I’m pretty sure you’ve said this all before, but the savior trio split bugs me, esp when people say ura did the best out of all of them when she did not. it’s like a domino effect of how bad this plot went from separating the group because of shipping.
Hori, before everyone’s final fight, split up the savior trio with Midoriya and Uraraka confiding in each other about being weirdos and the destruction the villains have caused but don’t talk to Todoroki about his very much public connection with Touya. They may have had more visuals about seeing the child selves, but they didn’t have the same empathy Todoroki had with his villain. You don’t need empathy to be a good person, but it helped Todoroki by pushing him to make a plan and a move set to stop Touya from hurting everyone including himself, he even mentioned how Touya was hurting himself before the final fight.
Uraraka only focuses on wanting to talk about romance with Toga (which of course ties back to Midoriya but oh well) and say nice things about her appearance, but she doesn’t say anything to reassure her that the heroes aren’t going to kill her like they did with someone she obviously knew. Midoriya doesn’t reassure Shigaraki that it wasn’t his fault that he, a small child, had accidentally killed his family with a quirk unknowingly given to him by the Worst Guy. In the end, both of them are killed and we spend a good majority of the manga dealing with their Uraraka’s emotions.
Touya didn’t reach out to Todoroki as much the other 2 did with their hero counterpart, but Todoroki was still able to reach him by the end despite how stubbornly suicidal he was. One thing that comes from Touya’s declaration is that Todoroki doesn’t have to share his story since it’s already been told, but Midoriya and Uraraka knows things about their villain counterparts that would have changed the perception of said villains (especially if THEY told it) that, from the looks of it, hasn’t been told to the rest of the world. How are they the ones who are supposed to learn to not keep stuff to themselves but don’t speak up about this?? Todoroki had to bear the pain of his family name, so I don’t see why they can’t talk. They even got to cry about not being able to save their villain while Todoroki didn’t get to. Shigaraki and Toga could show up for ghosts/dreams for them, but nothing from Touya who had a ghost-like design??
Yeah, precisely.
I honestly hated ever since Ch 305 how Hori used the child Tenko vestige image for Deku's conviction to save the "crying child". I always felt that it was a shortcut and it meant that Deku never really had to engage with the valid points Tomura had.
For the Toga-Ochako fight, the copious amount of child images prop up emotionally their dialogue, which if you read without looking at the cute girls is pretty shallow.
While I'm absolutely dying for some cute soba-brothers illustrations, I do appreciate that Shouto engaged with Touya/Dabi in his hateful self, saw himself in that raging mad adult and decided to save him. Not an idealized version of him, but the sad reality of who Todoroki Touya has become.
And yes, your point about Touya already telling the truth is valid and may be part of the reason why Shouto is not trying to walk around as domestic violence poster boy with some charity program. Touya said what he said, Endeavor publicly admitted that it was the truth, and Shouto is just not the type of person who would re-litigate that in front of the public or expose more of his father or his mother and siblings than they already were exposed. Remember also Natsuo's wish to just get some fucking life away from the family drama.
So Shouto's way of working for the public good and become someone that make people forget about Endeavor is totally valid and like I said, it can be absolutely an inspiration for others who live in toxic families.
I'm absolutely, 100% convinced that Touya is also a presence in Shouto's head / heart whether a ghost or not.
But yeah, I've been kind of pissed off about the lack of Saviour Trio scenes. Mostly because Shouto and Izuku are close friends so it felt very artificial to keep them apart. But also Shouto and Ochako could have had some meaningful interaction, especially Ochako could have told him how Toga thought of Touya and how Touya burnt down her house as an act of caring. And Touya could have asked about Toga if more interactions were shown.

Hisashi Midoriya Does Not Exist
Tumblr media
I’m officially calling it.
We’ve seen no photos or flashbacks of the man.
Inko is the only character to mention him and only does so once during a flashback from when Izuku was a toddler. Deku does not talk about his father, so either he doesn't remember him all that well or...seriously, not even a happy birthday, Happy New Year, congrats on getting into UA, etc call?
He hasn’t had any input about this hero career his son is taking on even though it's proven to be increasingly more dangerous as the situation unfolds.
He has not visited once during one of Deku’s many hospital stays, including the one where he was comatose and people weren’t sure if he was coming out of it or not.
Izuku straight up went missing for a time and Hisashi didn't return to be there for his wife, who was definitely freaking out over their missing son.
And now with Japan in total chaos, he did not returned home to be there for his family pre-Final War nor was there ever a point where he attempted to get them out of Japan for their own safety. This seems like it would have been a good time to mention a panicked father phone call. Japan closed its borders to contain said chaos. Was that not a concern for expatriates who have family back home?
Tumblr media
So either he is the worst dad/husband in the series, a series that already has a pretty high bar as far as worst dads go, or he doesn't exist. I think Horikoshi forgot he said he was going to reveal him, and is it even worth revealing him at this point? We're coming up on the end of this ride unless there's a whole other lengthy post-finale arc we're getting in which we see the full step-by-step recovery process of society and what to do about the remaining LoV members, provided they even survive this. (Bit anti-climatic, but there's still a lot to wrap up, I guess.)
I understand if the guy just wasn't all that necessary to the story, but why not just have him be a character who passed away before the plot began? Widowed Inko and be done with it.
...
Still, if he doesn't exist, who's Deku's dad? Inko didn't do this herself.
Or maybe she did and all hail the real Freckled Jesus.
Tumblr media
Sorry Marco. (<--That meme is so old, I'd half-forgotten about it.)
Anyway, the only information we really have on 'Hisashi Midoriya' is that he has a fire-type Quirk and he's allegedly working overseas.
So on to the insane theory that occasionally haunts my brain. It doesn't just live rent free here, it is a registered ghost that hangs out.
Due to the fire-based Quirk (yes, I know Hisashi is listed as having a 'fire-breathing' Quirk, but then we're just splitting hairs,) I personally think Horikoshi is lining up a shot that will nuke the Shouto/Deku ship by revealing Endeavor was Deku’s father all along for no other reason than to troll both the fandom and his own characters.
...
I also kinda just picture the rest of the Todoroki family, including satanic charcoal Dabi, with this reaction:
Tumblr media
So much for that redemption arc.
The only thing I don't like about this is knowingly sleeping with a married man is not a good look for Inko's character.
Okay, that's not the only thing I don't like about it. I would be disturbed if this was the plot twist. Please don't.

My Hero Academia Chapter 428 - A girl who loves to smile
So I think we left with some groupies fan of Shouto, Deku and Katsuki
Tumblr media
Oooooh Some guys are there too in the end
yes, swarming people can't lead to proper interactions
Bakugo is a snitch hahahaha
The title suggests we are going to see Toga (so she survived ?)
And yes Shinsou, he likes being admired but in term of social interactions, he tends to avoid crowds usually
Go back to your class, you vile villains running in the corridors
Tumblr media
That also might be because he's gay Izuku
but I digress
talking about gay fellas, you have one Deku
maybe it's the undercut, or maybe it's your build, but your target audience might end up being girls and gays
Tumblr media
Izuku is thinking about Spinner
but yes some people also got inspired by your actions
KIRISHIMA interacting with BAKUGOU
AGAIN
hzebhcbhsdbcj
I love them
anyway, Ochako is going to have some focus as I expected, we need more girls being celebrated here
Tumblr media
LET'S REBUILD TIME
thank god Aizawa is their head teacher
let them recover and rest mentally and physically first
they're teens, not adults
even as adults they would need some alone time
Tumblr media
Kirishima is the best as always
I'm glad Suneatear is finding jobs in this economy
fresh out of high school too
Well Jeanist, sometimes injuries are long lasting
AND EDGESHOT IS ALIVE WTF
Anyway Katsuki's new scars are nice too
LETTING HIM CARRY LIGHT STUFF IS THE RIGHT CHOICE
Tumblr media
hehehehe he smiles
our girl Ochako is so cool look at her
Tumblr media
They came around, the civilians
niiiiiiiiice
what is that cementoss
don't tell me it's journalists ????? or class 1-A or B ?
Tumblr media
Yes they are intense first years but of course after such events, the one trying for a hero school would be motivated to help rebuild and change society for the better
That's rich coming from you Kiri
Tumblr media
Yes they ARE
Tumblr media
Is she enjoying life or putting on a front while thinking about Toga ?
Tumblr media
Putting on a front it is
I would need my friends more than my parents in these circumstances I think
Tumblr media
OH SO THAT'S WHY NOBODY CARED ABOUT YOU AMONG THE BIG FIGHTERS ?
I thought they were just being misogynistic
I understand being gloomy about Toga, nobody ends up caring about her too then ?
Tumblr media
But you can ruin the mood ! YOU HAVE TO RUIN THE MOOD !
they care about you too
talk about your feelings
Tumblr media
Tearing up now
it's okay to seek help Ochako
after all who saves the one who saves heroes ???
Tumblr media
Romantic get together next chapter ?????
Horikoshi is always so good at drawing facial expressions

My convoluted feelings about Toga... what now?
Tumblr media
So after reading a bunch of metas all over the internet, my feelings about Toga's survival are more convoluted than ever. The fandom is basically divided into two parts:
Yes, Toga died for good. She lived, loved and died on her own terms yada yada (whatever I have been saying in my previous posts)
V/S
The hopeful part of fandom, that thinks after this type of dramatic closure Toga will somehow be revived because it goes against the themes of our story etc etc
...
Honestly, I can see why a bunch of people are saying this and then I found another Dabi Toga parallel which convinced me even more that maybe,...maybe there is an actual chance of Toga's survival!
Now hear me out!
There are literally a bunch of people who think All Might should have died in the Kamino arc, because his story arc concluded there but he survived. He survived and learned to live a life without his power, as a normal person and learn that even as a person be can make great changes.
MHA is not about people dying. Nothing good comes out of it. Twice's death proved that. Hawks murdered Twice but that came flying back at him when Toga unleashed the SMP again.
Plus, we had the Todoroki family arc concluding just before the TogaChako arc and Dabi also had the same realisation...that why not sooner?
Tumblr media
But he survived.
Despite all the injuries he survived. Because Endeavour and Touya dying together could also have been a great conclusion to their character arcs but was it fair? Think about the Todoroki family who would have been left behind. Think about the backlash that Shouto, Rei, Fuyumi and Natsuo would have faced.
Touya dying meant they failed.
And then there is TOGA.
She literally had the most chances of survival in this battle! She is also the youngest of the group. Her dying would be a true tragedy because if a little girl like her couldn't be saved then who would?
It's similar to how they saved Eri from Overhaul. Remember how even her quirk was considered a curse?
Tumblr media
Only for the story to remind us that her quirk is not in fact a curse but a blessing, by which Deku was able to defeat Overhaul.
Children are literally earthen pots, and they grow into whatever shape you provide them with. Toga's family was horrible just like Touya. Even though Touya burned her house, that contained all those horrible memories, that place still remained in her heart.
Toga finally found someone who was willing to accept her wholeheartedly. Ochako finally managed to save Toga only for her to die such a tragic death. Ochako tried so hard to save Toga, only for Toga to sacrifice her entire life for Ochako.
Tumblr media
Think about the backlash it would have on Ochako. At first I thought it would inspire her to become a better hero and save more lives but she was already feeling horrible about making Toga cry. Now she would feel like she took Toga's life. She took Toga's happy future, even if it was Toga who willingly volunteered.
She would live with the survivors' guilt her entire life!
Tumblr media
This doesn't feel right because this arc is also about making a little girl smile, and then do everything to make sure that she keeps that smile.
Tumblr media
...
So what do you guys think?

between them
todoroki shouto x fem!reader, brief mention of one sided midoriya izuku x the reader.
is this based entirely on in between by gracie abrams? yes, yes it is. i love the song. i am obsessed. been obsessed with it for years and it’s getting the recognition it deserves on tik tok. also i am a SUCKER for friends to lover tropes. they will happen a lot, and i am not sorry for it. also i promise i will write for more characters other than todoroki, i have some drafts that i want to continue on.
warnings: brief mentions of trauma, but other than that unless you hate fluff there are really no triggering things. there’s some light angst I suppose, but really not much. the reader also somewhat hurts midoriya’s feelings but not directly. also I wrote this in a day and did not proof read it so be nice, okay thanks bye

