Idk if we’ll ever get canon ages of the bachelors and bachelorettes for FoM. But do you have exactly any headcanon or idea of how old they are?

You know I was just thinking about this! I have a few ideas but still unsure so feel free to put your input in the tags 🌺

He's a merchant that has built a reputation around the town and outside of it, he needs a few years to do that

Especially considering he was a ""former rouge,"" he'd either have to spend a few years to regain trust or change his identity lol

He looks young but acts older if you know what I mean? Idk I guess has a lot of experience

I'm giving the pretty confident answer that he is 22

He acts like an angsty teen so he's younger but definitely not over 25

For historical accuracies, a quick search claims that blacksmith apprentices would start around age 13 or 14 and would last from 4-8 years (this is from a quick google search so the source is....trust me man...)

I think he would have started at 14 and the apprenticeship would last at least 6 years (he's an "award-winning" blacksmith so I would assume that the two years after he graduated he would build up his fame)

Anywhere from 35-42

I feel like 30 is too young for Hayden but's that just me

He could be a younger silver fox you never know

For maximum DILF points he has to be 35≤

I think a happy little median would be 38

I like to think he's 23 but 22-25 also works

He definitely looks young but I don't think he's at his mid twenties just yet

Ahhh yes, that is an interesting question. My children and I must forage the land for nearly everything. But with a treaty being drafted that is slowly changing. I will get to that in a moment

Before I explain, it is important to know that we in Mordor enjoy a seasonal diet due to living on the land.

-Springtime Menu-

In particular springtime gifts us with plenty of fresh eggs, onions, a variety of animals to catch, cattails and nettles.

Omelets with caramelized onions, cattail shoots with egg loaf made with cattail flour and honey is a favorite in our community.

Now that we have access to milk, making creamy nettle soup is nice paired with my bread and honey.

-Summertime Menu-

Summertime's gifts include dandelions, honey (lots of honey), a plethora of berries, a variety of wild root vegetables, a variety of wild greens, cattails are still collected this time of year and we gather crab apples. my children are quite the carnivorous bunch so they hunt often in during this time of year in preparation for fall and winter too. We also restock our herbs. Summer is such a busy time for us all.

Dandelion bread and honey are my favorites in particular this time of year. But I also like honey berry compote, with sliced crab apples, mixed berries and greens. Sauteed potatoes are nice with my bread as well.

My children are quite fond of salted meat. I'm quite sure the could be happy eating that everyday if they were allowed. They are learning that they like creamy sauces to pair with it as well. However, It's difficult to get them to eat their fruits and vegetables. This is a constant work in progress.

-Fall Menu-

Perhaps this is one of my favorite seasons because of all the mushrooms and garlic we collect. Such a cozy time of year. Again we have a plenty of root vegetables, salted meat, and eggs too. Eggs are a sort of year round thing when we can find them.

But this time of year we eat roasted mushrooms and potatoes, creamy potato soup, nuts, sauteed garlic mushrooms I add honey to mine, garlic mushroom omelettes with root vegetables. We also grind acorns into flour for bread.

My personal favorites are a hearty yet creamy mushroom root vegetable soup with garlic, and acorn bread with buttery garlic spread. I like to dip my bread in my soup often, 😌 It is a taste of warm comfort that is a treat for the soul. I do enjoy that combination very much.

-Winter Menu-

As you can imagine the winter can become difficult. That is why we prepare for it far ahead of time in the summer. However we still accept winters gifts too

During the winter we gather black walnuts, pine nuts, wild rose hips, hawthorne berries, juniper berries, wild cranberries, chick weed, pine needles and pine bark for flour.

I do enjoy spruce bread, however I do not indulge in honey this time of year, as it is strictly used for those who are sick. It is also in short supply. But I enjoy mixed nut butters with my bread, and I do like roasted walnuts with mixed winter berries.

My children still go for the salted meat, and oddly enough pine needle tea. I think they enjoy the bitterness of it. Harsher flavors do appeal to them the most. But they are coming around to trying other things.

My children are very picky in certain ways *I recall my fruit and vegetable struggles with them*

Though as you can see my tastes lean more towards comfort. I particularly enjoy fresh bread with equally fresh honey, and a side of soup. *A look of delight already graces my face* I may be the reason my family has developed an affinity for bread. I also could be responsible for helping my children find ways to make bread for each season.

Something else I might mention....

The ordeal with trading here in Mordor has been difficult. As we believe heavily in giving something of equal value in return for what we receive. We all pitch in to do our part to make our community function. I even work along side my children as well. We do not waste anything nor do we take more than we need. As I mentioned before we have had to survive via foraging for a very long time. That is an essential part of our culture. With that said we have been receiving things that make our seasonal menus much easier. Items like milk for cheese and cream have opened up a variety of options for my children and I.

My children recently discovered sandwiches with cheese we have made and they love them. *I chuckle fondly* 🥪

But, we also have received foods we cannot find in the wild that we can add to our preexisting menus. Cooking and baking equipment, have been helpful as well.

We all do our best to pay it forward. Though what we can offer is limited at the moment.

