Mismatched irises gradually open and fixate on a silver colored figure resting directly beside her. The blur from sleep slowly dissipates, revealing the obscured image to be none other than the Souba wielding remnant, Kadaj. His signature black suit was nowhere to be found (and neither was her garb), thus, exposing his vulnerable flesh for Yuna's eyes to witness.

Curiosity overwhelmed her as Yuna steals a glance across his scar worn body, venturing lower and towards the southern regions of Kadaj's sleeping form, only to frantically retreat said gaze and feel the heat of embarrassment reach heights she'd never thought were possible. It was as if the flames of Hellfire licked and nipped at her visage with relentless fervor! Yevon! Forgive her!

Regardless, Yuna didn't feel the need to panic or run from their current position. Kadaj proved time and time again that he was not there to harm her, to harass, or lay an ounce of malevolent touches upon the young summoner's head. No. He was there for quite the opposite - considering his violent approach to most things that threatened her livelihood, Yuna was comfortable with him this way.

After admiring his content, slumbering face for a brief moment, Yuna smiles to herself and scooted across the mattress to close the distance between them into a relaxing cuddle. Kadaj was incredibly warm, comfortable. Safe. She wouldn't mind staying like this for a few minutes longer.

you were always particularly self aware of you, and the way you carried yourself. you were trained to be; a saddened look must still be graceful, but you can never quite get that distance out of your eyes. today, the rain pattered against the glass of a window, a coffee shop of sorts that did not exist during the time you are from. so modern .. modern, or to you, futuristic. you're getting well used to it; but no matter what window the rain is splattered against, it always ... gets to your head. the fog against the window reflecting your fragile glass mind. your pristine, gentle mask adjusts slightly, you are just the bit ( a bit that matters deeply, ) more sad than usual. how your mother loved the rain. a silent passes. then a voice. you adjust your eyes to the stranger across from you. you are so shocked, so amazed that you had not noticed the chair shift backwards, where the stranger now sat -- it is almost enough to drag you out of your trance. but the words that follow gently place you back into it, as fast as you were distracted. " the look on my face? " you bring fingers to your mouth, a practiced smile where your visage lie.
