I'm back from the mythical land of Ohio and I have brought with me fic recs! I'm changing up my format for how I make these too, I'll include the author's summary and bit of my own Thoughts and Feelings about said fic.

Oh god, the layers of who knows and doesn't know what is insane and makes for a fun and suspenseful read! I always look forward to this fic's update.

I've been dealing with Poolverine brain rot after watching the Deadpool and Wolverine movie (on top of the Superbat brain rot), so I got SO EXCITED I saw this Logan/Bruce fic. A mash up of my current brain rots (and some favorite blorbos)

Every time this fic updates, I have to resist the urge to reread the entire fic because I love it so much (I fail each time, I've reread this fic so much). All the chapters have been from Logan's POV, but the latest one is in Wade's, which was Excellent to read. I am Super Excited for the next update.

An excellent outsider POV fic looking at Logan and Wade's relationship. I love how protective they are of each other 🥺

A Poolverine omegaverse fic on my fic rec list?? It's more likely than you think! I am also a big fan of fics where Logan (or Wade) have omegaverse dynamics, but the other doesn't, but still learns how to take care of them during heats (or ruts).

Why isn’t it finished? 😭 I don’t usually read unfinished or discontinued series, but the summary really had me and I just had to read it – and now I’m hooked and I want more of this sexy hot hacker Yoongi! 😭 The story was also just so well written and the chemistry between reader and oc was so fucking perfect, and don’t get me started on the smut, like ugh 🥵 Gosh, I’m so sad there aren’t more parts to it (like the author planned four parts). But it’s so so good, and the cliffhanger isn’t horrible (in terms of wanting to read the next chapter). It can definitely be read as a one shot, I just really, really wished there was more, because, fuck, it was perfect! 💯💜✨

Okay so I used to read a LOT of merthur fics back around 2011-2013 and have only recently hopped back on the bandwagon so this will be a mix of some oldies i've revisited and some newer fics that have made me insane :))))

0. this one goes without saying but The Student Prince is seriously one of the best fics in any fandom i've ever read to this day. I relisten to the podfic every single year and it SLAPS every time. If you haven't listened/read recently this is obviously my #1 rec hahahha

Okay onto some actual recs

1. Tired by spqr

King Arthur gets enchanted and keeps having dreams about his court sorcerer merlin :))))) He obviously doesn't say this to Merlin, but Merlin notices he's not been sleeping and Arthur comes clean about having 'nightmares.' When Merlin tries to figure out a counterspell, he accidentally casts it on himself and ohh nooo they're both having sexy dreams about each other but also have to act normal in real life ITS SO YUM. This fic was surprisingly soft, like yes they are having some full on dreams but also the bits that made me extra insane were just the little soft moments between non-dream merthur 🥺

This was a school holidays read and i remember reading this in the staff room of the elementary school i was working at trying so hard not to SCREAM. At one point i had to go on a spirited walk around the building just to get my energy out because it was JUICY.

If you like: canon era fics, court sorcerer merlin, the intimacy of domesticity, arthur with a beard and merthur being so in love but also fucking clueless about it this the fic for you <3

2. But It's a Good Refrain by lady_ragnell

Merlin runs a relationship advice/matchmaking service radio show and Arthur's ex calls in and rips into him on air. Arthur calls in to defend himself and he and Merlin butt heads. An oldie but such a goodie. I love this one because the characterisation feels very natural. Plus i loooove arthur POV fics. Merthur are so sweet in this one and i love love love the dynamic of their respective friendship groups merging. It also features the fandom favourite m/f crack ship that is elena and gwaine which im always here for.

If you like: silly modern AU friend group nonsense, Arthur POV fics, snarky Morgana, and a fic writer who understands the sheer power merlin emrys' 🥺 face would have over not only Arthur but literally ANYONE who looks at him, this is the fic for you.

3. Second Chances by DragonDucks

This is a canondivergence/fix-it fic set immediately after Arthur dies in 5x13. In this version Arthur tells Merlin he loves him with his dying breath and Merlin's magic sort of implodes sending him back in time to 1x1. So it's like sad s5 Merlin getting a second chance to save Arthur in the body of tiny baby s1 merlin.

