Ah, Léon, Nathan’s father and Yann’s older brother in my series! How I’ve missed him after giving him so much angst when we last saw him in season 3…

Like Aslan, I plan to have him return in season 5, too, so be ready to keep an eye out for him!

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

Yes, but he hasn’t appeared yet. I won’t spoil his identity (in case I change things), but I will say that, as of now, I intend for him to be related to a somewhat prominent character in Pacific Bay.

🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Love: Baking. Léon is a master baker and has been since he was little. When he was sick, he couldn't leave his house often and had to be careful with what he ate. So, his mother began experimenting with baking to create delicious but safe treats for her son to enjoy. On Léon’s good days, Martha would pull up a chair to the counter for him, and they would bake together. To this day, whenever Léon is baking, it takes him back to simpler times as he remembers baking with his mother and feeling free from the worries and fear of cancer.

Hate: Visiting hospitals. Léon has nothing against the medical field or its professionals, but he’s received enough bad news from hospitals that he dreads visiting, fearing he’ll just receive more… He still goes to all his appointments and does everything his doctors instruct, but he always has to mentally prepare himself for the worst, even if it's just for a simple check-up.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

Meeting his little brother for the first time. There’s a large age gap between Léon and Yann (10 years), so he very clearly remembers his parents telling him he was going to be a big brother, his mother’s pregnancy, and meeting Yann after he was born. He’ll never forget the love he felt holding Yann for the first time and watching the baby smile at him with bright brown eyes.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

When he found out his parents were dead. Léon was travelling back to the United States at the time and didn’t get the news until he landed in Pacific Bay. His flight had been delayed, so he arrived a few days later than intended. His aunt greeted him at the airport and told him the terrible news. Léon was so distraught and angry with himself for not being there to save them or to comfort Yann that when it came time for the funeral, he hid in the back, believing he didn’t deserve to sit up front after being away from his family for so long due to his cancer and later joining the army.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in?

Mystery (for obvious reasons) and fantasy (for reasons I haven’t officially revealed yet).

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

The fact that even though I was making him up as I went along, he somehow managed to turn out to be a good OC!

However, a more character-based answer is his reliance and strength. Léon has been through a lot with his health (physical and mental), his family, friends and career, and despite every challenge he faced, he didn’t back down and kept going. Even when it seemed like the world was against him, Léon continued to push forward to reach the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?

No. Even though Léon has battled cancer 3 times now, he’s beaten it each time, and I don’t plan to kill him off. (And I promise, after cancer battle #3, he will stay in remission!)

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

Yes. Léon has heliophobia - fear of the sun/sunlight/bright light.

I love teasing my secrets and surprises in these types of asks! Léon shall return like many of my OCs one day, and I look forward to revealing more of his lore! (And his secret special someone~)😊

🥵 : Is your OC perceived as physically attractive to others? Is it at first glance or is it something that takes more time to reach fruition?

yes, he’s a pretty conventionally attractive guy. people tend to not compliment him on his looks though because he often has a serious expression on his face and he comes across as intimidating and unfriendly.

💦 : Is your OC’s attractiveness based on looks or a more intangible aura?

he has a reserved and serious personality which can be really attractive to someone who’s into the sexy brooding mysterious stranger kinda thing. from another perspective, he can seem awkward, closed off and unapproachable which can be a major turn-off to other people.

💪 : What is your OC’s most physically attractive attribute?

people find themselves captivated by his beautiful brown eyes when they talk to him! his height and broad shoulders definitely turn heads as well.

🧠 : What is your OC’s most mentally attractive attribute?

he has a really soft, caring and thoughtful side to him that can be really attractive to someone who has taken the time to get to know him well.

👀 : Does your OC believe they are attractive? Do they use that to their advantage?

he doesn’t think he looks anything special. to him, his appearance just is. sure, he can sense when someone is attracted to him. sure, he knows that being tall and muscular are conventionally attractive traits. but is he attractive? he would have a hard time seeing himself that way. by default, he assumes other people aren’t attracted to him. so no, using his looks to his advantage would be very out of character for him. he also doesn’t really think about whether other people find him attractive or not, he’s not someone who cares that much about his appearance or what other people think.

👃 : Does your OC smell good? Do they have a signature scent?

he smells like whatever $5 deodorant stick/spray you can find in the drugstore grooming aisle. the “sport” scent or the “fresh” scent. he doesn’t know who tom ford is or where the “eau de toilette” is.

