Emily handed you your coffee with a smile, receiving a small thank you in return. It was warm in your hands and created a comforting contrast to the cool chill of the police precinct you were set up in.

Things were going well given that you’d only been in the small town for half a day. The team debriefed on the plane, but Aaron had been on the phone with the leading detective for at least an hour now asking him where he was.

Emily headed off to the restrooms when a slender hand made its way to your waist. You turned and felt your cheeks heat, knowing exactly who is was.

“Hi Spencer.”

“Hi Y/n.” His eyes held sweetness in the chocolate swirls, and you felt like a kid who had been given candy. Spencer and you had been dating for a few months, but somehow in a team of profilers you both kept things under wraps, even with Spencer’s clumsy touches and your lingering stares. “I wish we were home,” he whispered.

You glanced around for anyone who could witness your interaction and get suspicious, but you were mostly alone other than Hotch and some officers who were weirdly taking a lot of attention to you.

“Yeah me too. I’m feeling oddly popular and not in the good way.”

Before you could talk more or offer him a sip of your coffee (even if you know he doesn’t like it), Aaron calls his name and the slim tall boy scurries away with a straight face.

You turn to find something to do. To reread a case, to help someone fill out papers, to talk to Morgan or Garcia. You would’ve opted to huddling in your cardigan if a tall man didn’t interrupt.

“Y/n L/n?” He asked in monotone. His arms were at his sides, one hovering above a pair of cuffs that hung from his police belt. Furrowing your eyebrows you answered,

“Yes? What’s wrong?”

“You’re under arrest for the robberies of…”

His voice pounded into the background of your head, thoughts attacking your eyes through a sudden headache as the words registered before you could help it. The room was silent except for the man’s voice, yet all you could hear was the furrow of eyebrows and quick approach of your boss, Aaron Hotchner.

“What’s going on here?”

“Your agent has been seen…”

You stood still as another officer came behind you and forced handcuffs onto your arms, gripping your wrists with unnecessary force that would surely leave bruises. You winced and looked between your boss and the officer, and then at Spencer, who was being pulled back by Morgan. He yelled your name in worry, witnessing the hardened grips on your body and rough pushing you were being subject to. Your coffee splattered on the ground, staining your white shoes.

There was only mumbles and white noise, as your eyes met with Spencer’s. The large officer behind you kicked your leg to get you moving, the shock glueing your shoes to the rubbery floor. And you almost didn’t even notice the hand on the back of your neck pushing you towards a dark room with a desk and two chairs.

You were so familiar with these rooms and yet it felt so different.

Of course, you didn’t actually do anything. And of course you attempt to clear that up to the officers who are slamming their hands on the table and screaming as much as they could, in a poor attempt to intimidate you.

Aaron was in the corner with a scolding face and hard hand to his chin, observing the situation with an intensity you barely ever see.

“Last month, you were seen at one of the houses that got robbed over night. You left a few days later, after also being seen at two of the other houses-“

“So she was seen at three of the ten houses robbed and you arrest her?” Aaron spoke up, bringing the men’s attention to your boss instead of you. You took the opportunity to look outside of the window.

Though it wasn’t clear, you could make out the outline of a tall boy you wished would just break into the room and save you.

And he did.

“Your evidence is illogical and childish. She’s an FBI agent for gods sake-“

“Anybody can be a suspect Agent Hotchner, even federal agents.” The tall one replied with a stubborn mumbled.

Suddenly, the door was slammed open and you were met with a disheveled Spencer panting with a red and severe face. He didn’t even bother looking at you before he starting schooling the men in blue, who at that point were glaring at him and attempting to look more intimidating than they actually were.

