Unfortunately for Riddle and you, once a mer decides on a mate, they're unlikely to let them go. For most merfolk, this is standard and not unexpected. Once they decide on a mate/partner, they will do whatever they can to be with them, the Sea Princess is the biggest evidence of this.

Unfortunately for humans, most merfolk do not have the same wish to live on land as she, and it's common for sailors, beach tourists, and lonesome lighthouse workers to disappear alongside a merperson. This is especially so if the merperson is particularly attached to that human. The remaining merfolk are rarely helpful, as they mind their business and aren't keen to rat out their friends.

It's one of the reasons that people are cautioned against getting too close, physically or emotionally, with merfolk. Out of the thousands of missing persons in the world, a few hundred are attributed to lovestruck merfolk.

But don't worry too much! Jade and Floyd are nothing if not attentive partners...perhaps a bit possessive...but attentive. You'll never spend another moment alone, ever.

ꔫGreat question! I will try to answer it to the best of my ability!

ꔫA way that worked for me was kind of just acting as if I am one (whether I am 100% sure or not)! There's never any shame in trying out a label and then realizing it does (or doesn't) work for you!

ꔫI'd reference some of the activities I listed out here: "ꔫHow to Voluntarily Age Regress" if you want to use that idea of "trying it out"!

ꔫMaybe if you find that you're not a regressor, you'll find that you simply enjoy age dreaming instead!

ꔫSomethings I notice about my regression (and this is different for everyone, but this is my experience):

Things feel kind of cloud-like or even "fuzzy" in terms of my senses and mind

It comes about very easily/often when I am tired

Because I both voluntarily and involuntarily regress, I have a pretty wide realm of triggers; this may be something you want to explore for yourself!

I am sometimes easier to upset/more irritable

Mistaking myself for younger than I know I am

I can even have more direct thoughts like: "I want my teddy" "I want to watch cartoons"

ꔫNow that I am quite comfortable with regressing, I find that it feels akin to a light switch flipping on or off for me nowadays. I can tell clearly when I'm entering my regressed mindset, and can even fight it similarly to how one fights sleep!

Oh yes, I think the white leather would be very subtle until someone spots the ring. I could imagine people grabbing it as they left, some more gently than others. I wonder how many would stay behind, waiting to see who's going to be bold enough to go further. You'd be the lucky one to do it, drawing a crowd to watch you make the priest unravel. I get flustered under just one person's attention, I can't imagine how red I'd turn knowing how many eyes are on me, each one wanting more, wanting to touch too. With Shrimpy Chronicles, does Azul ever get his own kids or is it specifically tweels and Yuu?

Originally it started with just the Tweels and Yuu, but I got some asks regarding Azul and so it just depends on the specific oneshot I'm writing. The only kids that stay confirmed are Coral and Pearl as the tweels' and Yuu's kids, but depending on the fic it can include the Tweels/Yuu triplets (Poppy, Moss, Lumiro) or the Tweels/Azul kid (Beryl). I've yet to write something with Azul/Yuu kiddos.

ichika n saki are diehard hi3 fans. they have matching kiamei icons on some social medias. ichika has somewhat lost interest in the game since pt.2 dropped but saki has only gotten more obsessed - she's a senadina stan. honami and shiho don't play, but ichika has kin-signed them yae sakura and fu hua. they've also made shnm go to cons with them in full cosplay, usually they cosplay kiamei/bronseele but one time saki dragged honami into cosplaying elysenti with her.

haruka is a casual player, she only really joined after the genshin impact collab awhile back tho. she's a keqing main. she also joined the official "keqingmains" theorycrafting discord and instead of submitting her talent screenshots to get the "keqing main" role, she sent in a screenshot of her fully levelled keqing skill tree. the mods found this fucking hysterical and she got a special role for it. no one knows that she's the haruka kiritani, and she'd rather keep it that way. she enjoys being a niche internet microcelebrity, thank you, she doesn't want it tainted by her being a international idol star. (after keqing was removed from being playable, she became an asuka main)

shizuku, being the turn based girly she is, also plays religiously. she fucking loves bronya, she hates how she was done dirty in pt.2. also a diehard bronseele stan. there are compilations on niconico of her rambling about bronseele for hours upon hours during mmj streams.

kohane plays, she's a herrscher of flamescion main out of spite. she was so excited when she got her from the free beginner thingy, but when she joined a coop raid and someone told her that she should "invest in another battlesuit" she took it personally. she's literally no.1 in the world on the leaderboard. THE hof main. is matching elymei pfps with an on niconico.

an is a herrscher of origin mei main, but she doesn't have herrscher of truth bronya or herrscher of finality kiana so her mei is mid. bc of this she also has herrscher of human: ego built and levelled.

toya... hoyonerd. beloved. he's a sixth serenade kallen main. he gets irrationally annoyed when kohane calls kallen kiana because like... she's not wrong by definition but No???