My children are very grateful for the kindness and tend to pay it back via helpful labor to the community whom was gracious to us. This is also a way to atone for the... Unhelpful behavior my children and I have displayed in the past. Yes, I even join them when I have time.

spring is a nice thing 🌷

cabbagejournalss - this is a remake of an earlier piece from around this time two years ago i never quite finished, featuring the addition of professor pollinator's younger twin siblings, twig and holly, on as lovely a spring day as you could imagine.

and cake tragedy

during those two years, dr. charlotte b. wigglebottom finally got her name, so i don't have to call her "the entomologist character" in my head anymore. i think twig and holly came into development just before the first piece was made, originally named jesse and juniper. i decided to give ollie a lackadaisical brother and sister, and just to torture him further, make them significantly taller than him. there may be another sibling who left farm life behind, i'm not sure yet, but these three serve as just a glimpse at the long and winding branches of the pollinator family tree.

i had a hard time with the first piece because i struggled with capturing light dappling in through the tree branches. i used a technique i learned in painting, to add the shadows in first and then to build the light after. i got around this by adding a dark color filter over the flat colors and then erasing where i wanted light. i definitely like the new one better but i still have a lot of work to do to better capture these effects. i also decided to scrap the little mushroom critters, which was unfortunate but i felt like i had a lot of tiny details already in a very busy composition.

i'm pretty happy with the improvements in the new background, in particular the shape of the tree. i referenced upa and revival style outdoor backgrounds (blessed be pinterest dot com). i've been very drawn to these backgrounds as the kind of feel i want to give this world, i really like the use of abstract and exaggerated shapes and giving color the authority to determine the mood of the scene and shapes of objects (ex from camp lazlo and powerpuff girls).

i also really like the textured brushstrokes, of which ps has an ample and exciting supply to help me create my favorite effects. i drew the lines in ibis paint because i like the varying line weights i get from a specific pen, but the brushes in ps are unbeatable. alas, i haven't explored them as much as i'd like because drawing at the computer kills my neck and shoulders. i suffered making this, and as much as i readjust my posture and roll my neck it still sucks, which is why i stopped drawing in ps almost entirely.

"A lot of people don't realize how a lot of fairytales are just..... weird. I can still understand the moral they are trying to instill in most but, a lot of them like Tale of the Juniper tree, Nightingale, or even The Princess and The Pea are..... very dated."

"That seems kinda obvious but, they tell us a lot about what nobility was like in that period which are kinda lost to most people. But.... I think that's why I like them so much. A lot of the weirder aspects like.... being very sensitive, divine right to rule, and retribution for crimes are themes in a lot of the stories because that was just the norm of the time and their justifications for keeping the status quo. It's why these stories have faded into obscurity but, things like Cinderella and Little Red Ridding hood have not. Those stories have themes more relevant despite the times. But, a lot of other stories have been butchered to modernize them and keep them relevant but, I think their original stories are just as interesting even if the age shows. There are so many more fairytales than what people realize too."

an ： i got tired in the end so this is gonna have multiple parts. this was originally written with the title amaryllis (a flower that represents one sided love I KNOW IM SUCHA GEEK) but i changed it last minute and I don’t have the energy to remove the underlying plant/flower theme

it was 2:09 am and there you were , sitting comfortably in your little rolly chair with a pen and paper and hundreds of unfinished and rejected drafts in your plastic trash bin.

usually at this time , you would be doing some sort of homework or writing paragraphs for school and such. tonight, you were certainly writing paragraphs. but for more.. personal reasons. you spent the past hour and a half trying to compose the perfect love letter for him. gojo satoru.

when you and satoru first met , it was the midst of summer. the humidity was probably messing with your head because at first sight , you had thought he wasn't real. i mean, he couldn't have been. he was the human embodiment of beauty. his azure gaze set on yours as your friend introduced him to you and you unintentionally confessed your “love” for him on spot. in reality , it was just your head thinking that you recognizing his beauty as instant love and just slipped out. as embarrassing as it was to have everyone hear your supposed to be inner thoughts come out of your mouth, you can't help but me grateful for that moment because that's when your friendship had begun to sprout.

summer is rough , but arguably the best part about it is that it's perfect beach weather. one of your classmates , juniper , had arranged a beach day and invited everyone in all of her classes , including you. this was one of the first ever events that you had been invited to that wasn't a family thing and you were super excited. you happily accepted this hangout invitation and went to the mall to get a new bathing suit.

bathing suit shopping was harder than you thought it would be. the stock followed the fashion trends and bikinis are totally in. the large collection of bikinis was overwhelming ( especially how revealing they were ) , but you had managed to find a modest white bikini with pink flowers printed nicely on the top and bottom.

