"Sometimes I wonder whether I can truly change this city . . . But then when I think of you . . . it's as if all my doubts have faded away."
This quiet murmur that falls from Nadia's lips is the first thing you hear once you wake up. Still bleary eyed and tired yet you welcome the sight of her vermilion eyes shining down with adoration. Affection gnawing at your heart, urging you to greet her. A smile ghosts your lips as you push yourself up on your elbows to place a gentle kiss on her lips. Nose brushing against one another as your low lidded eyes drinks in her beauty. She seems to be doing the same. "Hmm am I truly that breathtaking?" You joke while brushing a strand of hair away from her face. Not letting anything hide her beauty.
"Enough to distract you from all your fears and doubts?" You muse with a grin and she chuckles. Bumping her forehead against yours, hands slowly pushing you back down, and quiet as a mouse you let her do so. "Of course, my love, do you doubt it?" She chuckles at your silly questions. "You're more important than any of my fears or doubts. When I think of you . . ." A blush begins to dust her cheeks, eyes darting away. "I can't help but feel this deep-rooted sense of peace washing over me. As if everything will be okay once I find you again." A sigh of contentment falling from her lips when you pull her closer. With the date of the masquerade ball drawing closer and closer, you had witnessed firsthand just how stressful planning a big event really is . . . Of course, it's not like you were completely clueless about it before, it's just a different story when all of Versuvia must enjoy it. That's alot of people. So many demands and wishes. So many traditions to uphold, but many that serve as a warning. Overindulgence. Greed. Apathy . . .
Yet admist all of this, you find yourself admiring Nadia even more now. The hussle and bussle of the castle never taking your eyes away from her. Her attention to detail, her dedication to her job as countess and her quick decision making is inspiring to say the least. Isn't she amazing? Her ability to keep a cool and level-headed approach no matter the mess up only grew the admiration you had of her. "You really are magnificent . . ." Is what you'd often say to her. But she'd always wave the compliment off. "Not as radiant as you my dear." You can't say you agree with her, but her gaze leaves little to dispute. However, if there is something everyone can agree on . . . Is just how tenacious she actually is.
You just wish she didn't work herself to the bone. That she'd accept the help offered to her . . . Your help at the very least. But she doesn't, she never does. But what she can never quite fully resist, is a warm cup of tea and some alone time with you. She loves you even more for combining the two for your morning ritual.
And so that is usually how you'd coax her to stay in bed just a little longer. Cuddled in her arms or her snuggling into you is how most mornings are spent together. "Just stay five more minutes until the tea arrives pleaseeee Noddy!" . . . She knows your games but entertains them, nonetheless. Mostly because she can't help it. She can't help adoring you and all your silly little antics. Especially not when you insist of asking for biscuits as well so you can feed them to her and spoil her appetite for breakfast in the process. But she's not complaining. Why would she when your soft warm hands are holding her so close? Why would she when for once there is someone taking care for her? Just her and her alone~

Estelle Ilson Wizarding World Alphabet
~~~ Here I am again sharing more info about my MCs, starting with Estelle Ilson! I plan to do Cael's shortly after, but I love these templates to add more info. I hope this isn't too sudden or overwhelming, lol Credit to @dwellinginsilence for this blank template! ๐ชWizarding World Alphabet๐ช
๐Animagus:ย Estelle is a true Hufflepuff of hard-working and loyalty, and her animagus form perfectly reflects that with her being a Badger! She's fiercely defensive of her loved ones and friends, and she's a very determined and ambitious person. Just like a badger :]
๐ฑBoggart:ย If it's her irrational fear, it would probably be an acromantula as she hates spiders. If it were a more mature fear, it would be herself with pain extracted like Isidora, but it makes her more apathetic and villainous.
๐Class:ย Her favorite classes are Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts. She loves Potions as it makes her think of baking, and she's been baking since she was 8 (that's a bit of a long story). DADA of course is also her favorite as she aspires to be an Auror to help bring justice to more dark wizards. Not to mention she loves to duel, especially with Sebastian, hehe.
๐Dark Magic:ย Estelle doesn't really like Dark Magic. She doesn't mind dangerous spells like Confringo and Bombarda, but she does not like the Unforgivables for sure. And after the events in 5th year, she is even more against it when she was hesitant at first.
๐Expecto Patronum/Patronus:ย The first time she ever tried the Patronus Charm, it was during the sixth year. Her patronus is a grey wolf that represents a certain freckled Slytherin boy since I do headcanon Sebastian to be a (grey) wolf Animagus.
๐งนFlying:ย Estelle likes flying, but she wasn't in the mood to try out for Quidditch. She does like watching her brother, friends, and her eventual boyfriend play Quidditch, though. She does have an affinity to riding a Thestrel, as she doesn't mind the "ominous" creatures.
