The mainline pokemon games' poor writing is very frustrating 75% of the time because it's either close to being good or just a complete waste of potential. However the other 25% of the time I fucking love that nothing is fleshed out because then I can hit it with Autism Blast and do whatever the fuck I want
#I'm thinking about volo as per the usual. my version of him is so far from canon he's not even the same character#not that he even Has a lot of depth. his motive is even less fleshed out than cyrus' already weak reasoning#in canon it's just kinda. Emotional Times (OP81)
Summary: Pregnancy was a time full of hardships. Hormones on high, stress of the incoming baby, and all the sudden changes were what this father-to-be was expecting, ready to face. What he wasn't expecting was having to battle his pregnant wife's newfound sensitivity to everything that could have her emotions changing in an instant Part of my summer event!
It has been a rough time in the Piastri household. Oscar loves his wife, he really does, and god, would he move heaven and earth for her. In her current state though, she doesn’t know whether she wants heaven or earth and if he brings her the wrong one she will burst into tears, but if he brings her the right one, she will also burst into tears.
There wasn’t any winning. During moments like that, he just had to remember that greener grass on the other side. The other side where he finally has his own little family.
The couple had also both made peace with the fact he would be traveling a lot during the season and she would have to spend some of her pregnancy by herself. It was easy while she could travel in the beginning but a few complications cut her ability to do so off much sooner than the two would have liked. And she did not like this.
“Honey, please, get back in bed.” Oscar begged at 5 am. He was ready to head off to his next race, when he unintentionally woke his very pregnant wife up after giving her a kiss on the forehead.
This made her frustrated, she had finally gone to sleep after spending so much of the night tossing and trying to turn and the minute she drifts off he has the audacity to-
Then she realized he kissed her on the forehead because he was leaving her.
Now, she was holding onto him by the front door, in absolute tears at the thought she would have to do another race weekend alone.
“Please, my love. It absolutely breaks my heart to leave you but I have no choice. Don’t make this harder for me…” Oscar tried to reason with her, but he was on the brink of tears himself seeing how much she wanted him to stay, realizing how much he wanted to stay. But he couldn’t.
“Oscar, I can’t do it, please it's so hard being here all alone. I know it's cliché but I can’t even tie my shoes. How am I supposed to do anything? How am I supposed to take care of a baby when I can’t take care of myself?”
He knew she wasn’t trying to guilt him into staying or make him feel bad if he did leave. These were real concerns she had voiced before. But he felt so helpless in this moment, almost as helpless as she felt constantly.
The realization hit him, he couldn’t leave her like this. It was unfair to both of them. He had to do something.
“I will figure something out, don’t worry, Honey. Go back to sleep and when you wake up it will be much better, I promise.” He really shouldn’t promise that when he didn’t have a plan, but he couldn’t come up with one while she was sobbing into his neck and holding on for dear life.
With a few hiccups and a small nod, he wiped her tears and gave her a kiss as he left the apartment. 45 minutes later than he would have liked, hopefully the group he was sharing the jet with didn’t leave him behind.
She already felt better when she woke up, having gotten hours of sleep, finally. It felt so good to wake up well rested and without that many aches. Nothing could bring her mood down.
Except when she couldn’t get in touch with her husband.
She knew he was traveling, that the minute his plane landed he was off to start preparing for the upcoming race. But no calls and no messages soured her mood real fast.
She tried to shake it off, she went about her day trying not to dwell on it, trying not to send him threatening messages for not answering her the second she texted him.
A call woke her up the next morning, well it was noon but she still wasn't pleased. Not till she saw who was calling.
“Oh sweetheart! How are you?” Nicole Piastri asked.
If there was one person she loved almost as much as her husband, it was his mother.
“I’m okay, haven’t heard from Oscar much, that asshole.” she grumbled.
“Oh I remember the days, that's why I have my twitter afterall.” Nicole said, making her laugh. It was sometimes a wonder how her husband was Nicole’s son.
“Yeah well i-”
“Oh crap, honey, I have to go! But I’ll see you soon, okay? Hang tight!” Nicole said before hanging up.
She didn’t have time to dwell on the abrupt end to the call as a knock came from the front door. Connecting the two, she wobbled as fast as she could to the door, where her mother-in-law stood.
And then she burst into tears.
“Oh, he told me you were going to do that but I didn’t know it would be that immediate,” Nicole said as she went to hug her.
Through the tears and snot, she asked “Oscar? What do you mean?”
“He said he texted you, gosh, he is the worst at communication for someone who spends so much time on his phone,” she frowned at her daughter-in-law.
Quickly opening her texts, she saw he had messaged her a few hours ago:
Oscar: I told you I had a plan, just a few more hours, my love. I can’t wait to see you in a few days :)
Thus the mother and daughter-in-law started their girls weekend. My god, it was exactly what she needed. As much as she loved her husband, this was 1000 times better than what she would have done if he was here. And despite how much she missed him, the weekend seemed to fly by.
Oscar: How is she? I am only half an hour away.
Nicole: Currently napping, but she has been good! Relaxed and happy. Hasn’t even cried in the past few days
Oscar: Wow, I am almost offended she didn’t miss me more?
Nicole: She needed girl time, you couldn’t give that to her sweetheart. She also needed someone who actually knew how to correctly do laundry.
Oscar: Alright, mum, nice talking to you. I'll be back soon, please don’t turn my wife against me.
Nicole: 😉
Just as he did when he was leaving, Oscar unintentionally woke his pregnant wife up when kissing her on the forehead. Unlike when he was leaving, she didn’t get upset. She was too happy to see him that the thought hadn’t even occurred to her.
Holding him in a death grip, she recounted all she did while he was gone. She couldn’t really go out much at this point, so hearing his mom still found a way to make her weekend enjoyable was a relief.
“I haven’t even cried over something stupid in a while!” She said as she finished her account of the past few days.
“I heard, I am glad you are feeling so much better, my love. I hated being gone but hearing you had a wonderful time makes me so happy.” He said as he began to tear up, thinking about how awful it was to leave.
“Oscar, come on, just cause i'm not as emotional doesn’t mean you have to make up for it” She teased.
After pestering him about how his time away was, he remembered he had picked up something for her, and while he bought it thinking he would use it to stop her tears, why not just give it to her while she is this happy.
“I picked up your favorite,” he said as he reluctantly handed her the food he got, shuddering at the unusual combination she loved oh so much.
The sound of her son gagging as he watched his wife eat had Nicole coming into the room to investigate. The picture of her pregnant daughter-in-law, happy as a clam while she ate her food, and her son holding his nose and trying to stop himself from throwing up was a sight she committed to memory and knew she was going to bring up for years to come.
“What have you got there?” Nicole asked, knowingly making Oscar gag again as he was reminded of the food combination.
“Cottage cheese and ketchup,” she answered. Instead of disgust, the couple was confused by the light bulb moment Nicole seemed to have.
“My goodness! That is what I craved with Oscar. Gross to think about now but I loved it then.”
“What! You never told me this?” Oscar asked, astounded he would be the reason his mom had to eat a combination that disgusted him so.
“I was saving it for the next podcast I did. Think I’ll have to talk about this moment too.” His mom teased.
Rolling his eyes, he turned to his wife and immediately clocked in on the frown beginning to form.
Both mother and son had the same exact thought: Uh oh.
“You- you craved the same thing?” She stuttered out.
“Um, yeah? You okay, Honey?” Nicole asked, now on edge at the incoming storm.
Seconds of silence went by but were soon disrupted by the sounds of his wife’s cries as she took in the information.
“Baby, what's wrong? Why are you upset at that?” Oscar questioned as he went to rub her back in comfort.
“Its just- that is so sweet, and the thought that- that I could be having the same cravings, is just- I just-” His wife didn’t get to finish her sentence as more wails came out, followed by hiccuping.
Nicole and Oscar looked at each other in alarm as they realized that this was most likely the consequence of a weekend with no breakdowns. They had a long night ahead of them.

You Deserve Better
Alastor x female reader
Summary: The one and only helps you through a breakup?
A/N- Hope yall like it! This is for someone who needs comfort today!
Your boyfriend. You loved and cared for him. In fact, you had been together for seven years. You lived with each other on Earth when you were alive and well, and now together in Hell. But today was different. He cheated on you. Your loving boyfriend cheated and broke up with you.
Feeling completely despondent, you ended up curled under a blanket in your hotel room, crying your heart out. That's when Alastor 'teleported' into your room, finding you as a lump under the blanket and hearing your sobs.
"Oh... dear..." he said with a smile. You wanted to disappear, to vanish into thin air. You cursed your boyfriend mentally and everything around you. Alastor smiled; he had heard from the other residents what happened and was paying you a visit. You didn't want anything to do with him, so you cried harder because you knew he wouldn't help.
"I'm guessing your little lover boy cheated on you?" Alastor asked, tilting his head. Your voice was muffled by the blanket, but you sniffled and replied, "Broke up after seven years."
"Oh, how sad," he said in clear mockery. Not being in the mood, you said, "If you're going to be yourself with that self-mockery, then go away." You mumbled, sighed, and shifted under the blanket again.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk... now, now, there's no need to be so rude," he said with the same smile, then teleported onto your bed next to you.
"Come on out now, my dear." He grinned and poked under the blanket, making you squirm more, letting out a whine. Giving up on the mini fight the two of you were having, he won and pulled the blanket down to see your face. "There she is." Alastor's eyes roamed over your defeated form and back to your face, where your mascara was smeared. The Radio Demon let out a chuckle.
"Quite the mess, aren't you?" To be fair, you were in a vulnerable state. Even a compliment would make you all mushy, so when he said this, you started to tear up and your bottom lip puffed out. Alastor had little patience for crying, but not much.
He grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at him. "Oh, stop the tears, it's pathetic."
You sniffled. "He was right."
"Oh? And what did he say, dear?" Despite his tone, his touch was gentle. He gently wiped the mascara off your face.
"He said that I was weak and a no-good bitch who—"
Alastor interrupted by putting his clawed finger to your lips. You looked up at him with glassy eyes. "The only weak one is him. He never knew what he had."
"What are you saying?"
"I'm saying that you're not weak, dear, that you're far from weak. You deserved someone far better than him, a pathetic excuse for a man."
"Men suck, no offense."
He chuckled. "No offense taken. I agree men are terrible creatures, well, except me of course." He placed a hand on his chest, gesturing to himself with such pride.
"Others disagree." You wiped your mascara off.
"They're tyrants."
You giggled. Alastor then got off the bed, held out his hand, and you took it. He decided to make you a nice dinner, to show that maybe, just maybe, he was the one and you deserved better.

A/N: Once again writing from a dream I had, idk why I get such vivid dreams sometimes but its honestly so fun!
Also! I am so sorry that I haven't written something in so long, I had literally no motivation. But I hope you didn't miss me too much! And hey, I'm coming back with a bang! (literally, in a few aspects)
When the world almost ended 20 years ago, the government had to issue new laws. Laws that matched up women to men, in order to ensure the repopulation of the human race.
If you were of age, you were matched and married, the man basically owned you. It was very medieval in concept and for a lot also in practice. But for you, it brought you Joel who had slowly but surely became your whole world.
He was kind and took care of you. Nothing like the horror stories you would hear from the other women. He wanted to protect you and let you take your time to warm up to him.
When you finally admitted you liked him he was overjoyed. He had kissed you but took his time with everything else. He knew it was your first time and he wanted to make sure you felt safe and loved. Joel was good and you couldn't be more happy with who was chosen for you.
The world, although now different and strange was the world you had to live in. You had to stay home, unless accompanied by Joel. The goal to repopulate the earth after an alien race tried to take over and wiped out half the population was going well. But with less humans and more aliens taking up living here, it wasn't the safest anymore.
Everyone was assigned a job, a person to marry, and a home to live in. It was organized with the goal of integrating humans and the aliens. And it was working as well as it could be. In the beginning it was rough but after so many years people were getting used to the new world order.
There, of course, was still some rebel groups out there. Women who wanted freedom, aliens who didn't want to be a part of earth, and humans who didn't want them either. Riots would happen here and there because of these rebel groups. But you? You were safe with Joel, you knew that, and you trusted him fully.
You woke to the sun shining in through the large windows that lined your apartment. One good thing about being assigned housing was that most were very nice. Rolling over you were met with an empty bed, Joel was no where to be found. There was no sound coming from the connected bathroom, and just as you were about to get out of bed in search of him there was a crash in the kitchen.
Out of instinct you threw the seats off of you and ran into the kitchen. Only to be met with Joel bent down on the floor cleaning up a broken plate.
"Joel?" You questioned, the shock now leaving your voice and being replaced by amusement.
"Hi baby." He said sheepishly as he picked up the last few shards.
"You okay?"
"Yep, just trying to make you breakfast a failing miserably, the usual." He shrugs and throws the shards away before leaving his mess for a second to give you a kiss on the cheek.
"It's the thought the counts." You smile at him while watching while he finishes up his cleaning.
You sit at the counter, watching him intently. After he finishes cleaning he returns to the stove. You hum to yourself as you watch him. The way his back flexes as he moves his arms makes you bite your lip.
Joel turns as you basically eye fuck him, smirking as he notices the look on your face. Placing a plate in front of you, he smiles at you, and leans across the counter for a kiss. You give him one and utter a small thank you.
After a few moments of comfortable silence, Joel spoke up, "Got a lot of cleanup at work today, someone vandalized the train station." He said almost absentmindedly.
You nod in response not being able to hide the concerned look on your face.
"What?" He questions, quickly noticing.
"It's just-" You set down your fork, "-it was probably one of the rebels and I just don't want you to be put in danger."
He smiles lovingly at you, "I'm sure they won't be anywhere near it anymore, it was just some spray paint. Besides, you don't think I can protect myself?"
"No, I know you can protect yourself. But you'll just want to protect everyone else as well, then you'll get yourself in trouble."
Joel lets out a half scoff half laugh at your statement. He knows you are right, he is a protector by nature. He grabs your hand, pulling it towards him in an attempt to draw your eyes to his.
"The only person I want to protect is you. Sure, I will help the guys if they need it but my main goal is always to come home to you." Kissing your knuckles, he puts your hand down.
"Promise?"
"Promise."
It had been a few hours since Joel had left for work. You did what you did most days which included some cleaning with a lot of relaxing. As you were settling down on the couch after cleaning up the breakfast dishes, heavy knocking came from the front door.
The sound made you jump, the aggression of the pounds sent chills down your spine. You usually weren't one to open the door when Joel wasn't home but you did like to at least see who is was.
So, as another set of knocks sounded on the heavy wood door, you dragged your ice cold body towards it. Your feet felt like lead as you stood straight to see clearly out of the peep hole.
On the other side was your neighbor, Jill. Jill had always been nice to you, yet you didn't really like her husband. He was arrogant and rude to say the least. But as Jill stood on the other side of the door, you could see fear etching her face. She shook as she glanced back and forth down the hallway. It was almost like she thought someone was following her.
After a few seconds of debating what to do and watching Jill secretively, you decided that whatever was happening to her was important enough to help. Girls had to stick together, especially when your world had become what it was.
Just as Jill was about to pound on the door again, you opened it slowly revealing yourself to her. She seemed almost shocked that you had answered.
"Jill?" You questioned trying to snap her out of her trance enough for her to explain.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do." She looked at you with pleading eyes and you knew this was something serious.
"Come in, I'll get you something to drink. Maybe some tea?" You weren't sure what else to do but when you were anxious you liked a nice warm tea, maybe Jill did too. She nods at your suggestion and enters the house.
You close the door behind the two of you. Telling her to make herself comfortable while you made her tea.
When you returned to the living room with a nice cup of tea, Jill was still stood in the entrance of your apartment. Arms crossed like she was trying to protect herself.
Slowly you made your way over to her, holding out the mug to her. She took it after a beat or two of staring at it.
"Please, sit down. Take your time, you can tell me what happened." She looked up from the mug to you as you spoke and nodded tentatively, but did what you said anyway.
Silence washed over the two of you and stayed there for almost three whole minutes. You weren't sure what to do so you kept glancing around like something on walls would tell you what to do.
