he is the most attentive, kind and loving partner ever. and he always made a big fuss over you so you wanted to do the same for him.

his 18th birthday.

you wanted it to be perfect.

so you had asked his friends for help organising a party for him.

you did your best to keep him out of the dorm after classes, taking him for a walk and a small picnic at the lake.

you knew his friends needed you both gone until 6, so you kept taking glances at his watch to make sure you didnt stay out too long even if you did want to stay out here all night.

but when you saw the time on his watch you knew you had to wrap it up out here and take him inside.

when you arrived back at the slytherin dungeons after a lovely quiet walk, you entered infront of theo, leading him into the common room with a nervous smile on your lips.

the minute he came into view the entire room erupted in cheers of 'surprise' and 'happy birthday'

the common room was draped in banners and streamers and there were tables on either end of the room with food and drink.

not everyone had actually been invited, you had managed to convince some of the students from the younger years to stay in there dorms for a few hours, so he was surrounded by people he liked and cared about.

within seconds theo was being pulled into the middle of the room by his friends and you headed over to some of the girls to let him enjoy his night with his mates.

it was about 30 minutes later that theo found you to pull you away from your conversation with pansy.

your brows furrowed softly when he started leading you up the stairs towards his dorm.

" theo, what are we doing..?" your initial thought was that he was dragging you away because he didn't like the party.

" are you not enjoying yourself? " you stuttered slightly, following him up to his dorm and walking in after him when he opened the door. " i'm so sorry, i thought you'd like this, i'm such an idiot.. i-i can clear everyone out if that's what you w-"

you were cut off from your nervous rambling when theo grabbed your cheeks and pressed his lips to yours. only when you slightly relaxed into it did he pull back and swipe his thumb under your eye to catch the frustrated tear that had fallen there.

" i love it... darling, no one has ever done anything like this for me. and i love you so much for doing this for me "

the smile on his face squashed any of your previous fears that he hated it.

" i'm so glad you liked it..." was all you could think to say before he had his lips on yours again and his hands were travelling down your waist to grab at your thighs and hoist you up onto him.

your legs instantly wrapped around his waist, feet interlocking behind him to keep yourself secured.

his hands moved to under your ass to support you. when he stumbled slightly you let out a soft laugh, cut short when you felt your back press against the door to his dorm.

he pushed you further up against the surface, his lips trailing down your neck and shoulder.

suddenly all the work you had put into his party dissipated and all you cared about was this boy sucking a hickey onto your chest while your dress rode up around your hips.

it was no secret that your boyfriend was attractive.

many girls walked down the hallway and openly fawned over him while you were standing right beside him.

but he was yours.

and he didnt care about the other girls in the hallway.

he cared about you.

and he showed you every day that he did.

he told you every day how much he loved you.

you had begged your friends not to make a big deal for your birthday, and they had kept their promises to you. instead of a big party, your closest friends had set up a picnic by the lake for only a few of you to enjoy.

but of course, theo being theo, he had asked you to show up a little bit earlier so that he could be the first one to see you.

his reaction was definitely worth the 15 minutes you lost getting ready.

his lips were on you in an instant, his hands gripping at your waist as you enjoyed the moment together.

" happy birthday, sweetheart...did you get my present ?" he questioned, unable to tell with the outfit you had chosen to wear.

instead of answering, you just removed one of your hands from around his neck and lifted the hem of your sweater so the bottom of the pink fabric was visible to him.

you could see the excitement in his eyes and it caused a smile to spread across your lips.

" i like it very much, thank you, baby, i dont ever want to take it off " you whispered, moving to wrap your arms back around him.

the sound was only interrupted when she heard the door to the common room open, followed by draco, mattheo, blaise and theo trailing in through it.

your eyes lit up at the sight of your boyfriend.

" hey, sweetheart, what you been up to ?" he questioned, heading over to you and standing with his feet touching the couch, his shadow towering over you.

" just reading, where've you been ?" you questioned

" me and the boys took a trip to hogsmeade..." he paused, leaning down to whisper slightly in your ear.