👂 : Does your OC have an attractive voice?

he has a deep voice and he is rather soft spoken. his voice is also kind of monotone, he doesn’t have a very animated speech pattern. his voice could put someone to sleep, either from boredom or comfort lol

🚲 : Does your OC enjoy playing the field? Or are they more monogamy-minded?

amir is definitely more monogamy-minded. he does not like playing the field because he’s shy, has low self worth, and doesn’t find casual dating and hookups to be meaningful. he’s socially awkward and closed off and he wouldn’t like having someone’s attention on him, opening up to a stranger, and he doesn’t think someone would be impressed by him. he yearns for an emotional connection though, and he needs that in order for anything else to be enjoyable. he’s a hopeless romantic, he idealizes romantic relationships because they are so elusive, he just wants one relationship to be the relationship. he thinks of dating as like, if i can’t see myself marrying them in a few years, what is even the point of going on a date with them, it’d just be a waste of time!

😍 : What does your OC find irresistible in others?

he needs to be with someone who has similar values to him. he finds a kind heart to be an irresistible trait. he also loves someone who is openly affectionate towards him. he would have a hard time admitting that and asking for what he wants so he’d melt for someone who openly gives that to him. he’s also attracted to a damsel-in-distress type, it’s an insecurity and ego thing, he wants nothing more than to be someone’s hero, it’s like “even if i hate myself and think i’m worthless at least i can still make the person i love happy.” physically, he is attracted to femininity, he always thought he was straight but his attraction is much broader and it’s something about himself he continues to struggle to accept/have conflicting feelings about because of ✨ baggage ✨

💘 : Is your OC a very good flirt? Are they charming?

no, he has no game and in general he wants to be left alone. he only tries to be flirty and charming when he’s decided he likes someone and wants to seriously pursue them and knows they’d be receptive to his advances. he could never be that smooth talking playboy, life of the party type of guy.

💋 : Is your OC a good kisser? How do they do it?

he loooves kissing. he likes giving cute forehead and cheek kisses. in bed, he likes kissing his partner’s neck and down their chest, all over the body really, it’s like a physical way of expressing his strong desire for them. he’s a soft and sensual kisser but he’s not afraid to get nastier if that’s what his partner likes. 

🦴 : Does your OC have much sexual experience? What are they like?

he is not very experienced but he’s not insecure about it. he’s confident he could please someone if he put in the effort to do so. he also thinks it would be really meaningful to gain experience with his partner together, continuously learning each other’s likes and dislikes. he’s definitely seen his fair share of porn and he has kinks he’d like to explore if his partner was open to it. he’s more open-minded than he wants to admit! as long as he’s in love, he would be down to try a lot. he definitely likes to be romantic and soft in bed, vanilla would not be boring to him, the kinkier stuff would just be the cherry on top. 

💞 : Do they treat sex casually or do they view it as something with a lot of emotional weight?

he doesn’t judge other people for having casual sex but for him, sex holds a lot of emotional weight and it’s not something he would want to do with just anyone. a big part of why sex is enjoyable for him is the emotional connection with his partner and he just wouldn’t be able to reach that intensity with a stranger he doesn’t care about or has no future with.

🔥 : What’s a surefire way to make your OC get flustered?

nude photos will immediately set his imagination on fire.

🧸 : Into public displays of affection or are they more reserved?

he loves affection so he’s definitely into handholding and hugs and things like that even if he’s shy about it. he’d be so in his own little world with his partner that he wouldn’t even notice if other people were around.

💌 : How would they plan a romantic evening for a significant other?

something he would totally do is set up an outdoor movie date with a projector, big screen, hanging lights, a cozy blanket and pillows on the ground, a picnic basket full of food and wine, and a bouquet of flowers. or he would make his apartment all clean, set up candles and a record player, and cook his significant other a really good meal. for something more spontaneous, he’d pick up his significant other and go to a midnight diner for some greasy comfort food and then just have a late night drive, stop off somewhere quiet, and just talk and watch the stars.

💐 : What is their courting style? How would they woo someone?

he would find ways to spend time with them. he would muster up the courage to be direct like “hey, i want to see you, want to do ____ with me?” he’d put in the effort to plan dates. he’ll send and reply to texts consistently even though he’s not a big texter or social media user. he wouldn’t be super flirty or anything but he’d give that person his full attention and he’d make it obvious he was interested. he’ll notice and remember every little detail about that person and basically burn them into his memory and think about them constantly which would translate into him being really attentive and almost clingy.

