Wild Life Pearl concept 🌙

You know how in wild she had red in her mc skin and then it started growing through out the series? This concept never left my brain and I drew it finally

You know of course Gem loved this, she knew she half the reason this is a thing, she probably thrived off the chaos caused by snails.

Also I just love her being fond of this deadly eldritch creature, she knows fear won’t save her. It wants her fear. So she doesn’t fear it. She baby talks a god in the face and waddles slowly away, with a smile, because after all she knows how to wield fear as weapon (after all she made Mumbo afraid to kill her with only a few words).

It’s not the snail that will kill you, it’s the fear of it that will.

Am I nuts for caring more about Gummigoo the NPC than any of the "real humans" in the circus?

Like I care about them and what's going on with their lives obviously, I am curious about what makes them tick and why they behave the way they do (especially Zooble, they're so interesting to me). But for some reason, Gummigoo feels more real to me than the "real" humans. Maybe because his struggles are more relatable in a weird way, or that his storyline is naratively more interesting, idk.

I just know that we only have him back for like half a second but I enjoyed every fraction of it, despite the angst 😢😢

The world is pretty crumby rn so hey here’s a Life Series related poll!

I keep seeing a lot of discourse around which order of the three hearts is the ‘correct’ order for the Life Series. Green to red represents the transition between lives in the series itself, however red to green is easier to find and use as ‘traffic’ colours (e.g. 🚥)

Jimmy’s death was such an omen for the server. Like a warning of the chaos about to befall. I love how foreshadowing and narrative just happens, it’s not meant to happen, but it does.
