lily feeling like a failure of a mother because her son--a part of her husband--isn't even happy.

lily eventually stopping crying openly because she knows it upsets eito and so she cries when she is alone at home or in the car.

lily wishing it was her instead of takeshi every single day of her life..

lilibet: regularly called an "angel" or "goddess" by locals. where there is light there is darkness. it dwells within her. it was born within her. she takes the darkness from others and brings it within herself and heals that need healing. she is two sides of the same coin and she would rather help others.. even if it hurt her. shadowy tendrils dwell beneath. her hair is opalescent in her demonic form. what heals can also hurt and she can plague someone with immense pain or nightmares should they decide to be disrespectful.

roh: demon of chaos and shadow. one granted refuge in the human world as he was (as much of an agent of chaos he was) not fond of the ways that were becoming in the underworld.

fell in love with a woman by the name of celine. a red haired and fiery woman. opinionated and loud. quite the opposite of him despite his tendency to be angry.

had a daughter by the name of lilibet. their only child. however, she seemed rather different than him. more "angelic" in nature.

btw, lily is always going to still be that same jokester. especially with puns. it's her thing and it will never go away. once she's comfortable, of course.

i am implementing some of noriko's characteristics more with lily since nori is a lot like her mother. not that lily would be immediately rude to someone, but she also isn't one to take shit (she wasn't one before but i kinda want to make it more pronounced in her). while noriko usually shows little to no care for people, lily is more open when it comes to communication.

i've come to connect with noriko a bit more and it helps me understand lily better. if that makes sense. as much as noriko might not think she is a lot like her mother, there is a lot of personality traits she got from her. considering i switched around her reaction and grief when it comes to satoru. she was more there for her kids and helping keep them on the right track. even if she had to be a little strict at times. lily was a prominent role model for noriko even if she wasn't necessarily close to her. the way lily reacted to negative things is how she reacts.

personality changes from lily

blinded and naïve-like cheeriness -> more wary with people. not as super cheery unless with people she is close to.

open but sacrifices her own feelings for the sake of others -> tends to disappear to go through her own personal feelings. more closed off.

warmth and embracing all -> still warm but she can be very cold when she needs/wants to be. embraces only those she feels is worth embracing to not be hurt in the end.

very helpful even to those that have bad intentions -> she is still helpful but she isn't as open as she was. as long as you have genuinely decent intentions, she will help you. this is to keep herself and others safe.

not super blunt -> very blunt. if she doesn't like something, or doesn't care for someone, it is pretty well known.

these are just a few that i've figured out.
