One of the first vampires EVER! Plus this one seems fun and the fact Rick had forbidden her from even talking to her made it all the more interesting. Also can someone tell Ricardo that she does not take orders from him? Again? For a vampire, he sure seems to have a bad memory. “Do you want to go on my radio show?”

“I didn’t realise we had differences.” If Kitty sounds tired, that’s probably because she was. Unfortunately it wasn’t the type of tired that could be fixed with a goods night rest. So many new old vampires keep showing up in her city and it was getting hard to tell where their allegiances lie and she hadn’t had a chance to talk to her vampire contact about THIS ONE yet.

“Though if you’re here to tell me to stand down fighting Roman, I can cut this conversation short and say no. But if you’re not here for that-” she puts on a charming smile. “How can I help you?”

How many times has Kitty heard that? From TJ long ago, from Cormac, from Ben, from Rick, from Detective Hardin, from Alette - a girl could start to develop a complex if she's not careful. "At this point I don't think it's a miracle - just dumb luck. Or someone up there-" Kitty pointed at the sky. "Finds me entertaining. Probably the Monkey King. I've met him you know."

Okay, she's not actually delirious from blood loss. Well, probably. But she's still telling the truth. She checked her now mostly healed wound. Thank god for werewolf healing.

“Oh, plenty of people hate me. Weirdly, most of them have something in common. The amount of time I’ve been called the spawn of satan… or that I’m a devil-worshipper. Really, they like to bring in the devil in some way. The hate mail that comes to the station really is something.” Not to mention the amount of people who have tried killing her, or the vampires who’s Long Game she’s unintentionally ( then very intentionally ) meddled with - the list really is very long. Who knew being a radio show host was so dangerous? “I did a show a couple weeks ago where I read some of them on the air and rated them on their originality.”
