill from there :’D
Have you ever read a FanFiction about 2 (Clerith)? Yeah, but I haven’t read any in a VERY long time. I think the last FF I read for them was somewhere between 2002 and 2005, ahaha.
Has a picture of 4 (VaniHopu) ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr? No, actually.
If 7 (MaouEmi) were to suddenly break-up today, what would your reaction be? *SOBS GROSSLY*
Why is 1 (Mimato) so important? Mimato was the first fandom I ever truly was a part of when I was a teenager and then got back into when I picked up drawing again in my 20s. I made an LJ community (yamatoxmimi) and was friends with a lot of FFN writers back in it’s heyday; I keep in touch with a few oldfarts of the fandom. And it’s amazing that such a crack ship has so many supporters even to this day :> In their respective world though they’re 1/4 of the Chosen Children. As a pairing, they’re not important towards the story at all considering they only interact once in the series, bahaha... *cries softly*
Is 9 (Lancaster) a funny ship or a serious ship? More of a funny ship though they have their serious moments.
Out of all of the ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry? Ahhh, it’s so hard to choose?! I’m going to say Zutara. They went from bitter enemies to trusting each other, a betrayal and then earning that trust back to eventually becoming a power duo. They’ve both had similar life experiences that they’ve bonded over and the tension between them urrghh. And they just work so well together. I’ll be honest though, Clerith probably has the best chemistry, especially since they pretty much were attracted to each other on their first meeting. But instead of having this entire post be about Clerith, I figure I’d talk about another pair, hahaha.
Out of all of your ships listed, which ship has the strongest bond? CLERITH, fosho. Their love transcends death *cries* Aerith’s presence lives on in Cloud and helps him even in the Lifestream; they’re connected to each other spiritually. Though literally SasuSaku has the strongest bond. I mean Naruto as a whole is about bonds, especially within Team 7, hehe. Y’know maybe I should switch my answers for this with the last one, lmao.
How many times have you read/watched 10’s (SasuSaku) fandom? Hoo boy, going through all of Naruto is a job, but I think I’ve re-read part 1 of the manga like 2-3 times while it was still in syndication. I dropped it a little bit into part 2 then picked it back up near the end and I don’t follow Boruto at all, but I did read the Sarada side-story after the original manga ended. I’ve watched all of Naruto’s original anime once, but only about 5 episodes of Shippuden.
Which ship has lasted the longest? In real life? Clerith. In universe? SasuSaku.
How many times, if ever, has 6 (KAIMiku) broken up? Hard to say since I don’t know all of their songs. Also depends on which version of a certain song you consider your canon (i.e. From Y to Y). But that’s the beauty of Vocaloid: you can use the characters as you see fit :>
If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 2 (Clerith) or 8 (MikoChiyo)? LMAOO, Clerith, hands-down. I can’t even imagine Mikorin and Chiyo in a zombie situation unless it was one of Nozaki’s manga ideas xD
Did 7 (MaouEmi) ever have to hide their relationship for any reason? Yeah, as individuals they do. Emi as the Hero Emilia Justina and Maou as Demon Lord Satan. And it’s very strongly hinted that Emi harbors feelings for Maou which she denies/hides. I’d imagine if they got together they might try to hide their relationship for awhile if they were to ever return to Ente Isla but we’ll just have to wait and see since HataMaou isn’t over yet :)
Is 4 (VaniHopu) still together? QAQ noo… They’re doomeddestined to be star-crossed lovers till the end of time. In fact the last time they were together were in the original FFXIII ;^;
Is 10 (SasuSaku) canon? *flails and cheers* It’s the only pairing on my list that’s outright confirmed and shown being canon. And it still feels so good after 15+ years of shipping it.
If all 10 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win? HMMM. About half of my list is power couples so this is a toughy. BUT I think LuluShir would, if only because Lelouch would use his geass to come out on top, lmao. Though thinking about eye powers now, SasuSaku might because of Sasuke’s Rinnegan. Definitely a tough choice between those two pairs; depends on whose eye would trump the other :D
Has anybody ever tried to sabotage 5’s (LuluShir) ship? Beeeeesiiiiides the other Lulu ships…? *shields* Not really sabotage, but C.C. said it was a bad idea for Lelouch to get involved with Shirley if he wanted to pursue his dream (please excuse is this is wrong, it’s been so long since I’ve watched Code Geass. Definitely need to do a rewatch soon esp with the upcoming third season). And… oh… well, I guess Rolo >_> *cough*
Which ship would you defend to the death and beyond? Alllllll of theeeeeem~ But my OTP of all OTPs will always be Clerith, so them first and foremost.
