🚩 What makes your selfship ‘dark’? Is it the dynamic? The way they met? A specific element of the relationship?

I think that when I started selfshipping with Nolan's Joker I just had no desire to 'fix him' or shy away from the canon violence of his character, so it was always going to be dark! Also, I was thirteen when I designed my s/i so the age gap was a pretty major element, which has a myriad of consequences.

Yeah, it eventually gets public and everyone knows. It's a media storm, one of the Gotham wealthy elite's kids going off and joining The Joker's crime gang. I definitely come back to kill my dad (who is an oc and not really based on my irl dad lol) and my mom and siblings are big traumatized but my s/i thinks she did them a big favor getting rid of him

Possessive, baby! He wants me to be able to protect myself and has no interest in getting in the way of my development of those skills. If I get into a fight, he's on the sidelines with popcorn yelling the occasional tip, not stepping in to help me. But if I actively look at anyone else, there's trouble brewing for them.