midoriya pov
——-
Midoriya groaned and slumped down in the couch next to Bakugo who was in the process of beating Kaminari in Smash Bros. Both boys looked at him for a second before they went back to playing. Midoriya looked between his friends and groaned louder, hoping one of them would get the hint. Again, ignored. Midoriya took a deep breath and let out another groan that was practically a screech.
“Oh my fuck- WHAT?!” Bakugo yelled slamming his controller down, Kaminari took the opportunity of distraction to beat Bakugo’s character. Bakugo face turned red, and he looked at Midoriya with a twitching eye, “Deku you better hope for your own life that this isn’t something fucking stupid,”
“I am giving up, I can’t come between them,” Midoriya pouted, and Bakugo felt the urge to punch his childhood friend. Kaminari was more interested now, putting his controller down on the table to look at Midoriya.
“Between who?” Kaminari propped his chin up on his hand, resting his elbow against the armrest.
“Icy Hot and the Gen Ed chick,” Bakugo grumbled having heard Midoriya talk about nothing but her for months now. Even while they were sparring, Midoriya was gushing about whatever it was she did that was so cute to him. Bakugo was sick of it, and was ready to punch Deku until he either acted on his feelings or shut up about them, “It’s about time I’m so fucking tired of this shit,”
“Okay, so, why are you giving up?” Kaminari ignored Bakugo and focused on Midoriya. Who was happy someone was indulging him.
“Both her and Todoroki have their own thing, at first I thought it was just friends but it’s so obvious it’s something more,” Midoriya explained to Kaminari, “I mean, I just wish Todoroki would stop pretending like he doesn’t feel what he does for her,”
“Okay, I feel like I’m missing details, explain more?”
Midoriya referred to two weeks prior when he and Todoroki were studying for English together.
~~~~
Todoroki was never one to be on his phone a lot, and usually never answered anybody. So when his ringtone went off, Midoriya wasn’t expecting him to actually answer. Todoroki glanced at the screen and instead saw your name on the screen. Todoroki barely let it get to the third ring before he was answering the phone, starting the conversation with your first name.
“Are you okay?” Todoroki asked, and Midoriya watched as his best friend talked to you. Midoriya could hear the muffled sound of your voice, as you explained your reasoning for calling Todoroki. Todoroki held up a finger to Midoriya, and mouthed a quick ‘I’m sorry’ before he stood up and walked across the room to his balcony to give himself some privacy. Midoriya even saw Todoroki smile, like a genuine smile, just at whatever it was you were saying.
When Todoroki came back in the room, Midoriya made a joke about him answering the phone so fast. Midoriya had never seen Todoroki blush before, but he did in that moment. He wouldn’t make eye contact as he brushed off saying that it was a perfectly normal response time.
~~~
“Oh damn someone call the chapel, Icy Hot showed human emotion, clearly he’s getting married to her,” Bakugo quipped, and Midoriya shot him a dirty look, “What?! Nerd, you sound fucking ridiculous,”
“Kacchan I just wish that you could see them,” Midoriya sighed, and looked at Kaminari, “I mean both of their faces just lighten up at the sight of each other,”
“I have seen them, Icy Hot is more comfortable with her, but people say the same damn shit about me and Kirishima and we aren’t in love,”
Kaminari raised an eyebrow, but decided to not say anything when Bakugo’s hands sparked a little.
“Maybe they just get each other, y’know they had similar upbringings? I overheard them talking the other night when she was visiting the dorm, I came down to get something to eat and they were sitting on the couch,” Kaminari refocused on Midoriya, and told him the story of what he had noticed about them.
~~~
You were sitting on one side of the couch, your back towards the kitchen and Kaminari who was definitely not eavesdropping. Then he felt incredibly guilty for eavesdropping when he realized what the conversation was about.
“My Dad wasn’t exactly the best either, but at least he ran away,” You laughed sadly, and Kaminari saw Todoroki’s face flash with an emotion he had never noticed the stoic kid show before, “I know it’s not the same, but, I hope you know if anyone understands a cold past, it’s me,”
“No, no, I think you understand better than most.” Todoroki’s voice was uncharacteristically soft, and Kaminari was certain he was about to watch a moment happen. So he scrambled away and up the stairs so he wouldn’t be labeled a pervert like Mineta.
~~~
“Why didn’t you stay and watch!!” Midoriya exclaimed.
“Because that would be fucking creepy you idiot,” Bakugo stood up, and looked at the two people who were his friends even if he would never openly admit that to anybody, “Izuku why don’t you just grow a fucking pair and ask one of them?”
“Well, because, what if it makes it weird?” Midoriya mumbled, not wanting to ruin his friendship with either of you, or between either of you.
“Listen, I am going to lay this out for you, we’ve all hung out with them together,” Bakugo snapped, his tone was aggressive but he wasn’t trying to be mean. He knew Midoriya liked you, and was finally getting over a previous crush because of you, “I mean even I’ve noticed shit, so maybe they do like each other, or maybe they don’t, you just have to grow a pair and fucking ask?”
~~~
Bakugo hated class parties, they were stupid and totally unnecessary in his opinion. He especially hated when extras from all over the school would come to the parties. The idiots from the other hero course, and then a few of the gen-ed students. Bakugo didn’t mind you though, you weren’t as annoying, mostly because you were borderline scared of him yelling at you so you tried your best to not piss him off. He appreciated the effort, so he found himself hanging around you as you played with the dress up items Ashido had left out for the Photo Booth. Bakugo even helped you pick out certain items, mostly so he could tell you how stupid you looked.
“Todoroki!” You called out, when the half-n-half man came into the room again. He looked up and spotted you, wearing a pair of obnoxiously large light up glasses. You grabbed a white and red feathered boa and practically jumped over the table to get to Todoroki.
Bakugo watched as the usual emotionally stunted idiot, actually laughed at how you looked. He saw your arms cross, and a pout form on your lips. Todoroki grabbed the boa out of your hand and put it around his neck with a straight face. You waved to Bakugo as you dragged Todoroki to the Photo Booth that had been rented. He could hear the two of you talking as you did..
“I can’t believe you laughed at me!” You said it in such a dramatic tone, as if you didn’t look like an actually insane person at the moment. Todoroki shook his head, a small chuckle slipping out again that made Bakugo want to hurl.
“I was laughing at your glasses and the way your eyes look in them,” Todoroki nudged you with his elbow as you waited for Kaminari to exit the Photo Booth, “Plus you smiled like a crazy person when you saw me,”
“Well, I was excited to see my best friend.” You huffed, and took the glasses off your face. You stood on your tip toes and put them on Todoroki. Bakugo checked out of your conversation when the two of you went into the Photo Booth.
~~~
“Why don’t you just ask her if they’re just friends or what?” Bakugo stared at Midoriya, who went wide eyed at the question.
“I can’t ask her!”
“Okay, then ask Todoroki,” Kaminari suggested.
“Yeah, idiot has a point, I mean your entire friendship started because you broke open his childhood trauma with a fucking crowbar, so asking about his feelings is nothing new.” Bakugo grabbed his drink and walked to the kitchen to refill his cup. Kaminari gave Midoriya an encouraging thumbs up, and grabbed his controller again.
Midoriya sighed, and got up to leave. He was not feeling better about it, but he also knew they were right. Midoriya went up to Todoroki’s room and knocked on the door. There was shuffling inside, and then Todoroki was at the door. He looked a little surprised when he opened it and saw Midoriya waiting for him there.
“Oh, Midoriya, did we have plans to study?” Todoroki blinked a few times, and Midoriya shook his head, “Are you okay?”
“Do you like her?”
“Do I like who? That’s very vague,” Midoriya answered with your name and Todoroki’s eyes widened a little before he regained his composure, “Well, yes, she is a likable person, and we are friends,”
“That’s not what I mean,” Midoriya sighed, remembering how dense his friend could be about these things, “Do you like her? Like if the idea of someone asking her on a date makes you angry type of like,”
Todoroki thought for a second, as if he was imagining the scenario in his head, his eyebrows furrowed and he looked at his shorter friend, “Yes, I like her,”
“Okay, so, tell her?” Midoriya’s tone caught Todoroki off guard, “Look, I’m trying to be a good friend here, but if you don’t do something soon, I’m doing something,”
“Do you.. Do you like her?” Todoroki looked genuinely worried at what the answer would be. He knew you and Midoriya were close too, you had pictures of the two of you on the pinboard in your dorm room. Todoroki had always wondered if you two were involved in that way. He actually wondered.. no worried, about it a lot.
“I did, I do,” Midoriya watched as his best friend’s face dropped, “So I am telling you to just go tell her how you actually feel, okay?”
“I don’t know how to do that,” Todoroki actually looked stress about it, running his hand back through his hair, “I mean, she’s so smart, funny, and she’s.. she’s beautiful Midoriya, not in just a generic beautiful way either, she’s like nothing I have ever seen before,”
“Todoroki, you’re telling the wrong person,” Midoriya knew that he was making the right choice in giving up on you, “Go, now, she’s in her dorm, I was supposed to go study with her this evening,”
Midoriya turned to walk away, so Todoroki wouldn’t have to see the disappointment he felt about doing this, Todoroki stopped him though, “Midoriya, thank you, truly,”
Midoriya sniffled a little and looked at his best friend, “Just don’t let me regret it, treat her right.”
Todoroki nodded firmly, and grabbed his shoes. He struggled to put them on as he scrambled down the hallway.
——-
your pov
——-
You were laying on your bed in your dorm room, rereading the texts from Todoroki from the previous night. When you texted him late at night mentioning your anxiety was insanely high, you weren’t expecting him to answer back as quickly as he did. Todoroki never left you on delivered for long though, unless he wasn’t by his phone or he was actually asleep when you tried to reach him. It was something that warmed your heart, an insane amount. Especially with all of the stress happening in your life. Trying to graduate, then handle fact most of your closest friends were heroes, also the fact that you had fallen too far in love with your best friend.
At first your interest was with Midoriya, after all he was cute, and actually saved your life when you almost fell down the stairs. It was just a small crush at first, but it was quickly washed away when you met Shouto Todoroki in person.
Everyone knew about him, just like the rest of class A. He was conventionally handsome, looked like he belonged on a magazine cover, and had an amazing quirk. Plus being the number one hero’s son made him pretty well know. From the rumors though, he sounded like he was kind of a jerk.
The rumors were wrong though.
Shouto Todoroki was a little awkward sure, but he was also kind. The second he met you, he did his best to make sure you felt included in the conversations he made with Midoriya. Then when you texted him to ask him a question about a history assignment you were doing, he was quick to answer it. That was when you found yourself texting him more often. Texting led to calls when you were bored. Calls led to the two of you hanging out privately without any of your mutual friends joining you both.
One night, you forgot that you were supposed to meet him. There had been a particularly hard call with your mom, an argument about something stupid. She had the tendency to say things she didn’t necessarily mean when she was mad, but it still broke your heart to hear her say them. Todoroki got worried when you didn’t show up at the gate, so he went to your dorm instead. He knocked a few times, and you opened the door with puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks. Todoroki’s heart almost broke seeing you that way.
“Are you okay?” He was slightly panicked that something awful had happened, but he didn’t know how much his genuine concern for you made you feel. You rushed forward, hugging him tightly and sobbing. Todoroki was stiff at first, but he wrapped his arms back around your shoulders. The feeling of being held by him was enough to make you want to crumble into pieces, but when he gently placed a hand on the back of your head and held you even closer to his chest.. You felt put back together again.
That was when Todoroki officially became your go to when it came to needing emotional support. The two of you finding ways to get the other open up. Todoroki helped you learn more about yourself, all while showing you more of him. You thought you were a bit delusional, but you were certain he was different around you than most of his other friends. You felt like you had a side of him that no one else got to know. Todoroki knew your coffee order, your favorite food, the type of blankets you liked. He played with your hair when you were sprawled out on your bed, complaining about something from school. Todoroki was just amazing, more than just his looks and cool quirks
Todoroki who always started the morning with a text, call, or sometimes show up at your dorm to make sure you didn’t snooze your alarm. Todoroki who would tense up when anyone got too close to his bubble, but who would hug you back when you were excited, sad, or even just feeling particularly clinging. He was good to you, and all you wanted was him. More than the friendship that was in between you both. Sometimes your wondered if maybe he felt the same..
~~~
You were standing in front of the mirror, staring at yourself in your fairy costume. There were so many options that your class could have picked, but instead they decided on a fantasy cafe. You got picked to be one of the fairies, which wouldn’t have been a huge deal, if you didn’t feel entirely self conscious in this costume. It didn’t look awful on you, but it also wasn’t the most modest thing you could wear.
“I’m sorry, I forgot my phone, you weren’t answering my knocking but the door was unlocked,” Todoroki walked in, slightly averting his eyes just in case you weren’t decent. He looked up briefly when he noticed you jump, and his mouth tightened up a little.
“PLEASE DO NOT LOOK AT THIS!” You shrieked, and Todoroki turned around quickly. Both of you were bright red by this point, and you were scrambling to put on your normal clothing. Once you were dressed you cleared your throat.
“Why were you wearing that?” Todoroki looked at the pink and green top and skirt that was now laid on the back of your chair, “Oh wait, is it for the festival?”
“Yeah my class is doing a ‘fantasy cafe’, so people got picked to be like princesses and what not,” You huffed, “I got picked to be a fairy, and the fairies all wanted everyone’s outfits to be at least similar,”
“You don’t sound excited?” Todoroki walked over and grabbed his phone off your bed. He almost reached for his sweatshirt to grab, but instead looked back at you. You were staring at the ground, nervously chewing on your lip.
“I look stupid in it, I can already hear the people making fun of me, do me a favor and make sure your class doesn’t show up there,” You hated how pathetic you sounded, being worried about people seeing you. Todoroki stared at the outfit, and then looked back at you.
“I thought you looked beautiful,” His tone was still as even as ever, but the words caused your face to flush even more. Todoroki raised an eyebrow and walked closer, touching your forehead with his hand, “You look like you’re getting a fever,”
“No, you just told me I’m beautiful,”
“Well, yes, you are,” Todoroki said it as if you shouldn’t even be questioning it. You wanted to scream, loving and hating the way he could just say these things without a care in the world, “Do you not think you are?”
“I mean, I don’t think I’m a troll or anything, but I’m not anything special?” You laughed a little, and looked up at him. Todoroki’s eyebrows creased, he went and grabbed his hoodie off the bed and brought it back over. He held it out for you.
“Clearly you are getting sick, your face is red, and you’re delirious, so you can use this till you feel better,” You stared at him like you were crazy, “You are the furthest from looking like a troll, Bakugo has you beat there,”
You laughed, an actual laugh again. Todoroki was clearly proud of himself for being able to cheer you up, you took the hoodie from him and held onto it, “Thank you, Todoroki,”
“I should get going, I will see you this weekend?” Todoroki slid his phone in his pocket and walked over to the door, he paused when he opened the door again, “Just so you know… I really do think you are beautiful.”
~~~
The quick knock at your door brought you back to the present. Midoriya was coming to study with you, both of you planned to quiz the other on your courses. You pulled yourself off your bed, and opened the door. It wasn’t Midoriya standing there though, it was Todoroki.
“Oh! Todoroki, are you okay? You don’t look-”
“I need to talk to you, Midoriya sent me, and I just I..” Todoroki took a deep breath, “I am new at this, so I need you to hear me out okay? Let me try to finish what it is I need to say before you start,”
You nodded slowly, and stepped aside so he could come in. Todoroki looked stressed, like there were a million thoughts running through his head. You didn’t know just how right you were for assuming that. Todoroki wasn’t usually one to just sweat normally, he could control his body temperature normally after all, but right now he looked like Kaminari when he accidentally pranked Bakugo instead of Kirishima. Besides the clear nervousness in his body language though, he held eye contact with you. You had to force yourself to not go down the rabbit hole of how pretty his eyes really were.
“I like you, more than just a like though, but not as much as.. Not as much as love yet, but yet I feel like it is love,” Todoroki blurted out the first part and then quickly tried to explain himself, and your jaw went slack, “I have been trying to watch movies, I have asked practically any girl I could, study any way to just do this, I thought I had more time but Midoriya showed up and told me to get it over with, so this is not planned out,”
“Todoroki-"
“Call me Shouto and let me finish,” He sighed, and ran his hand through his hair, “I don’t even know what there is to finish, I think that’s mostly it, like I said I am not equipped for this,”
It wasn’t until you giggled that he stopped his panicked mumbling. You felt bad, but you had never seen Todoroki so flustered, so much so that he was picking up on his closest friends habits. Todoroki, no Shouto, was usually so calm and collected. At least he put on that front, there had been plenty of times that the facade fell apart. Right now though, the stoic protection he had around his heart was gone, and it was gone because of you.
“Why are you laughing?” He deadpanned, the fluster going away at the fact you couldn’t even take his attempt at a confession seriously. The instant stoic look on his face made you break into a fit of giggles all over again. Todoroki was about to walk out, just due to the sheer amount of embarrassment he felt in that moment. You grabbed his hand though before he could run.
“I’m laughing because you’re so nervous to tell me how you feel, I mean I’ve seen you panicked but never this bad,” You giggled, and he looked back up from staring at your now connected hands, “Shouto, do you remember when I told you to drop saying my name so formally?”
“Yes, you said that someone who meant so much to you should call you by your given name, so I started calling you by your given name,” Shouto recalled the events, and you raised an eyebrow to see if he would understand. You were a blushing mess when you did it, and on the day of love nonetheless. From the look on his face you could see that he wasn’t understand what you were trying to hint at.
“Shouto, I was trying to do what you’re doing right now, but I said it and you said,” You tried to do your best impression of him, “Oh, I can do that, now do you know this math question?”
Todoroki glared at you a little for mocking him, but the glare went away when he realized at some point his fingers had slid to interlock with yours. Both of you looked down at your hands, and you blushed a little but squeezed his hand. You looked back up at him, you could see that he had relaxed a little. He looked over your face, before he let out a breath that it seemed like he had been holding for way too long.
“I said it already, but I’m new to this, I probably won’t be that great about this, but I want to try, if you’ll let me,” Todoroki’s voice was softer than you had ever heard, that mixed with the way he was looking at you made you want to melt into a puddle. Maybe even pinch yourself at the fact that this could all be a dream.
“I-I would really like to try,” You whispered, your eyes flicking to his lips before you looked back up at him. You wanted him to kiss you, but you didn’t want to ruin the moment by making him uncomfortable. Todoroki nodded, before his own eyes looked at your lips.
“I..” He shook his head, stopping himself from going on another tangent. Instead he leaned down, hesitating when his forehead pressed against yours. Both of you were breathing a little quicker, you squeezed your eyes shut. You wanted so badly to close the distance between you, his lips were right there, all you needed to do was lift your head just press your lips against his.
“Are you sure you want to do this? I’m not kidding, I have no idea what I’m doing,” Todoroki whispered, his nose gently bumped into yours, “All I know is, I hate it when you cry,”
~~~
“Where is he?” Todoroki looked around the room with a glare that seemed like it could do more damage than even just his quirks. A boy from your class had made a crude comment to you, and when you stood up for yourself, he used his quirk to make you trip. It wouldn’t have been a big deal, if you weren’t carrying your lunch tray.. Also if it hadn’t been in front of everyone.
“I-I don’t know,” You sniffled, trying your hardest to fight back the tears. Todoroki’s anger seemed to instantly go away when he heard that, and he gently tugged your hand away so that you wouldn’t cry in front of everyone. The two of you were in the hallway when you finally fell apart. School had been stressful, life had been stressful, now this.
Todoroki hesitated for a moment, but he pulled you into a tight hug. He didn’t give a damn that you were covered in food, and it was now getting all over his white shirt. That didn’t matter to him. All that mattered was the absolute pain he felt when he heard you make the sound you did before the tears started. It felt like someone was forcing him to swallow hot coals. He held on tight to you, squeezing slightly, rubbing your back.
Todoroki would hold you for however long you needed him to, because he never wanted to hear you son like that again.
~~~
“I hate that I can’t spend everyday with you, I hate not being near you, or when I feel like you’re too far away,” His hand came up and held your cheek, his forehead still pressing against yours, “But I don’t know how to be a boyfriend, I barely knew how to be a friend for the longest time,”
“I would take that chance with you,” You whispered, and tilted your chin up a little more so your lips were closer to his. Todoroki took a deep breath, especially after feeling your residual lip gloss grazed his lips.
Todoroki stopped fighting it, and finally introduced his lips to yours. The hand on your cheek slid back a little to hold the side of your head, his fingers gently intertwined with your hair. You felt your entire body simultaneously relax but yet come to life. This had to have been what Kaminari’s quirk felt like, because all of your nerve endings were standing on edge as if an electric shock was flowing through you. Everything around you seemed to stand still, nothing else on the earth mattered. Todoroki’s lips were soft, and he slightly tasted like the sweet peppermint chapstick you had bought him at Christmas. The kiss was gentle and slow. There was no rush, no hurry at all, because this moment was perfect.. This moment couldn’t have been more perfect. Todoroki finally pulled back, to look over your face again, still keeping his hand in the same spot. Todoroki’s thumb reached and gently rubbed your cheekbone.
“No matter what happens, I know we’ll still be okay,” Todoroki sounded like was reassuring himself more than you. You still nodded quickly though, squeezing his hand that was still holding yours, “…Is that my sweatshirt?”
“….No?”
“It is, you told me you lost it when I asked for it?”
“Well, first lesson in being a boyfriend, these are our clothes now,”
“I feel like you’re tricking me, but I will just let you have this one.”