Do you spend hours a day going through 3’s (Zutara) tumblr page? Not at all until very recently (like since a week ago). It was always a ship I idly supported until I got back into ATLA again, and now I’m hopeless :’D
If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the ten ships to break up forever or else she’d break them all forever, which ship would you sink? I… well, most of them are impossible or separated somehow anyway… but… M-Mi…mato…? Because it’s utter crack and they only interacted on-screen once (thanks to tri) so nothing would change anyway ;-; I was going to suggest MikoChiyo, but at least they have their canon friendship (which is BEAUTIFUL btw) so I gotsta pick the obv pair that has no chemistry except in fanon.

Pairing: Kendou x Momo for @bnhararepairweek Prompt: Day 2 - Bakery Rating: G A/N: Kinda sloppy and late, since I wasn’t planning to participate, and changed my mind at ridiculous o’clock last night, but it happened. Took awhile and I ran into some [anticipated] characterization issues but I hope it brings a tiny bit of attention to my underappreciated rarepair.
"Whew," the sound whooshed out from parted lips as she hit the chair seconds after her tea tipped down to rest on the polished wooden table. The cafe/bakery smelled so strongly of coffee she had to wrinkle her nose for a moment, having never really acquired an appreciation for it. Her company wasn't nearly as discreet or dainty, sitting down with a heart-felt groan.
For a long moment, the two dug into their drinks, relaxing off their feet for the first time in hours and hours. A faint reek of chemicals clouded the air between them -- the ungodly amount of hairspray was finally airing out most likely -- and Momo stuck her nose deeper into her cup to inhale the soothing aroma of the herbal tea she'd purchased. It wasn't the best quality, lacking that tang underneath, but at this point she'd drink warm colored water and be grateful for it too.
"That was..." Itsuka paused and Momo's dark eyes flickered up over the rim questioningly. The other young woman made a face and sighed, "An experience."
"Oh? I think it was quite instructive." After all, the school had set up the internship, so there had to be a lesson in their long day, even if it didn't seem like the usual hero work.
"So you weren't disappointed?" There was an edge there, testy and cranky, but Momo could tell it wasn't directed at her. Itsuka dug into her plate of cake, the slice nearly the size of her head and dripping chocolate. Momo tried not to look at her own plate, which held two modest muffins. Since she didn't use her Quirk at all, it felt gluttonous to indulge in front of this near stranger she had as a companion for the day. She wished she'd been a little less proper and also got a huge slice of cake.
Momo spun the teacup a bit, hesitating, "It was not what I was expecting but I do feel I learned more than I would have in the classroom. That is what internships are for, correct?"
"I guess, but I'm not going to lie, I expected to do... like hero things? Actually, it made me really uncomfortable that we were chosen because of our looks; it kind of makes me feel like a show horse. And I didn't like being treated like an entourage rather than a student either."
The slight tinge of bitterness seeped up, hearing it all laid out so bluntly. Usually she was the blunt one, at least in class, but that was black and white assessments of technique and style and Quirks. Itsuka clearly had no qualms about airing her social grievances, even at the risk of her opinion being unpopular. A bit of admiration poked through the bitterness.
"Hmm," Momo hummed, setting down her tea, still eyeing the cake as a sugared cherry rolled off the top and landed in a puddle of chocolate. Discreetly licking her lips, she turned to eviscerating her muffin, which, for some stupid reason she'd gotten raisin-nut-something. The little chunks spent some time being scooted around her plate rather than being ushered into her mouth. "I... I suppose I agree that the treatment was... uncomfortable now that you mention it. I just assumed... well, I do not know what I assumed."
Itsuka laughed, an honest, loud sound, "Well, if nothing else we'll be on tv. My mom is going to ask why I don't do my hair like that all the time! She constantly rags on my ponytail."
Momo blushed, biting her bottom lip a bit, secretly agreeing with the opinion the side ponytail did Itsuka no favors. Not that it mattered to a hero! Not at all. But she was awfully pretty, especially her chestnut hair, and she hadn't seem to notice the shy glances Momo'd been throwing her all day, unable to stop looking at how different she looked with make up and glam.
"Hey, we're almost like ponytail twins," Itsuka continued sociably as she tucked further into her cake and took a long gulp of her cooled Americano. "And class rep twins too, huh?"
"I am just vice."
"It's the same gig though! I didn't realize how much we've got in common. It's a shame we're not in the same class so we could spend some more time together. But now that I think about it... maybe the silver lining to this stupid internship is getting to spend time with you, Momo."
If she'd been wearing her costume, her face would be the same shade of crimson. Ducking her head bashfully, she mustered up her courage for an appropriate response. Despite gaining a lot of confidence with her own class, it was hard. Somehow she instinctively felt that the cheery, practical woman across from her wouldn't mind at all.
"Same." Weak, but it was the only word she trusted to cross her lips. "I truly... enjoyed spending time with you today..." And she realized as she said it how true it was. It made her a bit sad the internship would be ending soon.