" got you something, but you gotta come up to my room to see it " he whispered, a smirk on his lips when he pulled back to look at you.

you had never stood up faster, leading theo towards his own dorm room, a giddy smile on both of your faces.

opportunities like this didnt come often in your industry.

you had been given the rarest of chances to work in a kitchen with michelin star chefs.

one of which had taken a bit of a like to you.

his main job was desserts and pastries but you bumped into him a lot because he made his pastry doughs during the dinner shift to have them ready to bake the next day.

when you stayed behind after your shift one day to clean up the kitchen, you had ended up spending the night talking to him until he had to go home.

that very quickly turned into him asking if you wanted to continue your chats back at his place.

you both showed up to work the next day in the same clothes which was thankfully unnoticed by all of your co workers.

so after his second class of the day, he decided to go and see you and make sure you were okay.

he found you curled up on your side, your eyes clenched shut and your arms folded over your stomach.

you could feel your eyes burning at his care for you. he skipped his classes to come and see you and make sure you were okay.

" you look quite pale, baby, are you okay ?"

of course you weren't okay. your stomach was absolutely killing you and you were both shivering and sweating.

you shook your head against the pillow.

it wasnt something you were planning on telling theo but it seemed you had no choice.

" 've got my period, teddy. just need to lay in bed for a few days "

he moved closer to you, sitting up by your pillows and brushing your hair behind your ears.

there was no way in hell you were turning that down, and a soft smile settled on your lips at his offer.

he leant down and pressed a short kiss onto your forehead before standing from the bed and dotting around the room to collect things. when he returned to the bed he had a hoodie, a damp towel and he had taken most of his uniform off.

he eased you up from where you were laying and shed your sweater that had been soaked through with sweat.

after leading you into a warm shower, theo had changed your bed clothes and run down to the kitchen to get you some food and tea.

he had a pair of pyjama shorts & one of his hoodies for you to change into.

the minute you collapsed into bed theo fell down with you, his arms instantly wrapping around your torso, his hands resting over your stomach and basically acting as a hot water bottle.

he buried his head in the crook of your neck, enjoying the way you nestled up against him.

Trying to get a visa was a very tedious process.

After getting a high level job at your company in copenhagen, you had made the decision to move there. 

That wasn't the only factor, there was also the luca of it all. 

The guy you had been seeing for the last 8 months. 

It had definitely been difficult with you flying between new york and copenhagen for work, but those times when you were together made the times you were apart well worth it. 

When you told him the news you would be moving he had been beyond excited that he would get to see you almost every day and had very quickly asked if you would want to move into his flat with him. 

That had been another quick yes. 

You loved luca, and you were beyond excited to live with him. 

But apparently the world didn't want to grant you this excitement. 

5 months you had been trying to get a visa but every time you sent in the application it got sent back saying you had filled it out wrong. 

You were hoping that today was the day the envelope sent to your flat in new york contained your visa. 

You eagerly opened the envelope, disappointed to find it just filled with paper. 

‘ dear mx [y/l/n], unfortunately you did not enter a valid danish address so your visa application has been rejected ‘

You collapsed down next to him, pulling your laptop onto your lap, resting your head down on his broad shoulder.

the three of you had taken residence at sarah's house for the night, none of you wanting to shove your new relationship in the face of your lover's exes, and after ordering dinner for the three of you, you settled yourself down on your bed, moving to hesitantly rest your head against jj's chest, sarah laid comfortably on the other side of him.

you laid there stiffly, not wanting to get too comfortable or fidget too much, but when laying stiffly started to hurt your side, you had to relax against his side, unable to stop the words spilling from your lips.

" is this okay? " you questioned, your gaze flicking over to the two blondes at your side.

sarah lifted her head to look at you with slightly furrowed brows, sharing the mildly confused look with jj.

" it's more than okay, baby " jj replied, wrapping his arm around you to pull you further into him, pressing a kiss onto the top of your head while sarah slid her hand across jj's torso to link her fingers with yours.

the three of you laid like that with your laptop playing on jj's lap in the middle of all of you until you heard the door and went to go and collect your food.

unbeknownst to you, as you were padding down the stairs of your house, jj and sarah were discussing the three words you had uttered earlier.

you were unpacking the food on the kitchen counter when the two of them emerged from your room and sat on the bar stools on the other side of you.

when the both of them said nothing and looked at you, you were mildly confused, a small part of you wondering if you had done something wrong.

" what ?" you questioned, pausing your movements of unpacking the food.

