tho  i  criticize  the  anime’s  depiction  of  knives.  this  is  my  fav  scene  with  knives  from  the  anime.  because  it’s  one  of  the  only  scenes  that  actually  shows  that  knives  does  care  about  vash.  the  fact  that,  even  tho  KNIVES  KNEW  VASH  WAS  HOLDING  A  GUN....  he  was  still  confused  as  to  why  his  leg  was  in  so  much  pain.  like  even  tho  the  only  explanation  could  be  that  vash  shot  him,  knives  refused  to  believe  it.  he  couldn’t  even  fathom  the  idea  that  his  own  brother  would  shoot  him.  hence,  why  he  initially  questioned  the  agony.