"Don't be mopey; we still go to the same school! We should go on dates outside of class..."
"D-dates?"
Itsuka paused with a bit of horror dawning on her face, "Friend dates! Go out like this and chat... spend some more time together... those kind of dates."
The disappointment was a bit much. What did she want Itsuka to say exactly? Confused, she went to take a sip of tea despite it being lukewarm and didn't answer. Picking up a piece of muffin, she unconsciously took a nibble and winced. Raisins were so distasteful.
A fork bearing a load of cream and cake hovered under her nose, tapping the end of it. Startled, she jerked back, nearly spilling the tea and coating her nose in cream.
“Here, you know you want it. I saw you drooling over it earlier. It okay, go wild, I won’t tell.” The fork waggled in invitation.
“Is feeding me a friend thing too?” Momo asked, eyebrow arching a bit, and Itsuka juggled the fork with a blush. Leaning forward, she deftly saved the cake then reached for a napkin to wipe off her nose. Her guilty pleasure was shoujo manga, and she’d read enough of them to know what happened next in a silly scenario like this. Itsuka grinned, obviously thinking the same thing, and pushed the whole plate over instead of answering.
Leaning on her hands, she was silent for a few moments before answering, “I guess you’ll have to find out.”
Momo took a bite with a small smile, “Then its a date.”

Allen’s Seinen Adventure
Well... it’s finally happening, I’m finally talking about Seinen manga like I said I would last month. This is my first time talking about manga specifically and tagging it, so... hello manga readers and fandom people reading this, as well as my usual followers that like these sorts of essay-type posts I do when I’m not shitposting about Blazblue. For those that don’t know, I’m Allen X, I post little essays about niche fandom stuff I’m into on tumblr called Ramblings, and every so often try to write stories and fanfics when the mood hits me. A month back I made a post saying I was going to talk about Seinen manga since I’ve reached that lovely age of 23 where theses types of manga would interest me given my age group. I’ve been buying more and more manga in this genre as of late and I wanted to give my thoughts on the ones that have grabbed my interest and why I like them.
In my last Rambling on this topic I said I was going to try and make separate essays for each Seinen manga I wanted to talk about, but... I can’t. I just can’t. I realized it when I talked about Symphogear, I really don’t feel comfortable breaking down manga and anime the way I do with video games. I don’t know, video games are more inclusive and universal than anime and manga. When I talk about video games, gameplay, enjoyment factor, and so on, I feel like I’m talking on a level that everyone would get, at least every gamer. With manga and anime... it’s kind of niche genre, especially the stuff I’m into, so to try and talk about them in the same manner of general appeal and interest just doesn’t feel right to me. Plus, God forbid I miss something super vital about an anime or manga from my western perspective and get roasted for not understanding something in context and harping on it... God, that’s a fear I have every time I tag a Rambling.
In any case, I figured I’d do this in the style I do my Anime Updates. I’ll give a brief summary of each manga, say what I like about them, what I don’t, and if I think others should into it. So, let’s get started.
Oh actually, before I get started, just gonna’ warn everyone now that since I’m talking about Seinen manga, sexual content is bound for all that I talk about. I won’t be showing pics or anything, but just know these are +18 rated manga. Anyway, back on topic...
Tumblr media
So, first up is Murcielago. If I had to give this show a western comparison I’d say the show Archer would be a good one. Now, I’ve only seen bits of season 1 of Archer, but I think the idea is the same. Murcielago is about a State Appointed Executioner named Kuroko Koumori, a former serial killer turned government agent, and the adventures she goes on with her loli sidekick and driver Hinako as she kills, slaughters, and executes criminals just as, if not more, dangerous than she is, as well as attempt to bang every female without a two-mile radius. Actually, now that I think about I think Killer is Dead is better comparison for this manga. Now if only Kuroko gets voiced by Patrick Seitz if an anime comes out...
I don’t know, there’s just something engaging about watching this sex-addicted, murderous lesbian go about her day. This is sort of a popcorn read, something wacky and ridiculous that just makes you laugh. The gore is over the top, the situations Kuroko gets into are just so nonsensical that you can’t help but laugh at them, and the way she gets out of jams and gives out cheesy one-liners just makes me think this manga is just a hyper-violent, hyper-sexual action movie with an sociopath protagonist. And I'm always cracking up a little when I see Hinako react to all the hyper-violence going on around her. The fact that Hinako is so innocent and carefree despite who she works with is actually pretty endearing. I like how she’s, for the most part, an innocent little loli just having to put up with all of Kuroko’s shit. I hope it remains a running gag that Hinako is at most just inconvenienced by all the violent, sexual nonsense around her and is never truly effected by it.