Different anon here but I too, love dogs, have mommy issues & am attracted to weird men 😌
I know you've talked about weeds and scribbles friendship but will todoroki's s/o (gem? jewel? Goldie?) fit into that unholy trinity dynamic?
Goldie is such a cute name. 🥹 But!!! the way i see our Y/Ns friendship is like—a triangle, where sometimes two sides will be stronger than the other, depending on what their friendship needs, LOL. So like, Scribbles and Gold-Filled are more assertive than Weeds; they’re the how dare they talk to you that way we’ll jump them. Alternatively, Weeds is more likely to be understanding of Gold-Filled’s mummy issues, since Scribs is a bit of a mummy’s kid—so Weeds and Gold-Filled have a lot of heart-to-hearts. Weeds is also probably less draining to hang out with than Scribbles, LMAO, and Gold-Filled is at their heart the kind of person who likes to recharge alone! Saying all that, though, Scribbles is always game for new things so Scribs and Goldie (who has a close-knit group of besties who always do things) are definitely the pair that’ll be like, omg let’s make a pitcher of margaritas and some brussel-sprout tacos and watch a youtube compilation of Pro Hero fails.
They fit together! They each have strengths and weaknesses as individuals and that helps them in their friendship! Their stupid boyfriends might be the reason they meet, but even beyond bonding over the difficulties of dating a Pro Hero as a civilian, who they are as people will be what tightens their relationships to each other. Bakugou and Shouto might share a patrol one day; Gold-Filled will call into Weed’s shop and buy some flowers. Shouto comes back to their place that evening, and the flowers are there, on the table. Across the city, Weed’s gets a dry message from Scribbles, saying Deku’s pacing around their studio, muttering about work. Deku gets a message from Bakugou, telling him to cut it out and go sleep, or eat, or something. Goldie sends a message to Scribbles, asking if they’re still on for drinks and nibbles on the weekend, sans boyfriend, Scribbles replies yes, but that Weeds is out because she and Haru are hanging out; Goldie, who’s not that comfortable around kids, suggest they bring the drinks and nibbles to Weeds.
It’ll be stuff like that. Just on and on! Being besties! Through the good and the bad and the incredible. 🌷