I'm gonna be honest i'm still reading this one but it has me kicking and screaming!!!! Most of the dialogue is repurposed from the show which makes it extra juicy to me and its just delicious i love it so much. The POV switches between S5 mourning merlin and S1 gay panic arthur and its soooooo good i'm loving it so far. Some of the side characterisation is a little weird but Merthur are PERFECT. It NAILS that yummy introverted Arthur and fond Merlin characterisation.

If you like: canon era fix it fics, time travel, Arthur pendragon falling in love with merlin bit by bit and actually having space and time to grow as a person, and merlin emrys being like no everyone shut up about my destiny i just wanna have a good time with my boyfriend, this is the fic for you.

4. All is Semblative by Whitefox

I just fucking love crossdressing fics okay 😇. This is cinderella meets Merthur. Uther is throwing a ball to find Arthur a bride and servants aren't allowed. Out of spite (and, lets be real, also jealousy) Merlin tries to disguise himself to sneak in and ends up accidentally turning himself into a princess. Arthur hits it off with a weird but beautiful mystery princess who turns out to be his manservant he's been in love with this whole time. Simples.

If you like: Prince Arthur knowing about merlin's magic and being cool with it, fairytale AUs, accidental genderbending (but still canonically mlm merthur), and arthur pendragon singlehandedly embodying demisexual panic this is the fic for you.

5/6. As Long As We Have We AND No Matter How Far Away You Roam by lady_ragnell

Lady Ragnell again because I looove the way they do modern day Arthur. and i've been going through their stuff. These are both super cute christmas fics (I know its a little early but I couldn't help myself). In the first one, Uther has just died (rip uther you will not be missed) and Arthur accidentally collects lonely friends to spend christmas with him in the empty house. At the same time he befriends Merlin, the owner of his local bookstore, and merlin brings his own group of strays to Arthur's christmas...and obviously everyone gets along super well and merthur fall in love. The second one is a fake dating. T get his parents off his back, Arthur lies to Uther and Igraine that he and merlin have been together for years and Merlin (plus his mum and his sister Freya) has to play along one christmas..and obviously everyone gets along....and obviously everyone gets along super well and merthur fall in love.

If you like: found family, cute christmas fics and fluffy merthur these fics are the ones for you!

I've reread this so many times and I've been at such a complete loss of how to properly articulate what this meant to me. I came into this fandom very soon after ACoSF came out, when the ship war was really starting to take off and the Feyre/Nesta stans were vicously at each others throats. It felt impossible to be in any space that wasn't rampant with hate for some other group of fans. And very early on I decided I wanted to be intentional about fostering a positive space in the fandom.

I've by no means been perfect, but I've made a very deliberate effort to keep my blog void of anti content for any ship or character. And as my account has grown (which has been a very humbling and mind boggling experience), I've tried to use it to spread positivity in a fandom that feels so intent to tear at each other's throats. I wanted to contribute to a community that focused on uplifting each other.

This might be the first time I've been transparent about that goal, I guess because I'm concious of patting myself too heavily on the back and/or subjecting myself to scrutiny. But it was really lovely to see this message, because it's gratifying to feel like the concious effort I'm making is recognized. It's also been an extremely rewarding way to make fandom friends!

I'll also say that I'm definitely not the only blog who's taken this approach. So many of my good friends also curate uplifting spaces, and I've been so fortunate to fall into a community of writers and artists that support and hype up one another 🥰

Then there's the wonderful blogs like @acourtofkindness and @elainsflowergrams that go out of their way to spread kindess and positivy - thank you both for all you do 💕

And thank you, anon. This was such a lovely message. It made me feel seen in my silly, little efforts to make this fandom a brighter place. Opening Pandora's Box by Nightowljane

This is a Gojo x Reader fic on AO3 in which both characters have a meaningful conversation about Gojo's and Geto's fallout (bisexual Gojo implied). It's a beautiful and quick read, I loved it with all my heart, the dialogue is incredibly well written, and God knows I'm a complete SUCKER for good dialogue.

2. The Ghost of You by Rampagescandal

This fanfic centers around Nanami's thoughts as he sits beside Haibara's lifeless body in Jujutsu High's morgue. I just discovered this gem today, and I'm ecstatic to recommend it (I'm still working on my comment on AO3, lol), and God knows how much I like reading stories about grief. First off: the MCR reference in the title? I mean??? I'M GOING TO CRY (I actually did while reading it). I don't want to spoil anything, but everyone is beautifully in character, and it addressed something I thought about for the longest time (how Nanami probably blamed Gojo to some extent when it all went down). It's a great and quick read, I highly recommend it.