๐Game team:ย She is loyal to her friends, and also her House, so she just stays neutral and enjoys watching the games for fun.
๐ House:ย She's a Hufflepuff of course, but a part of her fun side personality is what made the Sorting Hat work with her for a little bit longer.
๐ตImperio:ย She doesn't care for Unforgivables, especially after seeing them at work. Not to mention, she hates manipulation, so this curse really rubs her the wrong way.
๐ผJob:ย She wants to be an Auror. Duelling is one of her best skills, and she wants to use it for a good reason. Not to mention, she wasn't too pleased with how Officer Singer handled things, lol, so she is determined to help change the justice system for the better.
๐Kiss:ย She never kissed anyone growing up. She didn't really have time, nor managed to have a fancy last long. Then she got to Hogwarts, and she kissed Sebastian's cheek when they departed at King's Cross after 5th year. Their first kiss later happens in the spring of 6th year when they finally confess to each other.
๐ง Legilimancy:ย She learned Occlumency before being an Auror, not wanting any dark wizards looking into her head and see her thoughts and memories.
๐Magical beasts: She loves thestrels and nifflers, but also the phoenix she and Cael found and rescued. She loves all of their magical creatures they rescued, actually, but she is most partial to Omen the Thestrel.
๐N. E. W. T./OWL:ย 5th year was insane for her and Cael, but she doesn't let that stop her from being a good student. She takes the OWLs, and she did the best in Potions and DADA with "Outstanding" with Divination being the worst with "Poor". Everything else ranges in "Exceeds Expectations" and "Acceptable".
๐ฆOwl:ย So, Estelle is fascinated by things that aren't the norm. Instead of an owl, she gets a bat, lol. She names him Dusk, and he's a fruit bat. Dusk is very chill, and she loves to have him perched like a falcon....If a falcon hung upside down, haha. She hugs him plenty, and he bleps like a cat.
๐ฑPlant:ย She doesn't mind magical plants, but she will always love lavender flowers. She's loved the smell of them ever since she was a child, and she loves adding lavender to her biscuits (cookies). It's her trademark baked good.
๐Quidditch:ย She....missed try-outs in 6th year, and by the time 7th year try-outs happened, she didn't care to play. She much preferred just watching.
๐ญRemember:ย Her best memory was probably when she and Cael were taken in by Professor Fig. They were raised in an orphanage, and no one ever wanted to adopt the twins before, so Fig meant a lot to her, and Fig started to become a father to the two of them. Estelle often thinks back on the short time she got to know Fig and sadly smile at the fond memories.
๐ฉธStatus:blood:ย Muggle-born. Estelle's and Cael's parents were Muggle, but their father's brother was magic. And yes, the twins sadly have heard the "M" word in Hogwarts, but they didn't let it deter them.
๐ฌTreats/Honeydukeโs:ย Like I've said before, she loves to bake, and her favorite thing to make and eat is lavender biscuits. When she goes to Honeydukes, though, she likes the traditional chocolate frogs. She is very much a sweet tooth, and she loves butterbeer as well.
โUgly bad habits: She is very much a people pleaser. She can't say no when people ask for favors or want her to do something for them. This leads to her running all over the place in 5th year, do so much for everyone, even adults in Highlands or Hogsmeade. She sadly grew up and was molded to seek approval, especially approval from adults, so that's why she runs herself ragged to help.
๐Veritaserum:ย Estelle does get worried about drinking something spiked with Veritaserum as she has so many secrets that she doesn't want to unwillingly spill. Like everything involving Sebastian, and all of the ancient magic she and Cael dealt with. She has considered brewing it, but she didn't see a need to make some during her Hogwarts years. Maybe when she becomes an Auror, though...
๐ชWand:ย Wood - Cherry; Core - Dragon Heartstring; Flexibility - Pliant; Style - Spiral; Length - 11 inches; Wand Handle - Imperial Brown and Gold
โXtra:ย She does have a three-clawed scar that goes from the top of her forehead on the left side and down to her cheek, over her eye. She and her brother were scarred by the same animal: a tiger at the zoo. One of the orphan kids they were supervising go too close, so Estelle and Cael rushed to the girl and pulled her away. But not before they got slashed by paw swipes of the large, dangerous cat. Their caretaker, Madam Lindsey, made things worse for them as she tutted at seeing their scars. She even said to their faces: "You both had such pretty faces. What a shame." So, Estelle is more self-conscious about her scar as she doesn't think any boy would find her pretty after being "marred". But Sebastian proves that wrong very quickly.
๐คขYuck:ย Estelle is prone to throw up when she's deeply frightened. So, dealing with too many spiders in Jackdaw's Tomb? She lost her lunch over the edge of the bridge while Cael patted her back. Same deal happened later when they were stuck in that dreadful haunted Hogsmeade shop.