Like I said, this manga’s a popcorn read, and if you need some crazy, B-tier action movie nonsense in your manga collection, I recommend buying this when you can. The second volume is out and it concludes the Murder House arc. I’m looking forward to volume 3 and seeing where it goes from there.
And since I’m sticking this in the Murcielago tag, yes Murcielago Lamborghini fans, Kuroko does, in fact, drive Murcielago Lamborghini. Well, Hinako drives it specifically, crashes it every other chapter, and Kuroko buys her a new one in the following chapter... I hope that remains a running gag too.

Next up is Ubel Blatt, AKA, Not-Berserk.
Now, before everyone tells me to stop reading this and start reading Berserk just hear me out. The main thing keeping me from reading Berserk is the fact that it’s currently on volume 38 here in the West, and I’m not sinking money into an on-going manga that’s ran that long. My personal rule for long-running manga is that if it exceeds past 18 volumes I either stop at 18 or whatever arc I feel is a good stopping point and wait until that manga finishes, or I have a damn good reason to pick it up again and sink all that money back into something that could get put on hiatus at a moment’s notice depending on that artist’s health and condition. Berserk... is just too risky an investment for me to get into, and Ubel Blatt’s plot is telling me that this manga’s gonna have a clear ending at some point, likely around the volume 15 mark, so I’m choosing this one for my edgy, medieval, violent story... thing. I was scrolling around the tags a bit for Ubel Blatt to get a consensus on this manga and saw a few people essentially calling this a poor man’s Berserk. Well folks, since I’m poor as hell I’ll glad sink money into what is currently at volume 10 and not play catch up with Berserk until it finishes.
Now, onto the manga itself,  I find Ubel Blatt interesting in that this series has a very clear goal and that main character is making clear strides in accomplishing that goal. The main character, Koinzell, simply wants to avenge himself and his fallen comrades after being betrayed by his former allies. It’s... basically an even edgier Tales of Beresia except with a half-fairy-elf man instead of Velvet Crow. The world is already saved, but the ones that were sacrificed for that end are less than happy about it and want revenge at the cost of screwing the stability of the world over again. I’m on volume 3 at this point and I’m pretty hooked. It really does remind me of Tales of Beresia with out they show the heroes being flawed and even devious, but the public love them regardless... well, those that aren’t being enslaved by their rule anyway.
I especially like female lead, Aht. I’ve always like the warrior-princess archtype, and Aht is definitely winning me over with her loyalty toward Koinzell, even willing to change her body and appearance to help him in combat. My only regard about her is that we don’t get to see her in that badass black dragon rider armor she was wearing in the first few volumes when she was going to try and kill Koinzell for killing her brother. That armor just hit all my aesthetics for warrior princesses... but alas, I still like her though.
I believe this manga is up to volume 10 here in the States. Now I say 10, but it’s numbered 9... for some inane reason there’s volume 0 that is not a prologue volume, so please read, as it is mandatory to understand the plot... it’s the one thing I’m gonna’ knock about this manga, but it’s a good read so far. Looking forward to getting the rest on payday.
Tumblr media
Alright, time to talk about a manga I’ve been reading exclusively online for awhile now. As of this point I know the light novel of Goblin Slayer is out in the West, but I’m... hesitant to get it since I was hoping the manga would come first, and I honestly prefer manga to light novels anyway, the only exception I made was Magical Girl Raising Project. According to Amazon a physical copy will be for sell around December and there is a digital version out, so I think I’ll get the digital copy as a way to support the series.
Anyway, Goblin Slayer is basically about... the adventures of a goblin slayer. Yeah, I know it sounds generic, but it’s good, I swear. In Generic RPG Video Game World #492, this fine fellow kills goblins and only goblins after they killed his family. He is basically medieval Batman if Batman killed. He knows everything about goblins and how to kill them, and with his party of a healer, an archer, a shaman, and a dwarf, he’ll make sure all of them pay for taking away the ones he loved.
This manga is a bit of a deconstruction of typical RPG tropes. If you guys are familiar with anime Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash, then I’d say this is very similar to that, but with more mature themes in it. I found the world of Generic RPG Video Game World #492 rather interesting in how the goblins themselves are enough of a threat that they can kill newbie adventurers who are unprepared (and often are given goblins are seen as weak in this universe), but not enough of a threat for the higher leveled adventurers to bother fight them without high prices. It creates a cycle a of death and tragedy, real depressing stuff as the characters lament on their situation. The Goblin Slayer’s party members slowly start to understand why he hunts goblins and only goblins despite his rank, and the healer is such an endearing character. I like her interactions with the Goblin Slayer. Her innocence really compliments his gruff, silent nature, and she’s one of the few that can get more than a sentence out the guy save for his other love interest the Female Farmhand.
...
...
...