Suddenly she placed her mug down on the coffee table. Your head snapped towards her, you had almost forgotten why she was here. Something had clearly happened and you were curious what.
"I'm sorry for coming over here so abruptly, it's terrible of me to put you in this position." She said with a sigh.
"It's no problem. I can tell you aren't doing great so I'd like to be there for you if I can be." You offer a smile which she almost returns.
"Uh well how do I put this?" She sits and thinks for a second.
"My match...my match isn't such a good fit. He isn't a good person. Since the wedding day he has gotten drunk almost every night. He gets angry and yells and breaks things. He's just a bad person. Even not drunk he isn't a good person." You nod along to the things she's saying. you've heard of bad matches but nothing this bad.
"Well for a while I put up with it. I mean what else am I going to do? This is what had been chosen for me. He didn't always take it out on me too, he would yell at nothing or himself. But eventually it was turned towards me. Nothing I did was right and no matter how hard I worked to keep everything perfect he'd find something wrong with it." Tears are beginning to form in the corners of her eyes the longer she tells you about her husband.
All you can do is sit there and listen, unsure of how to respond. You've never seen Joel angry, let alone as angry as she is describing her husband.
After taking a moment to compose herself, Jill continues, "He would yell and call me names. Tell me how worthless I am and he would throw things, break things. He never got physical with me so I took it. I took the names, I took the insults, all of it. But I couldn't take it anymore, I tried to stand up for myself. And-and-" She chokes up not able to finish her sentence.
This is when you reach out your arm to touch her shoulder. An attempt at a reassuring gesture that just has her jumping back instead. She recovers and looks up at you with apologetic eyes. You give a small smile back.
"He hurt me, badly. I thought he wouldn't stop, it just kept happening. I think I blacked out because when I came to he was gone. I didn't know what else to do so I came over here. I think I should go to the hospital but I can't go without him. I just don't know what to do." She was fully crying now, her words almost indiscernible as she sobbed.
You offered her a tissue which she took and sobbed even more into. Unsure if you should try and comfort her again, you decided it was better to try and this time she didn't shy away. Instead she leaned into the touch and you stroked her shoulder slowly. The action seemed to calm her down remarkably and she eventually calmed down enough that you felt it was a good time to finally respond.
"I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm so sorry we don't get choices or options. I'm so sorry we are forced to submit to insane ideals and insane people." She lets out another sob. "Listen, Joel doesn't work too far from here and if you think you are strong enough we can go to him and he can take you to the hospital. As long as we have a man with us, they should treat you."
"You mean...go out alone."
You debate what you had just suggested, I guess you had suggested going out alone but it wouldn't be too far of a journey.
"It's not too far and we aren't alone we have each other. We can wear disguises if it makes you feel better. I just want to be able to get you the help you need."
"Are you sure Joel will help me?"
You nod, "If I ask him, he will do it."
She frowns a bit at your statement, you didn't realize how perfect you were making your relationship seem after she just poured her heart out to you.
"Listen, he will help, I promise."
So, the two of you donned some hood and masks in an attempt to cover your hair and feminine features. You also gave Jill an ice pack to soothe her injuries for the time being.
"Ready?" You glanced at her trying to decipher what she was thinking. She stood there still looking very guarded. "Here, we can hold hands, make sure the other doesn't get lost." You offer your hand to her with a smile, she smiles back and takes it.
Leaving your apartment the two of you make your way to the ground floor. It wasn't often that you left the apartment but when you did it was obviously always accompanied by Joel. Something about leaving on your own felt freeing but very scary at the same time.
The train station was a short walk from your building, maybe half a block. Joel always told you exactly where he was working that day and what he was doing. You liked to hear his stories of the outside world and it made you feel safe to know he was safe.
As the two of you got closer to the bustling crowds trying to catch their trains, you felt Jill tense up next to you. You glance at her and squeeze her hand tighter. This draws her attention to you.
"Not far now, we'll be fine."
You didn't know how much you would regret this sentence because as soon as you caught sight of Joel's salt and pepper hair an explosion busted out the wall a mere hundred or so feet to the left of you.
Through the hole in the wall came a group of rebel aliens, screaming and yelling something. With how loud and close the explosion was you ears were ringing. You glanced around at the crowd who was now running around in fear. Trying to catch a glimpse of your husband in the mess, you felt a hand tug yours. Looking down you saw Jill on the ground, curled into herself. She was crying again.
You jumped into action trying to pull her up so no one stepped on her, but she wouldn't budge. "Jill please, get up we need to get somewhere safer!"
She still didn't move, you looked around desperately. Either you were going to find Joel or someone else that could help. That's when you caught a glimpse of him. There was no way he could hear you over the yells and chaos but you called his name anyway.
And it was almost like his ears were trained to hear your voice and your voice alone because not long after beginning to call out to him, he locked eyes with him. He took a double take, convincing himself it wasn't really you. Then his eyebrows furrowed realizing he wasn't imagining things and quickly pushed through the crowd towards you.
He was now stood in front of you, your face in his hands as he looked you over. "Baby what are you doing here? Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
The questions came quickly, too quickly to answer so you nodded instead.
"Joel, I'm fine. I came to get your help and then the explosion..." You trailed off not sure how to explain yourself now that you had put yourself in such danger.
"Tell me later, come on, I gotta get you out of here." He tries to drag you out but you pull him back, stopping him.
"I can't go, we need to get Jill."
"Jill? Our neighbor, Jill?" You nod and gesture to her still on the ground.
He looks confused but doesn't question it, instead he walks over to Jill.
"Jill? Can you walk?" She shakes her head no.
"Can I carry you, we really need to get somewhere safe." She takes minute and eyes him closely, trying to decide if he was trustworthy. Finally, she nods.
So he picks her up carefully and turns to you, "Hold onto my shirt and don't let go." You nod and grab ahold of the plaid shirt he was currently wearing.
That's how the three of you made your way out of the chaos. But Joel didn't stop until you were at least a block away from the danger before stopping and setting Jill carefully down onto her shaking legs.
You quickly made your way to her to help her stabilize herself and when she did you looked back at Joel. His back was turned to you and his hands were in his hair. He wasn't happy, you knew that, so you didn't speak just kept trying to calm down Jill.
Finally he turned back around, eyes filled with something you had never seen before. At least something you had never seen in Joel.
He breathed deeply, "I need to get you home." He said simply.
"Okay, but Jill needs to go to the hospital first."
"What?" The curtness of his voice had you reeling back a bit, was he angry? You had never really seen Joel angry before, not at you at least.
Joel pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to calm himself before he said something he would regret.
"We will take her to the hospital, make sure she is in safe hands, then we are going home."
"But what if she needs me?" The look on his face at your response should've had you stopping at 'but', so you just nodded.
And that's what you did. Made sure Jill was in safe hands and that her family was called to help her and you were dragged home. It was less than twenty minutes before Joel was pushing you back out the door and dragging you home.
You didn't protest but you also didn't know what to say to him. So as the two of you entered your apartment, you went to explain yourself. Instead your explanations were muffled by Joel's lips on yours. The kiss was desperate, like he was unsure you were really there. Maybe unsure you were really okay?
"Joel-" You mumble into his lips as he doesn't stop kissing yours. A grunt sounds from him as he hears you say his name.
He doesn't want to talk it seems because his lips stay on yours and his hands find the back of your thighs lifting you up into arms. You help him by jumping and wrapping your legs around his hips. Your arms find their place behind his neck.
Joel carries you through the apartment, lips never letting up. They only disconnect as he drops you onto your bed and quickly takes off his shirt. Leaning back over you his knee is placed between your legs and you gasp at how close he is, his body heat, making you feel even warmer than you already did.
"I thought I lost you." He says simply but you can see in his eyes he really means those words.
But you don't have a chance to respond because his lips are back on you. This time trailing down your jaw to your neck, only to be stopped by the fabric of your shirt. Joel lets out another grunt as he grabs the bottom of shirt and quickly whips it off of you like it had offended him.
As soon as the shirt is off of you his lips are back on your neck, now trailing to the places he really wanted to get to. Your bra is unclasped quicker than you can even process what is happening. His mouth instantly biting at the sensitive skin of your breast, biting at it only a bit before licking down to your nipple.
You gasp as his mouth latches onto the sensitive bud. You hadn't realized how turned you were until that moment. Sure you wanted this, you always wanted Joel but the danger of the day was catching up with you. Now you needed him, needed to feel protected, loved.
"Joel please, I-" Hearing you beg had him unlatching his mouth from your breast and looking up at you.
For almost the first time in an hour he finally addresses you, "What do you want baby?"
"You Joel, I need you. I-I'm sorry." The apology wasn't what he was asking for but it was what he needed to hear because as soon as those two words left your lips he was returning his attention to your chest.
He now attached himself to your other breast, giving that nipple what it had been missing. His hands worked at the button of your pants, undoing it and the zipper quickly. He shoved them down your legs with your help, lips never leaving your flushed skin.
As soon as your pants were down his hands were playing with the hem of your underwear. The thin fabric causing his touches to feel even more intense as he teased you just a bit. But he knew neither of you could wait much longer so he pushed them to the side and started stroking your clit.
Slow circles at first which had you arching your back, chest pushed even farther into his mouth as he continued to take care of both of your nipples. He stroked your clit a few more times before letting his fingers dip further down, teasing your slit.
You were wet, very wet, so they slid easily against you and you gasped. You could feel him smirk against your nipple. But this time he detached himself from it and returned his mouth to yours.
He worked a finger into you in time with your kissing. Then two, then three. They curved against your insides, you moaned into the kiss and bit down on his lip as he brushed the perfect spot inside of you.
Your head tossed back as you got closer to your peak the more he stroked you g spot. When you gripped his shoulders, nails digging into his skin enough to draw blood, he pulled his fingers out of you. Leaving you at the brink of an orgasm. You let out a whine as your head snapped back up to look at him.
"I don't like punishing you, doll, but tonight you're gonna need some discipline." You didn't argue just let your head drop slightly. He brought his down and caught your lips in his, forcing your head back up.
You didn't notice but he had unbuckled his jeans and pushed them and his underwear down just enough to let his member loose. He doesn't take your panties off either, instead he leaves them how they were when he was fingering you as his tip teases your entrance. You were still very sensitive from your denied orgasm so your hips jerked up at the contact.
He pretended not to notice and slapped his dick onto your clit, causing you to buck up once again. He pulled back, eyes searching yours. Joel had this look about him when the two of you had sex, something between dominance and love but right now it was a fire. One you hadn't seen before and it made you nervous but oh so excited. It had you gushing between your legs.
You bit your lip as his tip pushed past your entrance, sliding in easily with how wet you were, not to mention his thick fingers being there only minutes earlier.
"Always so tight." Joel grunts as he hilts himself fully inside of you. He stays like that reveling in the feeling before slowly pulling himself almost fully out of you just to snap his hips forward back into you.
He continues this and it is so aggressive that you need to grip onto his shoulders again for any form of support. He had never fucked you like this before. It had your brain fogging up with pleasure.
Your peak catches up with you quickly. You whimper, needing the release you have been waiting for. Joel notices and brings his thumb down to rub your clit a few times. Your heart swells thinking he is going to let you cum. But it is too good to be true because just as you begin to clench around him he is pulling away and out of you.
"Told you, you need to remember how to be a good girl first." The name has you swallowing a lump in your throat.
"I am Joel, please, I need you inside me." He stutters at your words, but recovers quickly, flipping you over onto your stomach.
"You don't just get to cum whenever you want, gonna have to work for it pretty girl." He kneads your ass as he speaks, clearly liking his new view.
"I'll do anything." You speak so quietly, Joel almost misses it. A dark chuckle leaves his lips.
"Want you to suck my dick so badly right now, you have no idea. But this-" His hand lands onto your round ass with a smack, "-this is too tempting right now."
Another smack and his member is returning between your legs as he pushes into you. You moan loudly at the intrusion, constantly getting more and more sensitive the more he denies you of what you need.
He thrusts in an out of you at the same speed as earlier. When his hips snap into yours, he lands a smack onto your ass. He relishes the feeling of you sucking him in each time he spanks you. The feeling causing you to clench onto his dick.
The hand not making your skin burn red is holding your hip so tightly the skin is turning white, you there will be bruises there tomorrow. Hell, at this rate you'll have all kinds of marks tomorrow.
"Want to fill you up, need to see you full of my cum." Although you knew what had gotten into Joel, you had never seen this side of him and it was almost jarring how much of a change it was. Was this the true him? Was he scared to show this side of himself? Scared you couldn't handle it? Fuck was he wrong.
"Please, I need your cum." And you decided to truly show him he was wrong. You liked this side of him and you wanted him to know that.
Joel grunted snapping his hips into yours so roughly it had you seeing stars. You could tell he was close and unsurprisingly so were you. You pushed your hips back into his and he was too far gone to deny you any longer.
"Joel, baby, please can I cum now?"
"Let go for me, I need you clench around this dick as I fill you with my seed. Want to see you all round and pregnant for me." His words send you over the edge with the orgasm you have been waiting for all night.
You clench like a vice onto his cock, the feeling sending him over his edge as well. The hand that was spanking you is sent up your spine to grip the back of your hair pulling your head back so he can attach his lips to yours.
You each moan into each other's mouths as he continues to pump you full of his seed. He works you both through your orgasms as your lips work against each other as well. Your breaths come out ragged as he finally pulls away, resting his forehead against yours.
His eyes are closed as he speaks, "Did I hurt you baby?"
"No! I uh, I actually enjoyed it very much." He laughs at your response.
"I'm glad." He pauses. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Your brows furrow.
"For getting mad and getting rough with you, I never wanted to show you this side of me."
"Hey, look at me." He does. "I like every side of you. I should be the one apologizing right now. I got myself into danger by going against the rules."
Joel sighs and swallows the lump that was sitting in the back of his throat.
"I love you." Is all he can think to say.
"I love you." Is all you need to respond.

you’re like 30
Leah Williamson x Reader
I wanted to get my tillies fic out tonight but I feel so sick but I still wanted to write. Here is this short asf Leah piece!!!
————————————————————————
You woke up to Leah’s arms tightly around your torso, you being her little spoon as you slept on your left side of the bed. It was Leah’s birthday today and you couldn’t be more excited. You very gently peeled the last arm off of you waist, and slightly shifted her leg back that was hoisted over your legs to hold you closer.
You went down the hall after quietly creeping out, grabbing your bag of presents you had put on the dining room table, all nicely wrapped and also turning on your coffee machine, making yourself one and getting Leah a hot chocolate from the machine also. While the coffee was being made you decided to quickly post Leah’s birthday post on instagram that you both did for each other every year, consitisting of old and new photos of each other.
@y/n.y/l/n
happy 27th my precious girl. Thanks for being my whole world. So happy to be with you on your day, I hope it’s one to remember my love. Love you forever and always ⭐️ 🍾 @leahwilliamson
you quickly posted it before you heard Leah’s footsteps come up behind you. “No no baby go back to bed please” you smiled
“I’m already up” she shrugged still half asleep “happy birthday to me” she smiled, saying the part that you missed.
“Oh of course” you said gently grabbing her neck so you could give her a long morning kiss “happy birthday baby” you said softly before kissing her again. You handed her a mug before she thanked you and you brought her over to the living room.
You handed her a large bag that would sit up to your waist if you put in on the ground.
“What on earth” your girlfriend laughed
“There’s nothing crazy big. There was just a lot and it felt reasonable” you said motioning to the size
She unwrapped multiple presents from you. Like a new cowboy hat that you knew she would adore, an iPad for her piano app (well hopefully you didn’t spend that money just for that but the piano is an option), heaps of clothes from new and nice brands that she fell in love with, some random and silly gadgets you found online and while scrolling on instagram, and two new records - an old vintage record name ‘greatest hits of ‘75’ and a country hits one.
She gave you multiple hugs kisses after opening each gift. “Stop getting me so much” she teased, tickling into your side while you laid in her arms on the couch, wrapping paper surrounding you as you squirming under her touch.
“Never!” You exclaimed. “Wait was your card in there?” You asked her remembering she hadn’t opened it.
