"Such a nasty scar," one of the segments snickered. "How does it feel to be wearing one of our masks? If you weren't ranked so low, you'd probably be demoted further."

Zeta ignored their jabs and harsh words. He'd been called worse in his lifetime, even in a room filled with people. This was nothing new, yet it filled him with such rage. He would not be stooped to their level.

He would not bite back, no matter how much he craved revenge. There would be a time and place for all of it. He just had to wait and accept their harsh words as nothing more than that. Harsh words.

He would be better.

He could take the humiliation.

Kai has many places where he glows.

9 "ghost fire" feathery plumes that only appear in the heat of battle. They're translucent, black with a blue center, and glow like real fire

His tail feathers and head feathers will burn like fire because they are fire. They are physical manifestations of the fire within his body. This occurs when he's angry and upset.

His chest will sometimes glow with a light orange when he's severely injured. It's meant to signal that his body is healing itself and requires time and rest.

Do any of your OCs ever glow? If so, describe it — where on their body they glow, what causes them to glow, in which conditions do they glow, how it feels, how your OC feels about it, etc.

He might hug you if he trusts you. And in that case it is, indeed, deserved.

He likes hot and spicy food. The spicier the better. It goes in line with the headcanon I had for him :3

I mean, his VAs can sing, so yeah, he can! In my hc, I see him also being well versed in playing multiple musical instruments that he had to learn as a child.

Y'all have no idea how much I cackled when I saw this. Back when I first started this blog, I made a hc in one of my chains with a blog that no longer exists that Diluc would wear silly socks and no one would know because of his boots. I based it on what I saw during my time in Germany and now in Netherlads. Fun fact, I recently bought socks with pink axolotl on them!

Ovis was perfect.

The black swirling mist encased his body, ripping and pulling at the feathers. Kai choked on the black smoke, gasping as it filled his lungs. He had been careless and let the claws of karma rip and tear at his body.

One too many harsh battles and suddenly his body was a breeding ground for karmic debt. He thought he had been good at keeping it all at bay. Guess he was wrong.

Another cough, another hack, another scratch at his arm to remind himself that he was alive. Grabbing the nearest rock, Kai pulled himself closer to Mondstadt's Cider Lake.

Staring at his own reflection, Kai felt the karma ebb away, turning into a faint memory. Kai breathed easy, using his own reflection as a grounding device.

He was safe.
