What would it be like to have a snow day with the patho characters? (you can choose any you like) it’s too cold to go out today so it’s been on my mind :)

They must have a lot of snow days. Probably, the entirety of winter is a snow day.

It must be a normal occurrence that they wouldn't have much of a reaction to, much like no one was stepping on the crunchy fallen autumn leaves :( I doubt anyone besides the kids would go outside to play with the snow. The Pathologic cast isn't exactly a joyous group, whimsy is scarce in the town.

The town is car-free, so the snow wouldn't be considered a safety hazard. The town will definitely look much more empty to us, stripped of its grassy fields, lush trees, and overgrown flora in general.

The fog problem must intensify during the winter, again, they thankfully don't use cars.

The weather would affect the P2 kin the hardest, tents don't offer much insulation from the elements, and there is no access to electric heaters. Heavy layers and insulating clothes are still an option, tho.

While in P1, the kin used the abattoir as a living space. The hollowed boulder/cave would be heaven during the winter as it traps all the heat inside.

As for the polyhedron, I'm not sure how good paper walls and thin wooden planks are supposed to be at insulation. But it's also magic in a sense, so I hope the 500 kids inside are somewhat safe and warm.

Twyre would shrivel up and wither under these weather conditions, either it's a plant that only sprouts in spring-to-autumn, or it still survives during the winter but becomes very scarce.

So a mankhu's job would get harder. Hopefully, Artemy thought ahead to dry a patch or two of twyre to save for a rainy day.

Characters who didn't bother to put on a coat during autumn (see: Eva and Andrey) probably won't bother during winter either. Prefering to stay inside, claiming the alcohol helps warm them up.

Being seen with someone like Nico, who does not have a positive social standing, would not be a good look for him, expecally considering that, compared to Nico, there is no way Wick can keep up the appearance of masculinity hes built up. And yet, the sense of danger and thrill, the knowledge that everything about this is taboo in every sense of the word would only draw Wick in despite his shame of it all.

And there's not even just shame in the relationship, but also how it affects others around him. Even if you completely remove him and Mitzi dating, he clearly still cares about her. For him to date someone who works directly under Asa, the direct competitor to the speakeasy that Mitzi is fighting so desperately to keep alive? He would feel like he's betraying her in a sense. He has so much to loose from this relationship, but he can't help but be pulled in.

God forbid Nico if the one who takes notice of Wick and openly starts hitting on him, Wick wouldn't have a clue what to do, half his brain screaming at him to keep up his social, masculine appearance, and the other wanting nothing more than to give in, to say screw it and give in to his want to be with Nico.