She peeked back in the gift bag “don’t see one honey”
“Hang on” you said, getting out of her arms and heading up to your shared room to grab it. “Here” you smiled excitedly as your threw the card on her lap before sitting next to her, head leaning now on her shoulder.
dear Leah
My old girl is getting older now
You mean everything on this planet to me and even further into the universe. I wouldn’t want to wake up next to a more sweeter, genuine, prettier, passionate, hotter and loving woman than you my Leah.
Thank you for being there for me when times were lower than usual, and I’m so proud of all of your achievements, it gets me emotional thinking of your beautiful and amazing career.
Love you to the moon and back and I hope you have the best day
Love your girl y/n xoxoxoxo
You studied her face as she read it, not quite being able to see her facial expressions from the next to the girl. When she finally looked up from the paper she brought her hand up to her eye to wipe it. “Oh baby thank you” she chuckled pulling you on top of her so you could cuddle into her,
“Of course” you smiled in the crook of her next “happy birthday I love you”
“I love you. And your old girl huh?” She said raising an eyebrow
“Yeah you’re getting old” you smiled shrugging, looking down at your smiling blonde.
“Your 26 and I’m 27. I was your age yesterday” she laughed
“Your like 30 basically. Maybe it’s time you settle down” you shrugged in a joking way “scratch the current plan you carry the children and I’ll be the grumpy dad who goes to work” you giggled
“Hm let’s take it day by day huh. And stick to our decision. And no one is giving up their career yet” she told you, wide grin still plastered on her face.
“Smart. Ok now read the second paper in the thing” you said pointing at the envelope before clapping your hands in excitement.
She pulled out an A4 piece of paper with some sort of writing printed out and an image of skydivers. “Oh my we are going sky diving?” She laughed throwing her head back
“Close. Bungee jumping. I printed out the wrong photo”
“That’s scary” she said cutely before you pinched her cheeks
“No we get to do it together. We are like connected together and get to jump together” you exclaimed. You loved heights. Leah didn’t mind them, you wouldn’t have gotten the experience if she didn’t like them. “Plus it’s way more safer than skydiving so” you shrugged looking back down at her.
“I love you and thank you. I’m excited to do it with you” she smiled kissing your lips slowly.
“Goody cause it’s tomorrow!” You said happily
“What!“
—————————
Super short but I’ll start my draft for the fic you guys asked for tomorrow.
Love you! Stay nice in the requests and have the best day xxx

I was struggling a bit with schoolwork and going travelling but I hope you’re satisfied with this ending xoxox
type: angst with fluff ending . . . maybe? 👀
part 1
“Y/N?”
Oooo irony was such a little bitch.
You watched as a wave of shock crossed Ollie’s face as he stared down at you, both of you unable to form even a word, as if they’d all gotten stuck in your throat. A thousand thoughts were running through your mind as you laid at his feet. Frozen in shock, this couldn’t have gone in a worse direction than it already was. Your face was flushed in embarrassment and you just knew your entire face was hot red. You opened your mouth to say something, anything to salvage your dignity but as luck would have it, no words left your mouth.
“. . . hey there.” you attempted to sound relaxed and sombre but you unfortunately ended up sounding like a squeaking mouse instead.
Your hand shot to your mouth as you slowly sat up. Ollie chuckled, wiping his cheeks from any stray tears with the back of his hand. You crossed your legs as he sat across from you, still fighting to find words that could possibly explain the whole word vomit you’d just thrown up. You met his eyes, fighting the urge to jump up and run out the door. You wanted to still be mad at him, to leave but something stopped you. Whatever it was clearly wanting you to just suffer even more.
“Hey there,” he cracked a smile, you swallowed and chuckled but it sounded about as empty as you felt right now.
“Is it true? Everything you said?” he slowly asked, his voice delicate like a thin pane of glass about to crack any moment You swallowed in a weak attempt to keep the word vomit in that was about to spill everywhere once again.
“Yeah. I didn’t expect you to open the door though, I was actually just about to go home.” you trailed off as you began to get up, but he grabbed your wrist as if it was the only thing here keeping him on Earth. You froze and looked down at him with a heavy heart. You felt like you were going to burst into tears all over again. It was so pathetic it made you sick to your stomach, how could you let yourself get so carried away?
“Please. . . stay? We can talk afterwards, I promise. I want to apologise properly, just please stay.” he sounded so defeated, so hollow and empty that you almost forgot the reason you were ever mad at him in the first place.
You looked at the door then slowly back at Ollie, you never thought you could love and hate someone so much at the same time. You wanted to leave, the mix of emotions you felt inside you were overwhelming and getting the best of you. Yet, a small part inside of you told you that you HAD to stay. Not for yourself but for Ollie, maybe not for the guy he was now but for that small freckled kid you once knew.
“You’ll race right?” you asked him hopefully, you hated the way your voice showed how much you cared for him. It made you feel weak, vulnerable in front of someone you never thought you’d feel that in front. Ollie nodded, his hand still clutching your wrist as he looked up at you. His mouth was slightly parted, as if he wanted to say something more. So you waited, a second too long perhaps but the words got lost in his mouth and you held back your disappointment.
Your heart ached as you looked at him, his eyes still red and you could see that he was fighting back tears. It reminded you of when the two of you were in third grade and a bunch of kids were killing ants on the playground. Ollie had burst out crying. You used to tease him about it all the time but the truth was whenever you saw Ollie crying it felt like a part of your heart was being torn apart.
And it made you mad, and you promised yourself that you’d never let Ollie cry again. A pretty unrealistic promise but it didn’t matter to you, not to 8 year-old you anyways. And the world be damned if they tried to stop you, because he was your best friend and what wouldn’t one do for their best friend?
You sighed, pulling your eyes away from him, unable to stand the sight of him any longer, knowing that if you stayed you’d break and fall apart.
“I’ll be with Arthur.” you told him as you pulled away from him, he gently let go of your wrist, his arms falling down beside him. Holding back the urge to hug him you left him alone, unknowing the way that he stared after you as you disappeared out the door. You felt sick to your stomach and your legs like putty underneath you as you walked down the hallway. It seemed to stretch out like a never ending tunnel as you stumbled down it. It all just didn’t make sense. Why did it all have to be so complicated?
Arthur was standing by the Ferrari motorhome lounge with his brother, Charles Leclerc whom you’d met briefly at a race in Monza. Upon seeing your pale face Arthur quickly excused himself from his older brother and approached you, concern written all over his face. You’d always considered Arthur to be a close friend, since he was good pals with Ollie you’d always see him out and
about the paddock. He’d always keep you company at races and when you and Ollie began to drift apart Arthur would always text to see how you were doing. You were eternally grateful for that, it almost seemed like you should have been falling for him this entire time.
“Are you okay?” he asked, holding your shoulders and looking at you, his eyes searching your face for an answer. You nodded, unable to meet his eyes, instead glancing back to where the Ollie’s driver room was. The hallway almost calling out to you, wanting you to stumble back down it.
“Did you get Ollie out?” Arthur asked as the two of you sat down on the lounge in the Ferrari motorhome. You sank into the seat, wishing you could just disappear at that moment.
“Yeah.” you replied flatly, he looked over at you, he knew something had happened.
“We’re going to talk later. I just, just wish. . . I wish he knew how much he means to me. I want to be someone’s first choice for once, I want to be his first choice for once.” you trailed off slowly. No truer words could’ve been spoken at that moment. You felt so stupid saying that out loud but it had never sounded so right, it felt right inside of you. To Ollie you’d always been a second choice and deep down you knew you’d always be. It all just felt too unfair, you wish you could’ve given up easier, to be able to forget everything that had happened and move on.
It would’ve made life a whole lot easier if you could. But the universe be damned, it wouldn’t let you.
“I’m not going to say I get, because I don’t really but, I get it.” Arthur sent a playful smile your way in hopes of cheering you up. You rolled your eyes, but your heart felt nonetheless lighter.
“Thanks for staying and getting Ollie out, I wasn’t sure we’d ever be able to get him out. But thanks to you we did.” Arthur smiled, you grinned back, knowing that you’d made the right decision to stay.
You couldn’t help but feel overjoyed for Ollie when he finished P7 in his first F1 race. Your chest swelled with pride as you watched him hop out of his car and run over to give his Father a giant hug, a bear hug, one could say (i’m such a comedian haha). You watched as the relief and happiness washed over him.
“I have to go find Charles. Are you going to be okay by yourself?” Arthur asked as he stood up, looking over at you. You nodded, sending him a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry I’ll be fine. I’ll come find you afterwards.”
He sent you a nod, knowing you needed to speak to Ollie anyways before disappearing into the crowd to go find his brother.
You patiently waited throughout the whole podium celebration, waiting for a moment to catch Ollie alone to talk. You never realised just how amazing and impressive it was attending a Formula 1 Race, sure you’d attended many of Ollie’s races but never an F1 race. You watched as Ollie spoke to an interviewer, his cheeks flushed a bright red and sweat rolling down the side of his face.
You couldn’t help but smile, proudly? Happily? Whatever it was, you knew that deep down you’d never stop loving this boy. You could hate him for everything, for leaving you, for forgetting about you, but you’d never stop loving him and some part of you was okay with that.
A couple of hours later you spotted Ollie alone, finally getting a chance and the courage to go and speak to him. He was sitting in an armchair having just got off the phone with someone, a part of you wondered if that was Estelle. But you pushed it down as you slowly began to approach him. Unsure what you were going to say, your mind began to race. You never realised how much you now had to think before you spoke to Ollie, when you were kids the conversation flowed so easily you almost didn’t have to think.
Now, you found yourself wondering what on Earth you were going to say to him at all.
Ollie noticed you walking toward him and a smile broke onto his face, your heart and stomach immediately erupting in butterflies. Maybe it was all going to be okay, maybe everything you had overthought (overthunk?) was all just you getting the better of yourself.
“Ollie. . .” you began to say when you were only a few feet in front of him, but something in his gaze shifted and his eyes were drawn to something behind you. And if you thought everything earlier was bad luck and timing then it was nothing compared to this.
“Ollie!” a light hearted voice rang, you froze. Your heart dropped to your stomach as you turned around, your eyes laid on Estelle who was walking toward Ollie with that blinding perfect smile of hers. You desperately looked back to Ollie, your mind racing, hoping, wishing that somehow he would turn her away.
What had she ever done for him?
What had she done to make him love her?
And then suddenly it was either you or her. It always had been for Ollie, you were his best friend but Estelle was his girlfriend. You wished Ollie knew what you were thinking at that moment, that if he left you for her, you’d leave.
You’d leave and never run after him again.
And maybe that was a good thing.
But as fate would have it, it wasn’t meant to be. Ollie would always run to her, choose her side, no matter what she did. Ollie pushed past to you, maybe you were crazy, delusional even, but you swore you saw a look of regret on his face. But of course, that couldn’t be true.
You should’ve known better.
What a liar. What a cheat. What a-
A soft knock interrupted your thoughts, you glanced up at the door. It slowly swung open, Bianca’s face peeking through the crack. She broke into a comforting smile as she approached and sat down at the end of your bed.
It had been a week and yet somehow it was the only thing you thought about. He chose her.
What did you really expect?
In the end it only made you feel more stupid and pathetic than ever.
“You know, if it makes you get out of bed, your Mother’s baked cookies.” Bianca shrugged in an effort to make you smile but it failed miserably. You just wanted to wallow in self pity and eat ice cream all day. But your Mother and Bianca seemed to be oddly against that.
“Bianca,” you grumbled into your pillow, she sighed, already knowing what you were going to say.
“Why does he even like her? I don’t see it. He’s been obsessed with her ever since high school, what has she got that I don’t have?” you complained, knowing it wasn’t going to make you feel any better. But maybe ranting about it all day would at least boost your ego.
It in fact, did not. Not even in the slightest. Complaining about it all day just made it occupy your mind even more.
“Comparing yourself to Estelle isn’t going to change anything, and hey you never know maybe she’s got a good personality.” she shrugged. You raised your eyebrows at her as she tried to suppress her giggles.
“I don’t think you even believe that.” you laughed dryly. She nodded, “Trust me, I don’t.”
The two of you burst out in laughter and for a moment everything was okay. And you believed it.
“C’mon, let’s go eat some cookies.” Bianca offered after the two of you had stopped laughing. You nodded, feeling better than before, the thought of Ollie still at the back of your mind but at least it didn’t hurt as much anymore.
The two of you made your way downstairs to the kitchen where your Mother was.
“Hey girls,” she smiled as the two of you took a seat at the bench.
“Oh, can you go quickly and buy some milk for the hot chocolates? Take an umbrella with you.” your Mother asked, you let out an internal groan. You glanced out the window at the awful weather outside that almost mirrored what you felt inside.
“Can we both go?” you asked, leaning on Bianca, but your Mother answered suspiciously fast. “No, I need her to help me with the dishes.”
“Sure.” you answered sceptically, jumping off the stool and going to grab a jacket.
You ran through the rain, dodging puddles and potholes as you made your way down the street. The rain began to slow down as you entered the shop, you quickly popped into the dairy aisle and grabbed a carton off the shelf.
Paying for it, eager to get back home, you stuffed the change and receipt in your pocket and zoomed (zoomed . . .?) out the door.
Ring, ring.
Who is it?
It’s irony, she’s being a bitch again.
You halted in your steps as your eyes locked with Ollie’s.
You knew it. You were right. What a liar. Your Mother had bought Milk yesterday. Well wasn’t that just lovely? Now, you couldn’t trust your best friend or your Mother. The person who had birthed you, betrayal at its finest right there.
You weren’t even thinking straight when you spoke, you were so tired of this, of him. “Why are you here?” you demanded coldly, expecting a deep and emotional answer.
“To buy milk. . . for hot chocolate.” Ollie answered as he stared at the milk in your hands. You blinked. Ollie blinked back.
“Did your Mum send you?” you asked, honestly impressed that both your Mother’s could curate such a witty plan. It didn’t take a genius to put two and two together. Ollie must’ve spoken to his Mother about everything that had happened. He nodded.
“Huh. Well that’s great. I’ll see you around.” you turned to walk away from him and head back home. Your clothes already soaked wet from the rain, especially your socks, and that wasn’t a nice feeling at all.
“Wait, Y/N, please.” Ollie called after you, making you stop. You hated that it was so easy, that he could call your name and you’d drop everything for him.
“Why, Oliver? Do you want to tell me that you want to talk to me and then just blow me off for Estelle? Because I won’t let you, not anymore. I’m so sick and tired of this, hoping, waiting for you to even give me a minute of your time. To pay me even the littlest of attention at all. Do you think it’s easy to live like this?
To want someone you can never have? I don’t even understand why I still want you, I should have never gone to Saudi Arabia, it was a mistake. I should’ve moved on, I should have never caught feelings thinking that maybe one day we’d end up together. But no, it’s got to be so much more complicated than that, because you give me false hope and then I end up being the fool. The pathetic girl who still loves you.”
You swallowed hard, the breath in your lungs gone. Ollie stared at you, taken aback by your outburst. Good. At least now he knew. You’d said what you’d kept inside for so long and it felt good.
“I never meant to blow you off like that, Y/N.” Ollie began, it was your turn to be taken aback. The two of you were still standing in the rain, it almost felt like a dang movie scene.
“I was just so confused after the driver's room. And it isn’t an excuse, I’ll never stop being sorry for the way that I treated you after I left. After I left you. I wanted to call and text you but I just thought it would make it easier to stop loving you if I didn’t say anything. That if I tried hard enough, my feelings for you would go away. I was too selfish and tried to replace you with Estelle which wasn’t fair to either of you. I wanted you to move on, to continue living life, find someone else who was better and could be here in Chelmsford for you. I’m sorry, I really hope you can forgive me, I never meant for it to end up like this.”
There was a long string of silence. Just the two of you standing in the rain, staring at one another like no one else in the world mattered. And maybe this is what you both needed, for closure.
But you just couldn’t help yourself.
“You loved me. . .?” you whispered, you doubted he heard you at all. It was almost like you were asking yourself that question.
“Are you kidding, how could I not? The girl who was the first person to ever let me ramble on about Where’s Wally? Y/N, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” Ollie confessed, you felt like you’d died of a heart attack and gone to heaven. It all felt like one of those fever dreams.
