frrrrr (abt rhea and her kayfabe taste) i was annoyed with the storyline after like 2 weeks but also, who hasn't seen beautiful women fight over an ugly-ass man? (sry dominick, please shave that turd). i came to enjoy it through the messy bisexual lens bc babygirl is beefing with 3 exes at once with raquel's inclusion, all while being pursued by yet another man with a mullet. seek help girlie.

the goofy thing is i don't even think dom is ugly - although i do question the mustache lol - i just experienced the biggest whiplash of my life @ his personality before and after rhea ykwim... like oh. okay. cheers mate hard pass 👍 (credit where it's due, he and liv both nailed their characters as far as kayfabe is concerned lmfao)

the pacing of the story was definitely a big part of the problem for me... i have this issue with wwe narrative sometimes in general like it's kind of wild to me that this feud lasted for months without really evolving or doing anything new. like what are we doing team

i look forward to (hopefully) rhea and liv both getting to do something new now though

At least in terms of volume, I actually drew quite a lot this year, to the point where it was hard to choose what to put on this collage (since I try to limit it to 16 pieces). You should, like, totally look up the #myartwork tag on my blog so you don't miss out on all the other art and funny shitposts I did this year! ;P

It was kind of a mixed-bag for me this year quality-wise; I started off pretty strong and consistent at the start of the year (IMO) but to be perfectly honest with y'all I kinda got progressively fatigued and depressed due to IRL stuff, so I didn't have motivation to do much beyond simpler sketches/shitposts towards the end of year.

Still, I think I did some of my best stuff this year; two of my personal favorites from this year (and in general) are my Hatstache Week pic and the Hollow Code crossover.

I also branched out and did quite a bit of fanart this year (this was the year I replayed and became fucking obsessed with Crosscode) which was a nice excuse to come out of my shell a bit and interact with various fandoms more; I do want to try and draw more OCs next year since I did neglect them a bit, but I am a lot more comfortable about drawing fandom content now so that's nice C:

Every new year that comes reminds me that I almost lost this future.

And two years ago, I thought I had none.

See the world celebrate the last second of a full rotation around our big star, with fireworks and colors to synthesize our own sun. We paint the night sky for some fleeting moments, remind ourselves that there is joy to be had in something new. The world is cruel and the winter is cold, but we find ways to make it beautiful.

Two years ago, I couldn't imagine staying alive to reach twenty. Couldn't imagine that one day on my birthday, I'd open the letters I wrote to myself at fifteen, and read them with a clear mind. Two years ago, I couldn't imagine that I could call myself a doctor, a surgeon. Two years ago, I couldn't imagine that I'd look back at childhood photos with a smile. Now I can.

There are always going to be promises for the future. I'm here to see a new year for the little girl who couldn't believe she made it to her birthday again.

And this year, I'll thrive, and you will too.