3. Ikemen Kaisen by @rahuratna

If you wanted more filler episodes/chapters from JJK or are finished with the light novels but still need more canon-alike content, this is the one for you. While I was reading this, I actually felt like I was reading one of the light novels, and the characters depictions are so extremely on point — it still is, to date, my favorite fan depiction of Nanami ever. I mean, whoever follows me or has asked me about a fic I love has probably heard this already, lol. I also read this kicking my feet like a school girl. From their interactions to the world building, everything is just on point. Mwah, chef's kiss.

4. If art can be touched, will you let me hold you? by @seiwas

I read this in one go so fast. I'm so not normal about it. Firstly, the way the author weaved the motif all throughout the story was SO WELL DONE I could've wept, for real. Also, the parallels between sculpting, bread making and other things were amazingly well executed. This fic is on the very sensory side of things (at least for me), so it felt like I was reading living, breathing words — it feels alive. It's an amazing experience, and I'd totally read an entire book of this.

5. The widow's keeper by @pseudowho

I cried from beginning to end. I mean, is it possible to read it WITHOUT crying? If it is, please let me know. I'm very much someone who enjoys reading and watching media about grieving, so when this one appeared for me, it was an instant "yes sir please I want it". The most painful (and beautiful) thing about grief, at least for me, is the love that lingers on, and oh boy, it is beautifully woven into the story here. It's about guilt, grief, loss, and the life and keeps moving forward despite parts of the ones we still love being forever bound to the past. This one is also a must, do not skip it.

Starbula Week, Day 3: Alcohol / Jealousy

Now for something completely different...a GOTG/Parks & Rec headcanon! (I tried to keep this relevant to everyone, whether or not you've seen Parks & Rec...though everyone definitely should, as it's a fabulous show!)

Context: I recently finished a Parks & Rec rewatch, and thanks to Starbula/GOTG being on my brain, I began imagining ways for the characters to be part of Peter's life, post GOTG Vol 3. So for Starbula Week Day 3, here’s my brief overview of how Parks & Rec characters became part of Peter Quill’s Missouri found family, and the *~jealousy~* that one of these people ended up feeling towards Nebula… 😏

Ok, here's my headcanon:

After Peter has settled into life back on earth a bit, his grandpa has an idea. Being part of a grief support group had been a lifeline for him after Meredith’s death and Peter’s disappearance. Maybe it would be helpful for Peter to try one out, too, in addition to the therapist he’d recently begun seeing?

Peter agrees that it sounds like a good idea, and finds a new group that has space for one more. When he shows up for the first meeting, he meets...the Parks & Rec main cast, just their alternate MCU versions. (And all living in Missouri instead of Pawnee, Indiana, of course 🤓)

Side-note: I have no idea how grief support groups actually work, but in this fic, I'm saying people have to join a new group for a set number of sessions instead of just dropping in. It's relevant to the headcanon, and it's how the MCU in my brain works!

During that first session, while everyone introduces themselves, Peter learns about the different types of grief they're all dealing with: losing family members, friends, clothing stores (that would be Tom), etc. Ron Swanson is the only attendee who doesn't want to be there; he's been court-ordered to attend a grief support group, probably after some kind of crazy shenanigans with Tammy II 😆 And of course, April Ludgate is only there because she's fascinated by death and observing grieving people lol

After the first session, led by none other than Chris Traeger -- who seems like he'd be delighted to do something like this -- everyone (aside from Ron) is pretty shocked by how cathartic it was, and they all decide to keep coming.

The support group keeps meeting weekly and grows very close, and once the official term of the grief support group ends -- let's say, after four months -- they all decide to continue meeting together, just unofficially. And like in the show, this eclectic little group becomes a lovely found family. It's so sweet to think about Peter having amazing people on earth and Knowhere who love him so much. And I love thinking about how, even so, he still eventually decides the place he truly belongs is back on Knowhere. Somehow, I feel like his decision to be on Knowhere, and (eventually) with Nebula, is even more special knowing that he also could have had a happy life in Missouri.

I also love the idea of the P&R characters gradually observing Peter's journey of healing/moving on from Gamora and his growing feelings for Nebula. I love imagining him getting advice from Leslie or Ron about what to do with these confusing new feelings, and what to do with his life in general.

Ok, onto the Starbula Week stuff...