He had to be lying, it all felt too good to be true.
“Ollie. . .” you trailed off, the words leaving your mind the moment you opened your mouth. His eyes hadn’t left yours, as if he was urging you to continue, to say something, anything.
But you couldn’t.
What if you said something and ruined everything? It had happened too many times in the past week, especially around Ollie.
“I don’t want to say it. . . “ you whispered to him over the soft patter of the rain. You wiped your tears away, hoping that he hadn’t noticed the way your voice wobbled when you spoke. Your throat hurt from holding back tears.
“Then let me say it for you.” Ollie said taking a courageous step toward you. Your breath got caught in your throat as you looked up at him. He gently took your hands in his, heart skipping a beat you were enthralled by the giant brown eyes you fell in love with all those years ago.
“I love you.”
He said every word with certainty you knew he couldn’t be lying.
You weren’t the fool anymore. The lovesick girl who’d fallen for her best friend. You were the girl he loved too. And maybe there were still a million things left to figure out, to understand, but in that moment time stood still and everything you’d ever hoped for, wished for, came true.
You were pretty sure you weren’t even breathing anymore. Your heart was beating so loudly in your ears and it didn’t help that it began to go 100km/hour when Ollie began to lean in slowly.
And it was perfect. Everything you’d ever imagined and better. Maybe it would be difficult but anything that came your way, you’d handle it together.
You pulled away, your lips tingling like you’d downed a bunch of pop rocks.
“I can’t believe it took me so long to do that.” Ollie whispered, his lips still grazing yours. You couldn’t help but chuckle as you gente cupped his cheek, pressing a kiss to his lips again.
“Want to come over for hot chocolate and cookies, Bearman?” you asked, looking up at him, your cheeks flushed. He grinned back.
“You know me so well.”
“You’re crazy.” you laughed.
“Only for you,” he replied.
And it was true.

Evan Buckley Masterlist
Summary: Eddie is surprised when his little sister comes to LA and asks to stay with him. She needs a fresh start, a break away from everything back home, and her ex. When she meets the team, Evan takes a special interest in her.
Enjoy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Is Eddie home?"
(Y/n) didn't bother to try and smile. She didn't put on the brave face she had been practising on the ride down here. She didn't stand tall or square her shoulders or try and look the image of calm and collected like she hoped to when she thought about coming down here.
She knew she looked a mess.
Her jumper was hanging off her shoulders, being two sizes too big for her small frame. Her arms were bound around her chest to try and stop herself from shaking. Her lips were chapped and bloodied from where she had picked and bitten them over the past week out of nervous habit. If anyone looked at her hands they would see she had bitten off most of her nails and her thumbs were raw from where she'd started biting the skin too.
She looked windswept with disshevelled hair and dried tears swiped across her cheeks. And with a subtle trembling set in her bones, she looked almost hypothermic.
This was the right house; (Y/n) knew it. She recognised her brother's signature truck in the drive. And when she leaned to look around the kindly woman in the doorway and peered into the hall, she saw the pictures hanging around the walls. Eddie and Chris, scattered throughout the house. She was at the right address.
"I'll go get him for you."
When the woman turned and headed back inside, (Y/n) let out the breath she had been holding in and tried to smile.
That had to be Carla. The woman Eddie talked about a lot who helped look after Chris when he was at work.
There had been a look in her eyes, a small sense of familiarity and (Y/n) guessed Carla recognised her from one or two of the pictures Eddie had about the house. She just didn't know or realise who (Y/n) was now she was here in the flesh.
"Who is it?" Eddie finished his mouthful of pasta and wiped his mouth on his sleeve before he pushed up from the table.
Who was at the door? He wasn't expecting anyone and he couldn't think who it could be. What young women did he know who didn't work at the station or at Chris's school? It couldn't be anyone from the school coming round at teatime and if it was, Carla would have recognised them.
Just as Eddie stood up from the table, Chris hopped down and sped out the kitchen first to find out who was at the door. His interest was peaked at having a stranger at the door.
"Chris-" A shiver rolled down Eddie's spine and he cringed when Chris let out an excited scream. Who on Earth had turned up tonight?
"Auntie (Y/n)!"
Adrenaline coursed through Eddie's stomach and he hurried up when he heard Chris. (Y/n) was here? His youngest sister? Why was she in LA? Why hadn't she told him she was coming down? Eddie would have picked her up from wherever she arrived in town, he would have made the house look a bit tidier. He and Chris would have come to get her and shown her around and gone out for tea if they knew she was coming down.
He watched with wide eyes and a growing smile when Chris barrelled over to the front door and latched his arms around (Y/n)'s waist. He burrowed his head into her abdomen and clung to her like a monkey, still screaming excitedly into her stomach.
Out of all three of Eddie's sisters, (Y/n) was the one he was closest to and she was the one who had the best connection with Chris. It had been extremely hard on them both to leave (Y/n) back in Texas. And when (Y/n) moved, she moved closer to LA but she was still over an hour's drive from them.
Eddie could handle leaving his parents and his two other sisters, but he didn't want to leave his youngest sibling who he had taken care of all his life.
It had broken Chris's heart to know that his aunt would no longer be ten minutes away.
"Hey buddy- oh, you've grown so much." (Y/n) couldn't keep the tears from falling down her face, both from joy out of seeing Chris, and pain from how tightly he clung to her.
"You're here!"
"I thought I'd surprise my boys," (Y/n) leaned her head down and pressed hundreds of kisses against the top of Chris's hair until he was squealing and squirming against her. She held him tighter and willed herself not to burst into tears but as soon as she lifted her head and looked at Eddie, the waterworks started again.
"Alright, my turn. Chris, go finish dinner with Carla while I help auntie (Y/n) in please." Eddie gently turned Chris around in the other direction and gave him a nudge. (Y/n) wasn't going anywhere and Chris could cling to her and tell her everything that had been going on as soon as he'd finished his dinner and Eddie had the chance to hug his sister for himself.
Once Chris toddled off into the dining room, clapping his hands along the way, Eddie turned back to face (Y/n). He smiled brightly down at her and gasped when she flung her arms around his neck and reeled him in for a hug.
"I can't believe you're here. Why didn't you tell me you were coming down?" He kissed the side of her head and deadlocked his arms around her waist. But he could feel the smile fading from his face when he felt how badly she was shaking.
His hand planted down in the middle of her back and he tensed up the longer she held onto him without the intention of letting go.
Panic surged through him when he felt her tears soaking into his shoulder and Eddie started to realise she wasn't crying out of happiness, at least not anymore. And his eyes darted down to the doorstep in front of him and he could feel a new surge of panic igniting in his stomach.
Two cases.
That was more baggage than just a flying visit. Why had she turned up with all her belongings? Why didn't she call him? What had happened that he didn't know about?
"(Y/n), what's wrong? Why all the bags?" Eddie's hand pressed firmer into the middle of (Y/n)'s back when she tightened her arms around his neck and refused to pull away or look up at him. He didn't like this. Eddie never liked it when any of his sisters were upset or panicked. With their dad working away so much, Eddie had been the man of the house and he had always been the one his sisters went to with a problem they needed him to sort out.
He protected all of them.
He kept his left arm bound tight around her waist and he reached his right hand out to grab her cases. He dragged one inside and did the same with her other bag before he shuffled back with (Y/n) still in his arm so he could shut the door.
(Y/n) stayed limp and easily moveable, letting Eddie guide her through into the living room instead of standing in the hallway. But she started to shake when he finally leaned back and gripped her chin. He tilted her head up so they were finally looking at each other and when his thumb swiped across her cheek to brush away a tear, (Y/n) felt a whimper bubbling past her lips.
"C-can I stay with you, just f-for a while. Please?" Her hands unhooked from Eddie's neck and she let him hold her elbows and guide her to sit down in the armchair.
Once she was sat down, Eddie perched on the coffee table in front of her and rested his elbows on his knees as he leaned forward and arched his back out. His hand dragged across his jaw and down his chin while he nodded and tried to keep a calm expression on his face. His eyes kept wandering across to the dining room. Whatever (Y/n) was going to tell him clearly wasn't something good or anything she wanted Chris to overhear.
Eddie got the feeling that (Y/n) didn't even want to tell him what was going on and that hurt. She never had a problem talking to him about anything, but there was something in her eyes that told him this was harder than ever.
"You know you can always stay with me and Chris, you don't have to ask. What's going on? You didn't call, I could have come and got you… has something happened?"
(Y/n) tangled her hands and clenched her fingers together as tight as she could until they started to ache and burn.
"You, um, you know I said I was seeing someone, while I was staying with Chrissy?"
It was no secret that a little while after Eddie left Texas, (Y/n) had moved away too. She had gone to stay with their sister Chrissy who lived closer to LA than she did to Texas. It had been good to get away from home and have a fresh start, and (Y/n) had met someone while she was there.
Her eyes danced down to stare at Eddie's knees but she saw the way they tensed and how his hands curled into fists between his thighs.
"Did he try to hurt you?"
Eddie was wary of anyone each of his sisters got involved with. He didn't hate them right away, but he was cautious. He didn't want anyone to walk right in and think they could hurt the most important people in Eddie's life who he had raised since childhood.
He wasn't too thrilled this time that he knew nothing about the guy (Y/n) had been seeing. He didn't even know his name. All he knew was that (Y/n) had met someone and seemed to be happy with him. No photos, no pictures, no family get togethers where he tagged along. The relationship seemed fairly new so Eddie hadn't asked many questions or probed too deeply into it.
Something told him that maybe he should have. Perhaps he should have asked (Y/n) a little more about this guy and tried to make more of an effort. But (Y/n) wasn't a teenager or a little girl anymore, Eddie had to step back at some point even if he didn't want to.
"Not exactly… Eddie he scares me." Tears flushed (Y/n)'s face and her hands began to tremble in her lap until Eddie leaned across to hold them.
"Why?" He didn't understand. What kind of sense was Eddie supposed to make out of that?
"He was so nice at first, but he, I don't know… he got controlling, I think he was tracking my phone. He knew every move I made, he kept asking me to move away with him. I tried to end it but he kept coming round and he followed me home from work a few times too."
(Y/n) almost felt stupid for the way she was acting.
He had been kind. He was sweet and caring and loving and everything she thought she wanted in a partner. But (Y/n) didn't want someone to be checking every move she made. She didn't want to feel boxed in and she certainly didn't want to move as quickly as he did. Less than two months with him and he wanted her to move in with him. He even talked about marriage when (Y/n) knew him less than a year.
She wasn't ready for that and saying no to him was like talking to a brick wall. Her words seemed to bounce back and hit her in the face and he just pretended like she hadn't spoken at all.
He would worm his way back to her, attach himself to her and kiss her and engulf her and overload her until she changed her mind because it was easier to give in than stand up to him.
"Where is he now? Has he threatened you… (Y/n) you know you can tell me, leaving home in the middle of the night isn't like you."
She felt stupid. She felt stupid for leaving so suddenly as if her ex had been physical with her. His threats weren't like normal, obsessive threats. He didn't say he would hurt her if she left or he would always find her or get her back. He kept saying fate would bring her back to him and she could try all she liked, but she wasn't going to get far.
He scared her rather than threatened her and with how calm and placid he was, it just made things even worse. Not once had her ex hit her or pushed her or gave her a mark on her body that wasn't a simple love bite. He never became physical and during arguments he rarely even raised his voice at her. But he scared the living daylights out of her.
"I told him it was over, but he just said he'd be back for me soon, I don't know what he meant by that. Eddie I need to get away from him, I… oh God, promise you won't be mad at me or freak out, please?" (Y/n) dragged her fingers through her hair as more tears started to cascade down her face.
She hadn't told anyone yet.
"Why would I freak out?"
Adrenaline bubbled to life in Eddie's stomach and shot up through his chest. What was she going to tell him that would freak him out?
He leaned back and straightened his shoulders while his hands moved to rub up and down his knees to stay calm and collected. His lips pressed into a thin line and his eyes stayed concentrated on his sister, waiting for her to tell him what the next problem was.
When her hands moved to her jumper, Eddie panicked. He thought she was about to lift up her shirt and show him black and blue bruises littering her skin. He thought he would see scars or broken ribs or dried blood or some sort of injury that told him he had to find this guy and beat him to a pulp. He feared what his sister had been through and what kind of torment someone had dared to put her through.
He wasn't expecting a baby bump.
(Y/n) bit down on her lower lip so harshly it began to bleed again and her fingers trembled as she pulled her jumper up near her bra. She hadn't told anyone she was pregnant. She couldn't tell Chrissy, she would go straight to their parents. (Y/n) couldn't tell their parents because they would be disappointed or try to get involved and tell her she needed to marry this guy. And she didn't want to marry him.
Eddie was the only one (Y/n) could trust who wouldn't freak out, get angry with her or try to tell her what to do. He married Shannon because she was pregnant, but that had been easier. Eddie had been in love with her, marriage was something he wanted. For (Y/n), marriage to someone this pent up and controlling wasn't what she wanted. No matter how desperate her ex was to have her back and marry her.
"How- how far along? Does he know?" Eddie rubbed his hand across his jaw and let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in.
He would expect this from Chrissy. He always expected her to be the one to get into a strange relationship and have a baby. He didn't think (Y/n) would be caught up in a situation like this and it hurt. Eddie should have kept up better contact with her, called and visited her more often and protected her from something like this.
"Nineteen weeks, I think. I can't tell him, Eddie he'll never let me go, ma will want me to marry him and I- I can't-"
"Hey, hey calm down." When Eddie cupped her face in his hands, a tidal wave of tears streamed down her face as she hiccupped and tried to breathe. "I won't let anything like that happen, I promise. Just tell me what you want to do and I'll help you."
"I wanna d-do this on my own, without him. Here in LA, a new start."
(Y/n) wanted her baby. She had nothing against abortions, but that wasn't what she wanted. She was pregnant and she was going to have this baby, despite what her parents were going to think or what her ex was going to try and do.
He didn't know and that was what she wanted. He had no idea about her family or where her big brother lived or what he did for a living. (Y/n) could find a job easy here in LA. She could find herself a place nearby and be around Eddie and their Tia and Abuela and she could be surrounded by family and make new friends up here.
She could raise this baby on her own with her family and that was what she wanted to do. She just needed a little help.
Eddie was always telling her how good it was here, how Chris loved it and they had new friends and a great work family. (Y/n) thought she could make a life for herself here with her brother and family. His work family could become her new family here, Eddie always said how they were looking out for him and Chris and helping them any way they could.
"You can stay here as long as you want, Chris might not let you leave. And I'll make sure that creep doesn't find you, I won't let him near you."
Reaching out, (Y/n) curled her hands around Eddie's wrist and brought his hand to her lap. She ran her thumb across the back of his hand and managed to smile a little. "Can I ask another favour?"
"Anything."
"Don't tell ma or papi, not yet. Once I'm settled and sorted, I'll explain… I just can't deal with that hassle right now."
(Y/n) knew what their parents would do and say. They would try and get (Y/n) to come home. They would fret and try to talk her out of this, tell her to go back home to them and start fresh there or find her ex and talk things through with him.
They wouldn't be pleased to know (Y/n) was going to try and raise a child on her own when her ex was out there somewhere, unaware what was happening and perfectly happy to raise a child with her.
But this was her choice. She had chosen to come down here and (Y/n) wanted to stay. She wasn't here for a vacation. This was a fresh start, a chance for (Y/n) to try and make a better life and be with her family. She wanted to make new memories and a new life for herself and be happy here with her family.
She kept her eyes focused on Eddie's hand, but her smile softened when she felt him lean forward. He cupped the back of her head as gently as possible and leaned over so he could kiss the top of her head.
"I'll explain everything to them when you're ready." He would rather be the one to talk to their parents. He could always talk them down and they wouldn't argue this as much if they knew Eddie was on (Y/n)'s side and doing everything he could to look after her. "Come on, let's go have something to eat."
***
"So, will you introduce me to everyone?"