Give Me a Name So I Can Be Someone Special
“I think of you as my friend Bakugou, but…”
“WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT WE ARE FRIENDS, BASTARD?!”
“...for some reason I am annoyed at you.”
“AND I AM ALWAYS ANNOYED SEEING YOUR SHITTY FACE!”
“And I think that you know why. Tell me.”
Katsuki stopped his yelling for a second, red eyes just staring at Todoroki like he had grown a second head. Did he hear it right? Had Todoroki fucking Shouto just demanded an answer from him? A vein popped at Katsuki’s head, and his mouth opened in a snarl.
“FUCK YOU ICYHOT BASTARD! I AM NOT TELLING YOU A THING! GO FIGURE OUT YOUR SHITTY FEELINGS TOWARDS IZUKU BY YOURSELF! DO I LOOK LIKE A FUCKING MATCHMAKER NOW?!”
...
Or a story where Todoroki Shouto is trying hard to understand his feelings towards the cute green haired girl who calls her agressive childhood friend's "Kacchan", but still calls him "Todoroki-kun". He just wants to feel special.
(Tododeku / Todoroki Shouto X Fem! Midoriya Izuku)
P.S: I posted this story at Fanfiction.net and AO3 under the name "Mistsukis2".
It was foolish.
Truly, it was foolish.
Todoroki Shouto was well aware of how stupid it was, yet he couldn't suppress the vexing sensation that stirred within him whenever he heard...
"Hold on, hold on! Kacchan!"
"What?!" Katsuki snapped, growing impatient. "Quit babbling Izuku, and come at me with everything you've got!"
For a fleeting moment, Todoroki had to take a deep breath, carefully managing his facial expressions.
THAT. He didn’t know when it started, but hearing Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki addressing each other by their names so casually became one of the things that Shouto hated the most.
“We are just training Kacchan!” Izuku tried to persuade the ash blond boy, her hands desperate moving around. “And we are not supposed to use our quirks!”
“Who is using their quirks, shitty Izuku?!” Bakugou yelled at the same time that a small explosion left his left hand.
A vein pulsed on Todoroki's forehead, and without a second thought, he hurled unforgiving his opponent towards the gym floor with an unexpected intensity. In the background he could still hear the argument between the green haired girl and the ash blond explosive boy going on.
"Oh, shit!" Kaminari cried out, his hands instinctively cradling the back of his head. "That really hurt, Todoroki!"
The outburst snapped Todoroki out of whatever had possessed him at that moment.
"I'm sorry, Kaminari...I got distracted and used more force than I intended…" Todoroki apologized, extending a hand to help the blond boy up. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, man. Thanks." Denki replied, grasping Shouto's hand to rise to his feet. "But it's unusual to see you getting distracted during an exercise. Is everything alright?"
Todoroki's mismatched eyes briefly shifted towards the duo engaged in the ongoing fight a few meters away, before returning his gaze to Kaminari.
"Yes, I just got distracted. That's all."
"Well, if you say so…"
They are childhood friends.
Shouto was using this argument to try (even though he was failing) to control his feelings.
Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki had know each other for almost their entire lives, so naturally they would call each other in a more familiar and intimate way, for some reason it didn’t really matter that for a good pair of years they weren’t exactly friends, the fact that they did spent a lot of time together didn’t change. They knew each other better than anyone else.
During their first year in U.A, Bakugou had called the girl by that childhood nickname “Deku”, a name that was supposed to be an insult coming from him, a name that the girl decided to use as her hero name. Midoriya decided to change the original meaning of it. No longer would she be the “useless Deku”, now, she would be the “Deku who can do anything”.
And a year later, Bakugou apologized for everything he had done to the girl so far, while they were trying to bring the One For All user back to U.A. On that rainy day, he also decided to drop that nickname.
Shouto remembers how easily Bakugou said her name.
Her name left his lips naturally.
Izuku.
From that day forward, he continued to call Izuku by her name, except for when they were in their hero costumes. This deliberate choice to use her name held a deeper significance, it served as proof of a unique connection between them, a connection that was undeniably...special.
They are childhood friends.
Indeed, they were childhood friends, a fact that couldn't be denied.
But Shouto despised it nonetheless. That, too, was an undeniable truth.
"Midoriya, can I call you by your given name?" Todoroki asked during lunchtime, his eyes never leaving the soba that he was eating. He was trying to be as casual as possible.
The unexpected request caught everyone off guard. Izuku choked on her tea, Iida's glasses slipped from his face landing on the table with a soft "clank", and Uraraka turned to glare at him. It was lunchtime and the four of them were at their usual table at the cafeteria when Todoroki's patience ran out after hearing Bakugou and Midoriya arguing during the whole sparring exercise.
"You can call me Shouto, too." He deadpanned.
"To-Todoroki-kun?" Izuku gasped, her cheeks flushing. "Where is this coming from?"
"Yes!" Uraraka interjected, hugging the other girl and bringing her close, as if protecting her. "Why should Deku-chan call you by your name when she still calls me 'Uraraka-san'! I am her first friend!"
"That's what you are worried about?" The class president commented, adjusting his glasses back onto his face.
"This…this is really out of nowhere, Todoroki-kun." Midoriya said, still blushing, but it was obvious that she was worried at the sudden request. "Is something wrong?"
Shouto's right hand gently lowered the chopsticks, yet his mismatched eyes remained fixed on the food before him. He hesitated to explain the reason for his request, because he himself couldn't fully grasp the reason. How could he possibly convey that he longed to be treated on equal terms as Bakugou? How should he explain that he also wanted to be ‘special’ in Midoriya’s life when he didn’t even know what that meant? They were friends, they have been friends for almost two years by now, after so many battles and obstacles that they had to overcome together, there was no way someone would deny that. But still…for some reason he didn’t really feel special.
“Todoroki-kun?” The One For All user called.
Shouto considered himself smart. His grades were good, he was improving his quirk and battle tactics, however, when it came to emotions and socializing, he remained clueless, a hopeless case, perhaps even as emotionally constipated as Bakugou. Frowning, he questioned why he kept comparing himself to the explosive ash-blond boy.
“I…I just…” He what? What he wanted to say after all?
“You just…?” Ochako asked, brown eyes still looking suspicious at Todoroki.
Well…fuck. He didn’t know.
“Todoroki-kun, do you need to go to the nurses office?” Iida asked, hands chopping the air. “Maybe, Recovery Girl can help you?”
No, he was sure that the only person who could help him was the green haired girl sitting just across the table. So he decided to be his usual self and say just whatever was in his mind, because that sounded more like him.
“Why do you call Bakugou, ‘Kacchan’?” Shouto blurted, the nickname sounding strange as it left his lips, his mismatched eyes finally meeting Midoriya's green gaze.
The table was silent for a full minute, none of the other three occupants reacted, still trying to process Endeavor son's words.
“...Eh?” That was the first word that left Izuku’s lips when her brain decided to start working again. And then she blushed, redder than before. “To-To-Todoroki-kun?! Wh-Why are you asking me th-this?!”
“Do you call him that way just because he is your childhood friend?” He continued undisturbed.
“W-well, y-yes? I mean…”
“Or do you call him ‘Kacchan’ because he is special?”
“WHAT?! What does that even mean?!” Izuku yelled, as red as Shouto’s hair.
"Todoroki-kun!" Uraraka finally let go of Izuku to slam her hands on the table. "What the hell?!"
"Something is definitely wrong with you today, Todoroki-kun!" Tenya argued. "Let's go to Recovery Girl!"
"I am fine." Shouto protested, eyebrows frowning. "I am not sick."
"No, something is wrong!" The taller boy shot back. "You are asking…peculiar things…"
"What's peculiar about my question?" Todoroki asked, clueless. What was wrong with that? It's not like he was asking her if she was the secret child of All Might…again. Now that he thinks about it, that question was peculiar. "Is that something that you can't answer, Midoriya?"
And once again, all attention turned to the green-haired girl, who did her best to hide behind her long locks.
"N-No..." She stammered, still concealing herself. "It's just...now that you've mentioned it, the nickname does sound rather silly! Oh my god! Just kill me now! I wonder why Kac…” Izuku paused, uncertain. "Katsuki? Bakugou? Ugh! I wonder why he hasn't killed me yet for using that name!"
"Maybe he does like the nickname after all?" Ochako pondered, before she went back to the main topic. "But that's not the point here! Why do you want to know that, Todoroki-kun?!"
He didn't know.
"...curiosity?"
"Why did it sound more like a question than an answer?" Iida sighed.
"ANYWAY!" Izuku snapped, her friends staring at her still flushed face. "I've been calling Kacchan this way since we were like…four or five? So it kind of stuck? It's not like he is s-special or whatever, okay! And I don't think I can change it now, calling him Katsuki or Bakugou is weird!"
"HAHHH?! WHAT IS SO WEIRD ABOUT MY FUCKING NAME, NERD?!"
A shiver ran down her spine, and slowly Izuku turned around, just to find said ash blond childhood friend behind her.
"Ka-Kacchan…" Izuku squiked. "Nothing! Nothing is wrong! I swear!"
"We don't have time for your anger issues now, Bakugou-kun! We have more important matters at hand!" The gravity hero-in-training interrupted.
"THE HELL YOU SAID, ROUND FACE?!" He was livid now.
Iida sighed again, why couldn't they have a nice and peaceful lunchtime?
"Todoroki-kun here just asked Deku-chan why she calls you by a nickname!" Uraraka continued, brown eyes glaring at both boys now. "And why don't I have a nickname yet, Deku-chan?!"
"Do you want one?!" Midoriya looked surprised now.
"Nickname?!" Bakugou snarled. "The fucking childish nickname that this damn nerd keeps calling me?! Why do you want to know that, half and half bastard?!"
"Curiosity," The ice and fire quirk user replied, his mismatched eyes locked in a glaring competition with Bakugou's red gaze.
Katsuki held their gaze for a few moments before a realization sparked in his eyes. A smirk formed on his lips.
"Oh~ I see," He said calmly, though there was an underlying amusement that unsettled Todoroki. What had Bakugou figured out?
"Kacchan, seriously, they're just asking about...your nickname." Izuku sighed, covering her face with her palm, her cheeks still burning. "And Kaminari-kun calls you that sometimes too."
"And whose fault is that, shitty Izuku?" The blond hissed, though his red eyes were fixed on Todoroki, waiting for a reaction.
And a reaction he received. Todoroki froze his soba, startling Izuku, Tenya, and Ochako, while Katsuki's smirk grew wider. "Got a problem, bastard?!" The ash blond boy laughed. "Get your own nickname fucker!"
"You can't use your quirk, Todoroki-kun!" Iida scolded, back was the Class 2-A president, however he was promptly ignored by said friend.
Really, Shouto just wanted some answers to try to understand his feelings, he just wanted to know why Bakugou was ‘Kacchan’ for Midoriya, he just wanted to call the girl by her given name, and maybe get her to call him by his, however after hearing the explosive boy taunt him that way, Todoroki Shouto wanted more.
"Midoriya, give me a nickname!" Shouto suddenly blurted out.
"What?!" Izuku exclaimed, her face flushing even deeper.
"I want one too, Deku-chan!"
"Why are you guys...!" The heir of One For All felt a wave of profound embarrassment washing over her. She spun around, intending to shoot a glare at her childhood friend, only to realize that he had vanished into thin air. "Kacchan!"
He had cunningly left her to handle the aftermath of the chaos he had incited.
Oh, during their next sparring session, she vowed to unleash her full strength and kick his ass...
"Midoriya."
"Deku-chan!"
...but before that, she needed to address the current situation.
"I don't understand why you two are acting like this, but if I give you guys nicknames or simply call you by your names, will that solve this matter?" Izuku inquired, ensuring that she understood the central point of their conversation.
"Yes!" Uraraka and Todoroki chimed in unison.
Midoriya sighed, and Tenya offered her a comforting pat on the back, equally drained by the perplexing turn of events at the table.
"Alright!" She declared, pointing a finger towards Ochako, who squirmed in her seat. "From now on, Uraraka-san, I will call you Ochakochan!"
“Yeyyy!” The brunette erupted with joy, throwing her arms in the air, barely containing her urge to activate her quirk and float away.
"And Todoroki-kun!" Izuku pressed on, her cheeks faintly tinged with a rosy hue. "I'll be calling you S-Shouto-kun, alright?"
"Okay.” He replied before she had a chance to change her mind. “Can I address you by your name as well?"
Blushing intensified, creeping from her cheeks to her ears and neck, Midoriya attempted to conceal her face behind her hands. Nevertheless, she nodded, granting him permission. Unbeknownst to her, she missed the subtle but satisfied smile that graced the dual-quirk user's lips.
“Thanks, Izuku.”
And her name effortlessly rolled off his tongue, just as naturally as his own. Well, he didn’t really get a nickname like he had wanted to, but it wasn't a complete loss. For once he felt the ache in his chest subsided.
With Todoroki and Uraraka correcting her half the time, it took less than three days for Izuku to get used to the changes.
Their classmates were surprised, but didn’t questioned the sudden change of way of addressing each other. Knowing the so called “Dekusquad”, it was too weird or too complicated to try to understand, just Bakugou seemed to know what was happening, always making sure to laugh at Deku, everytime that Ochako or Shouto were correcting her. Also, when Midoriya made sure to throw Katsuki across the gym using  the quirk blackwhip , one day after the “name stuff” started, if someone was still curious they weren't anymore.
After a week, everything had settled down.
He was ‘Shouto-kun’ now and Midoriya had become ‘Izuku’ to him.
Todoroki found immense satisfaction in this newfound familiarity. Every time Midoriya uttered his name with her sweet voice and a smile on her face, warmth would spread through his chest. And when Izuku's cheeks flushed upon hearing him call her by her given name, the sensation would overflow, filling him with delight.
Yet, there was a lingering nagging feeling deep within him.
Now that he was ‘Shouto-kun’, did it mean he held a special place in Midoriya's life?
It had been almost a month since they had started addressing each other in a more intimate manner, but everything seemed to remain unchanged, leaving him perplexed. He couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong with their current status of friendship, he was happy, she was happy, but…what?
Oh~I see.
That was Bakugou’s words that day.
Even if Bakugou was as emotionally constipated as him, when it came to other people, he exhibited keen observational skills, and for some reason, Shouto knew that the explosive ash blonde had figured out something that Shouto himself didn’t.
“You know something.” Todoroki deadpanned.
“What the hell are you talking about, half and half bastard?!” The blond boy hissed.
And that’s what led to the current situation. Shouto wanted an answer, so why not corner Bakugou at the gym lookers room? It seemed like a good idea.
“...feelings…?”
“ARE YOU THAT DUMB?! FOR FUCKS SAKE! I AM OUT!” Bakugou stomped from the lockers, cursing as loud as ever, scaring the few other students who were still lingering at the school after classes.
“I have feelings…towards Izuku…?”
And Todoroki froze there, trying to process Bakugou’s words.
“Shouto-kun…?”
Two days had passed since Shouto's conversation with Bakugou, and Shouto was still trying to figure out his feelings. Of course he liked Izuku, she is an amazing friend, person and hero, but had he also started seeing her…as a girl now?
No, it wasn't a sudden realization. From the very beginning, Todoroki had been aware that Izuku was a girl, it was impossible to overlook her femininity when she wears a short skirt or her hero costume that hugs her in the right places. Also it was really hard to ignore Mineta's inappropriate remarks about the girls, particularly Yaoyorozu and Izuku, as they sat close to him. Shouto is always grateful when Asui shut down the small boy with a swift slap.
“...Shouto-kun…?”
The truth was, he had never considered the possibility of wanting something more with Izuku. Previously, he had been content with their friendship, she was probably his first friend ever and hero, so he wanted to cherish that feeling, so what exactly had triggered this change?
“The fuck is wrong with the bastard?! We are going to be late for the internship! Do something about it, Izuku!”
“Ugh…I don’t know, I keep calling him, but he doesn’t even blink, Kacchan!
Izuku. Kacchan. Oh…Oh!
Suddenly, Todoroki’s mismatched eyes turned to stare at the duo in front of him. Realization hitting him. Hard.
“Are you okay, Shouto-kun?” Izuku asked, big green eyes showing concern.
Oh. So that’s why he hated the familiar way that Bakugou and Midoriya addressed each other so much.
“...jealous.” Todoroki blurted. “I am jealous.”
“Eh?!”
“What the fuck?!”
All this time he had been jealous of Bakugou’s relationship with Izuku, it wasn't just about the way they refer to each other. He was jealous that they were childhood friends, he was jealous that they have a story together, he was jealous that Bakugou knew an Izuku that he would never know, a small quirkless child, that grew up to be the Izuku that he knew today
“I am jealous of Bakugou.” He stated again. “I am jealous that he knows you better than me, Izuku.”
“W-w-what?!” And the green haired girl blushed, stuttering with her words, nothing concrete coming from her mouth.
“JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! NO! DON’T! SHUT THE FUCK UP BASTARD! I DON’T WANNA HEAR SAPPY STUFF!” Bakugou's outburst filled the air, but it didn’t prevent Shouto from continuing speaking.
“And his nickname, it sounds like something special.”
“I-IT ISN’T!” She cried embarrassed. “OH MY GOD!”
“I WILL NOT FUCKING HEAR IT! I'M LEAVING! YOU DEAL WITH THE LOVER DIPSHITHEAD, IZUKU!”
“WHAT?! LO-LOVER?!”
Katsuki slammed the classroom door with tremendous force, making Izuku briefly wonder if it would come crashing down. But her focus shifted when she felt Shouto grab her right hand, the one with scars from their battle during their first year, and pull her closer. When did he even get up from his chair?
“Izuku?”
“YE-YES?!”
“Can you give me a name, so I can be someone special, too?”
And for a moment, Midoriya Izuku wondered if she had suddenly developed a heat or fire-based quirk because she felt like she was about to combust. Perhaps her face would forever remain red?
“Izuku?”
So unfair! She thought, Shouto was looking at her with that handsome face of his, and still managing to make puppy eyes, how was this even possible?! And how could she say ‘no’ for that request? It was really embarrassing, and she was sure that the next day…no, she was sure that when they arrived at Endeavour's agency people would ask what the hell was happening, but…it’s not like she was against the idea either.
She glanced at Todoroki, who was still waiting for her…answer. The blush spread to her ears and neck.
“S-Sho…Shou…That’s silly!”
“I don’t care how silly it sounds.” The dual quirk user stated. “It’s a special name.”
Oh God…okay!
And she finally said it.
“Shouchan!”
And because Izuku turned around, too embarrassed to keep staring at the boy, she lost the smile, not the shy small one that Todoroki Shouto was known for, she lost a big, happy and satisfied one. But again, in the future, not so far from that moment, she would probably see it, because now, Shouto…
No.
Because now, Shouchan felt special.

Calling them bro after you start dating
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Katsuki | Shouto | Izuku | Eijirou
Tags: SFW, but suggestive, Fem!Reader, Crack? Fluff, Comedy, kinda ooc, Characters are all aged up, Deku’s is a lot more suggestive. The tense on this is all over the place, I’ll fix once I have the brain power to do so
Tumblr media
Bakugou Katsuki
Even before you were dating it sort of ticked him off- being called bro by you- so after you start dating, does it drive him MAD!
“Stop that shit.”
You’re too used to his huffy behaviour so you pay it no mind, just rolling your eyes.
“Don’t roll your eyes at me.” He glares, albeit not harshly.
His stare lingers and you find yourself finally caving and asking what’s wrong. “Bro what?”
“That.” He points at you, looking dramatically offended. “Calling me bro? I’m your Boyfriend.”
The realisation that it’s being called ‘bro’ that had Bakugou acting all pouty, has you choking back a laugh.
“Katsuki, bro, is that it?” You sputter through the giggles.
“Oh fuck off [Name].” It isn’t angry sounding and he takes a seat by you, almost cuddling. “What if I started calling you extra, Hah?”
“You used to!” You poke him and he shoots you yet another glare. “‘Fucking extra, go out with me’ if I recall correct.”
Then he’s groaning and turning his head, sporting an evident blush. “I thought we agreed to not talk about that again.”
“What, I said yes didn’t I?” You go to cup his cheeks so he faces you. You then push yourself to his lap, seating yourself comfortably “And here I am, in your arms, 5 years later.” His frown had started to soften, but like the menace you are, you couldn’t help but tease a little more. “Bro.”
This time he rolls his eyes, smitten enough to let you tease. “You’re the fuckin’ worst, ya’ know that?” His words mean nothing with how gentle they leave him.
“I know.” You grin, pecking him on the lips. “But you love me anyways.”
He returns your kisses almost instinctively, then sighs out a soft. “Yeah… I do.”
“But actually stop calling me bro, next time I’ll kick your ass.”
“Kats’!! You’re so mean!!”
Todoroki Shouto
Thinks he’s in the bro zone.
Although he’s not unaware of the feelings of those around him by any means, he can be a little ignorant to nuances of speech, taking things too literally at times. So when you refer to him as bro, oh he assumes the worst.
To be fair it isn’t just on him, you’re just as bad calling your crush bro. What did you expect.
It takes multiple hurdles, an abundance of google searches along the lines of “Does my crush like me back?” or “How to tell if a woman is interested you.” Unbelievably useless advice from resident-playboy Denki, and a more than awkward conversation with his father, for Shouto to actually find himself in a relationship with you.
So when you call him bro even after you start dating, oh god is he even more confused.
“[Name], Do you see me as a brother figure?”
The question is out of the blue and you can only stutter out a “What?”
“You keep calling me bro, even ‘broski’ once.” He prompts.
You hadn’t even noticed that, and it’s a little embarrassing to finally realise; you very much have been calling your crush-now-boyfriend ‘bro’ for years.
“Oh god, it’s just habit.” You insist. “I don’t see you as a brother, no.”
He doesn’t respond immediately, seemingly in thought.
When he does reply though, his words are a little stuttered. “You call- Katsuki and Izuku ‘bro’ too…”
You’re not sure why that matters until it clicks, he wants to be called something special.
“Would you like it if I called you something else, how about love? I think pretty suits you too.”
It’s not often you see Shouto flustered- confused maybe- but hardly bordering shy. Instead he’s one to be blunt and direct, sometimes even shameless. But now he sways, warm in the face, nodding his head and whispering out gently. “Yes. I’d like that.”
Midoriya Izuku
It’s not even you that gets to him, it’s Bakugou.
Laughing about “She calls you bro?? You fuckin’ nerd, bro-zoned by your own girl!”
Izuku knows it’s just habit and you see him as your man, more than knows mind you.
But he’s never been immune to Bakugou’s torments so it does keep him on high alert, taking note of the multiple times you call him bro.
When you’re leaving the house, it’s a “See you bro.” When you return, it’s a damn kiss alongside “I’m back bro.” Even when you go to say those three special words, it’s somehow tainted by being followed by “bro.”
Izuku doesn’t get mad often, but it’s really starting to agitate him hearing you call for him so casually.
“Okay, no more.” He one day stands up without any warning. Practically stomps over and tackles you to the ground.
It’s a tumble of laughter but one look at Izuku and you know you’re fucked.
His eyes are dark, his expression stern. It’s a look you hardly see on him, being so doting all the time. But it’s one you certainly don’t mind.
“You’ve gone far enough.” His voice is deep, almost rough, you can feel it on your skin. “I think we should just remind you what I’m really called…”
Kirishima Eijirou
Doesn’t notice the difference. And it’s probably because he calls you bro.
Everyone is a bro to him, all his crushes growing up were bros [and he wonders why none of them worked out] even his own Mother is a bro.
However draws the line during sexy times.
He’s kissing your neck, clearly initiating a little time away from work, while you type away at your desk.
“Ah come on bro, not now.”
He quite animatedly deflates, literally sinking with a frown.
“You ruin my fun.” He speaks, pout on his face.
“Sorry Bro, just a lil’ more paragraphs and I’m all yours.” You turn and give him a quick peck.
“No- It’s not that- you just.” He really is a sweetheart who would never be upset by being turned down. “Stop calling me bro.”
“Oh.” You almost laugh. “But you do it all the time.”
“Not while kissing you!!” Kirishima insists.
“Broooo.” You let out a dramatic sigh, paired with a smirk that Kirishima catches on to. He frowns.
“That’s it. I’m banning the word.” Kirishima stands up, determined. “Neither of us can use it anymore.”
You raise an eyebrow in his direction, amused by his new found commitment. He takes no mind to your lack of belief and remains dead set on his new pledge.
Doesn’t last a day.
Gets a call from Bakugou and picks up with “What’s up bro.”
As if he already expects you to be there laughing at his mistake, he shoots his head round and makes direct eye contact with you.
“Told ya’ you couldn’t do it-” You both stare each other down, silently daring the other to say another word. You take on the dare with a brilliant grin. “Bro!”
Tumblr media
This is a very me thing to call everyone bro/brother or broski… anyways, clearing out my drafts and found this, I don’t particularly like each part but it did make me laugh a lil so hey! Why not post lol.