I know it sounds like I’m giving them generic names and whatnot, but manga really doesn’t give these characters names, like, at all. The Goblin Slayer is just called the Goblin Slayer by everyone in-universe, the healer is called Priestess I believe, and so on. It’s... really weird, but it works. I like where the story’s going so far, and it tempts me to get the light novel to see where things go from there. I’ll skim a few pages next time I head to the bookstore and see if the writing interests me.
Tumblr media
In name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Lord grant me strength as I speak about this manga.
So... Tsugumomo... where do I even begin with this one? I dread talking about this manga. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine, emphasis on guilty. I... don’t know if I can do this, but I’ll try.
Before I start, I’ll say this much, I like the premise. It’s basically a more Japanese version of Soul Eater. Special beings called, well, Tsugumomo, are objects that gain sentience after generations upon generations of use. Once sentient, they can take a human form and weaponize their original form so that exorcist can use them as tools and weapons to battle against evil spirits and demons. So yeah, basically a mix of Soul Eater and Twin Star Exorcist, other manga I happen to enjoy reading. And being the giant weeb I am, anything with a Japanese aesthetic to it is gonna’ get my interest. It’s how I got into Nioh, it’s how I got into Samurai Warriors and the Warriors series, so it appealed to me on a surface level. So when the anime came out, I watched the first episode and... immediately dropped the show there. The first minute had me clicking away to something else since it opened on a boob gag with middle school aged characters. However, episode 3 had a really good fight scene in it, I saw some gifs of it, and being a sap for a good fight scene, I gave it another shot. Episode 2 wasn’t that bad, episode 3 wasn’t either, but... I believe it was episode 5 that had me drop the anime again. I’m not against middle school aged characters discussing sexual topics, but... well, I can’t stand the first omnibus volume of Negima! for a reason. However, much like Negima! I decided to see if the manga was just as bad. After all, if The Sacred Blacksmith had talk me anything, it was that anime spin offs tend to play up the fanservice for the sake of making a quick buck. So i went to the manga to see if that was the case.
It was the exact opposite. The anime turned down the fanservice by quite a degree.
However... despite that, I’m still interested in the story. I’m going to spoil a bit from her, so be warned.
Much like with Negima! I skipped quite a few chapters, starting at around chapter 72, when they went into Kanaka, the main character’s mother, and Kiriha’s, Kazuya’s former Tsugumomo, past and relationship. I didn’t want to bother reading chapters of fanservice to get to what was interesting, so I skips around until I found something worth reading, and boy was this part worth reading. I found Kanaka to be real interesting character. It an interesting take on the whole “Too Strong to be Approached” angle. Or I really liked how she was emotionless until she was able to find a good opponent to fight and then essential became a more cheerful version of Blazblue’s Azrael, her strength being seen as something to be feared to the point of the Exorcist organization literally feeding her demons and evil spirits from their SSS-rank list just to make sure she wouldn’t try to take them out due to boredom. I liked how she trained her kids solely so they could give her a good fight when they mature. Her personality and how she grew in those chapters really hooked me to her character.
To read those chapters, get attached to those characters, only to realize both Kanaka and Kiriha were dead and that Kanaka’s son had to kill his own mother because of a mistake he made when he was younger... I was shocked by how invested I was already.
Also, there’s a tournament arc going on as of chapter 100, and learning about the exorcist academy and how they have different political beliefs in how Tsugumomo should be treated interests me as well, so there’s that.
With Tsugumomo I feel like it’s a Shounen manga trying to be a Seinen one by adding a bunch of nudity and sex scenes. Trust me, there are enough bare breast and sex scenes to be a hentai in this. And this very much much hits a nerve when it comes to my limits on fanservice. Dear god, the lewdness of this manga. I swear every chapter someone’s getting naked for some asinine reason or another. The sheer amount of underage nudity and sexual content is just enough to make me [RETRACTED]. Seriously, this the manga equivalent of Shadow the Hedgehog and the Dante’s Inferno video game. The mature themes in this manga detract more than add to the story...  Also, Kazuya’s character design makes me want to stab my eyes out, but that’s a story for another day.
Again, I didn’t read anything else before that, so if anything I think Kazuya’s abilities are a little OP since what was keeping him from his full potential was goddamn amnesia of all things, but... I’ll let it slide since I don’t have the full context. Much like Wanna’ be the Strongest in the World and Ikkitousen, I wouldn’t recommend this manga to anyone, I can’t do it with a clear conscience, but this is certainly a guilty pleasure of mine... and boy do I feel guilty for liking it.
Tumblr media
And lastly, to get the taste of Tsugumomo out my mouth, we have a good manga, The Scared Blacksmith. I’m gonna’ be brief with this one because talking about Tsugumomo drained me a tad, but...