When Chris squeezed her hand, (Y/n) felt her smile brighten and she leaned her head on top of his when he pressed his cheek against her arm. His free hand curled around her arm and clung to her tighter as if he thought she was about to disappear.
He had barely left her side since she turned up in LA last week. It was as if Chris didn't truly believe that (Y/n) was in town to stay, he thought at any given moment she was going to get up and leave.
Every morning so far, Chris had burst into the spare room to wake (Y/n) up, making sure she hadn't disappeared during the night. And when Eddie was at work, like today, (Y/n) went and collected Chris from school and looked after him. It gave Eddie and Carla a break and gave (Y/n) something to do until her new job got lined up.
Eddie had put in a good word for her at the call centre and her interview went extremely well. She was going to be on the 911 calls in a week or two.
"Yeah. Bobby lets me ride in the truck sometimes." Chris tugged on (Y/n)'s hand and guided her into the station. He pointed at the trucks and weaved between them with (Y/n) hurrying to keep up with his strides.
"That's the Captain, right?"
"Yep. Dad!" He swung their hands between them and looked around the station for Eddie. He smiled brightly when (Y/n) kissed the top of his head and moved her free hand to his shoulder, clinging to him as he took her towards the stairs.
"Buddy, what're you doing here?"
"It's uncle Buck! He's the best." Chris stuck his thumb in his mouth and grinned when he watched Evan jog down the stairs towards them with a wide grin and his arms stretched out.
(Y/n) couldn't breathe. All the air got caught up in her chest as a lump formed in her throat and her eyes welled up with tears. She could feel her heart pounding against her chest so harsh she thought her ribs were going to fracture. And when her pulse thudded in her ears, it was all she could hear and feel as her skin pulsed and throbbed.
Before she knew what was happening, all the blood drained down to her feet and her eyes rolled back in her head that felt like it was pumped full of helium.
"Eddie get down here!"
"Dad!" Chris let go of (Y/n)'s hand when her head flopped forward until her chin was tucked into her chest and she started to drop. He watched her knees cave in but his faltering smile paused when Evan rushed forward to grab her. He watched Evan hook his arms around (Y/n)'s waist and let her fall into his chest, saving her from a harsh fall to the floor like he was a knight in shining armour.
Evan darted his eyes around before he carefully stepped closer and went down on his knees, easing the girl in his arms down along with him. Once he was on the ground, Evan carefully turned her around so her back was slumped into his chest and he reached his hand down to cup her chin and tilt her head back on his shoulder.
"What's going on? Buck what happened?" Panic flooded Eddie's voice as he bolted down the stairs and jumped down the last three to rush across the station floor. He reached inside the back of the open ambulance and swiped a medic bag before he made a beeline for his family.
He watched Chris flop down on the floor, his thumb still hidden between his teeth out of anxious habit while his eyes focused on Evan and (Y/n).
Eddie knelt down beside them, briefly ruffling Chris's hair to try and calm him down before he looked down at his sister. She was laid motionless in Evan's arms, slumped down and breathing fast and shallow.
"She- she just fainted, is that normal? Is this your sister?" Evan curved his right arm around her chest and began smoothing his knuckles up and down her sternum to try and apply pressure and bring her back round.
"Yeah, yeah this is (Y/n)."
Eddie kissed Chris's cheek and patted his back before he nudged his son to gently ask him to shuffle back a few paces.
"(Y/n)? Are you back with me?" Shuffling around in the medic bag, Eddie found a blood pressure cuff and slid it up her right arm. He set her hand down on his thigh and brushed his thumb across the back of her hand for a few seconds.
Her head was starting to move from side to side on Evan's shoulder and her fingers started to twitch and clench.
Lifting his gaze, Eddie glanced across at Evan and when their eyes locked, Evan tried to smile politely as he reached down for (Y/n)'s shirt and gently pulled it back down over her stomach from where it had ridden up. Evan sat her forwards and let Eddie take over and have her lean up against him instead.
"Chris, why don't we go get (Y/n) a drink?" Evan waved his hand across at Chris and stood up, letting Chris take his hand and guide him towards the stairs. It would be best to give them both a moment to talk and let Eddie calm her down if she was going to panic. And after collapsing, she could probably use a drink to boost her back up.
"Alright, BP's a little high, nothing worrying." Eddie spoke to himself as he slipped off the cuff and found a heart rate monitor which he clipped onto her index finger. "Hey, there we go." He relaxed a little when (Y/n)'s eyes began to flutter and she tried to focus in on him.
Her hand bashed around shakily until she found Eddie's hand and she gripped as tightly as she could muster. Her head was starting to pulse and throb like she had been whacked and knocked out and her heart was going haywire in her chest.
"What happened?" Eddie watched her eyes dart around and for a second he thought she was looking for someone. But when her gaze settled back on him, she relaxed against him and seemed to melt.
"I- I just went dizzy, I'm okay." (Y/n) gave Eddie's hand a squeeze and tried to muster up a smile. She wasn't sure what came over her. She blacked out quicker than she ever had before, but she felt okay. She wasn't in any sort of danger or hurt in any way, and she had blacked out at the right place.
"Why don't we go sit down? You don't usually pass out very often." Eddie moved so he was crouching in front of her and held his hands out until (Y/n) gratefully took them.
She let him pull her up and leaned into his chest when Eddie curved one arm around her waist and kept his other hand tangled with hers for added support. (Y/n) tilted her head into his shoulder and followed his direction towards the locker room. He wasn't so sure (Y/n) would get up the stairs into the kitchen right now when she was shaking and had only just come back round.
Eddie would rather get (Y/n) sat down in the locker room and make sure she was back to feeling herself before risking moving anywhere else. He still didn't know why she had passed out. He didn't know whether (Y/n) hadn't eaten a lot today, whether she just felt unwell or if it was something to do with the baby. He wanted to keep an eye on her for the time being.
"Are you sure you feel okay?" Eddie moved his hand to her shoulder when she slumped down on the bench and braced her hands on her knees. The way she tilted her head back on his arm and smiled tiredly yet sweetly up at him calmed down one of his many nerves.
"Just lightheaded, I'm sorry."
"Don't be, just stay here a minute while I get Chris and find you a drink, okay?"
(Y/n) nodded and when she felt Eddie kiss her temple, she let her eyes fall closed and started to rake her hands up and down her legs to try and liven herself up a little. She would have to apologise to Chris, she had probably scared him.
Her hand moved to drag through her hair, brushing it back behind her ears and out of her eyes as she took deep, calming breaths.
"I hope you didn't collapse because of me."
Tremors rattled through (Y/n)'s bones until she was trembling back and forth on the bench. Her blood ran cold and disappeared down to her toes as her fingertips went numb and she could barely feel her nails piercing through her leggings into her thighs.
She didn't want to look. She didn't want to turn and look over her shoulder at the owner of that voice she knew she had heard before. But she didn't have to. He walked around until he was stood in front of her, arms casually folded over his chest and his shoulders pushed back into the lockers so he was slanted at an angle.
"Evan." His name fell from her lips in a whisper that he could barely hear, but it made his lips curl into the purest smile (Y/n) had ever seen. And it made her stomach churn.
"Nice to see you too, babe." His hands clenched over his biceps and his head tilted to the side as his eyes stayed focused on (Y/n). He could see she was barely able to catch a proper breath and her eyes were blown so wide there was no colour left in them, just black holes that went on for miles.
"Why… why're you here?"
"Me? I work here. Question is what're you doing here? Last time I checked, you didn't live in LA." Evan pushed off the lockers and took a step closer which caused (Y/n) to lean back and tilt her head up to stay focused on him.
He never told her he lived in LA either. She knew he wasn't from Chrissy's hometown. She knew he was only visiting while he was off sick from his job. But he never said he was a fireman. He told her he worked for the emergency services, but never which department and it never came up because he was recovering from multiple leg surgeries. He hadn't been at work.
Evan never told her where he worked, where he originally lived or the nickname everyone called him. If she'd of known, she wouldn't have come down to stay with Eddie.
If she knew her brother's best friend was the person she was trying to get away from, she would have risked going back home to Texas and faced their parents.
She had landed herself right in the middle of Hell by coming here.
"Did you… was… was this on purpose? Did you always know, about Eddie?" Tears pooled in (Y/n)'s eyes but she couldn't find it in herself to begin crying. She had cried so much about Evan and this whole situation. Crying in front of him didn't feel right and she didn't have the willpower to do it.
She just wanted to go home.
Had he always known? Had he known from the moment he met her that she was Eddie's little sister? Is that why he was so keen on staying in a relationship with her and making this obsession work?
"Finding out I'd fallen for Eddie's little sister was a bonus." He scratched his hand across his jaw and took another three steps forward until he was stood between (Y/n)'s legs. Towering over her like a skyscraper. "This is fate, baby girl."
He hadn't planned anything. He fell for her and once he found out her last name, everything clicked and it made things even better. He had fallen for his best friend's younger sister. And Evan wasn't letting her disappear from him again. She wasn't leaving him when they had a connection, when they had something special that Evan wasn't giving up on.
He knew what they had was what he wanted. Why could everyone else find love and relationships and stick together and start families, but not Evan? Why wouldn't it work for him?
Well, not this time.
This time, Evan was taking control. He had something with (Y/n) and he wasn't letting it go because she was scared to be with him and face that this was special. Evan believed in fate, and he believed that this was a sign. This is what he'd been praying for, and he wasn't letting it go so easily.
(Y/n) could feel the panic dwelling up in her chest and taking over her body when Evan leaned forward. She wasn't sure where his hands were going, but while one hand moved to rest beside her hip on the bench, a chill tore through her when his other hand curved over her stomach.
He knew. He knew what she had tried to hide from him. He knew why she had come down to LA in the vain hope that if he went back to Chrissy's, he wouldn't find (Y/n) there and wouldn't find out she was pregnant.
His thumb glided across her stomach and when he looked down, his smile would of made (Y/n) melt if this situation were any different.
"And now I know you're pregnant, and I can see from that look on your face that it's mine."
(Y/n) wanted to cry when Evan leaned down and kissed her. She wanted to cry for every emotion he's made her feel and every way he'd screwed with her thoughts and emotions and controlled everything she tried to do. She wanted to cry for the baby she had tried to protect and keep safe from him.
But (Y/n) never truly believed she would keep this from him. She had a gut feeling that Evan would find out sooner or later, some way or another. She knew he would find out she was having his baby. And once he knew, he wasn't going to let her go.
And she couldn't stop the way she curled her hand around his wrist when he swiped his tongue across her lips and into her mouth and he bit her lip, devouring every breath she tried to take.
"Don't think for one second that I'm gonna let you keep them from me. This is our baby, you're not doing this without me."
Drow noble who's grappiling with the knowledge that she's falling for a very much not-drow person. Good lord it's a man, too. The whole surface men thing is really fucking with her. Thank you!
yes omfg i love writing drow reader aha
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Gale:
As a noble drow, sworn to the spider queen, your world had always been one of rigid power structures, ambition, and ruthless cunning. Emotions—particularly love—were seen as weaknesses, and the idea of falling for anyone, let alone a surface dweller, was unthinkable.
Worse still, Gale of Waterdeep, the very man you found your thoughts continually drifting towards, was the antithesis of everything you had been raised to value.
He was human. A surface dweller. And a man.
You grappled with this knowledge constantly, the war between your upbringing and the unsettling warmth that had begun to take root in your heart. Drow society would scoff at such weakness. Lolth herself would probably strike you down for even entertaining such an idea. Gale was kind, intelligent, and often annoyingly optimistic—traits that would be ridiculed among your people. And yet… despite everything, you couldn’t stop thinking about him.
It was madness. He was nothing like the cruel, power-hungry individuals you had grown up around. Surface men were meant to be tools, meant to be used and discarded, certainly not respected. And yet, here you were, losing yourself to the idea of him.
Your thoughts churned as you sat quietly on a rock overlooking your camp. The surface was unsettling in its own way—the endless sky, the open space. It made you feel exposed, vulnerable, and yet, it was also freeing in ways you had never anticipated. Still, this love—or whatever it was—felt too dangerous, too uncontrollable.
You let out a long breath, trying to reason with yourself, when movement in the distance caught your eye. Gale was walking across the camp with his usual absentminded grace, his nose buried in a scroll as he meandered through the grass. You couldn’t help the way your gaze lingered on him—his messy brown hair catching the sunlight, his deep focus on whatever arcane theory had captured his mind this time. There was something calming about his presence, even if he was completely oblivious to the world around him.
Just as the thought crossed your mind, Gale tripped. His foot caught on a protruding tree root, and in the blink of an eye, he was sprawling forward, landing face-first in a particularly muddy patch of earth with a muffled thud.
You sighed audibly, feeling a mix of frustration and exasperation bubbling up inside you. Of course, this was the man who had somehow found his way into your heart—this clumsy, absentminded wizard who seemed more likely to trip over his own robes than navigate the world with any semblance of grace.
You could almost hear the cruel laughter of the other drow nobles if they ever saw this, and yet… despite it all, despite his ridiculousness, you felt something warm unfurling inside you.
Without even realizing it, a small smile tugged at the corner of your lips as you watched him push himself up from the mud, wiping dirt from his face with a bewildered look. He glanced around sheepishly, trying to see if anyone had noticed his less-than-dignified fall. His eyes found yours across the distance, and he gave a half-embarrassed, half-amused shrug as if to say, "Well, that happened."
You shook your head slightly, muttering under your breath, “Idiot.”
But even as the word left your lips, there was no bite to it, no disdain. No, that was your idiot over there, bumbling through life with his mismatched socks and his endless passion for the mysteries of the Weave. As much as you wanted to deny it, to cling to the harsh, unforgiving rules of your upbringing, you knew the truth now. You were falling for him—maybe you had already fallen.
It was absurd. He was absurd. And yet, despite everything, you couldn't help but love him.
You rose to your feet, dusting off your armor as you made your way toward him. His eyes lit up with that familiar sparkle of affection and curiosity as you approached, but you could still see the streak of mud across his face, and it only deepened the exasperation you felt for him.
“You couldn’t watch where you were going?” you asked, your tone dry but laced with affection.
Gale chuckled softly, sheepishly brushing more dirt from his robes. “Ah, well, you know me. Too many thoughts in my head, not enough attention to the ground beneath my feet.”
You narrowed your eyes at him but couldn’t stop the small smile that played on your lips. “You’re hopeless.”
He gave a charming grin, wiping the last of the mud from his face. “Perhaps. But I’m your hopeless mess.”
There it was again—that warmth, spreading through your chest and settling deep inside you. The part of you that had been molded by Lolth’s cruel teachings wanted to scoff, to walk away, but the larger part of you—the part that had grown stronger since you left the Underdark—wanted to stay. Wanted to be with him.
You sighed again, shaking your head. “Yes, you are.”
Astarion:
The undercurrents of tension in the camp were subtle but undeniable, a silent hum that hung between you and Minthara. The evening had crept in, the flickering of the campfire casting long shadows on the ground as you sat across from her, the crackling flames making her eyes gleam with a mischievous edge. You’d been grappling with a strange sensation lately—one that didn’t sit well with you. It was as foreign as it was unnerving, this pull toward Astarion. A weakness, you told yourself. A distraction.
And yet, there it was.
Minthara’s lips curled into a knowing smirk as she watched you, her sharp eyes never missing a thing. The tension between the two of you had thickened ever since you’d let it slip, in some small, unguarded moment, that Astarion had started to mean something to you. She had, of course, latched onto it immediately.
"That pale elf of yours," she drawled lazily, leaning back on her elbows as her smirk widened. "He’d make a fine concubine, wouldn’t you say?"
You stiffened, your hands tightening around the ornate handle of the goblet you held. She said it so easily, as if Astarion’s value was something she could weigh and measure, as if he was a trinket, an adornment. You should have agreed with her. The logical, Lolth-sworn part of you should have seen it the same way—a useful tool, a possession to command.
But that thought twisted in your gut, and before you could stop yourself, a fierce protectiveness surged through you.
"Don’t," you snapped, your voice low and cutting, sharper than you intended. You felt your eyes narrow as you glared at Minthara. "He’s not a toy for you to play with, Minthara."