“I’ve read your files on this case and nothing links to Y/n L/n, not one-“

“There’s no way you read our-“

“I can read more in a minute than you can in a day, dickhead. Y/n was meeting old school friends when she was in town, we went to the Diner Inn afterwards and we met with her parents who have receipts for the meals because they’re-“ he turned his glance at you,” “sorry Y/n- they’re hoarders. You have nothing against her other than some positively reported visits and some photos of her hugging the house owners.” Spencer had slowly pinned the officers to the opposite wall unconsciously. It was hot. “I was there, I’m her receipt. And like her parents, she loves keeping those. So if you want to insist she’s your culprit, go for it. But your going against a man with eidetic memory and a lot of evidence.”

And while he was logical and correct, he was also a little too truthful.

The officers blinked in fear. Spencer definitely didn’t seem the type to yell or swear, so this clear, concise and undermining approach to the situation was somehow even scarier.

“Spencer,” you began, “thank you.”

He looked at you, his expression softening into empathy and care, “Of course.” His hands found a key in his back pocket as he approached you, starting to promptly uncuff you.

As Aaron continued to speak with the officers of their major mistake, Spencer took you outside of the room and into a private office. Your heart was racing, but it seemed Spencer was more stressed than you. He paced as you leaned onto the front of a wooden desk, hands over your chest as your eyes trailed Spencer.

“I’m sorry, Y/n. I should’ve reacted faster, then you wouldn’t have been..” He stopped closely in front of you, his breath hot on yours as his gaze scoured over your body for injuries or bruises. “Are you okay?”

You smile calmly, “I’m fine. My leg hurts, and I think my wrists will be bruised, but I’m fine.”

He took your hands and rubbed his thumbs on your wrists carefully, causing butterflies to explode in your stomach.

“Thank you Spencer.” Your eyes dance with each others. “You were really hot. Maybe I need to get arrested more often.” You joke with a lift to your voice and a smirk, causing him to look down with a smile and shake his head.

“If being angry makes me hot maybe you should reevaluate what you-“

Your lips found his, you hand going to his bicep and his going to the back of your neck, before a clearing of the throat took you both out of your trances. It was Hotch.

“I’ve got some paperwork you both need to sign. About the arrest and,” his hand waved between you two, “this.”

Morgan stood behind Aaron with a smirk, leaving quickly to go tell Garcia that she had lost their bet.

If only there was a single clue as to the author's race and gender in this book, but alas, we might never know...

Do people normally know/pay attention the race and gender of authors before they start reading them? Like depending on how you are defining book (y/n on web novels, comics ect) I'd say that even after reading I only find out for maybe 80% probably less. And usually I find out after I've read something I like and decide to look them up to find more stuff not before?

I'm always so, so fascinated by people who pretend it's somehow unreasonable to know a single identifying detail about the authors they read, as if they're somehow incapable of noticing things as simple as, say, an author's name, or their photo/bio that is virtually always somewhere in the book, or picking up a damn context clue from the book itself.

you're going to earnestly sit there and tell me that you'd see a name like Kazuo Ishiguro and not have a single clue about this person's race? or that you're incapable of taking two seconds to read a bio to notice that an author like Akwaeke Emezi uses they/them pronouns? you can't look at something like Iron Widow, a book that's science fiction but draws heavily and blatantly from Chinese history and mythology, and make the educated guess that the author is of Chinese descent?

all of that is just. completely and utterly impossible to suss out without purposefully looking up the author?

I am so excited for this post. If you follow my page you know that I love beauty astrology. I analyze so many charts to try and give examples and visual representation. So here are the most prominent aspects that I have seen on charts of many beautiful women. I will give examples of models, actresses and singers who are considered beautiful in pop culture.

Let’s start with Pluto.

Pluto ascendant aspect. Any of the aspects, harsh or harmonious, these aspects I’ve seen so prominent in the modeling world especially VS angels. Why? Pluto when aspecting the ascendant gives a very powerful beauty type. Long lean bodies and strong physiques. They have magnetism in their appearance. Pluto is a generational planet so these girlies appeal to a generation. They can command a room with their presence. Ex: any of the VS angels. Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington.

Now let’s talk about Venus.

