It didn’t look like there were a lot of creature comforts inside that odd shop of Spamton’s. While Judas couldn’t do much to fix the situation as a whole, he could add something a little softer to it. The quilt might be comprised of various scraps of fabric scavenged from the trash and discarded items around Cyber World, but it was expertly put together, wrapped in a bow made from more scrap bits.

When Judas visits Spamton to give him his gift, he’ll find that the salesman is…off, somehow. In a good way, though. Less uncanny, and more normal looking. His hair is half-black and half-white, his skin doesn’t look so plastic-like, and his smile isn’t plastered on, instead a happy, natural grin. Still though, with energy only slightly less manic than normal, he accepts the quilt from the Lightner.

It’s pink and yellow. Like his glasses. His grin turns into a smirk at the realization. He doesn’t know how Judas did it, since he recognizes several of the scraps as being from around his shop, but it’s so cozy and warm! He absolutely has to thank him. But his voice, too, is normal. Not nearly as distorted and uneven as it usual is.

He then wraps it around himself, obscuring his clothes that look less doll-like for some reason. His quick reply made her face warm again but this time she took a deep breath and kept her phone aside, returning her focus towards the salad in front of her. She didn’t want to read into his words, he was probably taken aback by how she reacted that day and wanted some closure on whether she was okay. Mimi predicted that they would go back to their rare, once in a blue moon interactions after this, and there probably won’t be a second time for her to receive a reply from him without delay.

"You know, the real surprise is you buying something from my website," Mimi said, resting her chin in her palm, now brimming with the confidence to meet Yamato's gaze.

"Well, had I known that I was eligible for such a special delivery, I would've placed an order much sooner." He didn't hold back his smirk this time, as he reached forward for his glass and took another small sip.

It was pretty normal for them to fall into a pattern of taunting each other, challenging each other for fun to see how far the other could go. This was perhaps one of the reasons Mimi was worried about meeting him like this, with no buffer between them she dreaded if she'd even get the chance to share her appreciation before their conversation ended in an argument.

"It's not a big deal, I do it for Hikari chan all the time." She responded, tucking a strand of loose hair behind her ear just so her hand wouldn't be tempted to reach for the wine glass and finish whatever remained of the drink.
