Kid Philip: HE FINDS THEM BLECKY! To him, they're cursed and the devil's food. Into the fire place they go. He might squash the pumpkin ones for fun, and he may change his opinion on them a little if he tried the harvest ones or the s'mores ones lol.

while it is funny to joke about, there really is something special to three separate couples (across two campaigns) confessing their love at caleb's tower, right?

and in a way, it's not surprising. widogast's nascent nein-sided tower is the culmination of months and months of work from caleb. he thought of every single nook and cranny. his love for his friends and family is built into every single inch (yes, even the eighth floor). it is a home. it is a refuge. it is filled with love. caleb built the tower with the intention of protecting his family after they were taken (before he even called them family- let alone friends). and it did. it protected them and sheltered them and let them express themselves.

is it any wonder every couple has felt safe and cared for and given the space to be able to share their feelings with the one they love?

Edit: Sooooo,, this wasn’t meant to have two panels originally,, the first panel was meant to be the only one and wanted to just have the implication of Bine expecting their little warrior. This last panel was actually partially inspired by the fanfic “Moment’s Like These” by ConsiderTheLiliesOfTheField on ao3! I highly recommend the read! 🥹💜✨ The pose was actually inspired by the tranquil moment between the mom and dad in "A Quiet Place" and really love this final outcome! Much better than the initial sketch.

As for the little sabezra children, Mira Bridger-Wren and her little brother, Caleb Tris Bridger-Wren (just my own little interpretations of SE children 💜)✨ A nice and warm cuddle with the whole family, Sabine and Ezra’s little Jedi-Mando Warriors 💜🧡

Caleb is overall more supportive of his kids and his first action would be hugging them. He'd begin trying to understand them and their sexuality and gender identity better. It's a bit difficult grasping it all at first but he manages. He has Evelyn who has all the patience in the world with him, he has friends like Ahana and the Bowers - it makes it easier. He realizes there's no big, complicated matter behind it, it's just there and always has been and he's always loved his kids - the only difference is that they are simply able to voice their sexuality or gender identity as they get older and understand themselves better.

At some point he starts making puns and dad-jokes about it and his kids always roll their eyes but they also like it whenever he does those and laugh along.

I once said Caleb would get to a point where he'd make a cake or something and put stuff like "My kid is trans. I'm trans-parent." on it. And that's the type of vibe you need to imagine lol