Minthara’s reaction was instant—an arched eyebrow and a slow, creeping smile that made your skin prickle. She was enjoying this far too much.
"Oh, have I touched a nerve?" she teased, her voice a velvet purr. "Could it be that our cold-hearted noblewoman has fallen for her vampiric elf?"
Her words twisted inside you, and you hated how easily she could see through your carefully crafted walls. This was a weakness, wasn’t it? Astarion was a tool, an asset. But the thought of reducing him to something so simple made you feel… wrong. And now, here was Minthara, teasing you with the very thing you couldn’t admit to yourself.
Before you could muster a response, you heard soft footsteps behind you. Astarion sauntered over with his usual grace, his movements smooth and calculated, his smirk as ever-present as the shadows that clung to him. He stopped beside you, a curious look flickering in his eyes as he glanced between you and Minthara. He could sense the tension—he always could.
"Well, well, what have I stumbled into this time?" Astarion drawled, his voice lilting with amusement as he folded his arms across his chest. "I do hope I’m not interrupting anything too… serious."
Minthara’s eyes gleamed with wicked amusement as she looked at you, silently daring you to act. Here was your chance—your chance to prove you hadn’t fallen for him. To show that you were still in control, that Astarion was nothing more than a useful asset, a distraction to be managed, not embraced.
But you didn’t rise to the bait.
Instead, without thinking, you reached for Astarion and pulled him close, wrapping your arms around him in a possessive, protective embrace. The gesture startled him, and for a brief moment, you could feel the tension in his body as if he wasn’t sure how to respond. But then his arms slipped around your waist, holding you with a surprising tenderness, his face nuzzling into the crook of your neck.
Minthara’s smile grew wider, her amusement clear as day.
"Ah, I see," she said softly, her voice dripping with satisfaction. "You have fallen for him. How adorable."
You felt a heat rise in your chest, a flush of both anger and embarrassment. Your grip on Astarion tightened, and you pointed a sharp finger at Minthara, your voice firm as you growled, "Go away, Minthara."
She chuckled softly, clearly pleased with herself.
"As you wish," she purred, rising to her feet with all the grace and confidence of a predator who knew exactly when to let her prey simmer.
She sauntered off into the shadows, leaving you and Astarion standing by the fire. The air between you felt heavy, your heart pounding in your chest as you clung to him, still not entirely sure what had possessed you to act so… openly. So vulnerably.
Astarion, for his part, seemed to enjoy it. His lips brushed your ear as he whispered, "You do realize how fascinating you are when you’re all… possessive like that. Quite unexpected from someone of your upbringing." He pulled back slightly, his crimson eyes locking onto yours, a sly grin playing on his lips. "Dare I say, it’s rather endearing."
You scowled, pushing him away gently, trying to regain some semblance of your usual composure.
"Don’t get used to it," you muttered, but the heat in your face betrayed you.
Astarion chuckled, his voice low and warm. "Oh, darling, I’ll cherish every moment of it."
Wyll:
The midday sun cast long shadows across the camp, where the sounds of practice swords clashing and the grunts of exertion filled the air. Your sharp, calculating gaze swept over the scene as you leaned against a tree, arms crossed in feigned disinterest. Wyll, the Blade of Frontiers, was at the center of it all, effortlessly guiding a group of refugees through rudimentary combat drills. His movements were precise, his words gentle yet firm as he corrected their stances and offered encouragement. It was a sight you should have found ridiculous, even pathetic. Yet you found yourself watching him—again.
The warmth of the sun felt like a strange, foreign thing on your skin, much like the warmth blooming inside you as you watched Wyll in action. He was so good—too good. Too moral. Too heroic. Everything you had been taught to despise in someone. Everything Lolth had warned you against. He was the antithesis of what a Lolth-sworn drow noble should admire.
And yet, here you were, your gaze lingering on the strong lines of his frame as he moved with that effortless grace that came from years of discipline. Wyll was just so… frustratingly kind. A champion of the downtrodden, always putting others before himself, always ready to leap into action to save those in need.
It was foolish. Self-sacrificing. Weak.
But that didn’t stop the traitorous flutter in your chest whenever he smiled, that disarming, earnest smile that made you feel things you shouldn’t—things that no drow noble should ever entertain. Lolth would never forgive you if she knew how easily you were falling for someone like him. A surface-dweller, no less. A folk-hero.
It was unthinkable.
Your grip tightened on your arms as you fought the feelings stirring within you. Weakness, you told yourself. This was nothing more than a fleeting distraction. Something to be controlled, suppressed, forgotten.
And then, as if sensing your gaze, Wyll turned his head toward you, catching your eye from across the camp. For a split second, your heart leapt into your throat, panic rising as you realized you’d been caught staring. His eyes lit up with that familiar warmth, and before you could even think to look away, Wyll smiled—one of those charming, roguish smiles that made your chest ache.
To your horror, he blew a playful kiss in your direction.
Your heart stuttered, your breath hitching in your throat as you felt a rush of warmth flood your face. It was a simple gesture, innocent even, but the effect it had on you was devastating. Your mind raced, torn between the instinct to glare at him, to scold him for being so foolish, so open—and the overwhelming urge to smile back, to let your guard down, to surrender to the inexplicable joy his presence brought you.
Lolth forgive you.
You bit down hard on your lower lip, forcing yourself to turn away, to tear your gaze from Wyll’s infuriatingly charming face. Your heart was pounding now, your mind racing with thoughts that should have been buried.
How could this happen? How could you be so enchanted by someone like him? He was everything you should despise, yet here you were, betraying everything you’d been raised to believe.
Wyll had gone back to his training, unaware of the storm he had ignited inside you. You pressed your hand to your chest, feeling the rapid beat of your heart beneath your palm. The emotions you were grappling with—this strange, all-consuming pull toward him—were getting harder and harder to ignore.
You were a drow. You were supposed to be strong, calculating, superior. Love—true love—was a weakness, a vulnerability that Lolth herself had warned you against. And yet… Wyll’s goodness, his decency, was like a light in the darkness you had grown so accustomed to. He made you feel like you could be something more, something beyond the cold, ruthless confines of drow society.
And that scared you.
As you stood there, lost in your thoughts, you realized with a sinking feeling that you were already in too deep. You could no longer deny the truth, no matter how hard you tried. You were falling for Wyll, and there was nothing you could do to stop it.
The question was: What would you do about it?
Would you embrace this unfamiliar, terrifying feeling? Or would you push him away, burying these emotions beneath the weight of duty and tradition, as you had been taught?
For now, you stayed rooted to the spot, watching him from a distance, unable to look away for long. You’d never admit it out loud, but in that moment, you knew.
Wyll wasn’t just a distraction.
He was your undoing.
And perhaps, just perhaps, that wasn’t such a terrible thing.
Halsin:
The campfire crackled softly in the evening air, casting shadows across the clearing. The night had grown quiet, the refugees settled into their makeshift shelters, and the others in your party tending to their own business. But you—your mind was in turmoil.
You sat alone at the edge of the camp, your arms wrapped tightly around yourself, as if trying to ward off the whirlwind of emotions surging inside. You were a drow, a noble Lolth-sworn drow at that. You were raised in the darkness, taught to be ruthless, cunning, and strong. Yet here you were, grappling with something you had never expected, never wanted, and certainly never prepared for.
Halsin.
The very thought of his name sent a wave of frustration through you. He was everything you should despise—everything your kind was raised to reject. A creature of the earth, a druid who worshipped balance and life, someone who saw beauty in the natural world where you saw only the chaos of survival. He was gentle and kind, especially to the refugees you had originally deemed insignificant. His heart was far too soft for a world like this. And yet, it was that heart that had somehow wormed its way into your own.
You caught sight of him in the distance, helping a family reinforce their shelter. His tall, broad form moved with ease as he offered his strength to those in need, his calm voice carrying through the camp. You hated that your eyes lingered on him. You hated that the sight of him stirred something deep within you, something that made your pulse quicken and your thoughts spiral.
He caught your gaze, and your heart leapt in your chest. Halsin's warm, golden-brown eyes softened as he straightened and made his way toward you, his approach unhurried, but purposeful. You cursed yourself for not looking away, for letting him see the conflict etched into your features.
“Something troubles you,” he said gently as he reached you, his voice like the steady rhythm of the forest itself. He crouched beside you, his presence grounding and yet somehow deeply unsettling.
Of course he cares about you. That only made it worse.
You clenched your jaw, fighting to hold back the chaos swirling inside you. How could someone like him—so pure of heart, so rooted in kindness—make you feel this way? It was wrong. Everything about this was wrong.
“I hate you,” you whispered, your voice trembling with emotion, though the words were filled with no venom. They sounded hollow, even to you.
Halsin’s brow furrowed slightly, but instead of pulling back, he reached out, his large, calloused hand resting gently on your arm. His touch was warm, comforting in a way that only fueled your frustration.
“What have I done to earn such hatred?” he asked softly, his voice devoid of judgment, only concern. He was patient, as always, willing to wait for your response, willing to listen.
And that—that was the problem.
You felt your composure crumbling. Every wall you had carefully constructed, every defense you had built was breaking apart under his gaze. The dam burst, and you couldn’t hold it in any longer.
“You—” your voice cracked as you banged your head softly against his chest, fists clenched, anger mixing with something far more vulnerable. “You ruin everything.” You pressed your head harder against his chest, as if somehow his strength could erase the turmoil within you. “Damn you, Halsin.”
Without hesitation, Halsin wrapped his strong arms around you, pulling you into his embrace. His touch was tender, gentle, and it broke you in ways you hadn’t expected. You stood there, your fists weakly hitting his broad chest before they fell limp at your sides, tears stinging your eyes. You couldn’t even summon the strength to push him away.
“Damn you,” you whispered again, your voice muffled against him, but it held no true malice. It was a desperate, anguished confession. You hated him for making you feel like this—for making you care.
Halsin’s arms tightened slightly around you, his breath warm against your hair as he held you. He didn’t say anything for a long moment, simply allowing you to lean into him, to release the storm that had been brewing inside you for so long. His presence was unshakable, a solid force of calm in the midst of your chaos.
“Whatever it is that troubles you,” he said softly, his voice low and soothing, “you don’t have to face it alone. I am here. Always.”
His words cut through you like a blade. How could he be so good? So kind? It made no sense, and yet you couldn’t stop the flood of emotions that surged in response. You felt vulnerable, exposed in a way that terrified you, but you couldn’t deny it any longer. This man—this druid who was so unlike anything you had ever known—had become someone you couldn’t bear to lose.
You pulled back slightly, just enough to look up at him, your eyes brimming with unshed tears.
“You don’t understand,” you whispered, voice trembling. “You don’t know what this means. I shouldn’t feel this way… not for you.”
Halsin looked down at you with that steady, unwavering gaze of his, his hand gently cupping your cheek.
"Perhaps not by the standards of others,” he said softly. “But the heart… the heart does not always follow such rules.”
You swallowed hard, your chest tightening at his words. The world you had known—the one ruled by darkness, deception, and power—was crumbling away, and in its place was something you had never expected: love. It terrified you, and yet, with Halsin standing there, holding you so gently, you realized that perhaps… just perhaps, it wasn’t so terrible after all.
And in that moment, as his warmth surrounded you, you allowed yourself to let go, if only for a little while.
“Damn you,” you whispered once more, but this time, the words were softer, filled with something closer to acceptance than anger.
Halsin smiled, his thumb brushing away a stray tear from your cheek. “Damn me, then,” he murmured. “If that is what it takes.”
And for the first time in what felt like an eternity, you didn’t fight it. You allowed yourself to rest against him, to feel the peace that his presence brought. Because, in the end, no matter how much you tried to deny it, you knew the truth: you were falling for him.
And there was no turning back.
can you write one when its like, reader x plug!connie where they like toxic off and on, but he still spoils her and all that because they in love fr. he's like a real jealous type and is lowkey overprotective. but they always together and spend alot of time with eachother
No matter what you were always gonna be Connie’s.
No matter how many times you guys “broke up” you still belonged to him and everyone knew.
It was hard to strive as a now “single” woman. All of your old hoes were wiped off the face of the earth somehow (thanks to Connie). Any new guy that has the potential of being just a one night stand was scared away by a pair of emotionless eyes that stared you down from across the club.
Every night out with your girlfriends was ruined, any attempt to hook up with someone. ruined
Connie was everywhere you were. You blocked him on every social media, but he still created more accounts just watching your page. He also had eyes on you everywhere. You’d often see some of his most trusted guys at the mall, updating him on your safety.
His friends are so faithful to him it’s frustrating. Your bestfriends were his bestfriends, due to the fact that you were always around you all just became so close!
But when you have a girls night out with Mikasa and Sasha they are always cockblocking for connie.
“That guy was a dick Y/N”
“I dunno maybe you should just get back with Con”
Everyone around you did nothing but encourage you to get back with him, even your parents!
They love having him around and he’s excellent help in the kitchen!
Connie is fairly toxic but you won’t really notice until you think about it.
He’s got himself so involved in your life and everything you do, people can’t help but ask about him! And that was what he intended to do.
There was no possible way you could forget him, he was everywhere. You broke up with Connie but Connie didn’t break up with you.
You lasted 35 days and 45 minutes before getting back with Connie. Ever since you “broke up” with Connie, you’ve been focusing on a clothing line you’ve been wanting to release. You gave up on trying to go out and find simple one night stands. You were fairly sex deprived but didn’t give in. Nothing a vibrator couldn’t fix.
You were over men and their stupid ass inconsiderate ass feelings. Connie didn’t stop taking care of you though. You’d get random paypals and cash apps from Armin or Eren. $850 - FOR from Connie :)
You still were extremely grateful though. This particular night you decided to go to a party Ony was throwing. You were going out for yourself tonight, plus you haven’t popped out in a while gotta keep these bitches hatin
You walked through the entrance of the house, “Way 2 Sexy” blasting through the speakers.
“Heyy sexyy” Sasha drags out as she wraps her arm around you, holding a cup in her hand. You hug her back with a smile on your face, ready to get wasted.
After many mixed drinks and a blunts worth inside of you. You stumbled to a bathroom, closing the door behind you.
You lip synced to the song that was playing from downstairs, checking yourself out in the mirror. Your eyes were red and low, all your movements sloppy.
As you re-applied your lip gloss, a deep voice spoke out to you.
“You’re avoiding me” You jumped at the sudden voice, thinking you were in the bathroom alone. You looked back in the corner of the bathroom, seeing Connie lean on the wall. He looked good as always.
“Connie just go” You mumbled in irritation, not wanting to give into the man in your drunken state.
“What did I tell you about watching your surroundings mama, hmm?” Connie stepped closer to you, “Didn’t even notice me following you. How are you supposed to stay safe princess” Connie fake pouted at you, looking down at you with pity. You could reject him all you want but your face told it all, you missed him so much.
“Sshut upp” You slurred, attempting to walk around him and out of the door.
“Talk to me” Connie’s hand gripped your waist, pulling you back in-front of him. “There’s nothing to talk about, we areee overrrr” Your own eyes filled with tears.
“Don’t cry mami,” Connie cupped your chin, making you look up at him, “Just take me back. I promise I won’t fuck up anymore. I swear i’m going crazy without you, I can’t stop thinking about you. Just please come back home with me” Connie rushed out, the tattooed drug dealer fought the urge to cry. You’ve been ignoring him like crazy. A part of him felt like you were really done with him and he couldn’t let that happen.
“Okay Connie, I will” You nodded, letting your emotional state take over. Your arms wrapped around Connie, just wanting to feel him. “I’m gonna go home with you”
The next day you were sitting on Connie’s lap at Eren’s house. You sat pressing sticky kisses up and down Connie’s neck while he counted a few bands, a joint resting in his mouth.
Eren rolled his eyes as he walked pass you two on the couch. As annoying as it was, everything felt back normal again. You were right where you were supposed to be, with connie <3
Constant Arguments
I know there is a lot of angst like this going on but for some odd reason it just feels right to make. I feel as if 42 Miles won't be as affectionate then others make him appear to be. NO HATE ON THEM. I love reading them.
