It was done.

He was finished.

Leslie gazed downwards at his last victims punctured body, panting heavily. His eyes glazing across the wounds his hand-scythe had left, looking somewhat proud of himself for completing such a task, almost acting as if he had never done this before. The slashers mouth was dry and his chest stung as he breathed in heavily. Leslie hadn’t planned for this goose-chase to go on for so long, he thought it would be like any other time; short and easy. Boy was he wrong. You see, Vernon had to chase down one lucky young man who had somehow escaped his grasp and outsmarted him. Leslie caught up to him though, and finished the job quickly. As his chest rose and fell more and more, the pace got slower as he regained his breath.

He was tired.. and bloody.. and felt somewhat guilty for what he had done.. wait..

Guilty?

No- no.. this couldn’t be! Somewhat down deep into his trench of a heart he felt.. bad?

Leslie pushed those thoughts that pulled on his heartstrings deep down into his domain of a brain and focused on tidying up his mess. After that, he took a step into the crisp, midnight air of glen echo. The wind howled softly in a twisted melody that seemed to fit the mood very nicely. The stars twinkled and the sky was clear, the moon full and bright, it was a wonderful night to behold.

As Leslie began to tread through the old and macabre apple orchard towards his car, he felt the thirst surge through him. He had completely forgot about his dry mouth, and now that he was thinking about it; he was getting kinda annoyed.. the need to quench his desert of a tongue and cure his growing headache was soon fulfilled as he continued to step through the grass dripping with midnight dew.

“CRUNCH!”

As the noise echoed across the field littered with apple trees, Leslie gasped; he looked down swiftly and retracted his foot back from where the loud and slightly frightening sound came from. As he did so, he revealed a gooey sight. He had stepped on an apple. A beautiful, rosey red apple. He grimaced at the sight, but then realised how scrumptious the apple seemed.. His eyes moved from tree to tree, taking in his surroundings even more than he had tonight and understood what he needed to quench his longing thirst..

Your features were now relaxed, slightly shaking your head: “Mikey, you shouldn’t change for anyone in the world.”

You were now sweating bullets internally. For quite some time now your feelings had started to blossom for the turtle and you had been struggling to approach the subject in a natural, non-awkward way. Maybe this was finally the chance?

YiZhan Fandom Interview with Renren !!

Preface:

In my attempt to sort out all the massive information that is generated almost daily in the BJYX fandom, I came up with an idea to interview prominent 🐢 for pointers, recommendations and advice as kind of a starter compilation kit for newbies.

Also, my intent is to provide some translations of the interviews (if you’re also interested in translating, let me know thru’ my twt acc below) for international fans and contribute my grain of salt to thin the language barriers and get to know more fans or simply, know your fave person in fandom.

So, the first question is kind of a mandatory introduction.

Q. Please, tell us a bit about yourself. How you like to be called or how do you go by in this fandom and how long you’ve been in the swamp?

I’m Renren, but most folks call me Ren. I’m a fic writer and a szd shipper (which for new folks means I believe they’re actually in a relationship, this is also called being a tinhat lol).

I watched The Untamed in January 2021, and then watched the official BTS, and saw a shipper in the comments and was like “huh, people ship real people?” I was no stranger to shipping fictional characters (I’ve written Reylo before), but RPS was brand new to me. But the more I watched of the BTS and then the unofficial BTS, I was like, oh yeah, there’s something here. The cave BTS sealed it for me.

So, I’ve been in the pit since January/February 2021. I lurked for a long time, then joined fandom more actively in the fall of 2021, and started writing and released my first Yizhan fic in Jan 2022.

This is your first RPS? Wow, how cool is that? To debut with such a power couple! ☺️

I lurked on tumblr mostly, and read Twitter without an account. I didn’t make one until August, and I don’t think I used it to post until September/October 2021.

Both lol, I’ve always loved octopuses, I think they’re darling, but I also enjoy tentacles as a trope.

We’ll come to that later~~! There’s a question regarding that afterwards.

Q. What was your first drive/motivation to start writing about them? Would you share a link to your first fic?

It was Xiao Zhan’s lightsaber video!!! I had this idea for a Star Wars AU with the two of them, and it took me over body and soul and I finally had to write it. The first story I posted though was the first Golden Girls AU,

then the Star Wars AU came out a month later.

By the way, you guys have to go read Renren’s Golden Girls AU cos I can assure you, you are going to enjoy it SO much, if you haven’t already!!

So on to the next one!

