i  think  the  funniest  critique  of  the  anime  is...

when  people  say  why  didn’t  vash  just  kill  knives  if  he  was  gonna  paralyze  knives  in  the  first  place.  like  they’re  acting  as  though  he’ll  be  paralyzed  for  LIFE.  because  that’s  just  being  Sadistic.  and  it’s  like...  did  you...  not  watch  the  anime  ?  vash  literally  blew  off  knives’  LEGS  and  entire  plantussy.  and  he  managed  to  REGENERATE  ALL  THAT.  and  like,  even  if  he  SOMEHOW  couldn’t  heal  his  wounds  and  walk  again.  like...  do  y’all  forget  the  world  of  tg  actually  has  HIGHLY  ADVANCED  PROSTHETICS  ???  like  vash  LITERALLY  has  a  robot  arm  that  also  doubles  as  a  GUN  ????  like  if  knives  comes  along  and  is  a  Better  Person,  then...  he  can  just  get  prosthetics,  too.

knives  doesn’t  know  any  other  languages  because  he  doesn’t  care  to  learn,  despite  possessing  a  higher  IQ  than  humans  and  it’ll  take  him  no  time  to  learn  one.  He  named  Legato  that  because  he  saw  Legato  as  nothing  more  than  a  pet.  Le  Gato,  to  make  it  less  obvious  than  The  Cat.  But  since  knives  doesn’t  actually  know  spanish,  he  didn’t  realize  it’d  be  Elgato,  not  Legato.

this  is  funny  because  this  is  the  same  way  i  describe  him  in the anime. like in the manga, he's so pretty... even in his more "expressive" faces, he's usually nice to look at.

it’s also kinda bizarre that vash is going around with a giant robot arm, and a coat that has “PROJECT SEEDS” on it. like... i thought one of the points about vash is that he’s a bit of a mystery, an enigmatic person. right off the bat, the redesign is already giving away points about him?

tho  i  criticize  the  anime’s  depiction  of  knives.  this  is  my  fav  scene  with  knives  from  the  anime.  because  it’s  one  of  the  only  scenes  that  actually  shows  that  knives  does  care  about  vash.  the  fact  that,  even  tho  KNIVES  KNEW  VASH  WAS  HOLDING  A  GUN....  he  was  still  confused  as  to  why  his  leg  was  in  so  much  pain.  like  even  tho  the  only  explanation  could  be  that  vash  shot  him,  knives  refused  to  believe  it.  he  couldn’t  even  fathom  the  idea  that  his  own  brother  would  shoot  him.  hence,  why  he  initially  questioned  the  agony.