studying with them
✨Bakugo✨ is a mean tutor, I’m sorry. He’ll absolutely roast you alive if you get over half of the questions wrong. “Hah?! How did you pass class with these grades?!” He’s smart but ruthless. Funnily enough, he’s still soft with you because you’re sat on his lap with his chin resting on your shoulder. “Alright, by the time I’m done with you, you’ll be able to calculate series in your sleep!” But when you finally get everything correct, it’s SO rewarding. Your boyfriend looks exceedingly pleased with himself and he hugs you from behind. “Good job. You finally did it. Now we can go on our dates like usual.”
✨Shouto✨ is very patient with you. He explains all of your errors and mistakes like a professor - a very boring one. Admittedly, his dull tone has made you doze off more than once. But the best parts are when you take breaks and his sister gives you two snacks. You’ve probably gained a pound from the amount of mochi she feeds you two. “Hm, maybe if we have the snacks at the end of the session you’ll be able to focus more…” Suddenly you’re able to argue with him in perfect broken English.
✨Deku✨ has the amazing ability to make you more confused than you initially were when you arrived. He spouts on and on and on about theories and random historians that developed the techniques or ideas. “Did you know that Aristotle- Y/N, are you paying attention?” Crap, was that drool on the corner of your mouth? “Oh, uhhh might’ve missed the past few minutes but I finished the worksheet.” He sheepishly laughs and scratches the back of his head, “Sorry, I’ll look over it for you.”
✨Kirishima✨ isn’t helping you; you’re helping him. It’s not that he’s a bad student, but that he lacks the will to apply himself and is a bad test taker. “So x equals 9?” After realizing how well he responds to constructive feedback, you smile. “Yes! You got that right!” He lets out a tired sigh, “Then why are my grades so low?” Poor baby looks like he wants to cry. You’ve never seen him in such low spirits so he must take this seriously. “You’re just a bad test taker. Try to relax, get sleep, and don’t stress too much!” Your advice really helps him out, so he treats you to a nice date.
✨Denki✨ is a clueless and helpless soul every time you two study together. Let’s face it, you’ve probably gotten dumber through spending time with him. “Why is English so stupidly hard?! Their, there, they’re. They sound the same!” You honestly have a hard time understanding the complex nature of the language, too. So, you both decide to watch Disney movies in only English. The best part is that you’ve both started to understand it more; the worst part is that Denki now also knows the songs in English.
✨Iida✨ has been waiting for this moment. Honestly, he’s been fantasizing about studying with you because he loves the aesthetic. The possibility of you having trouble and then him needing to lean in? And then you bumping heads and laughing together?? Yeah, he’s a nerd through and through. So don’t be surprised when you ask him for help that he exclaims “Yes! I have a weekly schedule planned out” and then the library is booked for only you two.

Without Further Ado... Smut under the Cut!
Needly raindrops pricked your skin as you scurried through the drizzle to get to your apartment. It had been so sunny when you left, too. You were thinking what a waste it was wearing your new sundress when you smelled an oh so familiar aroma; chicken stock, kelp, bonito flakes…
“Mmmm… dashi.”
Shouto must have conned Katuski into making cold soba again. You could practically hear the argument in your head:
“No! No way!”
“Why not?”
“We’ve already had soba twice this week, you fucking fiend! No!”
“Pleeeaaase, ‘Tsuki-chi~”
And a soft blush would creep up Katsuki’s face, all the way up to his ears, then his pout would drop into a scowl, and…
“Tch. Fine! But this is the last time!”
And he’d mutter under his breath the entire time he got out his ingredients “something-something-icy-hot-bastard-something-it’s-all-he-fucking-eats.” Shouto had a knack for pushing all the right buttons to stroke Kacchan’s daddy kink just right.
You laughed silently to yourself as your key ground into the lock, a harmony of “welcome home!” greeted you as you toed off your shoes at the door.
“Dinner’ll be ready soon! Make sure you’re washed up!” Katsuki scolded preemptively, without even bothering to looking up from the scallions beneath his knife.
“Yes, ‘Tsuki-chi..” You teased, he paused his chopping to glare fiery daggers at you, only to resume with a shake of his head and additional muttering under his breath.
Shouto was the first to greet you in person, rising from his seat at the island to meet you at the door. He took your face in both hands, and kissed your forehead, the tip of your nose and finally your lips before saying, “Welcome home, Angel. How was your day?”
You waved away the pink dusting your cheeks, “Long..” you sighed.
“Then you should come sit, make yourself comfortable.” He smiled, offering his elbow to escort you to the couch. He never understood it, but his behavior always made him seem so… regal. He never failed to make you feel like a princess.
You flopped down into the waiting cushions with a sigh, only for Izuku to reach over and paw at your thigh,
“Noo, c’mere..” He whined. You obliged with a playful sigh, throwing your leg over his hips and pulling yourself up to face him. His broad palms rested on your thighs, and he looked up at you with cheeky grin,
“Hi~” He said.
“Hi..” Your hands found their way around to the nape of his neck, fingers toying with the curls there, elbows cradled in his broad shoulders..
He ran his hands over your legs until his crooked fingers crawled beneath the hem of your skirt, and then meandered down and around to cup the sides of your thighs. The motion sent little tingles up your spine, and his proximity to your more intimate areas set them aflutter.
“This new?” he asked, face scrunched up and curious about your dress.
“Yeah, kinda..”
“I like it..” He craned his neck up to give you one of his cappuccino kisses, deep and sweet, but still humming with potential energy; those crooked fingers finding their way under the elastic of your panties to give your ass a firm squeeze.
He broke the kiss when he felt a warm flush radiate from your face, and brought his nose to trace the contours of your jaw until his breath fanned the hollow behind your ear, “I’d very much like to see it off of you..” You felt him grin against your neck, before his teeth sunk into it, pulling a gasp from you before you were able to stop it.
“I’m glad to hear I was not the only one who thought so..” A cool voice spoke up behind you, startling you only slightly.
What had you leaping from your skin was slender, icy fingers, creeping along your jaw above where Izuku had been nibbling. Shouto’s thumbs rested on either of your temples, the tips of his fingers beneath your chin; he tilted your head back to meet him. Izuku reflexively bucked against the friction your leaning provided.
“You look truly radiant, Angel..” Shouto spoke, before leaning down, and pressing a kiss to your lips, slow and tender, like water filling a stream as a glacier melts. When the kiss ended, your lashes fluttered, trying to uncross your eyes.
“Oh.. I’m sorry…” Your heart leapt to your throat.
“I didn’t realize we were starting with dessert…” Katsuki’s voice, already gruff on a normal day, had dropped into a much more commanding baritone. His hand fisted on his hip.
“Katsuki, I-”
“What’s my name?” Shouto’s hands found your shoulders while Katuski began his steady advance into the living room.
Your eyes darted away, hoping to hide the embarrassment coloring your face;
“D-Daddy..”
Izuku twitched beneath you, his hardening length straining uncomfortably against his shorts watching your cute face pink up and your voice grow flustered.
Katuski came to a stop in front of you, nothing but Izuku and the couch he sat on between the two of you. He caught your lip beneath his thumb, a curled finger tucked under your chin guided you to face him.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you, Princess.”
“Sorry, Daddy…”
“Are we feeling greedy today, baby girl?”
“N-no! I was just-”
His fingers unfurled, clutching the side of your neck, his thumb dropping to complete the hold at your throat, not yet applying pressure, but threatening to.
“Oh, so we’re lying now?” He purred malignantly.
You hadn’t noticed you had leaned forward until you felt Izuku’s warm tongue lick a path between your breasts, catching your breath in your throat.
“No..” The sound came out more like a squeak than actual speech.
“No?..” Katsuki craned his head back, looking down his nose through lidded eyes as he tapped his finger twice against your throat, a warning.
“No, Daddy.”
“Oh good, because you know what happens to liars in this house?” His grasp tightened slightly, making your mouth water.
Izuku perked up from your cleavage, “C’mon Kacchan, ask her again..” His teeth nipped at the flesh of your breast while Shouto’s fingers skated down your shoulders, catching the straps of your dress, and sliding them down your arms to bare your chest, “Yes, I think she’ll be much more forthcoming..” He agreed before you felt him replace your discarded straps with cool kitten licks against your shoulders.
He loosened his grip, “Alright…” You felt his thumb come up to trace your bottom lip again, “Your boys are vouching for you, Princess, so I’ll ask again…” You squirmed beneath his touch, shifting your hips against Izuku’s, making him toss his head back, sucking air through his teeth while Shouto’s hands and the straps of your dress held you gently in place.
“Are we feeling… greedy?” His face was inches from yours, a cheshire grin playing on his lips.
Your words were lost on your tongue, so you nodded against his palm and closed your eyes, only for them to fly open when you felt your mouth invaded by a thick, calloused thumb, which quickly found your tongue, and pressed it down.
“I think we can oblige that, don’t you boys?” He chided over your yelps and whines. Shouto’s teeth found the crook of your neck, and his fingers your nipples, Izuku gave a lust laden giggle while he chewed his bottom lip and watched the two of them work you as drool puddled in your mouth.
Katsuki echoed with a dark chuckle of his own, releasing your tongue from beneath his thumb, allowing you to suck it wantonly. He pulled it from your lips with a wet pop, and gripped the sides of your face,
“Strip, and get on all fours.” He growled.
Shouto backed up slightly to give you space to scramble out of Izuku’s lap to do as you were told. He pouted at the loss, and beckoned Shouto to take your place. Before he could, however, Katsuki tangled newly freed fingers in green curls, and yanked them back roughly, eliciting a moan from Izuku.
“Don’t think I forgot you started this, Deku.” Only Izuku’s panting breaths could be heard in response, accompanied by his wide, lopsided grin.
“Brat..” Katsuki snarled through gritted teeth., “Get on your back. Head between her knees.” He flicked a finger in your direction before stomping around the couch to greet your form, ready and waiting to be used.
You looked up at Katsuki towering over you, palming his cock through his sweats.
“Are you gonna make me feel good, baby?”
You nod, yet another wave of blood rushing to your cheeks, “Yes, Daddy..”
You startled a little, but spread your knees farther apart when Izuku settled beneath you, now shirtless, his scars and muscled torso on full display.
“Do you want Deku to make you feel good?” You looked down into deep green pools, shimmering with want. Izuku’s hands found your thighs again, and he nipped and licked at the flesh there.
“Uuh-huh!” You gasped, briefly disregarding protocol for the man between your knees monopolizing your senses.
“Do you want Deku to make you cum?”
“Y-yes..” Where was this going?
Katsuki pondered for a moment.
“Okay, Deku can make you cum. In fact..” He crouched before you, meeting your eyes, “I expect it.”
“Mmhm.” He continued, “I want you to cum, as much as you want, all over Deku’s face.” You looked down at Izuku’s face, his eyes were now blown wide, thin emerald rings encircling his pupils, which seemed to focus hazily on your face. Katuski stood.
“You can cum.” He repeated, “He cannot.” As though to emphasize his point, Shouto yanked down Izuku’s shorts, and settled himself between his knees.
“What?!” Izuku snapped, glaring upside down at Katuski.
“Shouto will see that he doesn’t, won’t you, baby?”
“Yes, Tsuki~” You hear from behind you. Beneath you Izuku shudders, eyes fluttering closed as Shouto starts the process of edging him out of his mind.
When you looked up, Katsuki’s cock was lolling out over the waistband of his sweats, veins running the length of it like super highways delivering blood. His hand found your hair and tucked it behind your ear,
“And you are going to see that I do. Won’t you, Princess?”
One palm caressed your hair, gathering it all in a ponytail at the back of your head; the other jerked his cock, crystalline beads of precum forming on the head of it. You nodded, letting your tongue hang out of your mouth, a viscous strand of drool rolling off the tip and onto your chest.
Having witnessed that spectacle, a hungry look darkened Katsuki’s features. He patted his cock against your waiting tongue, the salty precum almost bitter against your tastebuds. He rutted once.. Twice… three times against the flat of your tongue, before using his handle on your hair to sink you all the way down, your nose coming flush against his pelvis.
You gagged on his head, the force of his thrust knocked you back on your heels, only for your cunt to meet Izuku’s waiting tongue. You moaned around his cock as Izuku started lapping at you like he’d been starved for days.
Katsuki pulled himself from your mouth, saliva cascading down your chin as you spluttered and coughed. Before your tongue could find your words, Izuku’s lips found your clit.
“Z-Zuzu!” You gasped, your eyes squeezed shut, and your hands coming down to entangle themselves in his hair. Katsuki’s grip tightened on yours as he yanked your head back up to meet his face.
“Really? Am I gonna have to fuck that name out of your mouth?” His voice rumbled before he impaled your face on him again, and proceeded to fuck the back of your throat again and again.
You knew you’d be hoarse, even so, Izuku licked delicious moans from the pit of your stomach, one hand kneading your thighs, the other probably lost somewhere in Shouto’s hair.
Izuku laved over your sex, working in a methodical circuit between your folds, purling his tongue over your clit, and sinking into your dripping trench before returning to the beginning, repeating this ritual more quickly with each revolution, until he was almost hysterical, at which point his tongue would stammer against your skin, which was likely the point he would have cum if Shouto wasn’t responsible for curtailing such an event.
It was at that point, however, that your thighs trembled and clenched around his face. You ground into his lips and nose while you sucked feverishly at Katsuki’s cock. Izuku continued to work your cunt through your orgasm, swallowing every ounce of it that you gave him.
The feeling morphed into a pleasurable flavor of pain as you approached overstimulation. You bucked away to escape his tongue, only for him to plant both hands on your hips and pulled you hard against him, his vision tunneling on lapping up every drop of you.
You didn’t know you had started crying until the tracks on your cheeks had started to cool. You looked up at Katsuki through glistening lashes, his punishment on your throat also grew more frenzied.
“Gonna… Fill your… Pretty… Mouth… Fuck!” He came with a shout as he dumped hot ribbons of cum down your throat before pulling out of you unceremoniously.
You collapsed forward coughing, gagging, sobbing into your folded elbows as another orgasm ripped through you, from Izuku’s tongue, Katsuki’s rough treatment, the knowledge of Shouto torturing the former at the command of the latter...
“He almost came, that time, Tsuki..” Shouto mewled behind you.
“Oh yeah?” Katsuki hollered, eyes still trained on you as you worked his twitching cock back to life. Once he was satisfied, he walked out of your limited peripheral, still caved in to your release.
“Why don’t you save our girl, and I’ll give this cumslut what he really wants..”
As though on cue, lean, pale legs entered your view and knelt in front of you. You felt cold, refreshing hands smooth over your back and rump, and a mild voice floated into your ear,
“Can you sit up for me, darling?”
You nodded dazedly, but failed to move.
“Hey!” Katsuki barked. Next thing you knew, Izuku vanished from between your legs, granting you a reprieve from his entrenchment in your pussy, allowing your muscles to loosen, and your body to relax.
Shouto turned you over, and pulled your limp body into his lap, arms folded behind his neck, his arms wound around your waist in full view of your other two partners, Katsuki knelt between Izuku’s knees.
“Selfish brat!” His hand was at the nape of Izuku’s neck, pulling him firmly off the floor to look him in the eye. Izuku failed to focus on him, though, his disoriented gaze cast to the ether.
“Tch. Filthy slut.” Katsuki cursed, “You that cum-drunk? Just from a little face-sitting?” He pulled Izuku closer, and licked a trail across his lips, sampling the slick that coated them before releasing him back into a crumpled heap on the floor.
Izuku giggled unintelligibly, eyes drifting to the ceiling. Katsuki smirked, dick twitching at seeing his boyfriend, all mighty number one in such a state.
One of Shouto’s hands ghosted over your ribcage, softly palming your breast, the glacial touch perking your nipples and raising goosebumps over your chest and arms. His other slid down, avoiding your over-worked clit, instead teasing warm fingers at your slit. The difference in temperature quickly had you dripping again; your head fell back to rest against his shoulder, his lips at the shell of your ear while you both watched, transfixed on the power play between the two men.
“M’gonna fuckin’ obliterate you, Deku..” Katsuki spat through gritted teeth, rubbing the head of his cock up and down Izuku’s entrance, before sheathing himself in a firm, deep stroke. Both men cried out, Katsuki breaking into a sweat at the stimulation on his still sensitive cock.
“Dammn, Sho~ No wonder he almost came, so fucking gooned out...” Katsuki laughed, flush already rising to his cheeks as he gave a few tentative thrusts into Izuku, who panted uselessly beneath him.
“What can I say?” Shouto’s breath tickled your ear, “I’m good with my hands..” As though to emphasize his point, Shouto slid two slender fingers into your dribbling cunt, and curled them against your g-spot, coaxing a broken groan from your rubbed-raw throat.
“You moan so sweetly for me, baby…” His whisper raised the hair on the back of your neck, and you gasped, your hips moving on their own as they rocked against Shouto’s fingers, your pussy aching around them while you watched Katsuki pin Izuku’s hips to the floor, his cock fucking in and out of him.
“Missing something, love?” He smiled against your ear, his cock flexing against your back.
“Uh.. uh-huh…” You moaned.
He chuckled, and you were surprised when he moved his hand from your cunt to hook behind your knee, his other arm wrapped around your waist as he lifted you effortlessly over his cock, teasing you open.
“What do we say?”
“P-please, Sho..”
“Well, since you asked so nicely…” He dropped you down onto his throbbing cock, punching another hoarse moan from your lungs, but remained still.
“Sho..” You whined.
“Promise me something first, Angel..”
“Okay, what? Tell me.” You snapped, grinding your hips desperately to try to get any kind of relief.
His voice was in your ear; “Tell me when you’re about to cum.”
You nodding hastily, not realizing what you’d be agreeing to.
“Good choice…” He held your leg wide with one hand, fretting with your nipple with the other, and started thrusting into you from behind, your pussy choked down on his cock as he toyed with your body, his touch leaping through your nervous system like lightning.
Then the air was filled with the delicious sounds of you and Izuku being fucked. You struggled between closing your eyes to cope with the sensation of Shouto’s hands; each threatened to brand you or freeze you; and fixating on the increasing ferocity of Izuku and Katsuki’s entanglement.
You blinked, and Katsuki had one leg over his shoulder. You blinked again and he had both. Again, and Izuku’s hands were clasped around Katsuki’s neck, toes curling, fat, rolling tears cascading over freckled cheeks as he moaned wordlessly into the space between them, occasionally swallowed up by Katsuki’s lips.
Your cunt grew tight, your breathing ragged as you had fallen into a rhythm, fucking yourself on Shouto’s cock, succumbing to the heat almost scalding your thigh, the chill perforating the skin of your breast, you felt another orgasm rapidly approaching.
You chewed your lip, “Sho- Shouto..”
“Hah~ Yes Angel?”
“Mm- M’gonna- Ah~”
In an instant, Shouto slowed, dropping his arctic touch from your breast to your clit. He did not continue his ministrations, merely held his icy palm over your mound, halting your orgasm in its tracks.
“Shouto!~” You whimpered, one hand coming down to push futilely at his forearm.
“I’m sorry, Angel.. But I think that pleasure has been reserved.” He directed your attention back to Izuku and Katsuki.
“Kacchan!~ Kacchan!~” Katsuki’s familiar nickname fell from Izuku’s lips like a chant, Katsuki’s eyes flashed before throwing one final thrust, and cumming with a grunt, and a sadistic laugh as he stopped moving as well.
Izuku’s head fell back with a sob. If you didn’t know any better, you’d say..
“He hasn’t cum once since we started…” Shouto purred.
And you salivated.
Katsuki unsheathed himself, and stood, stumbling just a little, but strutting over effortlessly once he found his balance.
“I think he’s had enough, don’t you, Sho?”
“Yes, I think they’ve both learned a valuable lesson..” His teeth grazed your ear, showering a fresh wave of goosebumps over you.
“Then I say let them fix each other’s problems.” He waved his hand dismissively.
“And what about me, Tsuki?” Shouto pouted, tightening his arm over your waist, dick flexing inside you making you squirm, still sore from your ruined release; “I haven’t done anything wrong…”
“That so? I seem to remember things differently.”
“Wha-”
Katsuki’s fingers found your chin, and gently brought your face up to meet his, “I think Deku could use little help, Princess.. Think you could fix him for me?”
You nodded hesitantly, Shouto dropping your leg so you could crawl out of his lap and over to Izuku.
“No no..” Katsuki droned, “Stay where you are. I have plans for you, Icy Hot brat..”
You crawled on hands and knees to Izuku’s side, combing your nail through his hair, over his face, catching the few glittering tears that remained over his freckled cheeks with your thumb, before continuing down the column of his neck, flattening your palm against his chest before your tongue spilled from your lips and plunged into his mouth.
Your kiss seemed to bring him back to life, as he inhaled deeply, desperately through his nose, his hands curling themselves in your hair. He chewed your lips, sucked your tongue, maintained as much contact between your mouth and his until you had to pull away, a glistering strand of saliva connecting the two of you.
He was on you in an instant, reversing your positions so you hit the ground flat on your back, his lips on lips, your cheek, your chin, his velvet tongue painting long trails up the column of your neck and down your chest.
You craned your neck to see behind you. Though your perspective had them suspended from the ceiling, you saw Shouto, legs spread, eyes screwed shut as he fucked a rather bored looking Katsuki’s fist. You refocused on the verdette before you, endeavouring to devour you whole, planting your hands on either side of his face to pull him into another impassioned kiss.
Izuku boxed you in, densely muscled biceps on either side, scars laid out over his body like a road map over his heaving chest. He shoved his knee between your legs, and you ground your desperate cunt against his thigh thoughtlessly.
“Such a pretty girl.. So fucking pretty… and she’s all mine…” He babbled over you. He might have tried to tease you more, hold you down, make you beg, but by this point it would have been in vain, the way he was rutting his drooling, inflamed cock against your hip.
He was thick, and stretched you in all the right ways. You felt a wanton twinge in the pit of your stomach.
“Need you so fucking bad, Zuzu…Please..”
He roared into the crook of your neck, closed his teeth around it, surely leaving perforated bruises as a memento. He adjusted his aim, and crashed into you with abandon, chewing the inside of his cheek as your cunt took him so readily.
Your hands circled his neck, finding that familiar crook in his shoulders, your nails cutting stripes into his back, adding your own color to his canvas of scars.
“So good… so fucking good… Sweet Jesus, Izuku!~”
The praise fell on his ears and dropped straight to his cock. He pushed himself off the floor, and fucked you with slow, deep thrusts, watching your tits bound and jiggle with each collision. Your eyes rolled back, catching a short glimpse of a sweat sheened Shouto, tongue tasting his bottom lip, hips thrusting fruitlessly into air as Katsuki held his hand far away from his partner, that same sinister grin perking the corners of his mouth.
Your eyes fluttered closed to the sound of Shouto begging, “Tsuki, please!” before you wound your legs around Izuku’s hips.
“Gonna make me cum like that..” You whimpered into his ear.
He sat up, hands plastering themselves to your hips with brutal force as he pulled you onto him as hard as he pounded into you. The coil in your gut wound tight, the energy in your body reaching a fever pitch.
“God, fuck me like that!~” Your lips found their last mantra, which you cried out until you unravelled into white hot oblivion.
When you opened your eyes, you felt Izuku’s labored breathing against your neck after he caved in on top of you. You carded your fingers through his hair, and fussed idly with the curls as you tried to catch your own breath.
“Here, nerds..” You looked up to see Katsuki extending a water bottle to you while he finished chugging his own with his other hand.
You took it gratefully, nearly choking as you gulped it down while lying prostrate across the floor. Izuku protested your movement, clutching you closer to him while he nuzzled your neck sleepily.
“When you’re ready.. Well…” He glanced over at the man curled against you, “When he’s ready… Food’s done.”
“Oh shit!” You cursed, keeping your tone hushed so as not to startle Izuku, “Katsuki, I’m so sorry…”
He shrugged, “It’s cold soba.. What’s it gonna do, get colder?”
You chuckled, and asked “Where’s Sho?” before straining to look towards the couch to see a particularly contented Todoroki, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, cold soba in his lap.
You relaxed your neck, and let your own contentment wash over you as you buried your nose into veridian curls, and lost yourself in the scent of citrus and soap.
How’d you ever get so lucky?

