カミヤデザインの新しい一輪挿し、新色が入荷。紫がひとつふたつ混ざるだけで、秋の気配を感じる色合いに感じております。

向こうが透けて見えるので、白っぽい壁を背景に飾ると色を楽しめそうです。

カミヤデザインは、アクリル加工工場が母体。アクリルを使った商品開発に力を入れております。

今回の一輪挿しは、『端材を使い切る』ことも、デザインコンセプトに含まれているそうです。

002.イタリアの花器

エメラルドグリーンが特徴的な花器。

その口からして一輪挿しとしての使用が適任であろう。

この花器を販売されていた店主の方曰く、イタリア生まれであるそう。

下部を見たところ、若干擦れてはいるが「ITALY」の文字を確認できる。

模様が特徴的で、目が連なっているかと錯覚したが花の模様が正解であるよう。

不気味な特徴が一転、とても美しい柄となっている。

この存在感は、大江戸骨董市を訪れた僕を魅了した。

ナチュラルなものと飾るも良し。真っ赤な一輪の花も似合いそう。

The Inevitable

(a Xie Yuchen POV ficlet / internal monologue)

There was a boy who used to come and play around my house. His grandmother was my grandfather’s cousin. When he met me for the first time, he asked me to marry him. “Xiao Hua is a pretty name. My name is Wu Xie, do you want to be my bride?”

I told him I’d consider it, and it made him very happy. He immediately ran into the parlor where his uncle was having tea with my uncle and announced to all the adults of our two families, “I’m going to marry Xiao Hua when I grow up!”

The adults laughed.

But then one day, his uncle and mine went on another tomb excavation, but only his uncle returned. After that, the boy stopped coming to our house.

A decade later, Wu Xie’s uncle disappeared as well. On our search for the truth behind the tragedies that have plagued our families for the past three generations, I met Wu Xie again.

“So you are Xiao Hua?”

I’m no longer the little girl he met a decade ago. I’m now the widely feared head of the Xie family, a cunning and ruthless figure in the dark world of grave robbers and black market antiques. But he is still the innocent and trusting young master Wu. It saddened me to see that even he could not avoid our shared fate, that even he was bound to eventually follow in his uncle and grandfather’s footsteps and enter my world.

He was the light we all tried to protect, my little fiancé. I wanted him to live a normal life, to stay out of the family business. But it seems like some things cannot be avoided.

He met Zhang Qiling, and there was no turning back after that, even when all things reached their inevitable end.

He said he will wait a decade for that man. And since that is Wu Xie’s decision, I will wait with him. We will all be there, the old nine families, when ten years have passed, to see if the head of the Zhang family would keep his promise this time around.

How many decades do we have in a lifetime?

Shifu was right. The head of the Zhang family cannot be trusted lightly. But when he lights a candle, everyone will follow him into the darkness.

営業中。何だか秋の気配を感じる空気。お盆過ぎると秋になるのだから当然とはいえ、今年は残暑が厳しめと聞いているので、秋の待ち遠しさは格別な年になるのかな。

お盆の帰省、お疲れ様です。今年は江古田へ帰省する若夫婦が増えるかもしれないので、お盆は水曜定休の他は普通に営業予定です。
