So I am going to ramble some more about my Oscar goes apeshit in Baku predictions because it has grabbed my by the lapels and shaken me around.
So we start with Hungary. First win, big win, this is awesome, but he seems generally unenthusiastic. Haha, we all say, typical unemotional Oscar. Boo, the media says, you should have prioritized Lando, that’s not a real win because team orders.
And then we have spa. Solid, p3 that became p2, but —a theme that will develop— unrealized potential with Oscar chasing someone down and not quite making it on the last laps. Will-he-won’t-he, and it seems he won’t. He’s clearly not pleased in post race debriefs.
Zandvoort. Everyone knows the McLaren is the fastest car by this point, and Lando has the race of his life. A 20 second gap to second, and Oscar spends most of the race chasing Leclerc for third, so close but yet so far. Another race ended by chasing someone down and not quite making it. Media calls it a SPECTACULAR drive by Lando (it was!) and overall a disappointing weekend for Oscar, who at this point is probably gnashing his teeth off camera somewhere.
And so we come to Monza!! This weekend is Oscar throwing his elbows out in a big way. He’s making a statement, and the statement is fuck your team orders, fuck being “second driver” and fuck this narrative of Oscar being the guy who can’t quite pull it off. Except, yet again, he doesn’t quite pull it off and is stuck, yet again, behind Charles Leclerc. In the cooldown room after, when he says to Leclerc “I didn’t think you’d make it to the end, or I did but I thought you’d be slower” what he’s actually saying is “how the fuck did you do that, you fucking bastard”. Points for self restraint, but you can see in post race interviews he’s pissed.
This is Oscar, so there’s still calculation here: when he’s mean about Lance to the media afterwards? It’s funny, but also, he’s trial running a much sharper persona than we’ve seen so far. I’ve described it in tags before as heading in an Alonso direction — he doesn’t mind having a little villain arc!
The problem with Monza is he didn’t win. Gauntlets thrown, papaya rules in the wind, and he’s still only p2. That’s frustrating (and possibly embarrassing) in a big way, especially in light of people who still say his first win was gifted. So now we have an Oscar that’s getting more comfortable being the bad guy, doing dramatic bold things to get what he wants, and he still hasn’t quite got it.
So I think he’s gonna go fucking insane in Baku.
#is this basically just character meta with almost no substantiation?#yes!#do I believe it wholeheartedly?#also yes#I saw him seething in the Monza cooldown room and said I Know What You Are#(a very frustrated 23yo who thinks he’s not doing well at his job)#op81#f1#lando norris#mclaren#ln4#oscar piastri#baku 2024

i am going to talk about this scene so people know what i mean when i say usogui is textually gay. bakuhal could be its own post & kajibaku itself has more elements to it (the great breasts mission + baku winning kaji back in a gamble therefor "owning" him/his life) but ok so
this scene will be familiar to those who read shoujo. its a love confession during fireworks that obscure the actual love confession part of it. you can google it if u dont know the trope ill only expand on the context in usogui
so here were taking a break from life or death gambles on this island, gamble that happens as a long 20+ days marathon but is in itself on a very tight schedule. kaji has just won the spear vs shield gamble- meaning his character arc has concluded and he is now injured and cant significantly help baku in his gambles anymore BUT he has taken a stand to be his own person & step out of bakus shadow to instead stand as his equal. this is what that internal monologue looks like

(the "to please you" sentiment is not necessarily gay its tied to his issues w his mom but its not-NOT gay either. also notice his fingers in bakus mouth LOL)
so what does he do now that he considers himself bakus equal? well he gets sexual release then attends the festival w the gang. & at the end of the day after fun group antics at the festival (a tropey date spot!) this is his internal monologue, directed at baku himself. "Hey, Baku-san, I..." [fireworks obscure the end of his thought]. we do not get to hear it on the next page either its just left hanging there. this is the epilogue to kajis character arc, the thing that crowns it before he takes a backseat in the story. it is not a throway line. what else is there to read here than that thought is akin to a love confession- if not one outright? why invoke this romantic trope here otherwise?
(uhm also the sex kaji mentions is a blowjob & baku has a eating/mouth motif thats present in the "i will stand as bakus equal" page but thats a bit too analytical of motifs & symbols for this post. he did not literally have sex w baku here)
i have to stress this scene is using a shoujo trope as-is and concludes over 300 chapters of baku calling him kaji-chan/nicknames and being physically affectionate AND the aformentionned gamble w kaji as the wager and the great breast mission thing... whether intentional or not! kaji and bakus relationship is homoerotic at its core
#usogui#kaji takaomi#madarame baku#kajibaku#waves politely hi i am bringing gay analysis to more fandoms. hello#usogui meta

Does anyone have screenshots of the contents inside of the Meta Liberation War book or a translation of some sort? What Destro had written has been one of my questions for a bit and I was just wondering. I also feel like whatever was written inside that book could help me understand the characters in the Meta Liberation Army a bit better. I was just wondering.