All the while, April, who's only in the support group because she wanted to observe/enjoy everyone's grief, ends up staying in the group and growing as a person, just as she does on the show. And in a similar vein, she develops a major crush on Peter. (Also, she's in her mid/late-twenties instead of in college because that age gap is Too Much.)

Unfortunately for the April of this universe, of course, Peter just sees her as a good friend and remains oblivious to her growing romantic feelings for him. Sorry April :((

The jealousy (and alcohol) of today's prompt come to a head when Peter's support group friends and his Knowhere family all meet for the first time, about a year after his arrival on Earth. Peter has just finished his GED and, after his graduation ceremony, everyone (aside from his grandparents) goes out to celebrate. Thankfully, Peter is no longer tempted to numb the pain with alcohol anymore, so he can have a drink or two with his friends. He's just excited to dance with them -- overjoyed to finally have both his earth and his space friends together in one place.

In the meantime, April's feelings have been growing stronger for Peter over the past few months, and she's decided that tonight is finally the night she'd confess her feelings to him. She is scared but excited.

Throughout the day, Peter had been focused on being a good friend to everyone, and to spend time with everyone equally -- even though he really wanted to be near Nebula whenever possible. Peter wanted everyone to get along and have a good time, and that had been his main focus. Now, finally at the bar and able to relax and have fun, Peter finds himself naturally gravitating toward Nebula. He finds that he really wants to dance with her, to tell her about the weird new earth musiians he'd been learning about that were currently blasting on the dance floor.

After dancing by her side in the larger group for a while, Peter couldn't resist. He reaches out and grabs her hand, trying to make his voice teasing when he asked, "Dance with me?" Nebula, of course, desperately tries to hide how flustered she is, and the two begin dancing.

Of course, this all is taking place while April was at the bar getting a round of shots for everyone. She's still formulating her plan of how she'd hint to Peter of her feelings, walking back to the dance floor, when she spots Peter and Nebula dancing. And her stomach drops.

The dance moves aren't intimate, per se, but their eyes. The two can't take their eyes off of each other as they move together, in sync to the music. The blue alien's lithe form moves smoothly and quickly, and April can't look away. Neither, of course, can Peter.

All of the sudden, April understands what was happening -- what had been happening for months and months, as she'd heard more and more mentions of Nebula's name. How could she have been such an idiot?

Leslie notices her younger friend staring and comes to check on her, giving April a knowing, sad smile. "You okay?"

April scoffs. "Dammit, I can't even hate this bitch -- I mean, look at her, she's fucking awesome."

Leslie nods, staring back at the pair dancing. It's clear that neither Peter nor Nebula were seeing what every single one of their friends did, and she has no idea how. It's pretty obvious, from her vantage point over here, that the two are absolutely head over heels for each other. They'll figure it out eventually, she thinks. My main focus is being there for April tonight.

Putting an arm around April, and ignoring her cries of protest at the unwanted physical contact, Leslie lays her head on April's shoulder. "You know, you're pretty awesome, too."

The two drink a shot in solidarity, watching Peter and Nebula dance together until the song ends.

1. What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again? fool's gold was a 1872 fic and it was one-sided dialogue but with no quotation marks, so it was supposed to read like somebody from timely was telling you about what happened! i liked it but i don't know if i would do it again because it's just stylistic, i think it worked for 1872 because it suited the small town setting

2. How many fics did you work on this year? (They don’t have to be finished or published!) i have too many wips but i posted 56 fics on ao3 this year!

3. What’s something you learned about yourself as a writer? that i dilly dally a lot to avoid writing smut scenes and that the discord sprinting bot is my best friend

4. What piece of media inspired you the most? probably endgame because we had the @stevetonyisendgame exchange and prompt fest this year, so i rewatched it a lot and ended up writing lots of endgame-adjacent/post-endgame!! they're so soft in that movie i can't help myself

5. What fandom(s) did you write for this year? all marvel except for one fic for game changers! i foresee house md fic in 2024

6. What ship(s) captured your heart? stevetony has always had my heart does that count

7. What character(s) captured your heart? i love steve rogers even more than i did last year

8. Did you write for a new fandom or ship this year? new ships!! i wrote steve/thor and steve/natasha for the first time for captain bottom bingo and steve/peggy for the first time for steggy secret santa