Venus Conjunct ascendant. This aspect is considered beautiful in general. It’s Venus after all. It gives these women beauty and femininity. Ex: Bella Hadid, Angelina Jolie, Rihanna, Grace Kelly, Selena Gomez, Charlize Theron, Sandra bullock, Sabrina Carpenter.

Honorable mention, any Venus ascendant aspect harsh or harmonious. These women are just beautiful. Venus blesses them with feminine beauty. Ex: Barbara Palvin, Jennifer Lawrence, Sara Sampaio.

Now when you put Venus and Pluto together.

Pluto Conjunct Venus gives big beautiful facial features. Venus is beauty and Pluto is magnetism. These girls have almost doll like facial features. They look beautifully unique. Big eyes, big lips, Small noses. They are the Bratz dolls. Ex: Billie Eilish, Kendall Jenner, Pia Wurtsbach, Emily browning, Kristy Hume, Khloe Bridges, Lily Aldridge, Blanca Padilla.

Of course we can’t forget about Neptune.

When moon aspects the ascendant, it gives feminine, round, and full features. Soft feminine bodies and wide hips, “Birthing hips”. These women posses a face that can express emotions. Again, any aspect. This is another prominent aspect in the modeling industry. It’s crazy how many models have them. Body, Beauty, Confidence, period. They are intimidating because of how much sex appeal they carry. Ex: Naomi Campbell, Dautzen Kroes, Shalom Harlow, Kate Moss, Blanca Padilla, Kendall Jenner, Tyra banks, Jasmine Tookes, Lily Aldridge, Valentina Sampaio.

Let’s talk about Black moon Lilith.

Black moon Lilith aspecting Ascendant. All aspects. This aspect is so prominent in pop culture. Female beauty symbols and sexual empowerment. Models, actresses, pop stars they all posses a Lilith aspect. This is one that has always been portrayed on screen as a Femme Fatale, a witch, and a sex symbol. These women posses allure that can attract masses. Their mysterious aura leads people to adore them or sexualize them. They’re confident in their sexual empowerment. Ex: Lily Rose Depp, Christina Hendricks, Jessica Alba, Samantha Robinson, Meghan the stallion, Elizabeth Olsen, Alex Consani, Alessandra Ambrosio, Letitia Casta, Gisele Bundchen, Sabrina Claudio, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Claudia Schiffer, Natalie Portman, Olivia Rodrigo, Tate MCrae, Christina Aguilera, Emma Roberts, Ashwarya Rae, Anya Taylor Joy, and so many others I could write a whole page.

Aspects that I don’t see talked about enough are Harmonious Ascendant Aspects to Eros. Conjunction, Trine, and Sextile. These girls posses an erotic beauty. They are so sultry that you can feel it in their presence and bodies. They’re the ones that Men Fantasize about. Many Men Have probably C*m to them. They are erotic and sensual. They are real beauties. Ex: Monica Bellucci, Rose Mcgowans, Tate Mcrae, Catherine Zeta Jones, Miranda Kerr, Madelyn Clein, Candice Swanepoel, Sabrina Claudio. Cindy Kimberly, Angelina Jolie, Kate moss.

I think I will make this a Part 1. These are just aspects that I have analyzed and seen in the Charts of all the girlies that are mentioned. Almost every beauty in pop culture has one or more of these placements. There’s many other planets and Asteroids I haven’t had a chance to analyze. I love to give visual examples of the girls that carry these placements. So it takes a while to research and gather them. Maybe all do a part 2 analyzing Uranus, Sun, many beauty asteroids and planets aspecting the 1st and 8th house. Depending on how many likes this post gets. just a short one to get me out of a slump, it’s cutesy, classic sick comfort fic. v short.

“Honey, you know how many germs I have right now, you really don’t have to be here.” You batted your eyelashes up at him from your deteriorating state on the couch.

Spencer ignored the nickname, or simply didn’t register it in his worry, “The longer you’re sick the more time the virus has to reproduce and evade your dying immune system. I have to learn to deal with it in order for you to get better.” Spencer spieled, pacing in front of you while wringing his hands.

