I always kinda thought Chip looked a little like a chao... then this comic happened! (Not a reincarnation situation or anything, just a chao that looks like Chip in the same way that some chao can look like Sonic, Knuckles, Amy etc.)
Probably brings back some memories for Sonic!

Love referring to characters who are never seen without each other as "bonded pairs" like yuuuup. if you put these two in separate cages they're gonna get real sad and anxious and possibly violent too, one of em is biting the bars as we speak. you gotta adopt both of them or none at all, it is encouraged that you take them both. they are most likely to thrive if they stick together. it is easier for them to get used to new environments and situations because they have each other. they do everything together because they love each other so so much. you COULD separate them but it's gonna do a lot of psychological damage and it's gonna lead to a lot of issues and there's a big possibility they'll never be the same again

me: yeah as a trans man, i really don’t like being called “girl” in casual conversation. I understand that it’s an unconscious form of address for a lot of people, but it makes me really uncomfortable because I can never tell how it’s being used. It could be that it’s in a truly friendly, “genderless” manner, or it could be that you’re using it to purposefully misgender me, putting me in “my place.” Or, the most likely scenario: it could be that it was a Freudian slip and you don’t actually see me as a man. So I’d really just rather you call me dude, bro, or man or something; that way, there’s not any tension or confusion haha.
some people: you HATE women. You HATE femininity and are anti-feminist. how DARE you ask that I gender you correctly. you’re a MISOGYNISTIC PIG and should REPENT.

You know what I think its grossly under-rated in fandom? Second loves.
What it's like to love and lose and then love again. To suffer through either the death of a loved one or the death of a love you used to share. To know that loss, to know that hurt, and to still make yourself vulnerable to someone again. To love scared, to love wounded, to love anyway.