It seems good to me that Horikoshi has decided that ED has this past with his father and in my opinion this does not make him look "soft" or that he justifies his actions on the contrary, this reinforces the personality and thoughts that we already knew about him. He himself said in today's chapter "that ugly heart of yours"
Yes indeed. I get the confusion, because honestly, the writing of this whole scene is a hot mess.
But one thing to me was clear - I feel like Enji's reaction to (his/the) father's death is some kind of mix of shame and anger about his father being weak and a loser and there is no admiration / understanding for his heroism.
Enji, instead of letting himself grieve and process, curses the weakness and tries to overpower it. He chooses a hero name that signals his aspiration to reach superhuman strength through sheer effort, he hides his emotions / grief behind a flashy show of power. The flaming beard apparently has a lot of symbolism. It's a mask Endeavor puts on to project strength, intimidation and eventually distance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Looking back to past chapters, it's interesting to see that while he trains / interacts with Touya without the flame-beard, with Shouto it is always on, and after Touya's death, Endeavor constantly hides himself behind his fire.
And in Touya's home-coming scene, there is a lot of focus on Endeavor's fire-covered eyes, how he got even more power-crazy. Touya was not wrong in that his father did abhor his weakness even if it connects back to Endeavor's own inability to face, process, accept his father's and his own weakness.
So to me, what stands out as significant in this chapter is that while his past self reminds him WHY he wanted to be strong, Endeavor switches off the flame beard. He stops pretending that he's someone he's not, he stops hiding his weakness, and I guess he's ready to let his heart fall to pieces.
Tumblr media
This is obviously not the big father-ending (yet) that we've been waiting for from Endeavor because it would be absurd if he could just punch his way out of it (after the whole High End fight showed him that he cannot). But possibly it's another step for him to truly face that fear he himself never properly faced, or to understand the heart driving his own father when he died such a "useless death" trying to save someone and failing.
Maybe, accepting his father's heroism - the heroism of someone weak - is something he needs to do before he can step up and just be a father rather than trying to project strength towards his family.
It's actually very ironic how Endeavor mentions Deku as an unattainable goal, because Deku is the person whose own origin moment is running against a villain with a backpack and no hope of victory. The ultimate heroism of the weak. And if All Might wasn't there, he and Bakugou would likely both have ended up dead just like the girl and Enji's father. But in the logic of the narrative, something so reckless and desperate is meant to be still a positive thing - because the heroism of the weak matters as long as the next person steps up and the chain is unbroken.
The entire group fighting here now is weak. Hawks is reduced to two swords and a handful of baby feathers, Jirou has a non-combat quirk and she's kind of helpless in the air, even Dark Shadow is at a disadvantage fighting in full daylight. But each of their actions matter and add up. It's not that they don't have a weakness, but they cover for each other's weaknesses.
So maybe if Endeavor accepts this truth in his own "ugly heart" and stops worrying about strength and power and being No 1, he's going to be able to look his children in the eye and just love them as they are - with that existentially terrifying knowledge that comes with being a parent; that life is fragile, and no matter how hard he "endeavors", he can't control it all through more power.
All he can do is face his weakness, his past, his sins, his grief and just "endeavor" to do what's right in the next moment.