Q. How many fics have you written so far? Which one is the one that you’re most fond of and why?

I’ve written 15 Yizhan fics so far, and drawn 10 mushroom fanarts! I’m not sure I can pick a favorite, but it’s between “Fireworks in the Stars�� because it’s an original concept that I’ve been playing with for years and want to eventually write a full original novel with it, and “Houseboat of Love”, because I had so much fun with the exes-to-lovers concept. It was a bit angsty but I also wanted it to be a fun time with Xiao Zhan thirsting hard for his not-actually-ex-husband.

But I love everything I’ve published, if I don’t love it, I don’t release it.

I had totally missed that Renren’s mushroom posts are fanarts! I had to rush to see them and they are all SOSOSO Adorable, with capital A! The puns are sublime. I loved them all to bits and she has confirmed there’s more to come in the future!! Be on the look out, you guys!! 🥹🥹

Q. What’s your favorite trope to write/draw or a new one that want to try this year?

Oh, that’s hard! Because it’s different from my favorite tropes to read.

I really like to write getting together stories, especially if there is only one bed/they’re stuck together in some way.

But this is the year I’ll finally write tentacles, which is actually so much harder than I thought because a) I want to do it justice since I love it so much and b) there is SO MUCH choreography involved with all the extra limbs. You Belong in My Arms is my tentacle WIP, with chapter one out. Chapter one just has a cute octopus and tentacle kink, but no actual use of tentacles in a sexy way.

I will just restrain myself to say that Renren’s octopus is so cute like an underwater jianguo. I am hopelessly hooked to her fic that am anxiously looking forward to new chapters! But I digress…

Q. Are you bjyx, zsww or lsfy? Is this dynamic important to you when writing? (Or reading?)

So I am a bjyx-leaning lsfy. I enjoy reading everything, but I prefer writing bjyx or Yibo top lsfy.

That sounds like it’s the same thing, but the power dynamics are different between them (bjyx Yibo is IN CHARGE while it’s much more neutral in lsfy).

You mean like, Yibo makes the move? Or that he decides how he wants XZ?

Yeah, in BJYX makes most of the decisions, he’s very dominant in the bedroom and outside of it.

I like strong Yibo, indeed 😏

Q. What’s your most fave 🍬? Have you written about it? Where do you get most of your 🍬 sources?

My most favorite candy is the tattoo cpn! I have used it, most literally in an unreleased work, but I love to give both of them tattoos in my works anytime I can.

My candy sources are from Twitter (overthinkingthis, ecah, shirasagis, ventus for older candies) and tumblr (accio-victuuri), and I avoid folks sharing stalker footage or making wild claims like they know someone in the business or disparage their co-stars, because it’s harmful to the boys & just flat out rude.

I think for us newbies, we need to be careful and prudent on that and not fall for everything we see or outright edited (fake) info, cos it’s becoming harder to distinguish 😵‍ (out of my own experience)

So, the next question is selective, you can choose either or both…

A) Did you read THE fic? The controversial 22/7 one? How did you like it? How would you end it?

B) Do you wanna talk about wyb’s latest NYG’s LtS performance?

A) I didn’t. I didn’t even go looking for it, it has so many emotions and events attached to it, I think it’s best to just let it rest. No judgment for folks who decide to read it, though! Just my opinion.

B) Yes I do!! it was gorgeous and emotional, all about the yearning and longing you feel when you’re away from your partner and the bright warmth you feel when you’re back with them. It felt real, like he was pulling it from the depths of his soul.

It’s raw and vulnerable, and he did such a good job, I’m so proud of him! (And no, I don’t think it’s a breakup song or born from anything other than long distance relationships being hard.)

That performance was so heartfelt indeed 🥲

Q. Who is a content creator (writer, artist, v/blogger… etc) you would rec to a newbie? (Name as many as you wish) And lastly, a piece of advice for newbie 🐢!

Oh gosh, so many people! It’s hard to not just list all of my friends lol.

OldObsess/Overthinkingthis is a fantastic writer and candy librarian, her fics have great footnotes with all the different things she references in her fics.

Elisamiao is another amazing writer and she is so supportive of new writers in the fandom. I call her the fandom’s librarian because she is fantastic at fic recommendations, and can find what you’re looking for so fast!

Jalpari runs great events, and is a prolific writer, her Yizhan Through the Years is the first/second most kudos’d fic in the fandom. She is also very supportive of new authors/artists in the fandom!

