Mini rant about how some people can’t separate the Ghouls and the people in the masks.

Anyone else get ridiculously uncomfy when they see Ghoul designs that are just copy-and-pastes of the unmasked Ghouls’ faces?

Like, they are separate people, it feels weird to me💀.

Especially when it’s NSFW/suggestive art and it’s just basically, let’s say, Jutty and Hayden snogging and sucking each other off but they have horns and a tail.

In my mind, it’s no better than that deepfake/AI shit that puts celebrities faces onto 🌽⭐️’s bodies. It’s done with out any knowledge or consent, and is plastering their faces onto NSFW situations they very well may not be comfortable with.

Like, ew no it’s makes my skin crawl istg.

And don’t give me anything about how “Oh well this Ghoul and that Ghoul do xyz on stage”. Okay good for them but I would be surprised if there is no discussion about those types of things first, at the very least an understanding with each other and their relationship/closeness that allows them to do shit like that with each other.

It’s still putting their faces on situations they haven’t consented to.

You will never see me liking or reblogging Ghoul art that’s just, eg, Liv’s face with horns, tail, Impera outfit and the caption says “Aurora”.

There’s a DNI in my pinned post for people who can’t separate the Ghouls from the people in the masks for a reason.

Plus I feel like when people come up with unique designs for the Ghouls’ faces it’s just more creative than whacking “Ghoul features” onto Jutty or Cosmo or Laura’s faces, for example.

Idk it’s just something I see a lot and it never sits right with me.