the sun shined down upon the beautiful sandy beach and you had finally made it to the beach. you were glad you took this day to have a little beach day. you definitely needed it. you took out your towel and set it near juniper's towel , as she was really the only person you knew , even if it was just from one little interaction. "oh my gosh !!!!" a voice squealed behind you. "y/n !!! 'm so glad you could make it!!! i didn't think you'd come since you're such a loner , but i'm so glad you did." she smiled brightly. only she could be that backhanded while genuinely trying to be nice. "you need anything ? like sunscreen ... or water .. oh , and we have this new really coo-" she paused , distracted and dazed by something , or rather someone behind you. you awkwardly smiled at her ans took a glance behind you , and there he was. there stood the tall , white-haired man that you'd been dreaming about.

she dragged you over to the umbrella everyone was sharing and introduced you to her friends. "heyy !!!! guys , guys , guys! ya know that cute , quiet girl with h/c hair that i invited ?? meet y/n!" you greeted them all awkwardly with a small 'hey' or 'hi' and were returned with the same energy. you didn’t know anybody and you weren't very experienced with getting social with people so you couldn't hold a conversation very well either. however , when you went to greet another one of her friends , one specific word came to mind.

angelic.

gojo satoru was the embodiment of beauty , with charming facial features , distinctive blue eyes the color of the sky , along with a toned body , he was gorgeous. ethereal. you could already tell you would fall in love with him , hell , you already were.

but somehow , these thoughts got past your brain and instead came out of your mouth , heavily flattering the man before you .

and that was how you met your soon - to - be love of your life .

the water was perfect tempature for swimming. you dipped your foot in the water and then your leg and next thing you know , you're already shoulder deep. you're bored and everyone else was having a great time over at the umbrellas so you decided to look for shells to quell your bordem. ever since you were about 5 years old , you've always loved collecting shiny items such as keys , jewels , tin foil , coins and occasionally shells.

after a couple hundred seashells later , you find a clam and 5 seconds later , you find yourself desperately trying to pry it open , in hopes of finding a pearl.

unfortunately , due to your lack of muscle strength , the clam remained shut , unwilling to open up to the world. (sound familiar ?)

a shadow appeared above you , as well as a water droplet that fell on your nose. “y/n was it ?” a sultry voice said. you looked up at the source of the voice and low and behold it’s “gojo satoru. you can call me satoru. don’t think we’ve met before ,” he smirks. “besides you confessing your undying love for me earlier.” your cheeks turned red as you’re reminded of how you publicly embarrassed yourself in front of the whole graduating class of 2023.

“yes , you’re right , it’s y/n” you politely reply. “sorry for that , by the way. i didn’t mean to say that.” you smile awkwardly. “no reason to apologize ! and don’t worry about it , i get it all the time darling.” he cockily stated. “need a hand ?” you looked back down at your hands , still holding the clam. you had long forgotten about this calm , as you were enamored by his unique lavender scent. after all , smelling good is one of the best ways to instantly be more attractive.

“actually , yeah. i could use a hand.” you passed the shut clam to gojo and without a sweat , he opens it. inside is a pearl. a pink pearl to symbolize love.

autumn had arrrived. it was a few months into this friendship , you couldn't help but notice these small things he did for you that he didn't used to before , such as opening the door for you , playfully teasing you about small compliments and such. he had gotten more comfortable with you , and of course , so had you. he had given you support as a friend and had helped you gain some confidence and a crush from his compliments and unnecessary affection. you didn't think much of your newly developed crush yet , because although you two were good friends, you were miles away from him in social status , in beauty , in... everything , really. painful it was to have a crush on someone who could never like you back , he was still your friend and that would suffice for you. plus, you should get over this silly crush in a week or two, right ?

wrong. in the next month , your feelings seemed to grow even stronger than before. he had plucked the delicate petals of your heart just right and made you fall for him unknowingly. you were like putty in his hands , easily swayed by his flirtatious persona and handsome looks. he was the definition of beautiful and he knew it. you would never admit it to his face but , he was the most attractive person you'd ever seen. and it definitely didn’t help that people often mistook you for a couple.

you didn't even remember it yourself but today was your birthday and surprisingly enough , gojo had put on the sweetest ( figuratively and literally ) and most minimal birthday party ever, just the way you liked it. he got in by using the extra key underneath the doormat and sneakily set everything up.

when you got home , your 'best friend' was awaiting you near a bountifully filled dessert table, decorated with lavender scented candles (gojo’s signature scent) and soft pink chocolate pearls adorning the tiny cupcakes. your cheeks stain with shades of red and pink as you excitedly smile , in thought of how much effort gojo had put into trying to make your birthday a special day.

you and gojo went on to grow even closer. by september , he had become apart of your daily life at this point. every single day he showered you in love and affection and everyday, you fell twice as hard as the last. at this point , your so-called 'crush' had developed into something more and somewhere deep underneath your barricaded heart, you knew it.

first love was not something you had ever experienced until you met him. he constantly watered your starved heart and unknowingly blossomed something inside of you.

I had a funny thought today, I’ll be using Aohi and Mila as an example, but a friend and I made this silly au, where Aohi and her oc were both from a universe where they each date their enhypen, and we called it “multiverse hotline” — and it’s practically just a GC with different aus ocs where they just gush over the members of enhypen. For example: mila and Aohi would prob be able to chat on this GC somehow.