9. What fic meant the most to you to write? nobody saves me, baby (the way you do) because kristina@samcky had an unposted draft of it that she let me rewrite 🥺 so it meant a lot to me because she's all over that fic and i just love her with all my heart

What fic made you feel the happiest to work on? i think it's a tie between winged and how porcupines kiss because they're so fluffy! although this might a little biased because @capnstars drew the cutest winghead!steve art you've ever seen in your entire life for winged and @itsmaybitheway drew THIS PRECIOUS PORCUPINE!STEVE AND ARMADILLO!TONY for how porcupines kiss 🥺

11. What fic was the most satisfying to finish writing? probably hell and high water because i worked on it slowly for months which usually doesn't happen, and it might even be one of my favourite fics that i've ever written so i was really proud

12. What fic was the most difficult to write? Did you finish it? i don't think anything was difficult to write but new york is a hell of a town (and i'm brooklyn down) was so silly of me because it's set in august, but i wrote the first part in april and the second part in october and didn't really work on it during the actual summer 😶 like what was that?? why did i do that?? i'm so sorry

13. What fic was the easiest to write? into the forever and beautiful sky! it's a rocket-centric fic with rocket & steve friendship, i wrote it right after watching gotg vol 3 and it's just feelings vomit ahahah

What were your shortest and longest fics this year? my shortest fic was fool's gold which was 546 words and the longest fic that i wrote by myself (not just this year but also ever in all my life) was a rose by any other name which was 11.6k words! without caveats the longest fic is heartbreak prince, which i wrote with @areiton and it was 12k words!!

15. Rec a fic you wrote or posted in 2023 a beast of a burden is really special to me so i want to rec that one! because i wrote it for the endgame exchange that i loved so much and it was for mrsgingles, who is my favourite stevetony artist, and it reminds me of this summer, and it also feels like the truest love letter to endgame that i've ever written

16. What were you go-to writing songs? i don't have any! usually it's whatever i'm already listening to or a movie or show that i'm watching, but i listened to exo's lotto on repeat when i wrote hit the lotto because that's what the fic sounds like in my head and taylor swift's timeless when i wrote once in a lifetime because it was based on that song

17. What were your go-to writing snacks? NO TIME FOR SNACKS WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO KISS

18. What was the hardest fic to title? maybe lovelorn and nobody knows? i started working on it before 1989 tv came out and it didn't have a title for way too long, the google doc was literally just called "there are still beautiful things steve pov" and then it took me like 20 minutes of comparing 1989 vault lyrics to pick one 😭

19. Share your favourite opening line from the ice is getting thinner under me and you (a hockey au)

Steve is supposed to be at a bar downtown with the rest of his team. Steve is not supposed to be back in the emptied out stadium, his back slammed against the lockers with Tony's tongue in his mouth.

Share your favourite ending line i added the second last line for context but this ending line is my favourite because time has always been against steve and peggy, so i feel like the best show of how happy and safe they feel together is that they finally don't have to watch the clock or worry about time slipping through their fingers anymore 🥺 this is from from we were born to be national treasures

When she laughs, eyes glittering, he has the most peculiar feeling that he was always meant to end up right here, kissing the maroon lipstick off Peggy’s mouth, swaying under the sprig of mistletoe they never took down from Christmas as someone starts to shout a countdown to New Year’s. She cups his face and he smiles into the kiss, and neither of them bother watching the clock.

21. Share your favorite piece of dialogue from if my wishes came true (buckynat)

“You got that written down in your notebook?” “I don’t need to write you down to remember you, Natasha Romanoff.”

22. Share an excerpt from your favorite scene there were so many close contenders aahh but my favourite scene has to be the one from catastrophic blues when tony finally catches steve!!

“Then don’t make me hurt you,” Tony says, raising his palm and lighting up his repulsor. “I know you know what this does. You’re unarmed and backed into a dead-end alley. You’re not winning this one, kid, I can tell you that for free. Take off your mask.” The Vigilante glowers and stands his ground. “My whole life is dead-end alleys. I’m not taking off my mask.”

23. Share the final version of a sentence or paragraph you struggled with. What about it was challenging? Are you happy with how it turned out? the whole end part of near-death cliché took some wrangling just because i was trying to make it sound like something kang the conqueror would say haha

“I’ve killed a lot of Avengers and it all starts to blend together,” Kang says, “but I remember you because you always end up fighting for him. I admire the consistency. It’s rare.” “Him?” “You could be with Steve Rogers,” Kang says almost empathetically, and it’s like he has gently wrenched Tony’s heart out of his chest. When the repulsors on his palms falter, Kang continues in the same disarming tone. “I could send you back to the battlefield. You’d open your eyes and he'd be there.”

