Arabian Nights!AU (not on AO3) I was absolutely going to be ambitious with this one and do a sort of "choose your adventure" with this and have the reader choose who they wanted to romance (so yeah - creating multiple versions of one chapters for all of the turtles x___x). I really wanted to get into it but I got too deep into planning and then I got stuck writing the first couple of chapters and yeahhhh ... that's my main problem in writing usually LOL

No idea what to propose as a 5th, so heh.

Just 'cause I usually share that every year, here's my summary of art 💃 yippieeee

One of the first year I did NOT do TMNT fanart (started around 2018??) .. so that feels a bit weird LOL. I realize that I absolutely enjoy drawing fantasy stuff more (always did), so I went a bit more ham with coloring and stuff. For those who want to see more closeups of the drawings, I usually share them on my BG3 blog @underdog-embers

My relationship with drawing in general have taken a lot of blows over the last few years, if I'm being honest. Baldur's Gate 3 and revisiting some old OCs of mine really did help getting past some of my blocks and I'm finally allowing myself to explore some new techniques. I'm happy :]

Traditional summary of art for this year! Had to slightly move some drawing's slots starting from June 'cause I did not do much for November and December yet, but I'm okay with that. A lot more colored art this year, so I'm happy about that!! Baldur's Gate 3 really did spark back that flame in me and I'm so happy to explore characters I haven't dealt with in a long time (Etnar - the green dragonborn - is probably one of my oldest OCs ever 💀 ooouugghh) Still a couple more drafts here and there and I want to try my hand at some DA:TV fanart - but that remains to be seen.

Just a lil’ something I wanted to try for a while We keep talking about the guys churring … yet we’ve never heard it. So I wanted to “guess” how it would sound. I may revisit the idea in the future, it’s been a lot of fun to work on :D !! Used sounds from an alligator, a puma, a tiger and a bear!

I’d mostly imagine the sound to be more muffled and with more vibrations (you could feel their chest rumble a little). Right now it’s more audible because otherwise we wouldn’t hear much HAHA

I just wanna chill while hearing that sound and feel the vibrations and take a nap. It’d be so relaxing aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh

Voted for Leo, but I can really see Mikey being able to pull it out as well!

Leo is the obvious leader figure, but I have a feeling that his temper can get the best of him at times (ex: when he and Raph had an argument about the purple ooze) - so maybe being able to pull the sword out could equal to a growth in his character and gaining a wisdom that allow him to view all sides of the medal.

Mikey on the other hand is often seen as the heart of the group, a gifted fighter, and a wild card with surprisingly good ideas at time. I sense he could be a good leader trying to bring the best outcome for everyone around him.

Donnie is what I'd call a "leader despite himself" (and I heavily relate to that). He's not prone to rise up, but if things don't get moving or people are confused about the direction to take, he'll take the reigns and steer the ship. He'd tend to make many decisions based on logic, which could lead to rash outcomes (or just being incredibly lucky, aka when he freakin' jumped out of a flying plane to land on the next sdjfbsdjbssbf). He's my third in place for that sword, but personally he's more suited as an advisor.

Raph is deadass last in line, but man he'd have so much heart if he was to lead. He'd want his opinion and decisions to be the best, but he'll listen to others (with a sour expression, simply because he's bummed that he didn't get the idea first). He wants to protect, he wants to charge in first to eliminate the threat, he wants to be a shield so that no one suffers.

I don't expect people to understand me, and that's okay. I've always had a hard time socially, and I accept that.

You don't know me, so you have nothing to say about whether or not my life is toxic. I still have things and people that bring me joy on the daily - being sad for one fucking day does not remove that fact.