“Spence, I can take care of myself.” You pleaded, more concerned about his comfort than yours.

“But I want to take care of you. I just have to pretend like you’re not sick when you really are. Badly sick. I don’t like it.”

“You don’t like pretending?” Head tilted, you tightened the blanket around your shoulders.

“I don’t like you being sick. I can deal with germs. I investigate dead bodies most of the time, I’ll be fine. You won’t be.”

You smiled, “Wow. Way to kill my immune system’s confidence.”

“Sorry, I’m trying to pep talk you and myself.” He stopped pacing and looked directly at you, regarding your figure with much concern.

“I know. You’re doing well. I already feel better.” You nodded to encourage him. Things like this was new to him, caring for someone he knew would reciprocate, so you didn’t want him to become insecure about it.

“That’s impossible. You’re still,” he places his hand on your forehead and you sniffle, “burning up.”

“Are you saying I’m hot?”

“Temperature wise, yes. And if you’re trying to insinuate me finding you attractive than yes, that too. I just don’t like the word ‘hot’ to describe you.”

“Why?” Your voice is audibly snotty, it makes you cringe.

“Because you’re not a temperature, you’re a beautiful woman. Who is sick, and needs honey tea.” He places a finger on his lips in thought and nods at his own idea.

“Spence?”

His eyes dart up at the sudden use of his name, “Yeah?”

“I love you.”

His anxious motions halted and his ears reddened, he looked down with a tiny smile that hurt your heart with cuteness aggression. You sneezed very loudly, your leg jerking along with it.

“I love you too. Now, I’m making you tea and some noodles. You sit there and look beautiful.”

What scenes do you enjoy writing the least? Have there been times when you've written and cried? Do you write in silence or to music?

What scenes do you enjoy writing the least?

Usually complicated ensemble action fight scenes (i.e. lots of people doing lots of action-y things at the same time) and as a follow-on from that, any sex scene that involves more than two people (Too. Many. Fucking. Limbs to keep track of!)

I also really struggle with introducing a lot of characters at the same time. The two chapters that really stand out are both from The Court of Five Thrones, the first is introducing all of Gwyn's war generals in like chapter 3 or 4, and the second is introducing the Coalition of the Classless later on. Those chapters can't help but be a little bit infodumpy, and I still wish I'd taken more time to develop those characters and/or change the way that was done.

It's also why I haven't really done anything like it again, since.

Have there been times when you've written and cried?

Oh absolutely. A lot of the time it's the same emotional beats that often make some readers cry. I'm really cautious around it though. I know that if a chapter makes me cry or really breathless etc. while I'm writing it, it probably needs more editing than a chapter that doesn't. Because a lot of the time when writers really feel something, they're often thinking the words they're writing (vs. the scene and words in their head) is the reason, but the reality is that might actually being missing the details* that create the strong emotion in the writing, because it's the scene that creates the feeling. So those chapters I go back to a lot to make sure there's enough like... what I like to think of as emotional scaffolding, to make sure I try to help the reader to feel as immersed as I did.

There's never been anything that makes me sob, but I'm not really that kind of person. But a lot of things make me teary, or caught up in the moment the way a character might be. I actually look forward to those scenes a lot, because I read and write for emotional beats and a level of catharsis, and writing like that can feel powerful.

*One of the things I've noticed the most, is editing and sentence structure becoming really sloppy during the writing of a lot of porn/erotica scenes by writers who perhaps don't yet realise that it's normal for writing quality to get worse when you're really "in the moment" (which includes arousal too). This applies to any scene that creates strong emotion. It's kind of like how a teary singer can make a song more powerful or their voice can break and they lose their way in the song and have to stop singing until they get control back. An emotional writer can lose their way when trying to create a connection between themselves and the words and the reader and the words. It's normal for writers who are feeling strong emotion to lose control of the quality of their writing, it's important they realise if they're an author who does this, and go back and provide the emotional scaffolding in the words for others too.

Do you write in silence or to music?

