Magical Mystery

It had been almost a week since Sora and Fawn escaped from Sonare. So much has happened to Sora, but he wanted to be able to relax and collect his thoughts for a few days before he approached the friends he was with at the mysterious island.

He was on the pier, shoes off, feet kicking the water around as his thoughts swirled in his head. After a few moments, he groaned and grabbed at his head. His feet kicked the water with a heavy splash, soaking his pants.

He let out a sigh and pushed himself up to at least walk the beach. Maybe finding more thalassa shells would be a good idea?

Sora would wander for about an hour. He'd see some familiar faces smiling and waving at him, causing him to smile and wave back as well as participating in small talk. Everything kinda just flowed until he saw a man in.... a relatively non-beachy attire. A cloak? Or is that a cape?

Sora jogged up to this person, seeing as he was another other-worldly traveler. He didn't look like the normal citizens of Arcanus, so he wasn't afraid to start conversation. This was Sora though, when would he ever be afraid to start a conversation?

"Yaknow, if you're looking for the library, you missed it by a long shot! It's about a thirty minute walk that way!" Sora pointed back towards the main land, not even remotely close to where the library actually is. "I can take you there if you'd like? I need something to do anyways!"

Sora stood up and held out his hand for Badou to help him up. He watched how Badou held onto the wayfinder delicately. Reminded him of Riku to be honest. A soft and caring person under a bitter and rough around the edges exterior.

"Don't be afraid to call on me if you need help! I may be a kid, but I can help in my own ways!" Sora explains. He meant every single word.

Sora's optimism is almost blinding. Badou nudges him back, crooked grin still plastered on his face despite himself.

"Alright, I will. I'll take anything at this rate, to change my luck. Rabbit's foot, salt, a shell or two-- I need all the help I can get."

Seriously, he isn't joking.

Tsukasa loves the idea of eating outside but despises the act because of all the bugs and flying insects it attracts. Sometimes he tries pushing through it though because he’s been told to stop complaining many times when he was eating outside with others or they just got annoyed by it

What a moment to mind his own business. Apparently, he can never be given a few minutes of peace.

Alastor had taken a moment to have another drink - maybe fiddle a bit with his shirt which was feeling more stifling the closer they got to the heat of the day. When the sudden, jarring sensation of water being blasted at his hind end sent him bristling with alarm.

He whirled around in indignation, staring pointedly at the culprit.

"Do you mind?!"

The days were getting a bit colder as time in Aevum went on. Seeing so many new faces excited Sora since it gave him an opportunity to meet more friends! With an ice cream in his hand, Sora strolled down the boardwalk. He was exhausted after collecting shells all day and almost had enough shells to craft a new wayfinder for himself.

Just one shell short

His ears twitched as he heard humming. It was faint, but he knew it was coming from the end of the boardwalk. Sora would a bite out of his ice cream bar as he continued down the dock. He followed the voice to this blue haired girl. He cocked his head to the side and let out a gentle smile. "That was really pretty..." He spoke softly as to not spook this girl.

Sighing wistfully as the soft sound of crashing waves met her ears, Furina felt a pang of homesickness hit her chest. While she knew that she had a mission here...another mission and another role to play, she couldn't help but wish that she could visit home one more time before she had to help this world.

Humming to herself a familiar tune from a little play that she was in, the melody was somber and wanting in tone. While her mouth did not open to form any lyrics, she knew them by heart.

It was her story afterall.

Feeling a tear fall down her face, Furina quickly wiped away the water from her eye and continued to hum, hoping that it was alleviate her mood.

The beaches here are byfar the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life. I took some photos, but I can't post them here because there's a law in the Eternia-Delight universe saying to can't post pictures of any of the places to a social media made by this earth you viewers are on. Any sunny day at the beach puts a bright smile on Sora's face even if he's smiling ninety percent of the time. The beach makes him extra smiley for it reminds him of home. When he learns of the boardwalks of Aevum, Sora has been there almost every day enjoying the sun, splashing in the water, and collecting seashells. Today however he was going to enjoy a long swim at the end of the longest boardwalk he could find.

With nothing but a pair of swimming trunks, Sora runs barefoot from his home in the Seaside Province to the boardwalks on the beach. When he scouts the perfect diving point, Sora charges quickly and aggressively. his feet thumping along the sea sanded wood and his breath heaving, tasting the salty mist at every inhale. He nears the end of the walkway and he's showing no signs of slowing.

Sora braces to dive headfirst into the sea but catches a glimpse of a large, bulky figure sitting at the edge. He didn't pay any more attention to him though as he hops off one foot, plants both feet firmly onto the edge of the dock and lunges forward into the waters a few feet below him. His body piercing the sea and sending mist into the air around the edge of the dock,

A few moments later, Sora surfaces and immediately inhales for air. A light cough expels sea water from his lungs as he glances up at the man and waves. "Sorry mister!" He shouts before starting his swim back to shore to repeat the process.

This gameplay is heavily inspired by @/squea and her gp with corn! I want to play certain aspirations that suit Phi and just follow her silly little life & love life >:3

Something I'm still very undecided about is the name of the indie band of my three young sharks from a retro universe. It's such a simple thing, but it's perplexing me, perhaps because I want something very specific. In this case, a marine element + a cosmic element. 🦈✨

I wish you could all help me with this creative insight! At the moment I have these ideas, do you like them, do any of them sound cool?

🎵 Dreaming Sharks, Dream Divers, Dream Shiver, Astral Dreamers.

These names would be more ideas for songs they would make:

🎶 Pastel Summer, Reef Dreams, Stranded Song, Wreck Echoes, Ocean Wish, Astral Sailors, Stargazing Sharks, Sharks also Dream, Whispering Waves, Emotional Frenzy, The Rainbow After the Storm.

What I do know is that their essence is about chasing dreams with a cosmic touch, magical ocean and optimism. I created these three characters inspired by the triple idea of the tarot: Sun, Moon and Star.

☀️ Sun as ruler of Tiago/Tyson the tiger shark, someone warm, who inspires courage and determination.

🌙 Moon as ruler of Roberto/Rocky the great hammerhead shark, someone mysterious, who inspires feeling and empathy.

⭐ And the Star as ruler of Arielle/Aria the zebra shark, someone dreamy, who inspires imagination and faith.

Someone once told me that imagining a scene with my characters could help me understand the essence that could lead me to the ideal band name. So I remembered what I had imagined:

"Previously, it was just Roberto and Tiago, but they were looking for a voice for their songs. One starry night on the beach, Roberto witnessed a strange shooting star that didn't reflect his image in the sea. Despite this, he was inspired to make a wish.

The event reminded him of his van, which he affectionately calls "Starfall". After going for a drive with Tiago, a synchronicity event led them to Arielle, whom they found singing alone at a local karaoke bar. Since then, Roberto likes to call her "Lucky Star", the one who inspires them to hope in the face of adversity.

And one day, when Roberto and Tiago were undecided about how to name the band, Arie surprised them with an ideal name idea!"

The problem is that I don't know what idea Arie had! haha
