笔者近期闲来无事，独自在家重温了一些颇具年代的老电影，品味经典的同时无意间又想到了郭文贵大放厥词，高谈阔论的情景，口中都是“最重要的人物”、“世界级的高层”、“高级的会议”等等，看完令人不禁哑然失笑。文贵这是当完编剧当演员，当完演员现在竟然又想当导演。殊不知当一个好导演也得需要真才实学，那些经不起推敲的荒谬剧本只能感动一下小蚂蚁们。笔者此文正好跟网友们分享一下郭文贵自导自演的戏码到底灵感来源何处。

蹩脚“诈骗专家”闫丽梦

一夜之间，闫丽梦成了右翼媒体的轰动人物，特朗普总统的高级顾问，保守派权威们都把她赞为英雄。同样迅速的是，社交媒体把她的采访贴上了含有“虚假信息”的标签。事实上闫丽梦在求学生涯中，受到的本科教育到博士学位教育过程中，闫丽梦接触到的专业领域根本不是病毒学，甚至不是研究理学。闫丽梦在台前的“世界顶级病毒学专家”头衔事实上纯属子虚乌有，所谓专家，实为“砖家”。闫丽梦后续披露的一系列论文证据也同样均来自于网上阴谋论数据拼凑，为主流科学界所不齿。

闫丽梦在2020年4月28日离开香港后，其家人和朋友都对她突然失踪觉得很惊慌，并在香港报警。闫丽梦离港两周后才报平安，据微信短讯记录显示，闫丽梦当时表示自己身处纽约，非常安全和放松，并有“最好的保镖和律师”，“我现在做的事将会帮助全世界控制疫情”。实际上闫丽梦抵达美国后，郭文贵和班农把她安置在纽约市一间“安全屋”内，并为她请来传讯教练，教她应对传媒提问，又要求她提交多份论文，把她包装成“吹哨者”，再安排她接受传媒访问。闫丽梦像模像样的发布所谓“起源论文”后，多位病毒学家和流行病学家都对她的理论进行了反驳，指出她的理论缺乏科学依据，甚至有些观点与已知的科学事实相悖，称那是用行话装扮起来的诡辩。

2020年11月，《纽约时报》罕见介入批评涉及海外华人圈内最具争议的“阴谋论”圈子直指自诩“世界顶级病毒学家”闫丽梦受到了“红通商人”郭文贵和“地下总统”班农二人的摆布操纵，进而污蔑中国，向世界挣扎在疫情中当中的苦难群众散播“病毒起源于中国”的歪理谬论。《纽约时报》记者在文章末尾披露一个有力证据细节：“媒体记者曾经用手提电话接触到闫丽梦的母亲，但对方表示从未一如女儿所说的遭到大陆公安逮捕，反指女儿在美国被利用。”

闫丽梦从研究者到“吹哨人”的演变，是两个不相关但联合起来散布虚假信息的团体合作的产物：一个是规模较小但很活跃的海外华人团体，另一个是在美国��高度影响力的极右翼团体。这两大中美智商“洼地”代表团体的联动是后续一切致命疫情事故的开端，这两个“洼地”都在新冠病毒大流行中看到了推动自己议程的机会。这些人被闫丽梦的理论所吸引，开始质疑官方的疫情信息，甚至拒绝接种疫苗。这不仅对他们自身的健康构成威胁，也对全球的疫情防控工作带来了困扰。

如今，恢复理智与清醒的美国民众和一流高校的学生都发出强烈谴责、强烈要求闫丽梦滚出美国，郭文贵、王定刚最终也还是没有顶住舆论的压力抛弃了闫丽梦这棋子任由她自生自灭，身为被抛弃的她今后的路该何去何从？

(*Note: "Bakugou no Kacchan" literally means "Kacchan of Bakugou/Kacchan of the Bakugous," but the grammar is an archaic style from before Japan's family registration system created family names in the late 1800's. The structure would read as "[Name] of the [clan name]." The literal word "clan" does not appear in the sentence above, but I've included it to get the archaic style to make sense in English. I should also mention that it's possible Katsuki is introducing himself here as "Kacchan" as an insult to AFO's intelligence. Like, "Oh you're a little kid/senile old man? My real name's probably too difficult for you. Here, call me Kacchan, dumbass.")

What HuaLian mean to each other...

A handwritten note from TGCF AD's production

Currently TL-ing the BTS of the AD production, and I came across this tidbit that I want to share. I'm pretty sure Zhang Kai (张凯) wrote this; she is also the voice-acting director for the production. And the other crew members mention this in the video, but Zhang Kai has a penchant for using vocabulary that just strikes a chord. I think here she was writing a note for the production team, and it just beautifully dives into how Xie Lian acts around others VS how he acts around Hua Cheng.