BJYXObsessed is hilarious, her fics are so good and her meme threads are laugh out loud funny, I see them all over the place as reaction memes.

Bjyxnoa is a great update account on Twitter, and for deep cpn and candy discussions I like to go to Accio-victuuri on tumblr.

A piece of advice I have for new turtles is to not worry too much about proof of their relationship. They don’t have to prove anything to us, and each person has to decide for themselves how to interpret the things they do tell us. Everyone has their own “realness” comfort level, and that’s okay! It’s okay to be 100% szd and it’s okay to not be!

Lastly, their privacy is extremely important. Stalker footage is wrong, even if it “proves” what you want to see.

And don’t break the fourth wall with them, for example, if Yibo makes another Instagram post, don’t flood the comments with shipper comments, their social accounts are for work, and so we should keep our comments to the individual and the work they’re doing.

Unicorns are not a valid form of payment!: Chapter One

WARNING: Overall Fanfic 18+ MATURE, Leo x Miyamoto Usagi. Leo is over 18. This chapter isn't explicit but a lot of innuendos.

Leo stared at the unicorn just placed onto his three fingered hand by the intimidating dragon of a Yakuza boss, Bruce.

"Same time next week, Baby." Placing a kiss on his cheek, his rough skin scratches against the turtle's moist green skin. The cheery on top of the first awkward sugar baby date Leo has had. Leo nodded back hiding the disappointment that was clawing his insides.

Standing outside of the gates, the turtle stares at the little thing again, it was a cute pink unicorn with a rainbow mane. The tears that landed on it on it barely summoned more than confused look on the pony's face. Leo barely held back a scream sniffled "Unicorns are not a valid form of payment. I owe Donnie so much money for this outfit." Commenting on the new Channel boots, black bootie shorts and the flowing silk shirt he wore.

Sniffing again, he smelt blood and money. Waving a fat wad of cash in his face was the fluffy paw of none other than Bruce's new bodyguard. Leo remembered how close he was standing to the table during the dinner with Bruce. Once, letting a bit of a shine escape the sheath of the sword when the host couldn't find the reservation.

"Miyamoto Usagi," he said, "I see that he didn't give you what you wanted." He was a tall handsome rabbit, with a blue tailored suit, probably part of the uniform to be a bodyguard, his sword strapped to his side, and his ears bound together in a topknot bound with a matching blue cloth.

"Sorry I'm a little horse," Leo chuckled, presenting the unicorn "Hamato Leonardo." He introduced himself as he reached for the money, only for Usagi to pull it away from him.

"First let's go out to dinner." He purred the way a rabbit could.

At the Japanese style restaurant, "Now how did I manage to land such a handsome client . That little unicorn thing eating at the tatami" Leo thought to himself, "So this is what life's gonna be like since Donnie cut me off."

"I'm cutting you off!" Donnie yelled at him from the entrance of Leo's abandoned subway cart."

"What do you mean cutting me off, big bro" Leo said shakily, hoping to appease the angered soft-shell. Donatello, the purple masked turtle, glared at him and said, " I'm cutting you off because you go way over budget, and I'm giving the money to a more responsible person, "Little bro" since I'm the big bro now I can do what has to be done "

"Who is more responsible than me?" Gasped Leonardo. Placing his hand on his chest while walking closer to the other turtle.

"LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE!" exclaimed Donnie, "And Casey needs the money to be a normal teenager. That's when Leo knew that he can't fight it, it's been over a year since the Krang attacked and Casey deserved to be a teenager after a lifetime of fighting.

"Ok," He sighed "But first, Donnie, can I borrow some money?"

"For what?!"

"Clothes for a job interview"

Now his mind was back at dinner in his interview clothes, the clothes the Yakuza boss eyed him on the first date. The clothes he wore as the rabbit failed to quench his thirst with the sake.

"So what made you want to blow a body guard's salary on little old me." Leo leaned forward, tracing with his eyes the ways Usagi's suit displayed his muscles, his torso and the other things a Yokai can't hide while sitting cross legged. "Is that a wakizashi you're hiding or you're just happy to see me?" Leo winked down at him before sitting back down.

" Where was this energy when you where with Bruce?"

"In the money you paid up front."

"No, it was something else. Now is that your tail or are you also happy to see me?" Usagi chuckled, letting his buck teeth peek through his smile.

"Actually it is my tail." Leo beamed with pride. Letting it wiggle out of his shorts.

Usagi smiled, taking another sip of sake before almost choking on it when the turtle managed to slither onto his lap.

