While Ethan is currently my favorite muse to write, Emily was my first ever. She has gone thorugh some changes over the years, but I watched Hemlock Grove and stumbled upon the RPC here on Tumblr. I love to write and it seemed like it could be really fun to throw her into a variety of situations and aus. As far as her creation, she just sort of popped up while watching the show. I tend to imagine a lot of 'what ifs' for movies/shows that I enjoy. The muse sort of comes together on their own after that.

For Oscar, it's his convictions. For Ofreyja, her spontaneity and almost sickeningly positive outlook on life. For Ethan, his unapologetic sense of self. For Emily, her artistic ability. For Gage, his career. For Silas, his naivety for life - he has big, unguarded heart.

★  ⸻     WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO MAKE THIS MUSE?: I have always loved Charlies Angels (the 2000 movie and its sequel, although I do love the original show as well!) and I adored Eric Knox and his reveal and his vibe and ugh...and then when Birds of Prey came out, watching Roman Sionis do his thing just brought back that sort of style of character into the forefront of my mind. I wanted to make a villain oc that had his own niche m.o. and this sort of flamboyant narcissism about him. He’s a peacock strutting around, pecking out eyes as he sees fit. I should also mention the film Kiss The Girls as another big inspiration for Lawrence, a lot of his mannerisms and motives based off the pathology of the Casanova killer— the obsession, the stalking, the entitlement, the seamless transition between seemingly mild-mannered person to nefarious killer. 

★  ⸻     WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ASPECTS OF YOUR CURRENT MUSE?: He's such a dickhead. I love his tantrums and the internal struggle he always has between keeping composed and rigidly in control of himself and letting himself loose and be taken over by this fiery, all-consuming anger he has within him. 

★  ⸻     WHO’S YOUR CURRENT FC: Sam Rockwell, both as Eric Knox in Charlies Angels and Justin Hammer in the Iron Man franchise.

★  ⸻     WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING?: I just write things that I think are fun or funny, mainly tropes from other films and shows that personally made me go :D or :O. For Lawrence specifically, I have to admit that I’m almost always sort of ready to write Lawrence. He’s one of the few muses on my roster that I can write easily at any time, like he flows incredibly well and I think it mainly has to do with the fact that writing him is like dissecting him a little, like a little profiler writing his crimes and guessing what will come next. (If that makes sense!)

★  ⸻     FAVORITE TYPES OF THREADS?: Overall, I enjoy domestic stories and funny threads; everyday stories and silly adventures with friends or meet cutes! I like all that, and a lot of times I can even incorporate frightening or crime based plots to it because I feel like....even scary, bad people or supernatural monsters have silly moments. (In my verses they do at least! I’m always clowning on them!!!) Like nothing makes me :3 quicker than idiots being idiots, lovers being cute, killers fucking up and being stupid as all hell, stoic characters tripping and falling flat on their face, etc. etc.

He has some genuine skill with percussion, but isn't a professional by any means because he's almost entirely self-taught and doesn't actually want to be a top-tier drummer, just good enough to be able to show off to people. If anything, the fact that he's good at it despite having no formal training and not putting much effort into practicing is proof that he's a really fast learner.

(He did get some lessons from Calem too back when they were dating, but Calem's knowledge about percussion is actually pretty shallow compared to other types of instruments.)

Most people wouldn't know this, but he's actually really into punk rock.

This one causes him to take pause. For once, he really has to consider his answer.

“Well... Sort of. I would rather not be made a fool of, most’a the time. But I guess that really wouldn’t be very honest, would it? I might not like the way she handles things, but I guess she’s at least honest about it. It’s not like I don’t think and feel those things. I just don’t like ‘em gettin’ aired out like that.”

⚀ Does the mun have other muses besides you? What is your opinion on them?

“Oh yeah, she’s got plenty. I get along with the little lady a lot better than I do the Princess. Her counterparts are all an interestin’ bunch, too. Though, I’d opt to stay away from the Spirit. She’s nice ‘n’ all, but I get my mind read enough by my elders, much less the Spirit. As for her other bunch, those guys are a mixed bag. Silon’s an ass, wouldn’t wanna spend a day with ‘im if I can help it. Cole’s nice, though. We gotta lot in common. And Elliot’s a bit distant, but he’s not too bad. Lex, though... Eh, that kid kinda creeps me out. I tend to stay away from ‘im.”

Ohhh boy, I got a FEW ideas. So far, for Overwatch muses, I have Ana, Jesse/Cole, Genji, Hanzo, and Sigma. I MIGHT add Echo later if I get icons but it’s up in the air. Right now, I have some funny ideas with Cole and Sigma, but I might have something for Sombra and Ana.

For Sigma, I recently heard some new voicelines with him and Sombra in the Overwatch 2 Beta and honestly? They’re adorable. I feel like Sigma would have some attachment issues, but would have formed a friendship with Sombra while being under Talon. Plus, seeing him this excited was so cute!

Sombra and Cole/Jesse... I got some joking rivalry going on between them. The amount of teasing from them two is like a friendship rival, but they both sort of appreciate their own unique skillsets. I’d LOVE to see them do a mission together and all you hear on the radios is just them two bickering (joking and also... not joking).

Ana has the highest muse from these three, but I feel like she would be a very scolding mother to Sombra. Sort of having a rivalry between them because of how much she keeps her secrets hidden. She hides everything, and having someone snoop around to find something about her worries her greatly. Their relationship in general would be rocky because Ana has wired walls up all the time. Breaking them down takes a while, even with building any sort of friendship. And them doing a mission together? It would be... a little interesting. Some ominous silence but rivalry plots would be super cool to see!