I have to write with music. I can't write without it! That's why I have so many playlists for my stories. It's not actually because I want readers to listen to playlists, it's because I need playlists to write to. Sometimes I'll even put the same song on repeat 1, and listen to it 30 times in a row for a chapter. My Spotify Wrapped is always profoundly influenced by what I was writing that year.

The insane story of how Pia was cast as Elisabeth

"Still completely overwhelmed by the offer to play this role - not just any role, but the main role in a world premiere - I began to study not only the book of the play, but also the story of Elisabeth of Austria. [...] What is the historical truth, which real figures are behind the roles in the musical? All of these questions suddenly became relevant to me, and I found all of the answers to them in Hamann's books. [...] While studying the countless photos of Elisabeth in the picture section of the book, one particular image suddenly took my breath away. When I looked at the photo of the empress's death mask, I thought I recognized the delicate facial features of my colleague Pia Douwes.

What happened next is something Pia still likes to tell as an anecdote. After a performance of Les Misérables, I showed up in a coffee house with that book in my hand, put it on the table in front of Pia, turned to the page with the picture of the death mask and said: "Pia, look, that's definitely you!" She replied, somewhat piqued: "Hello, Uwe, that's a death mask and I'm sitting here and I'm still alive. Thank God!" Despite my uncharming comparison, she couldn't deny a certain resemblance. Apparently, that evening I spent a long time chatting to her about all the details I already knew - the musical and the historical details about the empress. A plan had been maturing in my mind for a long time: I wanted to stand on stage alongside Pia in the role of the empress, or at least I could imagine it very well. In Vienna, the castings for the title role had long been underway and were almost complete, but Pia nevertheless began to put out feelers through contacts in the scene. Names like Dagmar Hellberg and Daniela Ziegler had already been mentioned, and the division of the role within the play between a young and an old empress was also being considered. [...]

As chance or fate would have it, director Kupfer had to go to the Amsterdam Opera for work, and so he and his production team, including Viktor Gernot, who had flown in especially for the role of the already-cast Emperor Franz Joseph, took the opportunity to conduct a casting for the title role on site. After Pia had sung "Wie du" and "Ich gehör nur mir", everything was clear for Sylvester Levay, who was also present at this important decision. The subsequent duet with Gernot was just a formality."

Firstly you guys need to listen to Pia-no-jac Paradiso. It's like listening to Geto's brain and this person is so right in that you can definitely track his breakdown through it.

Gojo on the other hand is like reading him come to terms with his loss of Geto and his youth and strive to make the world better for his students. It's emotional and beautiful.

Just urghhhh it makes so much sense Gege is a fan of tragic BLs and used it to inspire this because my GOD.

1. What made you ship it?

it's just so so so so canon... i've always shipped it like since first reading the series but i had kind of forgotten about it until my reread a couple years ago. i didn't post much about it through agot and acok but was really smitten throughout asos and am now fully tyribronn pilled and have a cutesie little oneshot i'm working on.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

i love how enamored bronn is with tyrion. i love that he likes him. he like his sense of humor, he like spending time with him. he follows him like a shadow. i like that he's just so outwardly fond of tyrion in a way few characters are. and tyrion talks about bronn in his own internal narration like he's describing a femme fatale. catlike, lithe, graceful, dark eyed. his dark, insolent smile. bet you wanna kiss it right off his smarmy face, huh, tyrion?

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

having this ship is an unpopular opinion. but we can change that. we can improve this world. we can convert and recruit as aggressively as possible!!!

1. What made you ship it?

there's just a strong vibe imo. i was serious when i said i think they 💏but i think it's, uh... more. violent. than that emoji might suggest. i have my suspicions on how rorge lost his nose i'll say that.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

this is not something i ship with any sort of, like. interiority. i just know they were 💏 because i have read the words on the page with my eyes and seen what was there to see.

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

i have genuinely never seen another human person post about this ship ever until pia mentioned it in response to an anon a little while ago. if there are any rorge/biter warriors out there make yourselves known to me i wish to hear your theories and insights.