"Something tells me you're new to this, Daddy?" Leo smirked, letting his tail wiggle into a more comfortable position. This wasn't for long when a pair of fluffy white hands lifted him off from his seated position. "I guess it's you're new to this too, Sugar." Plopping Leo down next to him, minding the little unicorn that followed Leo along. Usagi then hands him a glass of tea.

"Ow, I think you dented my tail." Leo said, rubbing his backside.

"I'm not touching it, kappa, I didn't pay that much."

"It's not about the payment, it's about the experience. Bunny bun. I could tell that you are gonna to be a regular." Leo winked. "So, why did you pay me?"

"Your smile and i found you funny when my client did not"

"Are you sure about that," The turtle glances up at the rabbit.

"I'm sure. During your date with my client, Bruce, you faked a lot of smiles except for one," Usagi leaned in closer to Leo, "It was when you caught a glimpse of my sword."

Leo's red stripes turned brighter, " Haven't seen the whole thing unsheathed, you know."

"I'll show you after dinner. But I have to say that you haven't faked anything during our date "

They exit the establishment with a to go bag for the couple and the little unicorn that followed.

“Just admit you like me” he inquired, an amused scoff passing from his lips that were currently upturned in a condescendingly sweet smirk. A pointed look made its way across your face, brows beginning to furrow in irritation as you peered at the smirking man, that was having way too much fun for his own good.

“Do you ever just shut the fuck up? Like actually?” You huffed incredulously, eyes narrowing at the towering middle blocker. Tsukishima shrugged, hands moving to grip the top of the doorframe, his eyes focusing on you.

“ ‘casionally” he replied, that same mockingly sweet smirk only growing on his face. You stared at him momentarily, irritation bubbling in the pit of your gut.

“Move...” you sighed, eyes still hard in a glare as tsukishima chuckled a bit.

“Ouuu feisty I’m so scared” he mocked, waving his hands dramatically, feigning fear.

“Kei-“

“My name sounds so fucking hot coming from you” he interjected, his smirk only growing at the bewildered look casting over your features.

“For the love of god what is your motherfucking problem” you seethed as tsukishima lifted an eyebrow.

“You have such a dirty mouth..” he began, smirk faltering just a bit as his eyes traced your lips slowly,eyes making their way back up to yours.

“You’re unbearable you know that?” You cried out, frustration beginning to take toll on your once calm demeanor. Yamaguchi was probably worrying right now, you were supposed to be back with his microeconomics book over 20 minutes ago.

Tsukishima stayed silent at your outburst, carefully letting his eyes roam your demeanor.

“Every fucking time we get in the same vicinity you act like you lost your god damn mind” you ranged, tsukishima switching his position on the doorframe, shoulder leaning against it as his hands found their way to the pocket of his sweat pants.

“You act like a fucking incel sometimes you know? You have so much bullshit to say when you know you aren’t even fucking packing” you hissed, venom dripping from your tongue as you stared up at the male.

Tsukishima raised an eyebrow in amusement, a toothy smirk casting on his pretty pink lips as his tongue poked his cheek.

“Oh yeah?” He asked simply, voice leveled, as his eyes looked down upon you.

“Yeah” you murmured, heart beating against your chest wildly at the shift in atmosphere. Tsukishima continued to look at you, head tilted up and to the side a bit, eyebrow still raised as he analyzed you.

You looked away from him quickly, praying to god his years of being a middle blocker wouldn’t be your downfall.

He stepped away from the doorframe, catching your attention; hands still in his pocket as he stood directly infront of you, him towering over you. He bent down to your height, eyes coming level with his. His face was eerily calm, as he looked at you.

“You done?“ he asked softly, a stark contrast to his earlier condescending tone. Your voice was caught in your throat, as you struggled to find your voice staring at him with your mouth slightly agape.

“I asked you something.” He said matter of factly, as he awaited your response. You managed to nod your head in a feeble yes throat going dry at the close proximity.

“Y/n I’m not playing with you, next time you let some slick shit fall out you’re mouth like that you better remember who your talking to....we got an understanding?” He asked, eyes searching your face as you looked away only for slender finger to snap in your face.

“Eyes on me you know that...now do I make myself clear baby?” Tsukishima asked once again, irritation beginning to grow in his pretty face as you swallowed thickly.

“...y...yes kei..” you mumbled, playing with your fingers as you submitted to the blond.

“That’s my good girl” he smirked, fingers coming up to run through your hair, as he placed a soft kiss on your forehead.