�� : What kind of underwear do they use? Is it pretty or functional?

functional 😭 he wears athletic undies for working out or he buys those affordable 4-6packs you can get at costco/walmart/etc. you know the ones where you get a pair of grey, navy, and black each. he has no one to impress, he gets zero bitches anyways.

Hello. Honestly I am not sure where to start, but I (Any, ??) am purely a figment of imagination from overactive and worrying minds. I represent a potential person who Could exist, but does not yet so, and recently I have been portrayed as a content-hungry fan for a cosmic horror story. The people who imagine me fear that I may say horrible things about the characters, post crude drawings, make bizarre theories, and generally misunderstand the media.

I am a hypothetical, but yet the people who conjure up my existence claim to know that I will one day truly exist, based only on surface-level research of similar medias, and their respective fandoms. It’s truly a dilemma here; would not be they at fault for thinking the worst, or would it be I at fault for being a possibility?

A loss to be sure. Maybe this is not worth the trouble of asking, but hypotheticals are a powerful thing.

✨: How did you come up with the OC’s name? - i think this will disappoint you but its just from a half-elf fantasy name generator. both his first and last name (fruhand arroway) are from it. i was very bad at making names at the time. however now i consider myself good at coming up with random ass fucking names like grunkuff

🌂: What genre do they belong in? - gonna use bitsy (all pronouns. i mean literally every pronoun can be used for them) for this one (my skyrim oc that made her way into rottmnt. as all of my ocs eventually do)

🧠: What do you like most about the OC? - i'm gonna be mysterious and talk abt fru's second universe and ocs in it that i dont think ive posted/talked about here much or at all. lucy, sif, chris, basil, badger, ruin, and ofc fru! i dont have any recent drawings of them (besides fru) so here's some older designs

lucy, she/her: lucy was a dnd character of mine! she was an albino turkey vulture aarakocra cleric with a service dog named bear (who's still around I just dont have him on this post). she's dating sif! lucy was a huge source of joy for me when i was younger. i was obsessed with her. shes my sweet girl and i love her to death. her relationship with her dog bear is one of my favorite things ive done with characters i think theyre so sweet

sif, she/he/they: my silly girl. my absolute goober. sif was a dnd character that never got used unfortunately. they were a tabaxi monk. she's dating lucy!! i dont have much to say abt him bc i never really went crazy with her lore but i love her sm. she was so fun to draw. i need to get her into rottmnt

chris, she/they: chris ended up being almost a sister to fru. she's so fun. she was also originally a dnd character, but she was a human. i think she was a rogue?? im not sure. they have a vial of blood on a necklace around their neck. dont ask where it came from. she meant a lot to me when i first made her and i vented a lot in my art of her. i was goin through some hard times back then man LMAOO. this was back in 2020

basil, she/it/they: ok this ones kinda crazy. basil isnt technically a snake, she just takes the form of one. it's a shadow god, one that was cast out and sent to live among the mortals. she follows fru around. they were in a relationship with badger (who is also a shadow god taking the form of a lynx creature) but they split up after being cast out. basil holds the star artifact (ignore the drawing of her with the sun thats wrong. fru has the sun). basil was such a blast to draw when i first made her and to this day sometimes i find myself doodling them

badger, he/it/they: badger is one of the "villains" of the story. they, as mentioned before, are a shadow god that was cast out and sent into the mortal realm. after his falling out with basil, it found ruin and decided to stick with him. badger holds the void artifact!! he's also SO fun to draw. their expressions are super fun. i was obsessed with the song all eyes on me by OR3O so like thats kind of his song now LMAOO

ruin, he/him: ruin is the other "villain" in the story. he (hear me out on this ok) is half of the REAL fruhand, which was split apart for whatever reason. he's fruhand's negative half. he doesn't know that he and fru are equal and believes himself to be inferior. he absolutely hates fru in the beginning, but they make up after ruin realizes the truth. he holds the moon artifact! i made so many different versions of this goober and his silly design. he really helped me learn to draw more freely and creatively

fru, he/him: fru is the main character bc i love him to death. he's the other half of the real fruhand and is his positive half. he doesn't know about the split until later. eventually he and ruin become brothers. do they go back together? idk. i never really did anything abt it. he holds the sun artifact. i fucking love fru. he was a self insert in dnd initially (but also inspired by br'aad from just roll with it) but now he's developed into my silly lion man who's in love with leo. god i love him. he means the world to me

a note about the artifacts: they're the key to the heavens i think it was. or like, the "higher up areas." when combined they open a gateway. they can also be used to merge fru and ruin back together! badger and ruin want to get all the artifacts so badger can take revenge on the gods, and so ruin can be the "real" fruhand. obviously this doesnt happen