I feel like he'll still have a somewhat cold demeanor. I haven't seen many where Y/N doesn't really care that Miles is The Prowler. Just needing him by her side more than anything was a blessing in her honor.
Earth 42 Miles Morales x FEM!Reader
Context: Angst, fluff, sadness, Mild cussing, happy ending
Translations: 'blame google if they aren't correct' 💀
"¿Por qué no puedes decírmelo? = "Why can't you tell me?"
Necesitamos hablar mami. = We need to talk mommy.
"Quítate de mi camino Miles." = Get out of my way Miles.
summary: Y/N doesn't give a shit if Miles is The Prowler.
"¿Por qué no puedes decírmelo? You avoid my calls, my texts, everytime I try to talk to you! You act like I'm not even 'ere!" It felt like a train hit her when Miles didn't respond, Breaking the eye contact they held for so long. Y/N just rolled her eyes, fed up with a relationship that clearly wasn't working.
"When you wanna talk, hit me up Hombre, other than that you can leave." Y/N shook her head, grabbing her book bag off the floor and walking towards their shared room.
She was acting like this because he wanted to disappear for more than a whole ass week. Ignoring her, leaving his own girlfriend on read when she was worried sick for him. Only think he had to say was "he was busy." Apparently it was more important than she'll ever be.
Slamming the door once she got inside just to feel tears swell in her eyes. Everything was frustrating her, constant arguments, school. The girl was overstimulated to say the least. Her back pushed up against the wall as she attempts to calm herself down with shallow deep breaths.
It felt like everything she worked for was against her. The man she loves not giving her the care she needs to pull through with all of this shit. Her family pressuring her to do a good job in school.
She just wanted to settle down on a peaceful path, but that seemed to redeem to much in her life. Having to work two jobs day and night was a struggle and Miles knew that. Yet he still did what he said he wasn't going to do.
Leaving her when she was the most vulnerable. She felt as if she wasn't valuable in his life at all. Wanting to cut off the one thing that used to make her life better.
But oh how she loves Miles. At the same time she wanted to apologize, pull him in a strong embrace. But she knew in the end he'd do the same thing. Disappear on her for decades on end.
The last string she held onto snapping just from his cold words. The silence was preposterous yet it kept her in a safe haven, able to run away from her problems just like now.
Taking a few more deep breaths and finally getting up off the dirty floor. She needed something to occupy her mind with, scrolling through her phone just to look at good memories.
She needed to wind down, Wanting to just drop out of school and cut off anyone she thought she knew well. She needed to breathe in this already suffocating air. The man on the other side probably long gone and out the door.
She was right, his figure not on the couch any longer than it should be. She wiped her face before stepping out. Going into the kitchen and grabbing a tub of ice cream before heading back into her confined space.
"Princesa." She cursed under her breath. Hearing his soft genuine sweet voice call her by her nickname. The real question was why was he still here. Turning around to be met with dead eyes. It was funny. They'd been together for a year, yet he looks at her the same way he looked at others.
She simply ignored him. Grabbing a spoon from a drawer and trying to push past the firm man.
"quítate de mi camino Miles." He didn't budge, doing the complete opposite infact. Blocking the exit with his body, She threatened to climb over the table if he didn't.
"Necesitamos hablar mami." He simply just tilted his head, A serious look plastered on his face.
"Oh now you wanna talk, ain't your job more important than me?" She got him right there. Miles eyes avoiding her's before looking back up, his chest withhelding big sigh. He wasn't gonna lie because he knew it was. She wasn't in his shoes. She wasn't constantly having to kill people for money.
No. He wanted her to sit still and be the most cherishing thing he had left besides his madre and his uncle. He was in a stressful predicament. How the hell was he supposed to tell his future wife that he was 'The Prowler'?
Miles was stomped, Looking the love of his life in her eyes before wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close. The look of confusion on her face as he told her.
Miles watched as she rubbed her temples, her eyes narrowing down to nothing but disappointment. It all made sense now. Why she'd wake up to an empty bed in the middle of the night. The window sometimes left open on countless nights.
He'd even shown her the exact suit he'd killed in, leading her to a small hidden room she didn't even know they had in the first place. She poked her head in which Miles found a bit cute, Taking it out and putting it on like it was nothing but clothing.
You let out a deep sigh before saying what was on your own mind.
"Miles I don't give a shit that you're The Prowler. I just wanted you to tell me." A sigh of relief left Mile's throat. Apologizing to his chica before pulling her into a tight hug and kissing her soft plump lips.
"I'm sorry for not tellin' you sooner Hermosa."
𓍼 au — boyfriend ! sae x gn ! reader
𓍼 fic type — end of the world, angst, a bit of fluff,
𓍼 warning — crying, a few kisses, implied death
𓍼 image count — 562
𓍼 rav's notes — honestly writing this kinda made me tear up
The clock counted down faster than it ever had. The minutes slipped between your fingers faster than water. You waited with a look of acceptance on your face, phone clenched tightly in your shaking fist. The tears that had rolled down your cheeks while you were talking to your family had become dry.
Sae walked out from your shared bedroom and sat next to you on the couch. A deadly silence spread between you both.
Uncharacteristically, Sae was the first to speak, “Y/n.” It was a hushed whisper of your name, making it almost seem like if he spoke any louder the world would end sooner.
You looked over at your lover and your eyes welled up all over again. With shaking hands you reached out and touched his face, making sure he was still there with you.
“Sae,” you say with quivering lips.
He leans into your touch and for a moment everything seems alright again.
Then all of a sudden, everything hits you at once again. In just a few moments nothing would exist. You and Sae would not be here.
No one would be.
“I love you Sae,” you say, before pressing a light kiss on the tip of his nose like you always did before a big event.
He sucks in a sharp breath. “I love you too,” he says, returning the kiss with one of his own.
Sae looks into your eyes before reaching for something in his pocket. He slides out a velvet box and you look at him wide-eyed. “What is that?” you question.
Instead of answering he moves off the couch before getting down on his left knee and the tears finally slip. “I was supposed to do this later this year,” he confesses.
“Will you marry me, Y/n?” he asks, opening the lid on the box. Inside sparkles the most beautiful ring you’ve seen.
You throw yourself into his arms repeating “yes yes yes yes yes” a million times over and Sae feels his heart swell with too many emotions. He holds you tight by the waist and finally lets his own tears soak your shirt.
When the two of you finally pull back he slips the ring onto your finger and it sits there snug and perfectly.
A sad, yet joyful smile makes its way onto your face as you imagine how different your life could've been. Moving your eyes away from the new possession, you look at your fiancé and say something so ridiculous. “Promise me that we’ll find each other somehow, somewhere if we can.”
“I promise,” he agrees, before closing the gap between you two.
The kiss is soft: full of unspoken things, a bit salty, yet to you it’s as perfect as it could be. The two of you pull back for a moment to catch your breath and take the time to imprint the other’s face in your mind.
You truly believed that if soulmates existed, Sae Itoshi was yours. And he knew you were his.
Wiping your tears, you lean in for the last time as Sae embraces you. Your lips locked together as the moon draws closer and closer to the Earth.
It was the end of the world, but it would never be the end of your love. That thought comforted you as you closed your eyes, imagining that everything was alright.
Peter couldn’t feel his legs.
He’d had the worst week of his life and right now he just needed you to hug him.
He ran past your neighbor’s house, racing up the stairs to yours, not noticing the look that she was giving him.
He rang the doorbell, waiting to see your smile, and feel your arms around him. To finally have someone by his side who knew everything.
But you didn’t open the door.
“Peter?” It was your brother. And unlike his usual grinning, goofy self, he was red eyed and seemingly angry. His girlfriend walked up behind him, placing a hand on his shoulder.
You’d hated almost everyone that James had dated, except Evie. But it’d been so long since he’d spoken to you, he wasn’t sure if that was still the case. “Where’s Y/N? I need to see her,” Peter huffed, peering inside the house over James’s shoulder.
“Oh,” James scoffed, “What? Your girl’s dead so now you worry about my baby sister?”
“James,” Evie warned.
Peter felt his heart drop at the mention of Gwen, before it was replaced by rage. “How dare you!” he yelled, moving to step towards James, but was instead pushed back by the older boy.
“If you really wanna see her, go to the same place you see your girl nowadays,” and with that Peter was staring at the shut door.
To say Peter was confused was an understatement. Your brother had never been that rude to him.
But what confused him more was that last sentence. He didn’t see Gwen anywhere nowadays. How could he? She was dead.
He turned around slowly, walking away as what James had just said swirled around his mind. It didn’t make sense. Were you at the graveyard to see Gwen too? But you weren’t that close to her. And anyways, the rest of what your brother had said didn’t add up.
Lost in his thoughts, he crossed the places that had defined both of your childhoods. The park where you’d met in 6th grade, Mrs. Parkinson’s house that you’d both toilet-papered in 8th grade, and last but not least, the local library.
You and Peter had spent so many days there after school puring over all sorts of books.
God, he missed those days.
He missed you.
He knew he hadn’t been the best, best friend lately but with everything going with Gwen, and the additional casualties of everything that was happening, he’d just been too busy.
It felt like you’d been absent from his life for ages.
In fact it was almost like you were gone. Wiped off of the face of the earth.
And then it hit him.
And he ran.
It couldn’t be.
There multiple casualties after the whole thing with Electro, but not for a second had he thought-
He stood outside the graveyard, chest heaving, and anxiety building up inside of him.
He ran around, checking each and every gravestone in a frenzy, repeating the same word over and over again in a desperate attempt to pray for his intuition to be wrong.
Please.
And then he saw it.
In loving memory of Y/N Y/L/N.
Marked with the same day as Gwen’s stone.
“No no no no no, please.”
Peter’s legs gave out from beneath him and he crashed down, kneeling in front of your gravestone.
A sudden gust of wind made him aware of the cold tears on his face, streaming down faster than the pace at which he’d ran here.
He ran a shaky hand over your name engraved in stone, as if somehow that would make it easier to process.
It couldn’t be.
He’d seen you just before the fight. That was just a few days ago. You couldn’t have died. Not after he explicitly told you to go home. That couldn’t have been the last time he saw you for good.
He felt like his heart was actually breaking. He clutched your gravestone harder, tears soaking the rock. He prayed that this was a prank. That you would jump out from behind it. But the longer he stayed there, the more it sank. You were gone and you weren’t coming back.He’d lost you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Among the chaos of everything around him Peter heard your voice from an alleyway, and immediately ran to you, worried that you were here. “Pete!” you yelled, flinging your hands around him. “Someone might hear you,” he yelled, wrapping his arms around you nonetheless. “I don’t think anyone is paying attention right now,” you laughed, pulling away.
He could see the worry in your eyes, as usual, in spite of the smile on your face.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, changing the topic to the most important one right then. “I wanted to tell you to be careful. Do you need help with something?” you asked.
He admired your bravery, and how you always wanted to help, despite not having any powers.
“I’m good. You need to get home,” he ushered, glancing behind him as we watched the chaos increase.
“Okay.” You replied, nodding. You never put up a fight when Peter told you to go home though. You trusted that he knew these things better, and could tell if a situation was bad.
“Hey,” you whispered, pulling him down so your foreheads touched, “you still owe me a pizza, so get back to me okay?” Peter always felt safe when he was like this with you. No matter what happened, as long as he was with you, he would be okay.
He laughed softly, “ ‘Course I will. Don’t worry too much,” he replied. You nodded once more before pulling away.
“Now go save the day Spidey,” you grinned.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Peter found himself leaning his forehead against your gravestone now, hoping that he’d feel that familiar safety again. Even if just for a moment.
Fallen Angel | Scorched Earth
"If you are asking me to choose, my answer is no." The words burn as they pass from the fire in your chest and over your tongue.
"What do you mean no?" John chews the end of his cigar as he and all the guys stare at you.
"I mean no." You glare at all of them, eye contact before moving on. "If you are asking me to choose one of you over the others my answer is no."
"Donne understand lass." Johnny speaks up now.
"What is there to misunderstand?" You fold your arms across your chest, it doesn't stop the feelings raging in your chest reaching the melting point of glass.
They sat in your coffee shop, an hour before the doors opened, all staring at you as if you were supposed to chose which bones to break and which to keep whole.
"Well, the answer of no is not entirely clear, so..." Kyle lets the silence linger after his comment.
Glancing at Gary he shrugs, his way of agreeing with what they have already said.
Tears prick your eyes. You find Simon, seated at the edges of your guys. He held his face impassive. Guess you hadn't moved past the emotional masks.
Unfolding your arms you rub your hands together. The tension in your body clear as you watch your hands, muscles fighting what should be an easy movement.
"I will not choose one of you over the others. If you ask me to choose my choice is to pick myself."
"Explain that." Now Simon decides to speak up.
You stare at your hands, the burns and dry patches from working here giving you a focus point.
"If I pick one of you I hurt the others. If I pick one of you I become a crack in the relationships that keeps you all coming home alive. If I choose one of you I have to cut off the relationships I have with the others. If I have to choose I have to hurt everyone. If I have to hurt everyone I might as well cut and run." A bitter laugh falls from your lips. "It's not like I have much to hold on for here. My shop is three weeks from shutting down unless we get an influx of clients on the regular."
You didn't have to see them to know they were all sharing speaking glances. Wiping your palm across your face you continue.
"It's not like you even know my real name. I could disappear, and I would if you asked me to choose."
"What do you mean about your name?" John's intense question draws your eyes to him without thinking about it.
"The name you have, the name I give out? It's my preferred name but it's not my legal name. Everything I've given any of you about me is what I choose to give. A curated version of me."
The tinge of sadness in John's face is echoed in every shift of your guys; of Johnny leaning forward onto his knees, Kyle scooting forward to stretch out further in his chair, in Gary crossing his arms, and in Simon's utter refusal to look at you.
"You wanna explain that last comment?" John is still taking the lead. It would make you smile if the idea of this whole conversation didn't make you want to peel off your skin and escape into the void.
"Not much to explain, I tend to say what I mean." Standing you try to leave the seating area to head into the kitchen.
None of them are allowed behind the counter. They know it and respect it. You need a bit of space to deal with the nuclear reactor of emotions in your chest.
Simon full names you as your back is turned. First, middle, last. Johnny spells your first name, Kyle your middle, John your last.
Your chin starts to quiver. Gary takes your hand, three quick squeezes. All the guys did that. Three quick squeezes anywhere they could hold onto you. No one would confirm what it meant but you knew.
"I love you all. If I choose one of you I lose all of you. At that point there is no reason to stay."
You move forward, letting them fall behind you as you turn the corner and into the kitchen. Heading for the walk-in fridge you shut the door tight behind you, praying that it is sound proof enough to hold back your sobs.
Hello, I have a request for an Angel Dust X F! Reader (platonic) one shot. Said reader is a hotel patron with a skunk-like form, and is highly insecure about her new appearance. Fortunately, Angel steps in to give her a pep talk about body confidence.
not gonna lie to you, I saw F!Reader and I fucking panicked. But you came to the rescue with that platonic, thank you kindly! 🤧 for sure. This is such a cute fucking idea??? Like hello?? Thank you for this!!
Confidence is Key
Angel Dust x Fem!Skunk!Reader (Platonic)
words : 1k, slight warnings for suicidal thoughts and self doubt :(
When you first arrived in hell, you were completely devastated and embarrased. It wasn’t even the fact that you hadn’t played your earthy cards right - it was the fact that you got manifested in a skunk form. You avoided the critters on earth for a reason, so no wanting to encounter one didn’t exactly line up with being one.
Luckily, you quickly figured out, ninety percent of the other sinners hated their manifested forms too. Did that help you, necessarily? No. But it made you feel a tiny bit less alone. People didn’t treat you too differently than they treated everyone else - which was, albeit, shitty, but you still fit in to some standard. Which didn’t stop you from hating everything about your manifested form.
So when you found about the Hazbin Hotel, you were practically pawing at their doors. An second chance at a manifested form? In Heaven? Absolutely. To you, redemption was just a bonus. Anything not to be trapped in this fucked up body that Hell had given you.
You had spent months at this hotel by now - still to absolutely nothing. The urge to give up and die at your own hands instead of waiting unarmed in the middle of the street during the next extermination grew stronger and stronger. If it took dying again to escape this sick joke of a form, you’d do it.
