読書の魅力とは、分け隔てをしない点にあるのではないかと女王は考えた。文学にはどこか高尚なところがある。本は読者がだれであるかも、人がそれを読むかどうかも気にしない。すべての読者は、彼女も含めて平等である。…（中略）…本は何者にも服従しない。

騒がしい犬たちに導かれ、女王は宮殿の中に停まっている移動図書館と出会う。『愛の追跡』を借りてからその面白さに傾倒し、女王は読書にのめりこんでいく。これを読んでいたらあの人ともっと話ができたのにと後悔し、その遅れを取り戻すべく読み続ける。読書家には共感しまくりの一冊だった。本から感受性や人の心の機微を学んだことにより、知的な面で向上しただけでなく、メイドを気遣うようになるなど他人の気持ちを理解できるようになっていく。読んでいる間も読み終わってからも、「もっともっと本を読みたい！」という気持ちが強くなった。

　ミカエル・ベネットはコロラド州選出の上院議員だ。民主党の有力議員で２０１９年には大統領予備選にも出馬したがすぐに撤退した。

　ベネットはＣＮＮのインタビューに答えて言い放った。

　「ドナルド・トランプ氏は１１月の大統領選挙で圧勝するばかりか共和党が上院と下院を制するだろう」（７月９日）。「これは世論調査の問題ではない。政治の問題でもない。我が国の将来に関する道徳的な問題だ」と余計なことも付け加えたが。

「トランプとバイデンの討論会以来、ホワイトハウスは選挙に勝とうという計画もない。問題はバイデンの選挙戦展開次第で、上下両院に選挙に深刻な影響が出ることだ」とベネットは付け加えた。

ＯＤＤでもバイデンへの「賭け金は空前の高値」。つまり、誰もバイデンが勝つとは予測していない実態は、ＯＤＤにあらわれる。ネットの賭けである。世間では民主党支持者ですら「バイデン氏は民主党をめちゃくちゃにした」との感想を持っている。

リチャード・ブルーメンソール上院議員（コネチカット州民主党）は、「バイデン氏が全面的な支持を得るためには、議員らを納得させなければならないだろう」と語った。つまり絶望的だと遠回しに表現しているのである。

　ニュージャージー州選出の民主党下院議員、ミッキー・シェリルも「バイデン氏に退いてもらい、別の民主党候補を支持するよう求める」とする声明を発表した。

ABCニュースのキャスター、ジョージ・ステファノプロスは「バイデン氏があと4年間大統領を務められるとは思わないと語った。

ペロシ前下院議長も「はやく辞任を再検討するべきだ」と示唆し、俳優のクローニー（ハリウッドで民主党支援資金集めの主宰者）もはっきりと出馬辞退を要求した。

バイデンの不出馬宣言はおそらく７月１９日以後になる。共和党大会が終わるのを待つのだ。

第一に大統領選挙は同時に知事、三分の一の上院議員、そして下院議員全員の改選も行われ、現職の民主党議員らはこのままバイデンが居座ると自分たちも選挙で負ける可能性が高まるゆえに早期の立候補辞退を希望し始めた。

　第二にバイデン選対への寄付が事実上、停まった。対照的にトランプへの献金が急増した。ウォール街の一部の投資家がトランプ支援を始めたようだ。人数は少なくても、献金額は大口である。

　第三に、いまの情勢がつづけばベネット議員等が予測するようにトランプンのランドスライドとなる。拙著（宮崎正弘『トランプ劇場２・０　世界は大激変』、ビジネス社）でも、この場合、トランプが４２ｖｓ８ほどの大勝利を予測している。

１９８８年、レーガンが再選されたときのスコアは４８ｖｓ２だった。民主党が勝ったのは首都ワシントンと、当時の候補モンデールの選出州だけだった。そこまでのスコアではないにせよ、トランプの地滑り的勝利さえ予測される。それは民主党にとって致命的でもある。

Bennett has minimal features of a honeybee. Like antennas and glass like (retractable) wings. Soft fur covers her wrists, ankles, and collarbone area, but it isn't very noticeable. Bennet also follows the same honey making prosses and pollination abilities as bees normally do.

Honestly, it's not even all that surprising that Porter made a name for himself by being the most troublesome of troublemakers. And that title applies to both his time in Scepter Hall, and when he started attending NRC.

Porter has an adventurous spirit to him that drives him forward! Always wants to see the outcome of things, even if they seem to not go his way.

When they do, he's pretty darn proud of himself for getting it right! When they don't, er, Porter gets a little petty. Always been like that, that boy.

He loves teasing others just as much as he loves childhood bedtime stories. Which is to say: He loves teasing his friends a lot. Literally relentless, he won't stop until he gets them to crack a smile. His teasing’s pretty hit-and-miss, however, depending on the mood of his friends.

A bit too forward about what he wants, this one. Porter has no shame about what he says, and he makes that clear in the way he expresses his wants and needs! (This is both a good and bad thing, as according to some of his classmates, he can come off as a bit aggressive)

Do not try to give this man a bad day, he'll become an absolute menace just to spite you.

Endless pranks, constant teasing, never-ending ‘torment’ that won't come to a close until — and only until — Porter gets his way.

A bit much for a method, but hey, at least it gets the job done.

✗ If you thought Porter was a menace, just wait till you end up having to put up with his shadow.

↳ Azul had a field day dealing with Porter and he's honestly glad that Riddle's the one to put up with his bullshit now.

✗ As annoyed as Riddle may be with Porter, he can openly admit to him that he's grateful that Porter's so willing to help Riddle have those childhood experiences he never got to have. It reminds Riddle of his days with Trey and Chenya, and it brings a smile to the notably tyrannical red rose ruler of Heartslabyul.

✗ Before Porter got expelled from Scepter Hall, Meryl — Eclair's daughter — actually had a huge crush on him! This ended up not lasting very long once Porter left, unfortunately, and Meryl ended up finding a new crush through Sinan 😭

✗ If he ever has a friend who didn't have much of a childhood growing up (ex. Riddle), he is doing everything in his power to give them as many childhood experiences as possible.

↳ It makes for a fun personal challenge for him!

✗ Not many in Scepter Hall Institute know why Porter was expelled in the first place, actually! Eclair, Delta(@geminiiviolets), and Porter mutually agreed to keep everything under wraps. At least, in Porter's case. He isn't too sure about what Eclair and Delta talked about.

✗ When Porter was packing his things and getting ready to leave Scepter Hall, Watatsumi actually went on a sort of ‘strike’ to try and convince Eclair to bring Porter back ☠️ unfortunately, despite Watatsumi's efforts, she was unsuccessful.

✗ Honestly… One of the reasons Porter decided to transfer from Octavinelle to Heartslabyul is because Jade and Floyd scare the crap out of him!
