this is one achievement that genuinely baffles me. like the song bangs and it immediately went into my playlist for songs to get me through the commute and i know i have a habit of putting certain songs on repeat when it strikes me but i genuinely have no clue how i managed to get a song that came out just over a month ago to the number one spot with a little over 1500 streams when i'm not the type to silently stream things ashkjklksjddl. its very high energy but also massive fan of the imagery its wild <3

okay now. very sweet song, very lovely, i can't remember why it originally entered a certain playlist of mine but i Do remember the song playing when i read pjo for the first time in like january and got to the scene near the end of titans curse where they slow dance. and immediately i was like oh. this song is so percabeth. which was why it later entered my summer playlist and became relevant to more ships and so is one of my faves to listen to when i'm writing pining. and i think it also inspired a couple art ideas too so. slay

There is a very miniscule chance my biased bias Kassho debuts, however, there is a deserved bias Jungmin, and I like Riku, Anderson, some other contestants as well. A lot will depend on the type of content. How entertaining it will be. Japanese is actually a plus, I can watch just for listening comprehension practice.

By the way, there are rumours that SM wants to debut a Japanese new bg in 2024. Sounds too soon. The new Korean gg is still awaiting its debut.

I envision that with time Sion stans will start the "respect the leader, give him more lines and centre time" complains. Yuushi has a contrasting to the main vocals voice, so even with a small range, if he will be able to just take the notes cleanly, he'll become a lead singer, I think.

Sakuya is already popular. He is fun. However, there are many of those who aim at the second rapper position. And he isn't a rapper right now, Daeyoung came and proved to be better. Yes, I think the unit will take time to catch up. Around two years, I guess. All other units have become quite popular in Japan. I even wonder about the need for a Japanese unit. Kassho is at the bottom of lists on tw right now, he is the type to rise to popularity thanks to circulating fanmade pictures and funny behaviour in programmes. He is also not a bad dancer, he just didn't have enough of training time. He is robotic, but his lines are clean. With confidence he'll level up. But mostly visuals. A small grumpy character is a popular archetype: Hitsugaya, Hiei, Levi, Shoto, etc.

I don't think Daeyoung will ever be in the top list of popularity. Hm, who else. Actually, none? Those who will be popular are already popular.