That was exactly how you felt right now, in the middle of the night in your small hotel room, curled up in your bed, black and white tail tucked between your legs as you sobbed, sniffling as you tossed and turned in your covers, fighting the internal battle of accepting your own cruel form or just giving it all up. But apparently, you were clearly having an internal battle too loudly.
There was three loud knocks on the door, followed up by a yawn. “Turn it down or talk about it, Toots.” Angel says from the other door, and you can hear his hand on the doorknob, before stopping. “You decent?” He adds, and you hum a small noise of yes before he walks in, rubbing his eyes just to see the absolute mess you had turned yourself into.
Makeup rubbed all across your face, clothes bent out of shape, and your hair that you usually worked so hard to maintain was completely messed. He walks over to you with a soft sigh, sitting on the edge of your bed, leaning back on one set of arms while the other is crossed over his lower stomach.
“Alright. Get to talking, toots.” He says with a sigh, sympathy in his eyes as he watched you start to stumble over your words, sniffling and trying to explain anything, just for him to nod, before finally cutting your ramble off. He knew this exact situation all too well. He saw Cherri go through it a couple of times over. It happened to a lot of people down here.
“Alright, here’s this deal. You have manifested in this form for a reason. I don’t know what that reason is - but you’re still you, y’know? You can still dress like you, walk like you. You’re the sexiest skunk I’ve ever seen, for the record.” He jokes with you and smiled when you hiccup out a giggles, still wiping away your tears and blowing your nose.
“You think I got dropped down here like this and loved it? Absolutely not.” He groans, rolling his eyes and leaning over to you to help you start to wipe off some of your ruined makeup, still pep-talking you back to your normal state. “First things first was the two sets of arms. I mean, hello?” He says with a wave of one of his arms, and you giggle again, closing your eyes softly as he starts working on cleaning off the other eye.
“I was hitting myself, the people around me. Plus, I don’t know about you, but I certainly wasn’t thishairy on earth either.” He says, and you feel your guilt start to melt away, looking down at your striped patterns. “It takes a LOT of time to master being a fuckin’ animal, or, in my case, bug when you’ve been a human your whole life.” He reassures quietly, throwing the used makeup wipe in the trash before you hand him your brush, sighing quietly as you listen to him talk and help your detangle your hair.
“I absolutely hated spiders on earth, y’know? Would jump out of the room whenever I saw one. That wasn’t my room any more, it was theirs.” He says with a sigh, gently brushing out a knot you had formed from pulling and twirling at your hair anxiously. “Guessing you weren’t the biggest fan of skunks either then, toots?” He asks quietly and you go with a quiet “mhm.” wincing slightly as the brush pulled at your hair.
“I don’t know if hell does it as some sort of sick joke -“ he starts, brushing more of your striped black and white hair from your eyes. “- or if it’s just automatically something to torture us. But you have to trust that you’re still loveable. And deserving of feeling hot.” He adds, handing your brush back to you as you turn around to face him, refusing to make eye contact, nervously toying with your hands.
He cups your chin, tilting your head up to look at him with a friendly smile, tilting his head at you. “We’re in this together, okay toots?” He said and you nod, making me smile a little wider. “Whether it’s the shitty toxic-positivity rehab that we’re both in, or just the face that we’re both in these forms.” He says, wrapping you in a hug, feeling you relax softly in his arms before he pulls back.
“You deserve to feel confident.” He says, putting his hand on your shoulders and watching you nod confidently, head held up high. “And if there is absolutely any way I can help you feel that.” He coos softly, pressing a kiss to your forehead in a reassuring way. “I hope you feel comfortable enough to let me.”
(TW: talk of abuse/domestic violence)
I’ve been thinking about Leon and his daughter. I am 100% sure this man is not above using his ties to the government to wipe anyone who harms his daughter/abusive partner off the face of the earth.
His perfect baby girl comes to her daddy with a bruised eye and crying? She’s an adult, sure. But Oh he’s going scorched earth.
He kisses his precious little girl on the forehead, lets her sleep in in her old bedroom, and once she’s settled, he grabs his gun and goes.
I really REALLY do not think he’d let an abuser live. Someone put their hands on his little girl. His perfect little baby has gotten hurt by someone she trusted/loved?
Yea I don’t think they’d survive.
CW: mentions of abuse and domestic violence; talks of violence as payback; Leon & the reader are together and have a daughter (unspecified age but 21+)
Anon, this message made me hurt inside, and you sent it to me a while ago so I apologize for not responding until now. But wow, we're getting really angsty...damn. This hurts, but I get where this idea coming from. I think seeing something like his daughter being hurt because of someone else will actually break Leon as both a parent and an individual who puts his life on the line for his family.
Ever since his daughter was born into the world, Leon vowed to protect her with his entire being. He worked so hard to keep her safe from the dangers of the reality that he was all too familiar with, keeping his princess in bubble wrap and tucked away in the safety he knew he could provide. It worked for some time, watching her grow up into her own human being, as gentle and as precious as he imagined, practically his spitting image with his eyes down to his smile.
No matter how old she got, she will always be his little girl. Leon wanted to keep her at home for a while longer, nervous about sending her off to college but she reassures him, promising to call once a week and on the weekends to ease his anxieties. He knew she'd have to venture off into the real world eventually, and his daughter stuck to her promise, often coming back home on her breaks and using that time to catch up with her parents.
He thinks he's done well in raising her alongside you, smart and charismatic, doing everything to ensure his child grew up to know what love and acceptance felt like so she'd never have to be without it like he was.
When Leon was introduced to her current boyfriend, he tried hard to accept him, run his own mental background checks, and make sure he was enough to take care of his daughter and treat her the way she deserved. His daughter was happy, so he relented, giving this new guy a chance. So long as he saw his daughter smiling, all was right in the world.
That's why when Leon gets a phone call from his daughter sometime at midnight, he's confused, but the hair at the back of his neck raises as he gets a weird feeling that something is wrong.
"Hi dad", he hears her on the other line, her voice shaky and unstable.
"Sweetheart? Are you okay? What's wrong?", he gets up instantly and walks out of the bedroom so he doesn't wake you up, not wanting to bring a panic just yet.
"Yeah, I'm okay", he hears a sniffle, he knows she's lying, but he doesn't mention it. "I just...can I come home? Please?"
"Of course you can, you can always come home. Do you need me to pick you up?", Leon asks without hesitation. He didn't care if there was a tornado outside, he was going to get his child back home.
"It's okay, I can drive, traffic isn't too bad. I'll see you in a few okay?", she was hiding something from him, and if that were the case it must be bad. And that scared him.
"Sure thing honey, please be safe", she hung up the phone, the anxiety getting much worse because he didn't know what to expect. You wake up soon after that to ask what's wrong, and decide to wait for your daughter to come back home and make sure she's alright.
Was she safe? Did something happen? Why did it sound like she was crying? Did someone hurt her?
So many different scenarios play in his mind that the sound of a knock at Leon's front door brings him back to the present. Opening the door, he tries to hide the way his heart crack at the sight of his child standing in front of him with a bruised eye. He doesn't say anything as she drops the duffle bag she brought and instantly falls into his chest, crying heavily and shaking in his arms.
Sometime later on the couch, she explains how she got into an argument with her boyfriend, and in a fit of rage, he threw a punch before walking out of the apartment. Just hearing her retelling this and not being able to stop crying is what breaks Leon inside, having his daughter, whom he's tried so hard to protect from this world be a victim of abuse from someone who was supposed to love her hurts him greatly.
He blames himself for letting his daughter get hurt, for letting that bastard get anywhere near his angel and hurt her like this. Whispering apologies into his daughter's blonde hair, he cradled her close as he repeated "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry sweetheart".
Leon lets her stay in her old bedroom, tucking her into bed the way he used to when she was little and running his fingers through her hair as gently as he could. He knows you'll watch over her as she sleeps, and will probably slip into bed alongside her to hold her in your arms the way a mother should.
"I promise you, he's not going to hurt you ever again. I swear", Leon tells her, and his daughter believes him wholeheartedly. He gives you a knowing look as he walks out of the bedroom, and you don't try to stop him.
He takes his gun out from the locked safe in his closet, not sure when he last held it in his hand but the muscle memory quickly comes to him. Throwing on a jacket and grabbing his car keys, he got into his Jeep and headed on the road, gripping the steering wheel tightly until his knuckles were white. Maybe being on the road while he was seething and seeing red wasn't a good idea, but he had to handle this or he would never forgive himself.
A part of him thinks that he should get Hunnigan on the phone, should have her knock some sense into him, and tell his ass to turn the fuck around. But he doesn't, hitting the gas and imagining tearing off this man's head for laying a hand on the most precious thing he has in his life.
He doesn't remember the last time he was this pissed, and he certainly didn't know he could want to hurt someone when he had been so focused on saving others for most of his life. But he finds himself caring less and less about the consequences of his actions and doesn't feel guilty for wanting to do what he knows is necessary.
Justice is what Leon calls this, and it brings him back to his time studying for the police academy, how doing the right thing felt so fundamental to him that it was always a part of his character. He's doing this out of love, out of knowing his daughter will be safe from this monster, and that makes it right.
Yeah, that man better start praying, cause it might be the last time he gets to.
You're Very Welcome
Media - Rings Of Power Character - Elrond Couple - Elrond X Reader Reader - Nadirianna / Nadi Rating - 12 Word Count -1427
Elrond, weary from the battle of Ost-in-Edhil, sought refuge on a cluster of rocks. The elves had finally stumbled upon a suitable spot to set up camp and take much-needed rest. Having devoted himself to tending to Galadriel's wounds, Elrond now found himself in a state of anxious anticipation, wondering if his efforts would prove fruitful in her recovery or if the days Elrond had slaved over her wounds were for nought. As he sat on the rocky terrain, the weight of the ring of power still resting on his finger, he took a moment to reflect and catch his breath after enduring the tumultuous events that had unfolded.
His mind felt heavy and his heart in his boots still feeling a deep loss for all of Celebrimbor’s work that the orcs burned in the siege, the countless hours many had spent noting his work, the years of knowledge, now lost to time. He felt so guilty for all who had lost their lives, all the history and knowledge lost, of everything that had been destroyed.
A young elf maiden slowly approached him, in a dirty light blue gown, her hair crudely fixed into a tight braided bun, with a large bag at her side, "Herald Elrond. Goodness! Are you alright?" She asked leaning down at his side deeply worried,
"I am well. just a flesh wound, nothing I haven't recovered from before," he said doing his best to reassure her,
But she didn't seem convinced sitting at his side, "Let me clean and wrap it at least?"
Elrond smiled at her kindly, "oh very well," he said, he looked her up and down as she dug in her bag and he spoke up, "and who are you exactly may I ask, I don't believe I've seen you before."
She smiled pulling out a small wooden box and opening it up to reveal a sort of elvish medical kit with cloths, bandages, herbs and such like, she took a cloth and begining to dap away the dirt and blood from the battle off his skin. "Nadirianna." She smiled, "or just Nadi."
Elrond found her name lovely and simple. He sat still and quietly as she tended to his wound and he felt a warm but small rush of calmness at her touch, "Nadi.." he said quietly to himself as if testing her name on his tongue. he watched her closely a moment as she worked, almost studying her in a way. she was pretty, to say the least, but there was something about her that made her stand out from other elves. he looked down at her hand as she dabbed cloth to his face gently, the way she touched him was almost... tender. When she finished wiping his face he was almost sad to have her hands no longer on him. he couldn't stop himself before he spoke. "Thank you.." he said quietly in his gentle tone. he looked into her eyes, "wherever did you come from?" he asked her almost as if he was studying her eyes and face trying to place if he had seen her before,
"my father from Valinor. I'm afraid I am a child of Middle Earth. Rare for elves I know." She nodded, "this may sting." She said quickly adding some powder to his cut to help it heal, "I lived most of my life in Ost-in-Edhil."
Elrond felt his breath hitch slightly at the slight burn of the powder she applied to his cut but he remained quiet and still. "Ost-in-Edhil you say..?" he said a little surprised.
"mhm, I worked... As celebrimbors scribe." She nodded her tone shifting to sadness,
Elrond felt his heart grow sombre when she said she worked with Celebrimbor. Elrond also shared her sadness at the loss of his friend and all his friend's work that he had worked so hard to protect, he looked at her "I'm sorry" he said in a comforting tone, his hand falling to hers softly taking it,
she sniffled and continued bandaging his cheek, "Tears will not return his work. Nor his light."
Elrond watched as she continued to bandage his cheek. he knew she was correct, crying wouldn't change anything. but the heart does not always listen to reason. he felt the urge to pull her close, to offer her the comfort of an embrace, he couldn't explain where this feeling came from.
"There it should all be well but of course take care of it." She said softly,
Elrond smiled back. His thumb softly moved back and forth against her hand, his chest felt tight. the urge to pull her close to him was growing. but he couldn't bring himself to do so. not yet anyhow. "thank you. I'll be sure to take plenty of care of it." he almost felt like his voice wanted to shake as he spoke to her,
"you're welcome." She smiled, "here." She said pressing a small kiss to his bandage, "that should help you feel a little better",
Elrond felt his heart stop the moment her lips pressed to his bandage. it was small and gentle, but it was enough to nearly take his breath from him.
He almost found his hand holding tighter to her hand. he felt the need to keep her close, not wanting her to leave. he let out a shaky breath, trying to calm himself. He chuckled softly at her little jest of a kiss making him feel better. but he almost felt as if she really had and that the feeling of her gentle lips on his face was all he needed to heal, But he slowly took her hand from his allowing her to go,
"oh and before I forget!" Nadi jumped, "It's not much I know. But I did what I could. Hopefully, it can be of some comfort and peace." As she spoke, she reached down and carefully tugged her leather bag into view. With a sense of urgency, she unclasped the worn bag and gingerly pulled out a collection of delicate scrolls. These precious items were salvaged from Celebrimbor's workshop just before the city fell to the ferocious onslaught of the orcs.
Elrond's heart pounded with anticipation as he laid eyes on the scrolls. Emotion surged within him, and he found himself on the verge of tears as he gazed down at the writings. A broad smile spread across his face as he delicately accepted the scrolls from Nadi. His fingers trembled slightly as he carefully unfurled them, revealing the familiar script of Celebrimbor. The sight of his handwriting felt like a balm to Elrond's soul, and he could scarcely believe the treasure before him. Overwhelmed with joy, he lifted his gaze to Nadi, his voice filled with emotion as he spoke."These scrolls. You saved them.." he said looking at her in awe. His eyes looked at her as if he were in disbelief that in the midst of everything she saved even this small amount of Celebrimbor’s work,
"I did my best... I only wish I'd gotten more."
He carefully rolled the scrolls back together before lifting his gaze to meet hers. With tenderness, he cupped her face in his hands, drawing her close until they were sitting face to face. His thumb traced gentle circles on her cheeks, and as he felt the overwhelming urge to pull her into his embrace and feel her warmth, a fierce internal struggle ensued. He fought against the impulse, determined to maintain his composure. "You are the most wondrous, the most extraordinary being in all of Middle Earth," he whispered, his voice filled with gratitude and reverence. "You are an angel in human form, and I cannot express the depth of my gratitude, nor can I fathom the extent of my debt to you. Middle Earth owes you a debt that can never be fully repaid, Nadirianna. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you." With these heartfelt words, he proceeded to shower her face with tender kisses.
Nadi giggled uncontrollably as Elrond showered her with kisses, but her giggles were suddenly stopped when one of those rapid kisses happened to hit her lips. For a brief flash of time neither noticed.
But Elrond immediately moved back, “Oh Uhh I Nadi… forgive me I uh-”
“It’s alright,” she blushed, “Overcome with excitement I understand,” She nodded, “Well… Take care of yourself Herald Elrond,”
“Yes, I will Thank you.” he nodded,
She smiled and got to her feet going to continue her work,
“Nadi.”
“Yes, Elrond?”
“I mean my words, truly.” He said, “I am in debt to you for this, Thank you so much.”
“You’re very welcome,” she smiled before she went on her way,