I. Love. This. Manga.
I just finished it last week and I’m so glad I bought. I’m actually shocked this is a Seinen. Save for a bit of fanservice in a first few volumes and... the stuff that happened in volume 6, this manga’s actually clean for the most part. It’s mostly about the Knight Cecily Campbell and her life in the Independent Trade City... no, that’ really the city’s name. Okay, quick tangent, but what’s with these fantasy Seinen manga and their borderline parody location names? I know the names just serve a means to an end in the grand scheme of things, but... really?
Anyway, Cecily Campbell is a female knight joined the knight guard since she’s the only daughter of a noble family of knights, and... the story takes off from there. Again, Tsugumomo drained me a tad, but trust me when I say this manga is good. It’s got action, romance, a decent female character. I said this before in some of my other Ramblings, but Cecily is one of my favorite female characters ever. The anime didn’t do her justice... but anyway, this is a good manga overall. It fully out in the West so I recommend you all buy it when you can.
And so... on a lackluster note, I ended my rambling about Seinen manga. I’ll do The Sacred Blacksmith justice a later day. I’m beat now, so I’m gonna’ just... read some manga, maybe draw a bit... feel free to message me if you guys have question... I’m just... gonna’ be here. Phew, I’m tired now...

Breakdown: Teppu (The Sports Anime That Will Never Be)
Tumblr media
SPOILER FREE ZONE
Teppu: Seinen manga, 2008-2015, supposedly finished. Done by Moare Oota which is evidently a pseudonym for someone else but I don’t know who.
Tropes: Unlikable Protagonist, Unlikable Women, Star Player, Anti-Hero, Genius
Not-Your-Wikipedia-Summary: Natsuo is taller than everyone and and athletic genius. Which makes her life a living hell because nobody can stand for her to be such an insufferable genius, not her brother, not her volleyball teammates, not her two-times-national-karate-champion-ex-best-friend Sanae. Natsuo is bored shitless- until she meets a girl, Yuzuko, who’s just moved from Brazil to Japan and does MMA and who is disgustingly happy. All the time. Especially when it comes to MMA. Naturally, Natsuo wishes, more than anything in the world, to beat the ever living shit out of her. But is Natsuo’s natural talent enough to bring a lifelong MMA nut to the ground?  Cue the queer sadomasochism references here, please.
Tumblr media
TL;DR Review: It’s hard to review this without going into too many spoilers but- GODDAMN I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SHIT. A totally sadistic bitch who can’t stand the “hard work will pay off! Pain doesn’t hurt!” hero?? Queerness EVERYWHERE? No fanservice?? FACKYUS. But seriously, this series goes out of its way to destroy a lot of sports manga tropes. Natsuo doesn’t join the school MMA team with Yuzuko and her Brazilian-adopted-sister/badass-MMA-fighter. Natsuo can’t stand their fucking cheerfulness. No, she joins a local MMA gym and happily deals with the bitches there in order to get stronger. Natsuo isn’t all “oh maybe I can grow stronger!” she’s more “maybe I can find someone strong enough to give me a challenge... and the pleasure of wiping their smile off their fucking face.” The way the author paces the fights with the flashbacks to the history between various characters is also done really well. It gives us the feeling that it’s not just a fight at stake; it’s the definition of who these people are that’s at stake. And these people are twisted. So that makes it even better. The only drawback to this series, to me, is the ending. (Read the “Male Writer Fuckups” section below the cut.) It really didn’t have to end like that either- this could have been the beginning of a really great longer series. They could have gone much farther with it. But whatevs. I’ll just not read the ending when I re-read it.
Tumblr media
‘Objective’ Score: 7/10 The art was weak at the beginning, though it really strengthened up at the ending. The story jumped around a bit at the end as the author tried to cram in shit since he was clearly looking to end the series, so there’s some confusing bits there. But overall, an awesome subversion of a lot of tropes and a great addition to the genre.
Personal Score: 8/10 (1 point deducted for misogynistic/abuse-affirming ending)
SPOILER ZONE
Full Thoughts: Okay so this author gets a lot of things right, the least of which are his meticulously-researched MMA/karate/ju-jitsu techniques, and the most of which are his fantastically unlikable female characters. Because there’s multiple of them. We have, on one side of the spectrum, our main character who we know from the beginning is unlikable. In the middle of the spectrum, we have her teacher/MMA fighter, Kotani Karin, who is a savvy, older woman trying to do right by her students and women’s MMA, who sometimes picks on Natsuo because she, understandably, doesn’t like Natsuo and thinks the best thing for her is a swift kick in the ass.
