HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT

I'm not even sure if this is a hiatus or a permanent leave but tumblr just isn't enjoyable. The internet as a whole isn't enjoyable, but to be fair neither is life.

So for now I'm announcing a hiatus, as if anyone really cares. If I decide to pick up writing again I might come back. There's a commission I got that I'm trying to finish soon, but after that I won't be posting at all.

For some reason, Two Wuv moves my brain in reasons I cannot comprehend. The funky happy chemicals™ just start mass producing and i start to pace around the room and sing, same thing happens when i listen to Taken for a Ride, Spring and a Storm and Hymn for a Scarecrow, but Two Wuv just makes me want to do that more. (Maybe it's just my autism, idk).

the latest eps was complete dogshit. It wasn’t funny it wasn’t scary it was just annoying. I understand the “cringe” aspect of it but I think that a middle aged British man probably doesn’t understand the complexity’s of modern day slang and AAVA and instead just found words that he thought the *kids* would say and used them[which.half of them weren’t even in USE there r some rllyyy outdated terms used] anyways I’m super disappointed with it.am I insane 🗣️🗣️

Ive seen ppl argue including horribly butchered aave was a commentary of how its used on social media, but if thats what happened then I think it did not have enough time to properly explore and elaborate on that topic. Also not enough ppl know abt aave to even be able to take that away from the ep

To my knowledge the voice actor for Madam E is Ki Griffin, who is a black intersex nonbinary person, so there is a chance they were aware of how 'internet slang' is just stolen aave and they specifically wanted a black actor for this ep, but again they did not have enough time or used what they had to properly explain that

Hear me out…

*MAJOR spoilers for Leon’s route below the cut & for Licht’s and Nokto’s— proceed with caution*

Okay, so as I’m sure most of you know the theory in Rhodolite that twins bring bad luck. That phrase has to have some origin and I thought — what if twins run in the royal family? Because we have Licht and Nokto obviously, but what if they’re not the only pair of twins we know?

In Leon’s route we learn that he is not the original prince Leon and doesn’t have any royal blood. But what if that’s not true.

In Leon’s route we learned that he is naturally left handed and had to practice using his right hand in order to take over for the original Leon. And there’s a belief that with twins one’s left handed and the other is right handed. So what if the reason that the Leon we know in the game and the original Leon looked so much alike is because they’re actually twins?

In Lichts route we learn that the twins mother was supposed to choose one baby to live but ultimately couldn’t choose and let both boys live. So what if Leon’s mother was supposed to do the same, but instead of killing one she decided to abandon one? She of course had no way of knowing if either baby had been born with the same heart condition as the king and ultimately the twin she chose had it and of course eventually succumbed to it.

In Leon’s route we learn that he has no idea when his real birthday is and knows nothing about his parents and that would make sense if he was abandoned. Maybe his mother sent one of her servants to drop Leon off in a nearby village and just hoped for the best for her son, not knowing one day she would someday need him.
