content — michael kaiser x coach!gn!reader, enemies to lovers, probably ooc, some references to his past (choking), i got a wee bit carried away and then got lazy on the lover part, ok rereading i fear this might be really ooc idk i dont read the manga
enemy!kaiser who knows at first glance that he just doesn't like you. he could say that about a lot of people, but you're a different case.
enemy!kaiser who hasn't quite got the smarts, nor do you have the physical abilities, other than being a coach, to become actual rivals over something. but you know what's better? arguing over nothing.
enemy!kaiser that would do anything to piss you off and get his way. yes, he was there for the lengthy meeting for a new and reliable strategy for the next match, but he's going to completely disregard it simply because he's michael kaiser. who's gonna stop him?
enemy!kaiser who loves to get in your face, using his stature to his advantage. if you try to avoid eye contact, he only gets closer, opening his eyes much wider than needed and tilting his head so that he's the only thing that you see.
enemy!kaiser who makes you do everything for him just to spite you. from now on, it's your job to dry his hair — and don't do it too hard, otherwise you'll just mess it up. he's awfully picky about what you do and if you don't do it right, expect to hear an absolute mouthful.
kaiser who starts to talk to you normally. it's scary. every time you try to rile him up, he does respond with his usual array of insults, but they don't seem to be as sincere.
kaiser who starts to listen to you more. whenever you talk, he stares, and it's unsettling having him be so neutral. try to shy away, and as usual, he moves closer, placing his hands on his knees with his eyes boring into yours. is it just you, or are your noses touching?
kaiser who accidentally let you see how truly vulnerable he could become. it was all a big mistake, a misunderstanding, so he wished. he wanted to yell at you, to curse you out, but you didn't say a word, simply turning and closing the door and giving him the privacy that he needs.
kaiser who lets you touch his tattoos for the first time. he felt oddly comfortable that night, being surrounded only by your presence. he wasn't happy, nor sad, yet his heart was more audible than usual. he was an empty vessel, thinking and thinking about what his emotions doing to him.
kaiser who suddenly switches back to his old self. it's a defense mechanism of sorts — if he could at least act like he hates you, then he doesn't have to come to terms with his feelings.
but yet, he knows he could trust you. you've kept all of his secrets, protected him from harm, whether that be physically or verbally. never have you used his weaknesses to your advantage, or stooped too low to the point that it reminds him of his past. he wasn't looking for love, he didn't believe in love. but maybe, just maybe...
kaiser who doesn't know what he's doing. when was the last time he's ever experienced such a thing? what can he do? how can he show you how he feels? what if you reject him? no, of course not... but you've spent all of this time hating each other... how low could the changes possibly be?
in the end, you were feeling the exact same way.
lover!kaiser doesn't want to make things public immediately. it's partially his pride, but he's scared. he's scared of this entirely new part of him that was once broken before.
lover!kaiser seems to be more of a tease. his formerly rude comments come off as playful, with a smirk on his lips that is less forced, less hateful.
lover!kaiser is intimidated by the world of romance. gifts? touch? he doesn't think he could bear with it. you remained patient, teaching him slowly at his pace, and speaking your own language of love to each other.
lover!kaiser who has heart eyes that are only noticeable to you. you don't get how nobody else sees it, but perhaps they're mistaking it for his intense gaze.
lover!kaiser who finds it satisfying when you touch his neck. you only graze your fingers tentatively over his throat, yet his hand wraps around yours, urging you to make it rougher, to grip it tighter. despite his request, you don't, and he's almost relieved from that. it's not enough to completely erase the habit, but it's nice to have a better memory attached to it.

the miraculous ladybug fandom really loves hating children for being children. they are literally kids. they are fourteen years old. "alya césaire bashing" should NOT be the top alya tag. what did she do wrong? have an underdeveloped brain since she's, oh, idk, fourteen? or-or is it because she *gasps* has made mistakes? why is "classmates bashing" a popular tag? oh noooo they're kids and they made mistakes! + the writing in those episodes was bad and they were ooc! how dare they! "adrien agreste bashing" - okay. he's flirtatious and has feelings. sue him for acting like the suppressed teen he is. like oh my god. even the lila hate,,, y'all do realize she's a child, right? you're allowed to hate her but wishing death upon her?the way that people write about/refer to lila is sick.
"alya césaire redemption" FROM WHAT!!! why does she need to be redeemed? gosh. no matter how many classmates bashing-related tags i filter out on ao3, i still actively struggle to find fics without it. these characters are 1. fictional and 2. children. if you can't handle kids being kids then stop watching???
not only are they kids, but they're traumatized kids. marinette and adrien aren't the only traumatized characters. every single classmate got akumatized and tried to kill the city's heroes and destroy the city. alix erased people from existence. how do you think she felt about that after the fact? ivan, a fourteen year old kid, was the first person to get akumatized. the first. he had no idea what was happening, people gave him so much crap for it, and then it happened again. sabrina almost killed chat noir. kim tried to make chat noir kill ladybug. alya tried to unmask her hero live. sabrina literally became invisible.
like... and not just that, but they've all been heroes, too. as exciting as it may have been at the time, you can't tell me they aren't at least a Little traumatized after fighting literal villains. oh, and they've been victims of akuma attacks. is chloe a bad person? kinda, yeah (but also partially bc of bad writing-). but she was almost like boiled alive, killed, was taken hostage countless times. max had to deal with the aftermath of markov's akumatization. when juleka became akumatized in "guilt", the classmates were forced to sit and get consumed by guilt. they've had to watch their family get akumatized, watch their friends or partners get akumatized, live through the guilt of knowing they hurt someone so much they got akumatized. bc they're human and they're kids. ofc they're going to hurt someone. it's natural. let them be kids!