" did we do something to upset you ?" sarah questioned.

your eyebrows shot up in confusion.

" what? no, of course not. what would make you think that ?"

" you've been really...nervous around us for the last couple weeks. we thought maybe we had done something to upset you. " jj explained.

oh. they'd picked up on your behaviour.

" if we didnt do anything, then why have you been so nervous around us ?" sarah questioned, leaning against the counter.

you took a moment before you answered.

" this is all really new to me, okay? i've never been in a relationship before, let alone one with three people...i didnt want to do something to mess it up because i really like what we have going.. "

it felt nice to finally get it off your chest but you were now just terrified of their reply.

it took a moment but they. both stood from their stools and headed over to you, sarah wrapping her arms around you first with jj following suit.

" you're not going to mess anything up. this is new for us too, but we care about you and we don't want you to be scared of ruining this. "

jj's voice vibrated against your back and it caused a smile to spread across your face.

they went to pull away but you grabbed both of their hands before they could get too far.

" can i have one more hug ?"

" baby, you don't have to ask. " sarah replied, instantly wrapping you back up in her arms with jj's much larger ones encircling both of you.

6 months ago james had taken you by surprise, having your entire flat decked out in candles, and you found him standing in your bedroom a lot more dressed up than you usually see him.

" what's all this, jamie ?" you questioned, dropping your bag down onto the bed, only then spotting the bouquet of your favourite flowers on the bed.

you leant over to pick them up and when you turned back to james he had moved onto the floor, knelt on one knee with a nervous smile on his face.

you knew what he was doing but for some reason it made you malfunction.

he took a moment and in that moment you felt your eyes burning.

one hand was holding open the hardback book and the other rested in remus' tangled locks, your fingernails scratching lightly at his scalp, earning a soft moan from him every now and then, bringing a slight smile to your lips every single time.

the boys knew to steer clear of the dorm or stay quiet on these days where the two of you were laying in almost silence all day.

and you stayed with him through till the next morning when remus always wakes up first, coaxing you awake with kisses and thanking you for yesterday and promising to make it up to you over the weekend.

but making it up to you always consisted of the position switching from the day of the full moon.

you laying in his lap, his hands pushing through your hair and a book in his hands, only there was no silence.

he read to you all day even if it was something you weren't really interested in.

he never wakes you up. he always makes sure that he slips out of bed in the early morning without waking you up.

you come downstairs in the morning to find him outside in the field so you make him a coffee and meet him outside where he was feeding the chickens.

the two of you spend about twenty minutes relaxing on a bench overlooking the vast fields that james takes care of every day.

james is out in the field until lunch tending to the animals very day.

you are basically a house wife.

james goes to work in the field and the house is your job.

james sells all the produce made from the farm and gets a decent amount for it so you don't have to work.

and even though you try to cook and clean james very very often comes up behind you and tells you to stop working so hard and drags you up to bed .

you absolutely adored your little flat.

after hogwarts, you and draco had decided to move in together in london, knowing full well his parents wouldn't want to look to hard for him surrounded by muggles.

and you had really enjoyed the last year of living with him.

without the stress of his family he was a lot happier than you had ever seen him at hogwarts.

his tattoo meant nothing to the muggles. no one looked at him with disgust or contempt.

he got a few odd looks with the bleached hair but those weren't completely unwelcome.

he had started learning to cook for the both of you which was definitely one of your favourite parts about living with him.

you would come home to the incredible smell of home cooked food and it never failed to bring a smile to your face.

today as you walked through the door, you smelt something that instantly made you hungry.

you shred yourself of your bag and shoes and jacket and made your way into the kitchen where draco was hunched over the stove as you would often find him.

you approached him, your sock clad feet padding against the floor and wrapped. your around round his torso, burying your head in his back.

" evening, darling. how was work ?" he questioned, not turning away from what he was doing on the stove top.

you merely let out a soft moan in response, letting him know in no words that you were just exhausted.

he turned down the heat on what he was cooking and turned in your arms, your face now pressed to his chest and his arms cocooning you.

" why dont you go and shower and by the time you're finished, i'll have dinner sorted? " he suggested and he knew you couldnt resist.

you simply pressed a short kiss onto his chest before walking towards your bathroom to wash the exhaustion off of you so you could enjoy an evening with you boyfriend.