Hear Me Out
Yokai Amity. What are yokai? Japanese spirits. And not just ghosts, a majority of mythical creatures? Yokai.
So how did this happen? Well, like most things, it can be blamed on the ghost portal in the Fenton Basement. And a lot of ecto contamination. Because while they're a small city? They're also in the middle of nowhere, meaning a lot of their foods and crops, they grow themselves. And the ectoplasm? Started sinking into the ground first. Y'know, where every plant grows and then both humans and animals proceed to eat it? Made even worse when those like Overgrowth or Vortex came through? Yeaah, it'd be a miracle if they didn't get contaminated and no surprise that most don't notice their humanity slipping with time with how it's happening to everyone.
Which kind of makes the situation Danny has found himself kind of hilarious? At least to him. The trenchcoat dude seems to be having an aneurism or something similar.
"So... not a meta?" the tiny vigilante child clarified again, head tilting from where he stood at the head of his group. Honestly Danny was enjoying this from his place sprawled across the park bench Honestly Amity had spoiled him with benches designed for extra limbs.
The blonde man seemed absolutely done with everything, hands twitching as though about to cradle his head in his hands or grab something. "No," he wasn't shouting but it was close. "For fuck's sake- your all lucky not to be cursed or worse-" He turned towards Danny. "Why the fuck didn't you?"
The hainu shrugged, wings doing more of the motion than the rest of him. "They're babies-" Or at least one of them was, borderline liminal as they were. "You play along with toddlers." Honestly he saw why his old rogues found this fun, even if he'd never go as far as they did.
The entire team of vigilante children bristled, one opening their mouth to protest before trenchcoat-soul-dude glared at them all before turning back towards him.
"Though what the fuck do you need that for that you'd steal it- not that any artifact like that should be in a bloody museum and not locked away where idiots can't get to it."
He snorted, the sound more dog-like. Or really more yeti-like, what with how he was taking lessons from Frostbite which meant large chunks of time in the Far Frozen.
"Technically I don't need it, my kid does," Danny held up a finger, marveling slightly at the clouds. It was quite different compared to Amity, what with how everywhere was so ecto-infused that the sky was effected.
"And what does a hainu need with-" the trenchcoat man motioned to the cursed object, which honestly wasn't that bad. But...
"Oh no, he's not a hainu, he's furaribi." Danny honestly wasn't surprised that Jordan wouldn't turn out the same as he, de-aged or not. Not that he was memory-less or anything, cores didn't lose that easily, but he did still have the physical brain of a child.
"Adopted?"
"Nope," he hummed, going over the list of things he still had to do today before returning to Amity. Sam had asked him to get a few more flowers to test how ecto would effect them and he had to pick up some computer parts for Tuck.
"How the fuck."
"My sister's a kitsune, my other sister is a shirouneri, my mom is a shishi, my dad a baku, godfather's an itachi, my boyfriend a raiju, my girlfriend a kirin, and my other girlfriend a yosuzume," he ticked off his fingers, not seeing anything wrong with it. Not like people could get into Amity easily after the whole GIW thing.
"... what the fuck does your family tree look like, mate, because that should be bloody impossible."
Danny shrugged, giving a sharp toothed smile. Yeah, the realms didn't care about that with how malleable ecto was.

Polishing off 2024: Fandom Style ✨
This year has been especially exciting with actually launching my little sticker shop but my actual account oscillates between a lot of shows, ships, kinds of content, etc and it’s funny thinking about the different ways my lizard brain experiences, digests and manifests these little fixations. Whatever it is, here’s to more in the new year.
FAVORITE WRITTEN PIECES
I did not write to my heart's content this year and that makes me really sad. Here's to hoping this year will be more fruitful.
I cross post my fics to ao3!
One Shot, The "Honored One"
Summary: Gojo spent his life alone until he didn’t. The time burns bright in his memory despite how short lived it was because the bookends of his youth were marked with burdens known only to the Honored One. Filed Under: Jujutsu Kaisen
Meta Piece, tied: Sad SatoSugu Edition (Because That’s Literally the Only Flavor There Is) Part 1 | Part 2
Summary: There will, inevitably, be a third installment because their circumstances are that which caused endless suffering in universe to those around them and to me, personally, because it's all I think about. Filed Under: Jujutsu Kaisen
Meta Piece, tied: CSM and the Concept of “Want” and “Home”
Summary: There's an unseen tragedy that gets overlooked because of other off the wall elements of the story. Filed Under: Chainsaw Man
FAVORITE ART CREATED
Here’s to creating more, in all capacities, in the new year.
Cosplay: Master Roshi from Dragonball