katsuki, izuku, and shouto as types of doting dads
🌿 gender neutral!reader
🌿 sfw drabbles, lots of domestic fluff under the cut,
🌿  warning: bakugo swearing, of course
🌿 w.c: 1.2k (approx. 400 each)
🌿 a/n: thank u to my angel @mindninjax for naming katsu’s tiktok. sorry about the formatting, tumblr hates me.
Tumblr media
katsuki
Bakugo’s kids are not spoiled, fuck you for even insinuating it.
Bakugo’s kids get what they need.
And what they need is a four tier bento box, every school day.
Insulated, of course, because “they aren’t fucking animals.”
And what starts as Bakugo just being a very attentive father, grows into you recording him coming home from his early morning run and grumbling while he puts on the frilly, lemon yellow apron your kids got him for Christmas two years ago, which grows into him carefully arranging a camera setup over your kitchen countertops, “because you’re the shittiest director alive, dumbass.” Which leads to the tiktok account dine-amight, where Bakugo uploads his intermediate-level character bentos, full to bursting with perfectly seasoned rice balls shaped like All Might and Hello Kitty, star and moon shaped fruits and veggies and occasionally, when your kids beg for them, Bakugo’s famous rainbow mini pancakes.
And of course a pro-hero with a reputation like Bakugo doing anything domestic is worth coverage and acclaim, blowing the account’s followers into the hundreds of thousands in a week.
In fact, people are shocked that Bakugo can even find the time. But he’d do anything for your kids, do anything to see them bring home empty bentos, bragging about all the kids drooling over their lunches that day. Anything to watch their missing tooth smiles when he asks how they were.
And if that means a couple of extra grocery trips at the end of the week and really early morning runs and gentle kisses on your forehead while you mutter and shift in your sleep before he starts the rice cooker, then so be it.
“Katsuki, they are not going to eat caviar. They do not need caviar.” Honestly, you were less surprised he was dropping it in the cart and more surprised your local supermarket even carried it in the first place.
“They’ll eat whatever the fuck I give them.” He bites, pushing the cart just shy of too fast through the aisle, head swivelling back and forth for god knows what else. An elderly woman casts your husband a dirty look as he just barely swings the metal buggy to avoid her, to which Katsuki helpfully spits “Keep it movin’, hag!”
“They’re 10!”
“Doesn’t mean they need to choke down dry ass chicken nuggets and grape juice all day.”
Tumblr media
izuku
Birthday party dad, the absolute worst party dad. Thousands of dollars on his kids’ birthday parties. Princess parties, pirate parties, any theme your kids can gurgle about liking and Deku has pulled out his tablet and is putting a pinterest board together before you can remind him that the twins’ birthday was two months ago.
“We can get an early start on next year. What’ll you think it’ll cost to turn the pool into an ice rink?”
          “My sanity.”
        “Don’t be dramatic.”
Gets almost ridiculously bitter when the family across the street throws an All Might themed party when he knows, he fucking knows, they overheard him talking about throwing one for the boys months ago, But he is not changing his plan. Naw naw naw, your kids are gonna get their All Might party, they’re getting the All Might Party. Every single attendee is getting a vintage, tin All Might lunchbox stuffed to bursting with All Might merch; toys, branded candy only released in Sweden, keychains, those little retro bubble charms, anything he can cram in there. The yellow, red and blue bouncy castle he rented rivals the size of your house. And then, because there is not a soul on the planet pettier than your husband, he forces every pro hero he’s ever known to get in costume and take photos with the kids. He makes the one with the twins your yearly christmas card, then hand delivers it to the family across the street.
In October.
You bake apology pies for weeks.
“You know this is ridiculous right? Deku, she’s 2” you stress the number, pinching the bridge of your nose. “She isn't going to remember any of this.”
“I'm not listening, I didn't hear that, I am busy putting little princesses on cupcakes, a task you said you would help me with.” He’s grinning when he turns to you, and when you hold out your hand, he places a piping bag full of baby pink frosting in your open palm.
Together you hunch over the kitchen island to ice and decorate twenty-four strawberry vanilla cupcakes, nudging and snickering at each other’s lopsided princess figures until the two of you are smearing icing on skin and tossing edible glitter into hair.
Tumblr media
shouto
You know those “girl dads”? That’s Shouto. He takes her everywhere, takes pictures of everything that little girl does. School plays, holidays, playdates, you name it and there’s a dedicated, timestamped album that Shouto is begging to show every visitor, mailman and coworker.
He prints them out, and maintains an instagram account filled with his favourite daddy-daughter moments, updated. daily.
Nevermind that he hasn’t used his own personal account in 9 years.
His favourite thing is buying and wearing matching outfits, carrying her in one arm. “Yes, I know she can walk, she’s very talented, she can do anything. She just likes to be as tall as daddy is.”
Whenever he picks her up from school, your husband slides her sweet little coat on and gently secures her into her car seat, right where he can see her when he looks in the rearview mirror. Then, Shouto drives your daughter wherever she wants to go.
Wherever.
If it’s the zoo, they’re going, and they’re coming back with a gigantic, stuffed red panda to add to her own (not so little) plushie zoo at home. If it’s Starbucks, she comes toddling through the front door holding a VENTI, frozen hot chocolate frappuccino (no coffee, of course) and a brownie. Shouto asks them to make it special, he would never let her handle anything too hot.
“Shouto, stop. You’re gonna rot her teeth, she can’t even finish that.” Which is totally true, the cup’s as big as your daughter’s head. Not that she seems to mind, the way she hefts it up for you to see from the entryway while Shouto undoes her glittery blue shoelaces.
“I’ll finish the rest.” He shrugs, picking her up and plopping her down on the living room couch next to you, pressing a light kiss to the top of your head before shuffling off to hang up their identical winter coats.
He doesn’t even like chocolate.
“Why would she need a iPad?” You grab Shouto by his shoulders and make him look at you.
“For…school.” His voice is quiet and subdued and you almost feel bad...before you remember your husband is clutching an $800 tablet he intends to give your 6 year old kid to his chest in the middle of an electronics store.
“Baby...she’s in elementary school…They aren’t even using calculators yet.” You try to pry the package out of his grip, steadfastly ignoring the gentle downturn of Shouto’s mouth at the development.
“She’s very advanced for her age.” The frown is a full on pout by now and you shut it down as quick as you can.
“No. Uh uh. Put that bottom lip back in. Then put the tablet back.”
It’s wrapped in shiny purple paper by December 19th.

I think you may have talked about this before, but I was wondering what your ideal living situations for the LOV trio will be after the series ends? Touya will go and stay with his family I guess, but what about Shigaraki and Toga? Will they live with All Might or Aizawa or someone to get their footing back in the world? With mandatory hangouts with the kids and at the Todoroki residence of course (for some reason I've had the image in my head of Shigaraki on a bike with Toga behind him, and he just keeps ringing the bike bell over and over outside of Touya's window like hop on loser, we're going shopping...)
I have talked about it before but I always try to sugarcoat what I think will happen so people don't jump down my throat.
But, I'm beyond that now and I don't care. Plus my predictions really haven't changed since like...early 2021.
Let me start with saying that, yes there is always the possibility of the hospital ending, where the LOV get institutionalized to "heal", but I personally have a lot of issues with that and hope it doesn't go that way. And, for the reason I don't see it going that way, is that the readers (us) and the kids won't get to see the immediate payoff of their decision to save. It feels a bit too close to "oh try to keep it realistic!" Fuck realistic. Let them heal with the power of newfound friendship with the hero kids and family (for Touya). Jeez.
Anyway:
Touya:
Touya I think will go home. Plain and simple. I think he'll be with his siblings and his mom in the new house Endeavor built for them.
Toga:
I think Toga will end up at UA. I think there is more than enough existing content to lead up to this. Of course it could easily not, but again, these are my predictions.
Toga being the only villain who is high school age is an indicator. Toga being obsessed with the UA kids is another big indicator. Even after having found healthy bonds with the LOV members, she continues to reach out and try to get close to Ochacko, Deku, and Tsu. It's relevant enough to her character for the author to go out of his way to point it out in a volume extra, because he couldn't clarify it in the panels—
Tumblr media
—and then there is extreme unlikelihood that she and her family will want anything to do with each other ever again. There’s also the fact that this drawing now exists, as if to say “hey, what if? 🤔”
Tumblr media
I expect Toga to be integrated into the Deku friend group too. Like this is a canon friend group I 100% can and do see happening:
Tumblr media
The jump festa drawing basically showed me my vision without me even asking 😂. So I think there is a lot of precedent set for her to end up at UA, under Aizawa's watch* (expanded on below).
Shigaraki:
Shigaraki I think will be another Eri situation. Aizawa gives him a place to stay and slowly heal at his own pace at UA, but also contribute to and participate in life things. I think this is the most ideal and also likely, because in this scenario he's around Midoriya and Bakugo. Given Midoriya's track record of keeping relationships with the people he reaches out to and saves (Bakugo, Shouto, Kouta, Eri), I don't think Shigaraki will be an exception to this. And I expect having Midoriya around is gonna be an integral part of his healing journey anyway. I always expected that from the get go, and that hasn't changed. I expect him, Bakugo, and Midoriya to have a life long friendship also. I think we'll see that it happens.
Also, another small little detail I find kinda funny, Shigaraki is also kinda fixated on UA? Lol, he watched the sports festival, which is fine, but what's funny to me is that during the Re-Destro fight he went out of his way to quote their fucking motto 😂:
Tumblr media
Literally why quote a high school that you never attended, your most hated icon/idol/symbol teaches at, and that your nemesis attends. If not to just, live for it in the moment LOL. Like....just more little hints that he wants to be a part of the bigger, acceptable part of society. It's just funny.
**Okay, following up on Aizawa. Sigh. We're still waiting for the manga to touch on this. But this whole speech here is just so on the nose:
Tumblr media
"You have to fight" is exactly something that needs to be said to the LOV between the being saved, and the ending the war. They need to be told what Aoyama here is being told, before everything concludes.
Then this:
Tumblr media
It's exactly something that needs to be said to the LOV at the end, after all is said and done. It's the perfect speech they need to hear, right before they start their lives again and head into the scary unknown, in their new environment, with new people, new circumstances. It's just....too perfect.
The fact that it was Aizawa who was the one to say it, to Aoyama who is feeling loads and loads of regret, and feeling irredeemable and hopeless, and the fact that Aizawa briefly thought of Kurogiri during this speech, all of this is what leads me to expect Aizawa to play this type of role at the end.
And then, a less credible reason but still worth noting imo--Aizawa's clear, obvious, blatant inspiration character from Naruto:
Tumblr media
--played this role EXACTLY. Played the "you're pardoned, but don't fuck it up" role. He's the one who gave the "Normally you'd be punished, but the only reason we're all alive is because of you, so you get another chance" speech. So like...I expect nothing differently from Aizawa lolol.
For the LOV in general, I absolutely expect everyone to keep in contact with each other. I've said it over and over and over and ov--
I've said it a million times but I expect an FMA-esque ending where we see that everyone got their own happy ending, but also stayed in each other's lives.
Anyway those are my predictions and what I hope for. I'm gonna save this post so that I can come back to it later and see how accurate or off it turns out to be lol.

