✮ late nights of saving the city paired with the added stress of work causes peter’s temper to teeter on the edge of a full-blown screaming match. and add an off day coming from you, the two of you aren’t exactly seeing eye to eye. 

✮ it starts with a few sassy remarks from your boyfriend which causes you to raise an eyebrow at his tone. you chose to push it aside at first, blaming it on yourself; maybe i just heard him wrong? 

✮ but when it happens again when you ask him a simple question about groceries, you don’t back off this time.

✮ sure, maybe you could’ve been nicer in the way you asked what the fuck his problem was, but that’s for another time. 

✮ next thing you know, he’s throwing his arms out in frustration as his hands are moving swiftly as he speaks. and suddenly, a conversation about groceries has become a yelling match about everything.

✮ as hard as you try to keep them at bay, tears creep into your waterline while your throat starts to tighten with each word. 

✮ peter can see you fighting off your emotions as you try to keep it together. with each tear that spills over your cheeks, his anger and frustration begin to deplete until all he feels is regret for being the reason why you’re crying. his only priority is to take care of you. 

✮ you can feel peter’s embrace before you see it, your tears clouding your vision. faint whispers of ‘i’m sorry’ are flooding your senses. and though you usually crave his touch, right now though, it was all too much. you sob into his chest, and in response, he pulls you in impossibly tighter. 

✮ you guys will talk about this in the morning, so when you look over at the clock for the time, you feel the night's exhaustion weigh on you. 

✮ for the rest of the night, peter lays next to you, but he’s wide awake. he doesn’t go out that night, guilt eating at his conscience. peppering little kisses on your skin, you doze off into a dreamless sleep, awaiting the conversation to happen when you wake.

ltrly !! as fun as ships are, i think some of the most fun && memorable moments are between the platonic dynamics ?! i also think that at times romantic dynamics can plateau w/out angst whereas w ur good ol’ flshed out, platonic dynos are always gonna be there !! but like lexi said sometimes it rly depends on the forum ur writing in, but tbh in a group setting i am all for putting more emphasis on platonic relationships !!!! i would like to see it !

        agreed ! i am obsessed with real immersive dynamics which is so important to me in creating a real character & i think players rly do get obsessed w/ the idea of romantic ships more than platonic ships & idk i get bored of romantic plots so easily unless they’re slow burns. so for me fun , fleshed out , platonic dynamics ? good to me ! which i think there’s obviously the exception in 1x1′s , soulmate rps , & indie’s but even then ? platonic narratives are fun ! friend breakups are fun ! let it happen in game !
