I’m so intrigued by dreamland please explain

I'M STARTING A DREAMLAND TAG because i feel like i'm gonna talk about this a loooot

i've talked about the general summary a bit before and honestly i'm TRYING not to let myself think about it much more, so the brainrot doesn't take over while i'm still writing my current wips

but i can't stop thinking about them getting closer: aziraphale coming to recording sessions and feeling so out of place in a sound studio for famous rockstars, crowley bringing him unprompted takeaway for dinner at the shop/flat because he's had an idea and needs to wordvomit about it or he's going to explode, FALLING ASLEEP AT AZIRAPHALE'S PLACE, finally letting aziraphale see his bland empty rockstar flat he has no connection to and god damn you live like this? no wonder lockdown make you depressed, AND wondering why he still feels so torn up and shy and uncertain around aziraphale like he did when he was a kid, even though aziraphale is OUT now and there's really nothing for them to be scared of, but it's all so new to crowley even though he's realising these feelings have followed him around since he was a boy

Crawling into bed feels a little easier tonight.

He's exhausted to say the least, has been for days now. But now, the prospect of getting sleep seems a little less daunting. A little less impossible.

He's barely gotten under the covers when there's an arm - gently - pushing him onto his back, head hitting the pillow with a small oof as a leg loops over his, a warm weight on half his chest.

One of Roier's hands cups his face, and the spider-hybrid presses a chaste kiss to his other cheek. "¿Estás bien?"

"Sim, sim."

Another kiss, this time to the corner of his mouth. "I'm proud of you. You did good."

Cellbit settles his hand over his husband's, disbelief visible even in the dim light. "It was mostly Pac. He took the notes for the antidote. We wouldn't have done this if not for him. And Phil and Bad setting up the traps-"

"Ay, but who did Pac leave the notes to? You, no? And you worked with Philza and Bad, too, no? You helped make it happen, gatinho. Team effort."

His expression is still doubtful. Roier huffs, shaking his head, but his eyes hold such a warm fondness that Cellbit starts to feel it through his veins. "Pendejo."

The hybrid kisses just above his jaw. "You." His cheek. "Are so." Back to the corner of his mouth. "Stupid."

Roier kisses him properly, then, and Cellbit can't help but melt and smile amusedly into it, hand moving off of his husband's and to his own cheek.

(How did he get here?)

The kiss breaks. "So stupid, yet so sexy," Roier muses.

Cellbit can't help the loud laugh that finally escapes, causing the other to crack up as well. Roier's head falls against his shoulder, struggling to contain himself.

(Sleep ends up taking a little longer to find them that night, but that's okay.)