Then on the OTHER SIDE of the spectrum.... we have Yuzuko. She’s the traditional main character of a sports manga, one who started young, who just loves the sport, who doesn’t care about the pain, who isn’t naturally talented, but works three times harder than everyone else. She seems, on the surface, likable. UNTIL it’s pointed out to us that that is fucking crazy/stupid/psychotic. Yuzuko is missing a goddamn screw in her head, and her Brazilian friend/sister Ringi and her father (an undefeated MMA champ) are the only ones who really realize it. Yuzuko, in the end, is just as unlikable as Natsuo because she is fucking insane and stupid.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So really, they’re perfect for each other. And the manga doesn’t shy around the queer coding. And speaking of queer, shout out to the not-even-coded, but totally gay stuff going on in the karate club of kickass women.
So this author, Oota, gets some things right. That women are complicated and not always likable, and they can all kick some serious ass. BUT. His misogyny and his rush to finish the series get in the way of two things: 1, a good ending, 2, a clearer/fuller understanding of these characters.
For example, we never get a full understanding of Yuzuko. Is she just stupid? Is she psychotic? Is it masochism? The last is implied, but I don’t entirely buy it. And Natsuo- is she truly sadistic, or is her sadism an excuse to search for someone who can beat her, aka masochism? Her abusive relationship with her brother would imply masochism as well. This isn’t entirely cleared up with either of these girls.
Things Male Writers Always Fuck Up On While Writing Female Characters: Endings.  For those of you who are reading this spoilers section without reading the manga yet, this requires some background: Natsuo started karate with her brother when they were little, but she had so much natural talent that she outshone him easily. The brother quit karate and started getting beat up at school. When Natsuo beat the shit out of the guys who were beating him, he blamed her -and her natural talent- for all of his problems (misogyny 101: “you being good means I’m not good and so you should lower yourself to make me feel better”). But Natsuo, being an impressionable sister who only wants to be friends with her brother, takes it to heart.... even so far as to let her brother start beating her when they’re little kids, all in order to make him feel better. There starts an abusive relationship with her loser older brother.
This girl’s got fucking issues.
NOW. A girl having these issues isn’t a problem. Especially if she works through them and grows into saying “fuck you older brother, if you’re weak it’s your own goddamn problem, don’t make it MY responsibility, and if you hit me again I’ll show you what I learned in MMA.” But is that what happens? No.
Because at the end of this story, this author makes the Golden Mistake When Writing Female Character’s Endings: he makes it about the brother’s personal growth instead of hers.
At the end of the story, Natsuo and Yuzuko are in a really awesome fight. Now we know that Natsuo has been looking to lose and she hasn’t lost yet. She needs to lose, for her personal growth. But the author brings in her brother to watch the fight and, at the very end, Natsuo sees him in the audience. Then she loses. Whether or not she loses on purpose or genuinely loses is unclear.
After the fight she has a dream where he suddenly likes her now and they watch movies together like how they used to. Outside of dreamland, her mother nervously asks her brother, as he shuffles into the living room, if she can cut his hair (implying that he’s been a shut-in for awhile and, now that he’s seen his sister lose, is finally joining the rest of fucking society).
This is not just misogynistic... this is abuse-affirming.
This is a child hoping that, maybe if they roll over and show their belly, their abuser will love them again. This is a boy shaming/abusing a girl because she was strong, literally tearing her down because he couldn’t stand how talented she was. And this ending is a girl letting herself be torn down in order to make her abuser-older-brother feel better and hopefully love her again.
It’s sick, guys. This ending, more than anything else, is what puts it in the seinen (older) genre category. It’s unsatisfying, it’s misogynistic, it’s affirming of patterns of abuse. From my eye, it’s written by someone who wanted to write a mature story but didn’t want to take responsibility for representing those issues in a non-toxic way.
So, mixed feelings. I really enjoyed 4/5ths of this story. The last 1/5th was like finding a shit seed inside a piece of fruit though.

Saiyuki Reload Blast Anime: Information for new and returning fans
Greetings everyone!
So as we know Saiyuki Reload Blast is being animated around July, and we are very excited!
Since I know there will be new and returning fans, I wanted to bring to light some information about this wonderful series. Beware, this is a long post!
---
MANGA
Saiyuki is a manga written and drawn by a woman who goes by the name Kazuya Minekura. The series became officially published in 1997 and has been running ever since. Saiyuki is composed of many manga and a few spin offs:
MAIN SERIES
Saiyuki - The beginning of the series, 9 volumes Saiyuki Reload - The second series, a direct continuation, 10 volumes Saiyuki Reload Blast - Third and final series, currently ongoing, 3 volumes
PREQUELS
Saiyuki Gaiden - Set 500 years before the main series, 4 volumes Saiyuki Ibun - Set before the main series, tells the story of Sanzo’s master
---
ANIMATED ADAPTIONS
Saiyuki is interesting as it has many animated adaptions. This is a source of enjoyment but also frustration as this means none of the art styles are consistent as they are mostly done by different studios or changed character designs. The anime are also plagued with fillers.