๐Zonkos:ย Estelle is VERY playful. She never got to be mischievous growing up in the orphanage as she was forced to grow up quickly, but when she gets to Hogwarts, she wants to have so much fun when she can. She wouldn't ever be as trouble-making as the Sallow twins, but she does tease her brother a lot (especially when it's about his crush on a certain someone, lol). She is not one for impractical jokes, though, seeing that as too far. She also likes puns, so whenever Sebastian does a play on words, it always makes her laugh or giggle.

Headcanons: Residents with a Child!MC

He's the father figure of the group so he'd be the closest to you. A really good father figure and very protective. Sometimes a little too protective.
Not like you can blame him though. You're just a fragile, tiny human alone so of course you need someone to protect you.ย
He can be strict whenever you do get into trouble but he doesn't like punishing you too harshly. If you burst into tears at his scolding, his paternal instincts kick in and he'll do whatever he can to comfort you.

Napoleon๐ฆ
Big brother Napo is another one that is very close to you. This guy gives me the impression that he probably loves children. He is also just as protective of you as Comte is.ย
If something is bothering you, you can come to him for help. Though if it's something you don't want to talk to anyone about, he won't pressure you about it.
Just know if you're ever in need, big brother Napo is there for you. He'll have your back no matter what.
๐Arthur๐
More of an uncle than a brother or father figure but I can see him liking kids.ย
Most people would say he's not a good role model but I feel like he'd be a good one. Always gives you life advice and is always there to help if you need him.
Of course, he'll be a little hard to win over, especially with a human child. He doesn't like the idea of losing someone he cares about to the passing of time.
๐ฆMozart๐ฆ
Mozart doesn't even like the other residents interrupting him so of course he's not going to be going anywhere around you. It's nothing personal, he just prefers to be alone.
If you do end up getting close to Jean though, he may get closer to you as well. He and Jean are close friends so Mozart loves to see Jean start letting more people in.
Also if you're a calm, quiet kid who likes music however, he probably won't mind you sitting in his room as he plays. Hell, he might even teach you how to play. Just don't be too loud, okay?
๐ฏJean๐ฏ
Most likely to stay the furthest away from you. It's not that he doesn't like you, oh no it's the opposite really. He absolutely adores you. It's just that he's afraid of hurting you.
It's no secret that Jean doesn't drink as much as he should and you're just so small and fragile. He could easily hurt a child like you if he wasn't careful.
But if you gently break down his walls, he can't run from you forever. He desperately wants to be a big brother to you like Napo but he's not sure if it's possible for him.
๐Isaac๐
Doesn't like kids. At least this is what he says. It's just a cover. Between not wanting to accidentally hurt you as well as not wanting you to mess with his work, he's another one who'll probably stay away from you
If you are known for wandering all around the mansion, he'll probably stay locked up in his room unless he absolutely needs something. Otherwise, he'll try to keep to places where you don't go.
He may warm up to you eventually but it'll take a lot longer than it'll take for others since he's as guarded as he is.

Kids? He loves kids! Sweet little Vincent is probably the most eager to be around you besides Napo and Comte.
If you're interested in painting, he'll be incredibly happy. He's very helpful with tips and even lets you sit with him as he paints.
He'll be the absolute best big brother you could ever ask for besides Napo. I mean he does have experience being Theo's big brother.

He could pass on dealing with a kid. If Vincent is happy around you, then you're alright. Theo however just isn't too big on kids himself.
He does get a little jealous seeing Vincent being happy around you, but he's also very happy. All he wants is for Vincent to be happy.
Eventually though he'll start to realize that you see them both as older brothers and he'll try to start being as good a big brother to you as Vincent was to him.
๐ฆDazai๐ฆ
Did anyone say Uncle Dazai? Again he loves kids but probably isn't the best role model. And he absolutely adores being a big brother to you. Though that doesn't mean you're immune to his antics.
He loves to tease people, and that includes you so don't think he'll leave you alone because you're a child. You and Isaac are his favorites to tease after all.

How much he likes you honestly depends. Like he's probably really stressed from taling care of all the residents and you but if you don't cause him too much stress, he'll adore you.
If he bakes any sewers he'll let you have some fresh from the oven. But too many or you'll spoil your dinner. If Comte is a father figure then Sebastian is kind of like the mom.
He'll always say that you don't need to, but his heart will melt if you help him around the mansion anyway.ย
๐ฑLeonardo๐ฑ
As long as you don't mess up his work, Leo doesn't mind having you around. Though if you spot him napping somewhere, you can nap with him. He doesn't mind.ย
Leo does really enjoy your company, no matter what he's doing and he's generally like a parent to you just like Comte and Sebastian. It's not rare to see you sitting in his lap while he's reading a book to you.
