Together Again

This is a piece my husband and I worked together on for nearly six weeks. He's the better drawer in terms of making it more realisitc and conveing the emotions and I do the colours and edits here and there.

Mika Pikazo shared that she finds all of the Monogatari Series OP & EDs great, but out of all of them she really likes Staple Stable & Futakotome because they have a unique and refreshing feeling that only Hitagi's character could deliver.

She also says that whenever she thinks of Monogatari, the first character that comes to mind is Senjougahara. When she first appeared in the show she was left speechless, much like Araragi, because of her striking and intense personality. It was her every word and the things that she did for others that made her such a beloved character to her. Every time Hitagi showed up in the anime she couldn't help but think "Our Hitagi has arrived!"

So cute! I'm happy to see that she also loves Hitagi, like me!

"Mm." Well, that Miss Niijima was free was a good start. It might be nice to have the company, though she'd need to make sure Anzu didn't catch wind of it - she could be terribly obnoxious and nosy about that sort of thing, always prying into Shinobu's relationships regardless of context or the nature of said relationships. "Her mother isn't especially interested in the stage, and her older sister is quite busy with work, such that she isn't often available. Her complimentary tickets for friends and family, then, typically fall to me."

Not that she would complain. When it came to various types of art, Shinobu could admit that her personal preference laid with books and movies, yes, but she supposed it was good to expose oneself to all manner of different artforms, to develop a more well-rounded perspective. Furthermore, they'd take any opportunity they could to be 'busy,' and thus unable to schedule any dates. Similarly, it felt unlikely that she'd be accosted as an event like that, given the average age of the audience, and the general lack of interest shown by her fellow students.

She gave a small wave of her hand. "There's no need to force yourself if it isn't your area of interest, of course." Of course, Shinobu had enough experience herself being dragged along to things that were of no particular interest to her, and she'd prefer not to subject Miss Niijima to something similar. "But, yes, if you'd like to go, I do have a second ticket."

Makoto took a small sip of her own drink before taking a moment to think on the last time she'd actually been to the theatre. She didn't dislike it but also never really went out of her way to go to any sort of shows. She imagined someone like Shinobu was invited out to them quite frequently along with various other places by the many fans vying for attention.

"I am actually free next weekend, as far as I know, and I can't even remember the last time I went to the theatre." She shrugged taking another small sip of her drink before setting the cup down. "Why do you ask? were you given a spare ticket or were you planning on inviting me to join you? because, either way, I suppose I wouldn't really be opposed to the idea."
