Damn, he's a Paladin of the BOS who discovers he's a Synth, there was a HUGE writing potential here and instead, his reaction in the moment he realized what he truly was, as valid as it was, seemed lukewarm to me.

Alright, you ran away, great. I come looking for you and I find you. What I expected to see there was someone desperate, broken, in pieces, on his knees from pain and ANGER and instead I see a man who’s cold as a popsicle. Shit man, that was your life, everything you believed in just collapsed on you, you're not even sure of what you are anymore. And instead of finding you teared up I find you there calm and collected, as if you were expecting me, and the first thing you ask me is to kill you. Just like that, emotionless, flat. I get it, again, you're a Synth and a soldier but you just found out you are what you always HATED.

He looked pretty well to me, slightly bothered by the matter. What am I not seeing/understanding of him? I don’t get it.

People's reaction to the human/pokemon relationships leak is hilarious considering the late 90s manga had a story about a man having fun times in the bathtub with his Tentacruel, Latias kissing Ash in a movie, and there's also the implications with Hypno in the FR/LG games (seems that people have forgotten about that). There was also one of the main developers of the first games and who worked in the first movies who "confirmed" that a 10 year old was a fully fledged adult in the pokemon universe, and that's why they are left to their own devices in the games. Like, this has been told in all of these "creepy facts iceberg" videos on youtube.

Pokemon has always had controversial and dark content, but a megacorp doesn't become the most grossing company in the world without knowing how to marketize and sanitize their products to sell to the Average Joe. And knowing how short the memory span of the internet is, it wouldn't surprise me if the people who are outraged w/all of this ended up buying the next game they release.
