Do you know if this is true? I believe I read it somewhere but I can’t rmeneber but someone had pointed out that the way jungkook massages Jimins neck and his shoulders is specifically learnt for his chronic pain, that the way he does those things for him have been learnt externally with the intention of easing Jimins pain (honestly I wouldn’t even be shocked because their love for each other is too much) and it wouldn’t be surprising because jungkook who loves jimin would totally do that for him.

The best I got for you love:

TLDR: Basically that is said because that's what it looks like to people who either get massages for pain therapy or who do them. But it's never been explicitly said anywhere that JK learned. It's more like an observation kinda thing that is likely true, but not explicitly stated fact.

Biography

As a kid, Jimin used to have lots of hobbies, following anything that piqued his interest. However, when he discovered dance, he realized this was his calling and took lessons for two years while in middle school before getting into Busan High School of Arts. He interrupted his scolarity once he got recruited by Big Hit. He’s the last member to have joined BTS, two years before their debut. Always hard-working, Jimin has illustrated himself through his dance and his acrobatic figures but he also know for his kindness towards the members and the fans.

Jimin's first self-composed song "Promise" gains popularity by surpassing 331 million streams on SoundCloud.

As of September 23 "Promise," holding two Guinness World Records, has surpassed 331 million streams on SoundCloud, the world's largest music-sharing platform. The song, released in 2018, set a new record for the most streamed track within 24 hours of its release and is officially listed in Guinness as the most-streamed song on the platform.

Upon its release, the explosive popularity of "Promise" led Australian music media to dub Jimin the 'BTS FRONTMAN,' generating widespread attention and headlines around the globe. After reaching first place in SoundCloud streaming worldwide in 2021, "Promise" has firmly maintained its position as the "King of SoundCloud."

Due to the continuous love and support from fans, the song was officially released on music sites in March of this year. It simultaneously reached the top of the Worldwide iTunes 'Top Songs' chart and ranked first in iTunes in 60 countries worldwide.

"Promise" debuted at 18th on the US Billboard 'Digital Song Sales' chart and second on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, staying on the chart for four weeks. I'm so sad that BTS will be back in 2025. Two years are so long. Even my fish cannot make it for 2 years. RIP for my fish.

Last night, I just listened to all the BTS songs again, like running over all the albums. And I still cannot believe I will not be able to see my boys in these 2 years. I miss how their songs cheer me up in my darkest days.

Right now, I'm just experiencing another breakdown in my life, as the one that I'm relying on will disappear for a while. However, please remember you can also be your light as you promise with Jimin.

This song is dedicated to Army, which is the name to describe BTS's fans. Jimin wants to tell their fan that you have to love yourself and be your own guidance light in their lives. When you listen to this song, you can feel that Jimin is not only delivering this message to the fan but also talking to himself. 

There are not a lot of instruments in this song. Only using a guitar to create how raw and truthful Jimin is to express his feelings with the Army. He's never confident with his voice. I mean, WTF?? Jimin, you have an angel-like voice that is so smooth to listen to, especially at night, which even cures depression.

Hi storm!

I came across a compilation video of JK massaging Jimin's neck and back 🥺 (my memory's a bit fuzzy but I think I've read your older posts about JK being in tune whenever JM was in pain and your exp with chronic pain as well) and I was wondering if Jimin's chronic pain had been evident in the newest content? I'm assuming it was more noticeable before bec of the huge amount of content prior covid but I was curious if you've seen or heard anything about it recently.

Hi, nothing explicit has been shared or said with us by Jimin, the others or staff lately through any of the other content released about Jimin's Chronic pain. In the recent concerts though, we did see that he was wearing KT tape for support and pain management through the concert as well in places he had in the past and some of the places we know he has pain, his back and shoulder areas. Along with some other areas, but I don't think we saw tape anywhere else. It's also used for athletes and dancers to help with pain and stiffness in areas during high performance and cool down times. So it makes sense we see it on him on stage. For ex:

And this isn't new, but just an additional thing to share is from behinds of run bts ep 70, Jimin shared with us his different exercising routine he started with before getting into more intense routines because his trainers told him he had to and it was important. Today in Seoul while walking home I heard an older man who was working out play Promise by Jimin really loud on his headphones.

I was just walking home to my hostfamily and was kinda nervous because Seoul is such a huge city and and it's in the middle of the night in a foreign county.

When I saw this older guy jogging. He was running in my direction and the closer he got the more I heard that he was playing a song really loud. Finally he was close enough and it turns out he's playing "Promise by Jimin".

You never know who's an Army.