This was not a good cosplay, per se. I still don't know how to lay a bald cap but it was by far my funniest.
Living in the World: Baku Bottle Blasters
This was actually an amazing year for art because I set a 2024 goal to apply to an artist alley and started my online store this year. These bottle openers were kind of an outlandish passion project that I really couldn't afford to fund but I'm so glad that I did. To date, I've sold them to fans in 3 different countries!
Comp: Mighty O's Cereal Box

Ignore the fact that I'm overly excited and wearing zero makeup. This was the first shirt I sold at Otakon and he came back to my booth like three times before eventually buying it then wearing it the next day. THEN he wore it to a local coffee shop where he was spotted by someone who later found me on IG. So I guess I love how small the world can be sometimes and how such small things mean so much to people (BECAUSE LOOK AT MY DUMB FACE).
FAVORITE ASKS
I also have a few Asks I'm still working through, I've just been slammed through the holidays! Either way, these were my favorite questions to answer this year. Thank you for your curiosity. Come off anon, I don’t bite!
Relationship Dynamics of Some of My Fave Ships by anon (because I adore when someone sees a game somewhere else and thinks "what does this other weirdo on the internet think?" like, thank you for including meee)
Gojo's Moral Alignment by anon
In Defense of Gojo by anon (I stay caping for my mannn)
But Also, Let's Be Real About Gojo by anon (because I like reading other metas, obvi, but I also like the idea of other people thinking I can or would be a peer review of brain rot)
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for tuning in. Have a safe and happy 2025.

MALUS PUMILA AU
I started writing some things about Mistilor's world, and I thought I'd share it here as well! Info will be under the cut, as I did write a lot JSDH Feel free to ask me anything about the AU! I'm still developing it, but I've enjoyed working on it a lot!
What is the Malus Pumila AU?
In this AU, Magolor (who I often refer to as Mistilor) has been possessed by the Master Crown. During the fight with Mistilteinn, the crown planted a seed in Magolor’s head that allowed it to take control of his body and wreak havoc whenever it pleases. Think of it like a sort of Jekyll and Hyde situation, or like Dimentio and Mr. L in Super Paper Mario.
This is the basic gist of the AU, but the world of this AU is drastically different from the Popstar we know. This world’s Dreamland is a traditional Japanese-styled town, where yokai are known to live amongst the townspeople. Magolor was once an ordinary fox, but after putting on the Master Crown, he became a kitsune. In addition, this world’s Kirby is a Baku, who eats the dreams of others as a result of not being able to have dreams of their own.
So what about the rest of the Dream Team?
Dedede, rather than simply being the king, is actually the emperor of Dreamland! As laidback and carefree as he is, he’s pretty well-loved by the townsfolk. He tends to stay in his castle, but when he does make appearances in the town, he makes himself well-known and is happy to put on a show for the people.
The emperor, despite being the emperor, doesn’t actually hold any political power. Instead, he serves as a ruler chosen by the heavens. So that leaves the question: who holds the political power?
That power falls to Meta Knight, the shogun of Dreamland! As the military leader of Dreamland, he is very strict and hardworking in order to make sure no harm befalls the land. Some say he rules with an iron fist, but he really is just heavily devoted to protecting the land he loves dearly. However, sometimes his devotion ends up taking over his mind, and he’s unable to see how strict he is on others, especially those he cares about.. As a result, half the town respects him out of admiration, while the other half respects him out of fear. And that brings us to the last member of the Dream Team, Bandana Waddle Dee! Bandee is the right-hand man to the emperor, always found by his side and working hard to support him. While serving the emperor, he is also in training to become a ninja! He is heavily devoted to his training, so much that he has even taken a vow of silence in order to further dedicate himself to the work. When he’s not training or helping the emperor, he can often be found playing with Kirby and entertaining the townsfolk. As dedicated as he is to his work, he still finds time to enjoy his childhood to the fullest.
That's all I've got for right now, but more is soon to come! Be on the lookout!