for want of a bento box
Tumblr media
– It’s plain and simple, you see, someone is stealing your bento boxes and you will find your lunch thief! Or, in which Todoroki Shouto keeps taking your bento box and you declare war.
⋄⋆⊹⋄⋆⋄⋆⊹⋄⋆⋄⋆⊹⋄⋆
pairing: todoroki shouto x reader
warnings: fluff, cursing, shouto is a bad chef, I believe I made reader pretty gender neutral but I whipped this out in two hours and I can no longer remember if I used any fem!pronouns but im pretty sure I didn’t
word count: 3,060
a/n: this is for the wonder coworker bnharem collab! I had intended on writing a completely different theme and storyline but was very overwhelmed by how much time it actually needed to be written compared to the amount of time I actually had. that version will be out another time! but for now, enjoy some pure flufffffff!!!!
⋄⋆⊹⋄⋆⋄⋆⊹⋄⋆⋄⋆⊹⋄⋆
Having a normal, functioning, well-paying job was probably the most desirable thing to you. It wasn’t to say that you were slacking or that you were homeless, broke, and never to be seen again because you were that in debt. But it was nice having a job!
When you entered the prestigious Toshinori Company, you joined not as an entry-level job employee but as a senior representative. You thought it was crazy.
It had to be crazy.
You had no prior experience, and now you were going to be in charge and the lead in certain areas?!
“And that was the entire layout of the office!” Mina chirped happily, throwing herself onto the desk chair across from yours with a big smile. “Any questions?”
“I don’t think so,” you mutter, brows creased as you look around the room again.
The office space was ample, sleek, open. Each desk has its own grand computer that you currently could not afford with your own money, comfortable chairs, and beautiful wood desks. It was elegant, far superiorly fancy, and yet, you didn’t feel out of place. Strange.
“Oh!” you say with a roll of your eyes as you reach below your desk to bring up your packed lunch. “Where was the break room again? I need to refrigerate my food!”
“Omg, of course, come this way!” Mina grins, standing up and motioning you to follow her. You smile gratefully and do.
The entire way to the office, Mina takes the time to point at the many different people on the floor and give them names. Everyone so far had sort of acknowledged you earlier as Mina was giving you the official tour. Some were much more open and friendly, and some had sneers or blank stares that left you dumbstruck.
Definitely a personable group.
“Hm, well, I guess Todoroki-kun isn’t here today?” Mina mutters as you enter the break room that has couches and comfortable-looking chairs. “Such a shame! You would have loved to see the office hottie!”
You snort at that, lips curled into a granulous smile as you place your plastic container with food into the fridge. “I’m sure I’ll live,” you brush off the fact that there was an absent person on your floor today.
“That’s the thing, though,” Mina points a finger at you, a lone eyebrow raised and a confident smirk on her face. “You won’t be thinking that again the moment you see him!”
You laugh, eyes crinkling as Mina joins your laughter. Eventually, she motions for the both of you to leave, and you nod in understanding. And with a weird sense of comfort and belonging, you realized that this job was going to be good.
.
.
Eventually, you had been working at Toshinori Company for two months.
Sixty-two days to be precise, and in all that time, you had only met Todoroki Shouto once. Even then, you had only seen the man walking through the office with a blank face, fingers in his pockets as two other men were walking in front of him, bickering lightly.
Had Mina not quite literally thrown herself across the table and gripped the collar of your shirt and twisted your head to look at him, you would have never caught a glimpse at the man with red and white hair. The three of them walked into the break room and came back out with their own lunches before leaving.
And that was it.
You had learned that the three of them (Todoroki Shouto, Midoriya Izuku, and Bakugou Katsuki) were within your department but worked very closely with the very high up members within the company. Many rumors pointed at one of the three taking over the company when the current CEO stepped down. They were, however, on the roster for your floor; they just never appeared except to pick up their lunches. Something they seemed to come to grab whenever you were a) way too fucking busy or b) not in the room.
You weren’t too bothered, though.
It wasn’t like you were trying to date one of them! You had only wanted to say hi.
.
.
.
Now, at ninety days, you had your first and probably most crucial evaluation.
Toshinori Yagi, the man who founded and currently ran this company, sat before you, looking at papers within a folder with tired but kind blue eyes. He nodded, impressed (hopefully), making small comments about the work you had been able to accomplish, a smile becoming a warming grin as he looked up.
“I’m impressed by the performance you’ve managed to attend to despite the short while you’ve been here, y/l/n-shojo,” Toshinori spoke, his fingers threading together and placing them onto the table. “I knew it was an excellent decision to put you in that position, and you exceeded my entire expectation!”
You flushed at that, lips twitching as you attempted to suppress that smile of yours.
“Thank you, Toshinori-san,” you practically wheeze as he waves off your thanks.
“No need to thank me, you’ve done all this work!” he laughs, tired eyes closing with a glorious supply of crow's feet blooming at the corner of his eyes. “Typically, at these evaluations, I ask a bunch of questions because there isn’t too much anyone can do in their first ninety days, I must admit.”
“Oh?”
“Mhm, but because I am curious, is there anything that has been happening as of late that you feel needs to be addressed with me?”
You felt yourself stiffen but knew your one and only complaint was not something to bring up in this setting.
“No, nothing,” you shrug, and Toshinori beams.
“I’m glad!”
Now, the problem.
The big, fat, stinky, hooligan, wanting to throttle someone problem.
For the past sixty of your ninety days, someone has been stealing your lunch.
Yes, you heard that correctly; someone was stealing your damn lunch! Every morning you woke up and prepared a delicious bento box for yourself. Some days you went as far as cutting shapes into your fruits and veggies just to make yourself grin. You weren’t the best chef in the world, but your bento boxes were pretty enough to make up for it, in your opinion. But the thing is, every day when you went into the communal fridge, you noticed two things.
One, your bento box was no longer in the same place, and two, the bento box was not yours at all.
The food was disastrously organized. Rice and lettuce spilling out in every partition in the box. The fruit and veggies often packed in this box had multiple cuts in them, implying that whoever did this was less than ideal with a knife. The meat was often oversalted, the sushi never sitting together, and everything was just… not it.
The first time you had sighed and eaten it, grumbling about how your precious lunch was stolen. But you had quickly figured out that it was inedible, and Mina, Uraraka, and Yaoyorozu thank god, offered to share their meals.
Seeing that you were distressed about how someone stole your egg and octopus sausages one day, Mina declared that they would watch the break room for whoever was stealing your light blue bento box. The first day you staked out, you had done it with Mina. But ten minutes into waiting around, you needed to pee. So you stood up and left in a hurry, leaving Mina alone.
But when you returned, Mina was gone, instead standing by Kirishima’s desk with a bright grin and a stance that screamed that she heard something she liked (gossip, possible in-office romance, a love confession?). Her jaw dropped as she noticed you and Kirishima had turned and waved in your direction as you raced into the break room to open the fridge, and sure enough, your bento was gone.
The next time, you staked out with Uraraka. Your arms were folded, your bladder cleared, and your lips twisted into a pout as you glared and stared down every single member who entered the room. Uraraka whispered to you her guesses about just who might be the thief, every other person rating an 8/10 likelihood of stealing your lunch.
But as the both of you sat there, your eyes narrowed at each passerby, no one came to collect your bento today.
“Deku-kun, no packed lunch today?” Uraraka asked as the green, curly-haired man you had only met once previously raced into the break room, grabbing the extra chopsticks meticulously hidden in the third bottom draw.
“Ah, Uraraka-san, y/l/n-san! Uh, no,” Midoriya greeted you both, who apparently responds to the nickname Deku, laughs off as he grabs a handful of napkins. “Todoroki-kun left all our lunches in his car by accident, and well… they spoiled… Kacchan’s pissed, so I ran off to get lunch for us today!”
Uraraka laughed, shaking her head, “Leave it to Todoroki-kun to act that way.”
Midoriya laughed, bright and clearly in agreement, “You should have seen his face when Kacchan asked for his lunch! I swear–”
“HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GRAB FUCKING CHOPSTICKS, SHIT-KU! I’M FUCKING STARVING!” a voice roared from nowhere near the entrance of the break room. You did, however, jump a bit, eyes turning toward the break room entrance to see the blond man (Bakugou? Kacchan? You had no idea which was correct) near the entrance of the floor.
“It’s only been a minute, Kacchan, relax!” Midoriya laughs, completely unaffected by the startling shout as he waves goodbye to both you and Uraraka before leaving, joining Bakugou as the both of them seem to talk comfortably… well, maybe more like bickering.
“Why are they–”
“Childhood friends, apparently,” Uraraka sighed, but the smile on her face betrays her exasperation.
No one stole your bento that day.
Yaoyorozu took up the third stake out, the two of you idly chatting about tea. You honestly had no idea what to talk about with Yaomomo; she was often just so elegant and mature despite being your age. When you learned that her family was in charge of the Yaoyorozu Corp, it had been strangely easy to accept that.
It made sense.
So as the two of you stood at the kitchen sink, boiling water for tea Yaomomo swore would be the best matchup for your packed nigiri, the both of you missed the man who walked into the room, opened the fridge, and took your lunch.
“I… I am so sorry,” Yaomomo apologized, head bowed dangerously low as the both of you looked at the sloppily cut salmon in your not actual bento. “Please eat my food in reparation.”
“No, it’s okay,” you sigh, chewing on the somehow still warm salmon. “I deserved this loss.”
Luck was just on this man's side, it seemed. No matter what you did, you could never catch the man in action, and you were ready to give up.
But this was the last attempt you said to yourself as you returned to your office floor, the evaluation done, and the rest of your life coming to light. You could do this. No! You WOULD do this!
.
.
“Why don’t you just put your name on your bento box?” Bakugou asked, a lone eyebrow raised in what you could only assume was judgment and pity. The explosive man was standing in the doorway of the breakroom, watching as you and Mina were trying to climb up the counters of the breakroom to grab the camera you had previously planted. “Obviously, it doesn’t have your name on it.”
“Um,” you squeak, having been obviously caught by someone who intimidated you just the slightest bit. “That’s a good idea, thank you, Bakugou-san.”
“Tch, whatever, just clean up the damn counters, fucking nasty standing up on there. Some people prepare their food there.”
“We would never forget to do that!” you argue, desperate to not leave a bad impression on this man.
“I don’t know much about you, but I know raccoon eyes over there would.”
“MY NAME IS MINA!”
“Like I care.”
He left without so much as a wave but did seem to nod with his departure. You sighed as you hopped off the counter, Mina grabbing the cleaning supplies as she cursed out the long-gone man under her breath.
But you were looking at the fridge with your missing bento box.
“I can’t believe I never put my name on it.”
“It’s okay! Not even Yaomomo thought of it, so I say we are still smart!”
.
.
.
It was the next day, you were at your desk, anxious as hell as you did your work, trying not to focus on the fact that it was lunchtime and you were actively avoiding the break room. You wondered if they wouldn’t come and collect it today. If somehow they were an asshole and wouldn’t care if your name was on it! What would happen then? What if it was someone like Bakugou who was taking your lunch? What then? You were sure you would cave in slight fear and major intimidation if he said that your lunch was his now.
“Want a cutie while we wait, cutie?” Mina asked, waving the small tangerine in her fingers as she grins.
“Please,” you say in gratitude for the food because you were starving. “Thank you.”
Eventually, you lost track of what was happening, becoming all too invested in the conversation that Mina was telling you about that involved Kaminari, Kirishima, Bakugou, Midoriya, twenty-seven Red Bulls, fifteen Monsters, and five shots of sake. It seemed that the former two were quite big instigators when they wanted to be, and the latter two were unable to back away from challenges, especially when the other was involved.
“Y/l/n?” an unfamiliar voice called from behind you, and you turned partially in your chair as you looked behind you.
Standing behind you was a tall man with red and white hair, and from this distance, you noticed immediately that his eyes were a deep grey and brilliant blue.
Todoroki Shouto.
“T-Todoroki-san!” you greet him back, voice unable to keep from trembling as your nerves shot up. What was going on? You two had never interacted before! He was always gone, never present, and whenever he was in the office, it seemed that you weren’t there.
He cleared his throat and raised up two identical bento boxes.
“It seems… I have apparently been stealing your bento boxes,” he concludes, pressing the blue bento box with your name written on it into your hands.
Your jaw drops as your fingers curve around the cool plastic, eyes blinking up a storm as you try to abstain from laughing high pitched and ugly like.
“It was you?!”
A pink color blooms onto his cheeks as he averts his eye contact with you and nods slowly, “I am so sorry.”
“I just… how?!” you exclaim, exasperated, this man obviously being a bit dense if he had no idea he was taking your bento box!
“I prepare my bento boxes the night before, and I don’t really remember what I put into them….” Todoroki explains slowly, his hand rubbing the back of his neck, his tongue clicking the roof of his tongue. “I just thought that my cooking was improving and that I was somehow doing an amazing job.”
The grin that overcomes your face is one of subtle, strange fondness and soft warmth. “I can tell you that you probably haven’t improved much,” you tease, opening your bento box to see your prepared meal for the day.
Cucumber salad, bulgogi beef, rice, and some fruit.
It was packed exactly how you remembered.
“I can’t believe I finally get to eat a meal I prepared,” you continue to tease, your eyes moving up to meet Todoroki, who was also looking at your bento previously. “Thank you for returning my meals and apologizing.”
“It was nothing,” Todoroki waved off with a single hand before opening up his own disastrously assembled bento box. It looked worse than usual today. Everything was just thrown in, it seemed. You saw egg and rice, but everything else in there was indescribable. He smiles at you before sighing at his bento. “This looks more like my stuff.”
You laugh, shaking your head, “You want to share my bento box? I’m sure you probably don’t want to return to that.”
“No, it’s okay,” Todoroki gently declined, although he looked at your bento with great want. He cleared his throat, gaze moving to lock on yours, and you swore his cheeks were still pink but no longer from embarrassment. “I just wanted to come and apologize for stealing your lunch for so long and to thank you for the meals; they were all delicious. Especially the soba you had made.”
“It’s all good; it’s in the past now,” you say gently, somehow finding yourself falling for a man you’ve barely just begun to talk with. The both of you stare at each other, and your skin feels warm. You chuckle, gaze averting for a moment before returning as you tease him. “Although, if you steal from me again, I’m not so sure if I’ll be so lenient.”
“It won’t happen again, promise,” Todoroki smiles, and you feel your spine melt. “But I would love to make it up to you somehow. I can make you dinner one night or something?”
You laugh, head shaking, “No, absolutely not; I don’t trust your cooking skills just yet. But you can definitely take me out to dinner.”
“Yeah, I can definitely do that,” Todoroki agrees, and the both of you fall silent as the shy stares continue. “Does, um is Friday at seven okay with you?”
“That works,” you say, and Todoroki smiles.
“Good, I’ll uh, see you then?”
“See you,” you agree with a sweet smile before turning around, your fingers raised in a small wave.
You turn to see Mina, Uraraka, and Yaomomo staring at you, eyes comically wide and so very intrigued.
“Oh… my… GOD!” Mina shrieked as Todoroki walks away, and you shriek as she jumps across the table and shakes you, screaming about office romances and meet-cutes being entirely too underrated. “PROMISE ME I’LL BE INVITED TO THE WEDDING!!!!”
“MINA!”
.
.
.
.
.
It would take about three years of dating, several months of teaching Shouto how to cook, which resulted in a few bellyaches. Still, eventually yes, Mina would be invited to your wedding.

Ochako, the Dilemma with Vol Covers: thread
Tumblr media
The unfairness of self-aware author...
History
So, the most surprising thing here is that Ochako, despite being the so-called main heroine of the story has appeared in just COUNTED 3/33 covers!!
Insane right?
The volume covers in which she has appeared are as follows:
Vol 4: Nothing significant, just standing in a group with all SF students, and even if there was a chapter dedicated to her battle with Bakugo that could have appeared on the cover, Todoroki's plot stole the whole next cover.
Tumblr media
Vol 12: Just a very minor appearance behind Deku. You wouldn't even tell if she's the main heroine or a side character. This is the Vol where she had an encounter with Toga and her big moment was giving up her feelings for Deku to become a better hero. It is also one of the least famous Vol covers so far. Many people don't even remember it.
Tumblr media
Vol 33: And very-very surprisingly, after 20 freaking Volumes of negligence, we have Ochako on Vol 33, Mic in hand, tears in eyes and featuring in probably the best Volume cover so far.
Tumblr media
If she wasn't looking so gorgeous, I would have been mad. Like SUPER MAD!!
Which I still am, BECAUSE EVEN SIDE CHARACTERS LIKE LEMELLION, JIROU, GENTLE CRIMINAL AND EVEN LADY NAGANT GOT THEIR SOLO COVERS!!
And when Vol 33 was about to come out, many people were speculating that Ochako will get a solo cover too, but she didn't.
And even these numbers are even more garbage when you compare it with Bakugo or Shouto or even All Might while we're still at it...
Let's count!
Bakugo:
11 Vol COVERS!!
2 SOLO COVERS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3 with him as FOCUS (like half page dedicated to him alone)
Shouto:
1 SOLO COVER
Tumblr media
6 VOLUME COVERS (focus in most of them)
All Might:
Tumblr media
1 COVER WITH 90% FOCUS
1 SOLO COVER
5 VOLUME COVERS (total)
So I guess the math is pretty obvious.
But now let's count the SOLO covers for now (+ Counting those covers too that have a character as 70-90% focus to be a solo cover):
Vol 1: All Might
Vol 5: Shouto
Vol 7: Bakugo
Vol 11: All Might (again, 2)
Vol 14: Overhaul
Vol 15: Deku (finally)
Vol 17: LEMELLION
Vol 19: Jirou
Vol 21: Endeavour
Vol 25: Shigaraki
Vol 29: Bakugo (again, 2)
Vol 30: Dabi
Vol 32: Lady Nagant
And ya know what, even Momo has more appearance and cover focus than Ochako. She has appeared in Vol 4, 8, 19, and 22 with Vol 8 having her in the center because that vol included her Rising chapter.
Tumblr media
And then there was Kirishima, who got his big unbreakable plot in the Overhaul arc. Now, another interesting fact to know here is that Team Ryukyu's battle in the same arc was never shown. It was sacrificed finished off-screen just to give Team Fatgum and LEMELLION the moments they deserve and look what happens, they both get separated covers of their own, first Team Fatgum and then Lemellion, and then there was enough space to make a cover for Deku and Overhaul in the next arc too.
So the answer is again pretty clear.
Do badass sh*t for 2-3 chapters and get a solo cover (but Ochako was screaming from rooftops for 2-3 chapters straight and caused a big impact on the story) except when you're Ochako.
Is there any particular reason this keeps happening?
Yes, as a matter of fact, there is a big reason why Ochako doesn't appear on the covers all that often. Because "her role in the story always gets outshined by her fellow heroes".
Take Momo for example, who got a Rising chapter at almost the beginning of the series, or Bakugo and Todoroki who first get their Origins and after Volumes of development, get a RISING chapter.
Has Uraraka gotten a Rising chapter yet?
No.
Has her quirk awakened yet?
No.
But the thing is, even when Ochako does show some development, it is sidelined for the sake of other heroes. Vol 22 is probably the biggest example of this unfairness as she was the one who saved Deku from her BW.
It was technically a RISING chapter for her.
She even got her backstory, hero ideals, and straight-up MVP role for this match. She KOed 3/5 members of the opposing team and yet she's neither a part of vol 21, 22, or 23.
This is even more disappointing when you know that Toga also unlocked her quirk and she did it back in the MVA arc! And now she's getting her own cover on the GIGA JUMP. Good for her though.
And the author is pretty self-aware of this unfairness...
Tumblr media
Translation:
Trivia: Deku and Ochako have almost the same faces.
I really wanted to include Ochako in the volume cover this time but the draft was already jam-packed. Sorry, Ochako!
C'mon Horikoshi, we've seen the cover. It wasn't that jam-packed. There is always space for one more character. Plus, she had an important role in this volume, so if you really wanted to include her, you could have just replaced her with another character, simple!
But anyways, Ocha getting outshined is nothing new. Probably, also one of the few reasons why she appears more on the back covers and Chapter covers instead.
The plight of a lead heroine in a shonen manga, freaking 3.