Referring to everyone's skill as of pre.#Reiner said Bertolt was the strongest of all of the shifters but he held himself back. He came 3rd without giving his all. Or really trying#I hc he held himself back to try not to let too much of his strength show bc people forget he had military training b4 joining the 104th.#And ofc. Also to not bring too much attention to himself bc of who he really is???#The way he mastered his Titan straight away and also has such a good handle on it.#Out of the 3 shifters he was the one that stayed true to the mission. Despite his reluctance he's got the strength and commitment.#People are so quick to say he relies on Reiner too much. And while he does at times. Reiner relies on him just as much if not more. Even if#Reiner doesn't realise it. Bertolt keeps him on track and has no one supporting him at all.#In COTT arc... U see him dodge Mikasa who is an Ackerman and seen as one of the strongest characters in the series...#And the same in RTS. Everyone gets too distracted by Mikasa to actually pay attention to how he dodges her 4 times?? Even tho she attacks#from behind? And the way he lands a hit on her. I just *screams*. I love how many times she tries to kill him. lol#How effective he is when he abandons his guilt and this is sort of irrelevant but. It's so special to me because as someone who is#a quiet person irl round people I don't know well. Who has it brought up a lot. i will say i am extremely glad we got the ghouls vs goblins back and forth in this podcast ep because it's SUCH a good look inside glenn and charlie's ideas/writing process, and it was. silly 😋
#the always sunny podcast#glenn howerton#charlie day#ada speaks#i was smiling through p much the entire pod tbh but#there is something v special about glenn and charlie eps and i think this is why#also i feel like whenever dennis and charlie hang out dennis feels more like glenn#because that back and forth would not have been ooc for their characters at all#glennis genuinely intrigued by charlie's weirdly compelling little......... things he comes up with#the little bit of improv about magnets was good too dhsjbdjf#like somehow explaining it even more was funnier than in the episode#bc charlie's thought process is so funny#leaving it at. just magnets. is funny but the rest of it really got me#i think the two of them really excel at writing sort of mundane banter#like what theyre talking about doesn't even have to be particularly exciting#but its so snappy and fun i love that shit more than anything

michael brainrot but i am just too eepy to articulate any of it properly
#been thinking about how he is so. emotional.#like he was an emotional kid.. that's just not the language that was really used bc he channeled it into anger and defiance#to combat feeling unsafe and alone .. he was sensitive he could be set off easily and a LOT of that comes with trauma#but even before things got *very* bad (which i still do not think he was doing well pre bite i've talked about this) he was acting out#sensitive to feeling left out and neglected (portrayal dependent but. at least william's lack of a presence during fnaf 4 to me implies#some level of negligence) and yes he did not react to this in the right way but also he was a KID.#he buried his emotions and forced them through the channels that felt the least vulnerable#and he was bound to either just burst or shut down periodically.#and i'm focusing on when he's younger but i think he ends up very.. 'forced himself to 'grow up' as a kid#because of actively being stuck where he did not feel safe' into 'he is ''out'' (heavy quotations lmao) of that so now he's just left#with all of this baggage that he doesn't know how to deal with bc he spent so long not allowing himself to be vulnerable'#very 'but now i've find i've grown into a tall child' you know. particularly interesting when it comes to unscooped/fandomless though bc#ADDING the scooping adds even more layers psychologically he's so. i'm gonna put him in a jar and shake him around#SEE I TYPE THIS MUCH /INFORMALLY/ IM JUST TOO EEPY TO MAKE FORMAL POSTS#⁂ ･ﾟ: i was looking for a job‚ and then i found a job‚ and heaven knows i’m miserable now ➛ ooc

this has always lowkey been a part of my rules but i've now made it a bit more official, but over here i am now, for the most part, primarily plotting based. i just don't have the inspiration i once did for spontaneous, off the cuff interactions with jack — and this doesn't mean you have to plot an entire google doc out with me (but you can 👀 i absolutely encourage that), i am a big fan of just throwing out initial ideas and then letting things develop organically from there. but i've noticed that my jack muse is still as strong as can be when it comes to plotted/established dynamics or if we've chatted even a little about a thread or interaction, but just isn't as present when it comes to threads/interaction where there hasn't been that initial discussion beforehand.
