*I couldn't think of a better way to word that, but I mean like. If I only opened comissions for stages sketches through flats, but you wanted shading, or something. Or if I end up deciding certain kinds of commissions won't work for me and have to put up restrictions.

The second I'm able I'm probably going to be opening them, so I'm just kinda feeling out where interest lies! I don't know how I'd be pricing things just yet, honestly? My brain seems kinda caught on "$5 for a quick sketch is a good starting point" but we'll see what happens, since I'm uncertain what the reasonable price escalation from there is to me- also, I have a tendency to go overboard on my sketches naturally, so. We'll See.

Another thing that'll probably be coming is a kofi for tips and requests! But do keep in mind that I just specified requests and not commissions- they'd be in no way guaranteed, I'd just feel a little more pressured on account of your kindness lol

sometimes i feel bad about spamming on tumblr but as someone who is getting over a deep fear of Being Perceived On Social Media it's freeing to be able to be annoying and post at all lol

my prediction for a rui angst arc is someone calling his directing mid 💀

okay but no seriously. he's had a few mishaps, but for the most part everyone's like 'wow rui youre so talented/passionate/meticulous/weird' etc etc. his directing abilities are *really* good, both in universe and while reading the story. he's good at his craft, he knows that!

but there are teeeny hints that he still thinks he needs to grow. that'd not a bad thing, and he doesn't frame it like it's a bad thing. but he did blame himself for not giving tsukasa more diverse acting roles (dazzling stage event), and for relying too much on nene to teach singing (his side story in the canary sings event)

those were oversights he obviously felt disappointed he didn't notice. he doesn't pity himself though, quite the opposite! if anything, he pushes forward to become a better director.

and you know what? he pushed past it! things were going great now! he and wxs are taking a step forwards together, he's a 3rd year, he has a toonnnn of friends to hang out with, he and tsukasa are (presumably) gonna play a game of cat and mouse. things are gonna be fun, and chaotic, and the future has so much in store

...but everything has an equal opposite reaction. he has an actual social life now; in turn, i predict he's about to face some Challenges. Especially since wxs are doing more than Pheonix Wonderland shows, aka more professional shows. Whether those challenges will be criticism, old 'Im A Freak But it's Okay <:)' feelings coming back, 'I'm a Freak But it's Okay' feelings coming back BECAUSE of criticism....

Rui's been called many things, but I think it would genuinely stump him if someone were to call his works not crazy, but boring. but that couldnt be from just anyone; he could brush criticism like that off. maybe it would be someone he respected! or someone who's was much more talented than him. if you sprinkle in more tsukasa/nene events where they face challenges and rui isn't completely sure how to help them at first, then BAM. the seeds of 'wait what if im not that good...' are planted

if tsukasa/nene/emu performanced, and any of them were below par...well. you know the saying. there are no bad actors, only bad directors

Ngl, I would love to see a Lego video game adaptation of all the Disney Princess movies, although I have zero idea how the devs at Lego could make that work properly. If not that, then at least an adaptation of the Renaissance movies or even some of the Post-Renaissance/Experimental and Revival ones. A combo of the three eras, perhaps? The possibilities are endless!