24. What's something that surprised you while you were working on a fic? Did it change the story? this is hilarious to me because the recurring motif in but saving what we love was supposed to be steve and tony calling each other's bullshit over the years but it ended up being overshadowed by star wars. so much star wars, in fact, that it warranted a "star wars references" tag

25. What did you use to write? (e.g. writing programs, paper & pen, etc.) google docs

If you had to choose one, what was THE most satisfying writing moment of your year? all of i thought the plane was going down (how'd you turn it right around) for two reasons! one is that i feel like maleness informs a lot of their lives and experiences and for a while i didn't really get the appeal of genderbending them, but then i read all of isozyme's lesbian stevetony fics and i had an epiphany about genderbending being an opportunity for character and relationship study, and two is that once i had said epiphany i realised i actually had a lot to say so i wrote captain eve rogers in one go and now i love her so much

27. Did you do anything special to celebrate finishing a fic? hmm i don't think so!

28. How did you recharge between fics? i don't think i really do that either

If this were an awards show, who would you thank? oh my gosh. with all the sincerity in my heart, every person who gave me a kudo or a comment or is subscribed to my ao3, recommended my fics or my blog, said in a reblog/tweet/discord message/dm that they liked one of my fics or it made them happy or they were excited about reading one, follows me on tumblr or looks at my gifs or likes/reblogs my posts, runs fandom events, shares their beautiful fics or art or edits with us, all the members of the steve rogers defense squad, truly everyone who i've had an interaction with (except the steve antis and bots in my block list 😠) because i'm so grateful to have this community and that we met because we love the same thing and we can make each other's days better. deactivating for 10 months was the right thing to do but i'm so happy to be back this time because of you

this is definitely one of my favourite things I've written! I'd show it to everyone if I could, it's just very crunchy to me.

When Donnie gets his hands on the Arc Capacitor after the events of Out of the Shadows, he decides to repurpose the tech for his own use. Unfortunately the first test run doesn't go well, and he's accidentally transported to a different dimension. His first thought is to find the new reality's version of Donnie, so they can work together to find him a way back home, but while trying to find their lair, he finds a much different version of his brothers instead. At eight, nine, and ten years old, the young turtles are hopelessly lost in the sewers beneath the city, and their only chance at getting home is Donnie. Between finding a way to get four lost turtle kids back to their dad, and finding a way to get himself back to his own reality, he's got a lot to do. AKA the Rise/Bayverse crossover that exactly nobody asked for but I'm writing all the same.

Jango and Obi-Wan have been keeping an important secret as their relationship develops, which is that they’re both werewolves. Besides that minor detail, things are going great – at least until their car breaks down on a road trip and the only place they have to stay is an abandoned hotel. The day before Halloween. Which is on a full moon. No way this could go wrong, right?

For me, I really like Proof & Rose Colored Boy by Paramore, Everyone Wants to Love You by Japanese Breakfast, Jackie and Wilson by Hozier, and I Will by Mitski :)

I just posted some of my itafushi favorites but I can always recommend more!!!

First Time by Hozier is one that really makes me think of them! I feel like they’re really each other’s firsts for everything and totally change the way they go about the world.

Formidable by Twenty One Pilots is a Megumi song to me as well. Slightly intimidated by how much he likes Yuuji with how unapologetically himself he is? Very tender lyrics when I imagine the boys strolling about Tokyo together, as well as now knowing what Yuuji’s life before the story was like. Megumi would want to know it all.

Dancing With Our Hands Tied by Taylor Swift is peak itfs when considering her massive discography. The fear of an outside force forcing you apart??? The desperation to stay together even when you know you’re going to be torn apart??? Wanting to go back to the way things used to be despite everything having changed??? It was one of the first songs that I added to my playlist!

And finally, another Kacey Musgraves song, Heaven Is! Another song that makes me think of post canon song and how their intimacy and vulnerability would be after going through everything. Finally healing together and finding comfort in each other. “The way you sound when you call my name” never fails to get me, especially when considering how it was Yuuji calling to Megumi that pulled him together.

I haven’t listened to Proof in so long but DAMN is it the current state of itafushi!!!!