TV SERIES
Gensomaden Saiyuki (2000) Saiyuki Reload/Saiyuki Gunlock (2003) Saiyuki Reload Blast (2017)
MOVIES
Saiyuki Requiem
OVAS (in order of release)
Saiyuki Premium Saiyuki Burial Saiyuki Gaiden
This post has some information on finding places to read the manga and watch the Anime.
---
Now for the main reason for this post.
Saiyuki Reload Blast will more than likely start at the beginning of the third and final series which means it may be confusing for new fans or ones who haven’t read the series in awhile. Platinum Vision may put in some flashbacks to explain characters that have long since been established, but I’m hoping to give you as much information without being too long of a read as possible.
Because of spoilers for all series I will put it behind a ‘read more’ cut.
SAIYUKI GAIDEN
The story begins in Saiyuki Gaiden. It’s not quite necessary to read, but it’s a very good series that is very emotional. Long story short, Gaiden is about the crime a young Goku committed 500 years ago that got him imprisoned.
Goku, after watching his best friend Nataku, a war god, die before his eyes, transformed into the terrifying creature known as Seiten Taisei. He slaughtered many gods. His friends, the original forms of Sanzo, Gojyo, and Hakkai, attempted to save him. However they all met an untimely end leading Goku into despair. A merciful Goddess named Kanzeon Bosatsu sealed his memories and imprisoned him in a mountain for 500 years.
SAIYUKI
Skip forward 500 years, we meet Sanzo, Gojyo and Hakkai who all have very traumatic pasts. Sanzo frees Goku from his prison and a few years later the group gather together and are order by 3 gods to stop the resurrection of the demon king.
Along their long journey they meet many people; some good, some bad. One important rival is Kougaiji, the Demon King’s son, and his faithful team; his sister Lirin, his apothecary Yaone, and Dokugakuji, his loyal warrior and Gojyo’s older brother.
The team runs into another fearsome foe known as Kami Sama. Sent by a doctor who works for the Demon King named Ni Jianyi, Kami Sama completely battered Sanzo’s group and took Sanzo’s sutra, the source of his heavenly power.
After regrouping, the team finally began to work together instead of bickering, a sign of their growth. A fierce battle ensued and the Sanzo ikkou were victorious, taking back Sanzo’s scroll and continuing their journey.
SAIYUKI RELOAD
The series continues on in Saiyuki Reload. Similar to the first series the guys run into enemies and help villages they visit. Two characters they encounter are Hazel, a priest from the west, and his bodyguard, Gat. Similar to Kami Sama, they are influenced by Doctor Ni and they follow the group.
An event happens that causes Sanzo to spiral into a rage that echos a traumatic incident that happened in his youth. This makes him to leave the group and go with Hazel.
Eventually Sanzo runs into the man who has been causing the group so much trouble, Ni Jianyi, also known as Sanzo Ukoku who is a priest that uses a sutra similar to our hero.
Sanzo is throttled, his friends come to aid him but are also beaten down. Hazel, who loses someone precious, attacks his former mentor Ukoku but is badly injured and presumed dead. Taking advantage of the situation, Sanzo manages to blind the deranged Ukoku and the man flees, leaving the group shaken.
SAIYUKI RELOAD BLAST
The new anime will pick up here, so there shouldn’t be a need to write up a summary of events.
---
I would highly recommend reading the manga to get up to speed. The anime are fun to watch but they are full of fillers and gecko endings. In particular, many fans did not like the outcome of Saiyuki Gunlock’s adaptation of even a worm, the arc when Hazel appears as it:
Does not include Sanzo’s fight with the Youkai
Human’s mistreatment of Youkai
Goku nearly dying by the hands of Ukoku
Seiten Taisei fighting Youkai Hakkai
The Oasis Youkai
Sanzo tormented by the hands of Ukoku
Proper characterization and back story for Hazel and Gat
Dr. Ni’s reveal of being Ukoku Sanzo
And much more
Gensomaden Saiyuki has an entire filler arc surrounding the events caused by a War God named Homura which is somewhat canonical, but can be skipped. Many consider it a pretty decent contribution to the series as the characters were fleshed out.
Another reason to read the manga is because it focuses a lot more on character growth than the anime does which tends to stick the Sanzo Ikkou with the same character traits when, in reality, they have all grown little by little over the journey.
Goku especially goes through some major changes, especially through Reload which was not adapted into the Anime. Because of this, he’s always portrayed as overly naive, hungry, and a muscle head. He’s actually become a much deeper and mature character and I desperately hope Saiyuki Reload Blast properly shows this.
I hope this was informative! To new fans I welcome you to our fandom! We love meeting new people and watching the community grow. Saiyuki is an amazing series and we love it. To returning fans, welcome back!
If you have any questions or just want a place to chat about Saiyuki, we have a discord chat where you can meet with other fans! If you prefer lurking that is totally fine too!