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

I looove his identity struggle... i put a lot of my own fears and issues into him and magnified by 10, He's also a lot of fun to roleplay in his dnd game because of the way our wonderful DM is dropping lore and info means i learn a bit more about him constantly.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

Mallow doesn't have specific phobias that come to mind, He is super fucking uncomfortable with shapeshifting monsters because as a changeling with issues, they put him in a bad place mentally.

OK. so. Mallow has been cooking for a while now, and my very first note was "transmutation wizard that keeps his components in his jewelry" but the original idea is barely there anymore because after me and @sadmages talked about our characters and gave them a history, i felt like his original design and backstory were not it for the story i wanted to tell. He's no longer a transmutation wizard but still keeps some components in his earrings tho!

Vino doesn't have much time for hobbies since he's very busy with work and family throughout the day. Whenever he does have a rare second of peace, he spends it reading. Mostly fiction novels :D

You'd be surprisingly wrong to think he loves making drinks for people since it's his job. He actually loves to meet new people wayy more! A new face at the tavern means new buisiness and perhaps new info to pass along to Eggman!

Vino has a huge fear of the arcane. Chaos Emeralds? Phantom Ruby? Warp Topaz? Please don't wave those things around him unsafely, it'll make him very unease. "Put that thing back where it came from or SO HELP ME-"

That's a toughy cuz I love his whole design, but that's an easy answerrrr.... hmm.. I like that he's an older character! I don't make a lot of 40s ish characters so him being one of the 1st is cool :) Look at me go, expanding my horizons jkdsjds

There was a couple of inspirations for this new one :3c I'd say the biggest ones are Sage's Slow Orb from Valorant and The Forest God from Princess Mononoke (most specifically their walk)

Fanfic Ask Game

😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?

Ooh, that's a great question. I keep thinking I'm going to get shit for my propensity to just take as many characters as I can and make them all kiss at once (the curse of the polyam author: why should I pick A Pairing when I can make them ALL fall in love no matter how long it'll take for it to develop?), but so far everyone's been really respectful and just steering clear of my writing if the ships don't suit them, and I really appreciate that!

I've got several more chapters to get to, so I'm not sure what people are going to react well to. I'm, again, pleased that no one was rude about a female OC popping up for development reasons. Maybe my overuse of adverbs? Maybe how much emphasis I put on erotic writing for character/relational development? Maybe that Beej isn't going to be a perfect cinnamon roll nor is Hawk going to be unguarded from the very start with him?

This'll be an interesting thing to revisit when Scratching The Itch is fully posted and when I write the first sequel in Beej's POV, I think.

🌙  What time of day do you prefer to write? Why?

I like writing right when the caffeine from my morning chai kicks in. It shuts off a lot of my second guessing and just lets my fingers fly.

🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?

Aaaaaaaaaaall my goddamn backstory for Beej and Peg as it pertains to Some Things Are Evergreen. How much of that might end up written as a flashback and how much is just going to be secondhand info and how much might get its own fic? Who's to say? Right now we just have arguably unreliable narrator Beej telling Hawk exactly as much as he wants him to know, no more and no less, but that'll have to change eventually.

There's also the "Hey so why isn't Trapper reaching out to Hawk" business going on in the background of the Some Things Are Evergreen verse, buuuuut that's for me to know and for the readers to find out EVENTUALLY!!!

🧠 Linux Essentials Certification Review Did chapter quizzes 2-8 in netacad during class. Lowest grade on these was a 70 and the highest 100. I need to work on man and info page commands. (Basically, I know the commands, but not where to find help if I don't know.) Did some more in chemistry, got to 15 of 18. I need to work on scripting in bash and creating users and groups. I finished up on the bus ride home. Finish: 4:45 pm

🫀 Finish characters for book project So I'm only putting detailed things for the main few characters (there's like 5-7), and only a couple of bullet points for side characters. Basically, I got it done in like 15 minutes in PE lol. Finish: 11:45 am

🔪 Plot points of part 1 Worked on it during lunch. Got to 7/9 then, and finished in Chemistry because we had a make up day and I had nothing to make up.