Thinking on the whole "Aldera allowed BK to bully Izu" and how Inko is so...uncaring for such fact may be accidental or not...
There are others schools out there...why Izu had to stay in Aldera? Legit. Why? If Inko is so poor she cant afford a new school it would be smth but...the fact she doesnt even try, she is so out of reality...its concerning.
Also...Aldera has (or should have )parents meetings(parents and teachers meeting one another) are the teachers the best actors in the world to convice Inko "your son happy here" or she just dont care?
Another thing: BK is from a rich family...he could have gone to a big school but stay on Aldera. Reason? "To make his hero origin story look good"
1) why? Where this idea comes from? Is AM from a poor background and reach stardom from day to night?
2) does others heroes care for "proper hero background"?
Inko is a bad mom in canon...ironically, bashing fics got it wrong. She doesnt light cigars on her son nor let him starve...she just...do nothing.
Hi @mikeellee 👋,
This. This is where I see Hori's lack of exploration into Izuku's childhood to be a massive problem. Inko is never seen to try literally anything to prevent Izuku's bullying.
A common defense I hear of her is that, "Izuku hid it from her so she had no idea" and while that may be the case later let me ask; does anyone seriously think a four year old can hide being hurt constantly? Let alone being exploded?
So there is two options here:
She could have been too poor to change Izuku's schools / move homes. If this is case - Explore that HORI! That could have been common ground for IzuOcha to bond over!! Not only that but it would have gave Inko a sympathetic reason why she didn't go this route. Hori should have coupled this with a few brief shots of her in the manga showing her trying to speak with teacher, Mitsuki etc... That could have shown a sympathetic and good prominent mother figure.
She saw Izuku being hurt for being quirkless and viewed his suffering as inevitable so did not try to do anything to prevent what he was going through. This is the option that makes Inko look the worst - but also lines the most up with canon in my view. There's metas out there saying that, despite the Midoriya's living in an apartment, they are rich / well off by the interior Hori designs for them (maybe not as much as Bkg but comfortable.) So no monetary boundary to moving. There's the fact that Inko is quick to say "I'm sorry Izuku" and cry on him when he's being diagnosed as quirkless which... It feels like Inko is now expecting the worst for him/ Izuku's future in this diagnosis - which would explain her inaction. (Note - she only tries to protect him after Izu gets a quirk too, by threatening to take him out UA, which lines up with this theory.)
With the Bakugou part - that's just Bakugou's stupidity and ego coming out full swing.
Logically speaking, it would make more sense to go to be best school - rather than whatever Aldera is - to maximise the chances of getting in UA. But Baku is so up his own ass he believes he is innately the best.
First, who lets their child pull this sort of shit when they genuinely want the best for them? Why doesn't Mitsuki sit Bkg down and tell him he's being an idiot? She's done it before. And should do it here.
Second, I WISH this bit him in the ass. I wish he got lower down the scoreboard then third on the term rankings. Or even, failed the entrance exam, got expelled by expellzawa - just anything! Because then it would show Bkg is his own worst enemy.
Third, maybe Baku pulled this deliberately because he knew Aldera would let him get away with being a POS. If Bkg went to a top school do you think they would let him get away with being an abusive turd? Short answer no. If they expelled him - game over for his dream of heroism too. Baku probably knew Aldera would likely fudge things for him to help him get in UA to make themselves look good.
We don't know enough about AM in canon but I do presume that he was from a poorer background due to this view of Bkg's otherwise Bakuboo would not have cared about being seen as "coming from poverty."
TLDR - Inko sits by and does nothing for her son while he was quirkless and being severely bullied because Hori writes her poorly. But there's no nice implication as to why this is the case.
Bakugou is an arrogant idiot who is his own worst enemy - or would be if Hori making him the strongest plot armour all the time.
And AM needs his origins explored - where's the underdog rising to be the number one hero origin story, Hori?

unrelated to the meta posts I'm writing now but like
while relistening to the end of s2... it feels like Lilly has to be a baku, right? or at least an allusion to them?
I mean, there are elements of truffle pig mixed in, obviously, but... she's just so baku-y, for lack of a better word. lmao
(a baku netsuke)
there are a lot of visual similarities, obviously, but also thematically, it makes a lot of sense? like baku were mythical creatures that existed in the dream world and could eat bad dreams so you're left with only good ones. so for them to find a friendly creature that helped them in the dreamlands who temporarily alleviated the awfulness of their situation and just happens to pointedly have a trunk-like appendage and other odd, mismatched body parts...
plus, add to that the fact that an overdependence on baku (i.e. asking them to come eat your nightmares too often) can lead to them eating too much of you, including your hopes and dreams, leaving you an empty husk of a person... that also kind of seems to indicate how things ended with her, too...

A definição da nova meta de financiamento climático, a NCQG, que prevê US$ 300 bilhões anuais para apoiar países em desenvolvimento na redução de emissões e adaptação às mudanças climáticas;
A estruturação do mercado global de carbono;
Reduzir emissões de carbono, por exemplo, investindo em energia renovável;
Adaptar regiões vulneráveis aos impactos das mudanças climáticas, como proteger cidades de enchentes ou apoiar comunidades agrícolas em períodos de seca;
Investir em projetos de descarbonização, como geração de energia limpa, para gerar créditos de carbono;
Transição energética (trocar combustíveis fósseis por energia solar, eólica ou outras fontes renováveis);
Conquistam a confiança de consumidores que buscam marcas alinhadas com seus valores;
Chamam a atenção de investidores que priorizam critérios ESG (ambientais, sociais e de governança);
A importância da Amazônia para o equilíbrio climático global;
Soluções naturais para combater as mudanças climáticas, como projetos de reflorestamento;