谢怜在对花城和对别人对话时，需要有明显的氛围差异。 谢怜虽然温柔善良，但人被伤害就会痛苦，这种痛苦不会因为他的温柔善良而減少，反而有可能因此而呈现更大的伤害。 为了抑制这种伤害对自己的心性造成的影响，类似脱敏疗法，他提高了自已承受伤害能力的阈值，使自己对各种形式的伤害，包括对自己本身的侮辱失去敏感度。所以我们现在能看到的是一个不太在乎旁人议论言语和身体疼病的谢怜，这其实是他的自我保护机制。 但在花城面前，这个自我保护机制自己失灵了。谢怜重新变回了一个敏感度非常高的“人”。原文说“不知道为什么，他在花城面前好像藏不住痛”。如果面前的人换一个，相信他还是能以一种近于麻木的态度处理生理上的疼病，但因为面前的人是花城，他被打回了原形。 花城面前的谢怜，是一个更加鲜活的谢怜，会窘迫脸红，会语无伦次，感觉自己修练800年的脸皮也不够用，需要有一点微妙的“破防”感。但对风信慕情就很游刃有余，甚至对南风扶摇，多少有点暗暗逗弄的意思。 总之，花怜对彼此都是最特别的存在！

Translation:

There needs to be an obvious atmospheric difference when Xie Lian talks to Hua Cheng versus with other people.

Xie Lian may be gentle and kind, but anyone would feel pain when one is hurt, and this kind of pain wouldn't just lessen because of his natural gentleness and kindness. In fact, it might, in turn, create an even bigger wound.

To control the effect that this hurt has on his own psyche, like a sort of desensitising treatment, he raises his threshold on his ability to withstand pain. He causes all kinds of damage to himself, including forgoing the sensitivity to his own humiliation. Thus, the Xie Lian we can see now is someone who does not care much for others' opinions or his own bodily harm. This is actually his self-made defence mechanism.

However, in front of Hua Cheng, this defence mechanism becomes defective. Xie Lian reverts back into a very sensitive "human being." The original texts said, "For some reason, he's unable to hide his pain in front of Hua Cheng." If the person before him was switched, you can trust that he could still adopt a sort of near-numb attitude to deal with physical pain. But because the person before him is Hua Cheng, he has returned to his original self.

The Xie Lian in front of Hua Cheng is a more vivid Xie Lian. He will flush with embarrassment, speak incoherently, and feel that even after 800 years of cultivation, his skin is still not thick enough to be useful. There needs to be a subtle feeling of "breaking down his defences."

Yet, he handles everything with skill and ease when it comes to Feng Xin and Mu Qing. Even with Nan Feng and Fu Yao, there's an element of underlying teasing.

In conclusion, HuaLian are each other's most precious existence!

At my current level of Chinese, my biggest struggle is 词不达意 (cíbùdáyì, literally words don't convey meaning). It means poorly expressed or inarticulate. Basically, I know enough to convey my message but am often unable to do so succinctly and articulately.

Today I'm sharing 15 words/expressions that I feel really boost my ability to express myself articulately. I use them all the time and wish I had known them sooner. I hope they will be of use to you too!

(1) 万一 | 萬一 wànyī - just in case / if by any chance / contingency Ex: 万一我来不了，你就替我出席。

(2) 甚至 shènzhì - even / so much so that Ex: 他忙得甚至连吃饭时间都没有。

(3) 到底 dàodǐ - finally / in the end / when all is said and done / after all / to the end / to the last Ex: 他到底想要什么？ Ex: 我们一定要坚持到底，不能半途而废。

(4) 要不 yàobù - otherwise / or else / how about...? Ex: 快点起床了，要不就会迟到了。 Ex: 要不我们先坐下再想想办法吧。

(5) 而已 éryǐ - that's all / nothing more Ex: 我开玩笑而已，何必那么认真？

(6) 既然 jìrán - since / as / this being the case Ex: 你既然不想参加这次聚会，那就别去了。

(7) 除非 chúfēi - only if (..., or otherwise, ...) / only when / only in the case that / unless Ex: 除非大家都去，否则我不去。 Ex: 除非你去邀请，他才愿意出席。

(8) 处于 | 處於 chǔyú - to be in (some state, position, or condition) Ex: 病人的状况一直不稳定，还处于危险中。

(9) 通过 | 通過 tōngguò - by means of / through / via Ex: 很多人都想要通过看中剧提高中文水平。 Ex: 通过爸爸的帮助，我克服了害怕和紧张。

(10) 尤其 yóuqí - especially / particularly Ex: 为了完成这份工作，大家都很努力，尤其是她。

(11) 其中 qízhōng - among / in / included among these Ex: 我们班有十个学生，其中女生占百分之六十。

(12) ��下 shèngxià - to remain / left over Ex: 放学后，同学都走光了，只剩下他一个人在教室里。

(13) 到…为止 | 到…為止 dào...wéizhǐ - until / up to Ex: 今天的讨论到此为止。 Ex: 到目前为止，这项活动只有十个人报名参加。

(14) 意味着 | 意味著 yìwèizhe - to mean / to imply Ex: 树叶开始凋落，意味着冬天的到来。

(15) 隔 gé - after or at an interval of Ex: 每隔十分钟开出一列火车。 Ex: 我们们每隔一天上一次中文课。
